Front page profiles and individual thumbnails posted on the home page work fine, but once I try to browse anyone's gallery, even my own, it stops at green. Its even doing that with my messages and inbox. Its been happening for the past 3 days now, and its getting very frustrating... Anyone know if I can fix this?

So, just a little update. I am alive... barely. I've mostly become a lurker on here, I'm trying to change that. I've gotten sick... AGAIN! School has been fun, and actually relaxing. I'm really enjoying my english course. Work however, has been stressing me out more then usual lately, could be connected to my illness though. Life at home has been boring. T comes home from his vacation tomorrow, I'm really looking forward to it. The house has been so empty with just the three of us. I'm actually missing the all the chaos and crowdedness that we usually have, I don't like coming home to an empty house.

On another note, because I'm COMPLETELY retard.
Can any one tell me how to put stamps on my journal? Do I just do it as a normal HTML or is there some stupidly simple dA code that I just don't know about? D:

Devmeet today, a picnic over at Prince's Island Park, t'was very fun. :3 The turnout wasn't as big as it was last year, but it was good seeing the old faces again and a few new ones too. I managed to drag ~Deimlos out with me, muh. Lots of talk about photography, movies and video games. We ended up bringing way too much food for the amount of people we had out, but whatever, more for us! Hah. Someone even brought a Batman Freesbee. Yay, Batman.
~bloodredme brought a huge sheet of paper and some paint, we wrapped it around two trees and painted some fun stuff on it. Some Asian tourists even came by and took pictures of it, hahaha. (We /b/ed up that thing so good!)
It was a short meet, but entertaining. :3

We took so many pictures, most of which I still have to steal off of other people's cameras, but I flooded my facebook with whatever pictures I had, so yay!

She's going to be staying here with me for the next week. She seems to be comfortable here and Cheryl and the boys seem to like her. (Well, Adam anyway, Rad seems to be a bit cranky lately, I hope I didn't do anything to piss him off. :\)

Yesterday, myself and Adam picked her up from Grey Hound in the morning, we got home and made french toast for breakfest and gave her the grand tour of the house (which didn't take long, hahaha). Its turns out we were a bit too loud and woke Rad up. (Sorry hun!) Afterwards I decided to take her to wander around China Town and get bubble tea (yumyum :3) and went back home to watch tv and to meet up with ~Buggyfan27. We decided to get the old gang together and go out for dinner in the South end of town. It was really fun to get together again, we talked about everything and told childhood stories. Ah, the good old memories. <3
After dinner we decided to go hang out at the park by Southland station. That park held a lot of good (and bad) memories for all of us, so we went for old time's sake. We totally lost track of time too and stayed longer then expected.

Today we made pancakes for breakfest and headed out to T&T for some asian treats. Madi brought over Soul Calibur II and III. That game makes me so angry when I play, hahaha. We're all just sitting around playing video games now, we don't know what plans we have going on right now.

Tomorrow 'til Saturday I have to go into work. I had asked for those days off, but long story short, I couldn't get out of work. >=[ So I guess I'll just have to go in and suffer, of course I'm going to be extra bitter about it.

Well, life goes on and I'll just have to suck it up and make up for lost time when I'm off work. I'm getting slightly distracted by Soul Calibur, so I guess I should stop blogging and get back to hanging out with the girls. So I'll leave you all.

Day 1, Friday:
Woke up at about 3:30 - 4 in the afternoon (we're still in Calgary at this point), my roommate had told his Dad he'd be there at noon that day, but had woke up about 5 minutes before I did. After we cancelled the camping trip I thought I'd just be bumming around at home for four days, so he asked me if I wanted to come and that he was leaving really soon. It was extremely last minute, but I thought it'd be fun, so I threw whatever clean clothes I had into a bag (which wasn't much) and we set off. We got up there at about 8pm, we were both pretty tired out from the car ride, so we just sat and relaxed with his Dad, stepmom and his little sister (who was also visiting). After dinner, we put on a movie (Stay Alive), and we passed out in front of that. I didn't get much sleep, time seems to fly by slower out there, I think I only got about 20 minutes of sleep.

Day 2, Saturday:
We went out into the city (Edmonton), to get his Dad's car looked at. He had built a Camero and was planning to race it that day, but it was over heating really badly. Driving through Edmonton was frustrating, all the roads and that entire city was messed up and confusing, even the GPS didn't know where to go (seriously, half the roads weren't shown on the GPS, so at one point it showed us driving over a river with no road underneath us. I didn't know we were driving a boat.)
Afterwards, my roommate, his sister and myself decided to go see Pirates 3. We had a bit of time to waste before the movie, so we did a little bit of shopping at Stitches. Like I've said, I didn't have a lot of clean clothes to bring, so by the second day, I was out of clean shirts and was walking around in one of my roommate's cotton t-shirts that I was baking in. I managed to buy two shirts and my roommate bought a pair of pants and two shirts for himself, so he wasn't complaining too much about clothes shopping.
The movie was so long, but it had its moments. With my 20 minutes of sleep, I had dosed off about 3 times during the movie, so I guess the movie seemed longer then it was. We stopped off for iced caps on the way back and that woke me up a bit.
Before dinner, his Dad took me out on his quad. I didn't think it'd be any different than being on the back of a motorcycle, but it was. It was a hundred times scarier than being on the back of a motorcycle, I thought I was going to fall off the damn thing. Then he let me drive it, we went on the trails and onto the main roads, and I didn't hit anything! Yay! It was so cool. This is officially the first motor vehicle I have ever driven, hahaha.

Day 3, Sunday:
More driving on the quad, this time my roommate took me out on it, and I also got to drive it by myself, but not on the trails, just around the field (aka the giantic backyard), and I still didn't hit anything. Yay!
My roommate took me out on a drive in his Dad's Camero (the car is so cool, it has Nos), we drove by the lake and we both decided it was too nice out not to take a quick dip in it. So we returned the car, grabbed some things together and the girls (his little sister and her friend who stayed over) and went off to the lake. The lake was COLD, and also kind of gross with all the floaties and bugs in it... the girls had no problem with the temperture, but my roommate and I instantly thought it was a bad idea, hahaha.
We planned to go home that night, but my roommate was way too tired to drive, so we decided to stay for one more night.

Day 4, Monday:
My roommate's birthday. We started off the day by mowing his Dad's lawn. I helped out with the small mower, and he also showed me how to drive the riding lawn mower (the second motor vehicle I've officially driven, hahaha).
At breakfest, his Dad and stepmom stuck a sparkler and a candle in a sausage and we all sang "happy birthday" to him. The picture of him looked hillarious.
After we finished up with the lawn, we decided it was time to head home.

This weekend was so fun, his family is so nice and awesome, and his stepmom is an awesome cook. Their little dog, Yamaha, is so adorable, he seemed to like me, but doesn't like to let me nap, hahaha. The country is so relaxing, except for all the mosquitoes. (*itchy, itchy* ~_~). We plan to go out there again soon, it was nice to get away from the city, but I missed home and the boys. <3

I have another shift at the new location in a couple of hours, that place is more enjoyable than I had expