However, I did not like the audience standing around like sticks in the mud and/or bitching about the opening act.
That is so rude and disrespectful. They are here performing for you, so at least be appreciative. How about getting on stage and performing, you think you can do better? GAH Only a few people were being respectful and were responding to the music, others were standing around like "These guys suck, I came for the Protomen!" I heard one guy say "I drove 2 hours to get here, had to wait another 2 hours in the line and now we have to wait for this shitty band to finish!" I elbowed him in the gut XD
I drove for 6 hours, and waited just as long as he did. He has no right to complain about the opening act. Like I stated, they're performing for you, so shut up and enjoy it.
Also, they were probably selected by the Protomen as their opening act. So that means that the band likes them at least. GAHHH

Act I was so good, the crowd sang along and everyone was jumping and fists were pumping and there was moshing! Me, David, Nova and some guys from Anime Punch pushed through to the front of the crowd!! Mike from AP wanted to mosh, so we joined the mosh pit. Of course people were in the pit that didn't want to mosh so they bitched and moaned! If you aint gonna mosh get the hell out of the pit! GOD
I was a tad bit drunk, and David thought I was gonna pass out, but I knew that I wasn't and I didnt want to leave until Act I was over.
So to appease David, I went and got water during the intermission, in which the Makeup and Vanity Set played. They were awesome, techno-8bit-DJing goodness <3 I was extremely happy.
By this time, we managed to push our selves up to the stage, and David, Nova, and I were sitting on the stage as Makeup and Vanity Set played. They actually were in the crowd. ^__^ They were so cool. And the DJ was drunk and he was being so funny XD.

Act II was AMAZING!
K.I.L.R.O.Y. had a sledgehammer and he played the metal pipe (haha, seriously, it made a nice metallic CLANK sound, which was most needed for "The Good Doctor" as well as other songs!)
The singer who was portraying Dr. Wiley was HOT! I loved watching him jump around the stage in his Zoot Suit XD
I was pressed against the stage and the entire room was sticky and sweaty. Sweat from Panther's hair flew onto me when he shook his head. It got in my mouth, kinda gross XD! I joked with Nova later that I got a mouth full of ProtoSweat XD.
I lost my voice screaming so much during the concert.
It was amazing, I felt like destroying some evil robots!!
We all went retarded when they played Due Vendetta, to mark the end of the show.
Everyone was crazy, bodies collided with other bodies, drinks went airborne, someone started to strip.
After the song ended we chanted "PROTOMEN PROTOMEN" and they gave us an encore...
The best of encores...

KILROY (thanks for the correction Sephiroth617!) came out, draping another man with an American Flag...was it? Could it be?!
The flag was lowered and the presumed dead DOUG FETTERMAN was revealed!
he picked up an acoustic guitar and began to play a cover of Tina Turner's "We Don't Need Another Hero"
It was awesome!! Slowly the rest of the band joined him. Panther was on the keyboard which was RIGHT in front of me ^__^.

They did a kick ass cover of Patti Smith's/ Bruce Springsteen's "Because the Night" and it was very very very very nice. Verily so.

The Commander was playing Phil Collins' "Against All Odds" on an old 80's children's toy keyboard and singing it XD that was awesome.
I sang along happily.
After the lights cut back on, the house DJ was playing 80's tunes, starting with Phil Collins' "Easy Lover" XD
Yay Phil Collins!

It was such a good show, maybe I can convince David to drive to Nashville again on October 10th to see them again XD I would love to.
I took tons of photos but sadly, it was too noisy to record a video. It wouldn't have been good.

I didn't mention this before, but the last time my dad was in the hospital, there was an x-ray done on his abdomen region and a black spot was found on his lung. They've done a biopsy on it, but it came back inconclusive. The cancer specialists say there is a great possibility that it is cancer. He was supposed to have a PETscan to determine whether or not it IS in fact cancer, but the day he went in for the scan was the day he got admitted for his foot, again.
His sugar was too high the last time he was supposed to take it, so he had to wait a week. During that week, his sugar was TOO LOW and he fainted in the kitchen, smacking his chin on a chair as he fell. The stitches busted on his toe and that caused the staph infection, which led to hospitalization and getting more bone cut out of his foot.
They have to reschedule the PETscan again.
I'm really worried that my dad may have lung cancer. He's a heavy smoker and years ago, before they discovered asbestos was bad for you, he used to work with it frequently! I'm scared for him.

My grandma is no longer in a coma, and she is no longer in intensive care.
I found out the doctors induced the coma so they could administer the medication she needed.
I'm gonna see her today. I'm still worried because she's been hospitalized so much in the past year.

My dad is back in the hospital, he's getting more of his foot cut off because of an infection that is spreading, luckily it'll just be another toe and not the whole foot.
Also my grandma is in the hospital, she had congestive heart failure, AGAIN. She has already been hospitalized twice this year. She is also in a coma.

I would just like to say that some people should just stop picking at scabs and let it heal.
Picking at it just makes it worse!
And it increases the chance for an infection!
A small cut can get all puffy and gross and just plain nasty!

Speaking of cuts....I wanna be a cut-man! I love watching boxing matches and movies and shows and manga...(thats alot of ands)
The cut-man has the coolest job ever- to treat to boxers wounds between rounds.
Whether it be resetting a broken nose or cutting skin around the eye to reduce swelling, I wanna do it.
It looks totally gross and gory at times too, but that is what makes it so awesome.

My roommate was at work, my friend Scarlet was out bar-hopping with her boyfriend and my friend Harmony was stuck at home with her toddler and couldnt find a sitter!

But Meghan, Le'ora, Marcus and I all had a good time, we made pizza and played on the Wii and Guitar Hero: World Tour on the PS3. Then Marcus and Le'ora left, we had to force Le'ora out because we were setting her up to leave with Marcus because he was gonna propose to her!

My roommate RAN home from work, made it back with 10 mins til midnight, then Le'ora and Marcus came back as the countdown started.
We popped some champagne and fizzy grape juice(for meghan, she doesnt drink) and threw confetti all over the house!
Then we went outside with the noise makers and threw more confetti and lit sparklers and danced around until we ran out XD.
So we went up the hill to Harmony's house and knocked on her door and when she opened it we blew the horns and clacked the noise makers and shouted HAPPY NEW YEAR. We were sushed because her baby was asleep.
We were there for about 10 minutes then the ghetto ass gang bangers started firing their guns into the air, and they were two doors down from where we where!
So when they ceased fire to reload, we left, because we knew they were high and we didn't want shit to go down.
When I got home I discovered that Scarlet had stopped by for a drink and to chat a bit, so we hung out and then Harm came over with her kid because they were STILL firing the guns and she was worried that a stray bullet would pierce through her or her baby's window.
but Raerae is adorable and was happy to be with people. So all is good.
I text-chatted with my cousin Mary, who lives in Arizona.
I went to sleep at like 5am!

I'm curious, what are you cooking for Thanksgiving?
Does your family do anything special?
Do you specifically make a special dish?
Any unique things you do whilst preparing a dish?

For me, I have cooked the turkey for the last four or five years (Ever since my mom's surgeries) Each year I get better at it. I have a trick to making my turkey taste really yummy (I find turkey to be bland and I don't really eat it a lot) I cut the skin back and rub the bare meat with a blend of seasonings. I put the skin back over the meat and then I rub the skin down as well. I make a baste using the same seasonings (I usually add more spices and fresh garlic and onion for a little kick) and CHICKEN BROTH (it's more flavorful than turkey broth) I boil it and then pour it in my turkey before sealing it up and putting it in the oven. I also baste the turkey with the solution (for lack of a better word) every hour or so, so the meat stays moist.

This year I am in charge of one of the turkeys (cooked as I described above,) Pumpkin and Sweet Potato pies, deviled eggs and (you're gonna laugh) shrimp cocktail.
I am also making sugar and pumpkin cookies.

I am also going to be making a "Turkey and Dumplings" soup with some of the bird I am cooking right now.

Now to transport this food to my mom's house hahaha

The internet is a very liberal place, where nothing is sacred and all that is said and done can be taken either too lightly or too seriously.
To be conservative on the internet is sometimes a dangerous thing.
You may have a whole plethora of friends online, but as soon as an opinion forms on your conservative e-lips they (generally) turn against you and suddenly you're the bad guy for being different and saying your mind.

Have you noticed that there are so many young liberals on the net who are really just uninformed and arrogant (I can name a few people I know in real life...) they run their mouths and down all your beliefs but get offended and pissy whenever you call their bluff and say facts to their fiction?
I don't know...it seems a lot of these kids who claim to know politics don't know anything.
I AM NOT SAYING THAT ALL YOUNG LIBERALS ARE STUPID
Please don't misjudge me, I am saying that there are lot of young people who don't even know what they are standing up for. Fighting a moral/political battle without any cause, other than it's the "in" thing to do. It's sad and it is sickening.
There are some very intelligent young liberals who are courteous and well informed and they can back their facts without having to google their answers. Reading all these journals and comments to them have brought both groups to my attention and the handful of knowledgeable young liberals has gave me hope for the future.

I have gotten off-topic here...
I feel like there is a real opportunity for fellowship and community between young conservatives here on DA. Let's face it guys, DA is a very liberal place...and to find a group of conservatives, YOUNG ones at that, is-to me- finding an oasis in a desert. I feel like I finally have found a good outlet to express my personal beliefs and views without having to face some sort of persecution.
I have felt alone and outcasted by a majority of my peers from other communities for my beliefs and my stand on issues. It's amazing what one subject can do to a friendship. As I said before, I have a friend who I can't reason with on this subject and so I have to avoid it all together. I don't want to lose friends over my views, but I have.
This is why I am so amazed at this strange little cluster that has formed here. Even some of the liberal kids are friendly towards the conservative ones. That is real maturity, and intelligence. To be able to say kind words to someone after a small debate is amazing to me.
I love you guys.
I just wish that more people would stop thinking with that swarm mentality and start thinking on their own.



I don't even know if this journal makes any sense, but if you can make sense of it and would like to comment, please do so. I don't care what you have to say. I will take what you have to say to heart and give you honest answers.

I'm feeling alot better now.
After I wrote that last journal and got it off my chest, I felt like I was getting back to normal again!
I'm very happy about that!

I just got off of work. its 3:20 AM. I am so tired!
I corrected rush orders today. OMG first time doing rush, it was crazy! Luckily I had another person working it with me.
It started out normal, creating hot picks, modifying orders if the item wasn't in inventory. Then it got real crazy as it neared 10pm (The RUSH wave was inducted and dropped right before 9pm, which is right when there are 2 groups going on break)
So nobody was packing it until 9:15ish!
We had about an hour to pack, correct, and load 180 orders.
(10:30 is when FedEx leaves the distribution center)
It was crunch time and we had 2 orders left, so once we had our supervisor modify them so we could ship them and then we darted to the truck.
I forgot to mention that the DC IS HUGE and we probably ran 300-400 yards (more than a football feild) to the truck.
I had to jump over a pile of corrugated boxes, dodge a forklift and maneuver around conveyor belts and pillars to get to the truck. We mad it just in time! I handed Mr.FedExGuy my package and shouted "TOUCHDOWN!!"

sometimes i wake up and all i can do to keep myself from crying is keeping my mind occupied with useless thoughts.
sometimes i cant stop the tears from falling but i dont know why i am crying.
i want to push my friends away but i cant bare being alone.
i hurt all over and all i want to do is sleep but even that escapes me.
i lay in bed and look at the light from the lamp post creeping in my window and wonder if thats the reason why i cant sleep but when i lost power i missed its yellow beams.

maybe it's time for me to get professional help.

Not all my stuff is there, but I was so anxious to be there, I slept in the living room on the floor. XD. My friend Harm stayed there with me.

It's a two bedroom townhouse, I have a roommate (my friend, David, he's also my lil Sis's beau) It's not in the best of 'hoods but, I like it.
$525 a month, not to bad either!

David's stuff hasn't been brought over yet (we had to wait for a uhaul to become available)
but most of my stuff has. I have the biggest closet, it's gianormous!! I'm gonna put my chifforobe in it!

Last night, my sister and my two best friends were just hanging out, I dont have any furniture so we were sitting on pillows and blankets. I made a pizza and we chit-chatted in the living room. I got pizza all down my shirt so I took it off and threw it in the washer, along with my pj's and clothes from the day before. I didn't have enough clothes to make a full load, so I made Meghan and my friend Léora take off their shirts to fill up space.
Lee wore a tank under her shirt so I only had to give Meghan something to wear.
Once the washer went into the spin cycle, the drain hose fell out of the drain and water got EVERYWHERE.
I shut off the washer and my sister grabbed the 3 towels I had (I just bought 2 of them too) and we started to clean up the mess.
My friend Harmony's like "Let's go to my place and I'll get a mop and some more towels"
Meg and Lee clean up while we're gone.
We get the mop and towels and hurry back and we see those two out back, wringing out the towels. Harm starts drying up the rest of the water, I go and fix the drain hose.
FINALLY its all dry, and for 10 minutes me and Léora wring out the towels.

after all that we play strip poker XD

I missed everyone, work's been a little busy...because I got a promotion!
I am now a floor trainer....yay for me! I get to train the newbies that come to Gap Inc!
I just started on my first group of trainees, they're all nice people.
2 of the 5 are rehires, so really all I had to do was show them the new way we pack.


I also have a crush on someone I work with, but because a few web communities we use have a link to DA I wont name any names. *blush*

HELP ME SAVE BABIES!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will be selling original artwork and prints of the original works at Ohayocon this upcoming January. I cant afford a table, so I've got an apron that I'm gonna paint "Ask me how YOU can save babies" and basically sell my art via walking around the con.
I'll be donating 70% of the proceeds will go to the March of Dimes, which is to help families of premature babies and to do research on prematurity and try to find a way to prevent it.
Please help me help make a difference to the families of premature infants!

The other 30% is to cover the cost of supplies, I dont think I'll even make a profit.
I just need to know what items and characters would sell very well.
Toss some suggestions out there, stuff to help me raise funds for MOD

I'm painting a present for my friend Harmony.
She wanted Rinoa and Squall, but when I first attempted it, it was just soooo gross.
So, knowing her love for Belldandy, I am painting her for Harm.
Its half done now,
I free sketched onto the canvas, I was soo nervous!, but once I started drawing, it just seemed so natural. I just laid down the base colors and once it dries, I'll detail it!

Also, I'm putting the Rinoa/Squall pic in my scraps so you can see its horridness XD

4. Sora and Roxas (looking someone phased or something)
5. Random Chibi Naruto characters
6. Chibi PotC castmates saying random movie quotes

PEOPLE PEOPLE CAN'T WE BE A LITTLE CREATIVE?!?!
How many "I'VE GOT A JAR OF DIRT!" 's do we need?

Is it that hard to be a little creative? I know you're using your talent to make these nice peices of art, but it gets old real fast and it's not even cool anymore.
GET OFF THE BANDWAGON!!!!

Everytime something gets a little popular you see 100's of artists recreating something that someone drew and adding their own little flair to it, but the 'uniqueness' gets stale.

When Inuyasha was really hot and popular there was endless fanart.
FMA fans drove me insane with all the fangirls drawing EdxAl stuff and hell just the fanart in general. There were many people who never even seen the series drawing fanart! SEE WHAT BANDWAGONS DO?
Also there are people who refuse to watch or read some series because they're sick of the fanart.
They hate it because of someone else, not because the gave it a chance. There goes the bandwagon again.

I'm so damn sick of it! I hate it! I used to love to draw fanart but now its just "what's the point?"
There are a few exceptions to this rant, but just a few. Even some of the greatest artists are wasting talent on repetitive bandwagon fanart.

This isn't a rant on fanart, I've drawn enough of it. If I were saying fanart was bad then I'd be a hypocrite.

I mean, I still have the talent to draw, it's just that my hands hurt too much now a days to draw.
I normally can ignore the pain in my hands and wrists from the carpal tunnel and arthritus, but it's so painful. My hands jerk and shake while I draw. Even as I type this my right hand is giving me hell so I am typing mostly with my left hand.
It's not fair to have arthritus at such a young age, I'm only 20! I should be able to draw for long periods of time without stopping to find my hand stuck in a cramped position, unable to draw, write, or even type.
When I was in school and band was my life I had to deal with the carpal tunnel syndrome more, my wrists would swell up and could hardly move. I played flute and to be articulate with my fingers caused more stress on the carpal tunnel. The upright bass I played was a true killer. I had to hold a heavy bow with two fingers with one hand, with the left hand I had to space my fingers far apart to get the proper sounds from the strings I played.
Being an artist and a musician are two of my life's passions. It hurts me so much to think that I won't be able to do what I love because I am cursed to deterioate before my time. I take pain killers, they numb it slightly, but as soon as it wears off, the pain cames back full force. I don't think it's fair. I'm so young. But my crying isn't going to stop it from happening.
There are surgeries I could do, if I had the money. A low-paying parttime job and no health insurance prevents it.

I will do a massive upload with all the drawings I never put on DA. Some of the artwork is old, some is newer, before the pain got to be too much for me.
I will also do another giga upload with a ton of photography, some edited, some raw. Even photography is hard to do.

Thank you for watching me and being my friends for over two years now. heya! I just got paid today! wooooooo hoooooo ^_^ yeah and I bought a ton of stuff for like 1 dollar at Hallmark (where I work) and the original prices on some of it is like $48 bucks! and I bought like 22 things and spent like 5 bucks (thanks to these wonderful $2 off Survey Coupons, I had 6 of them, I'm lucky enough to get them all the time) and I basically bought everyone's christmas gifts! (well except my brothers, everythings too feminine at Hallmark) I am SET!!! wheeee
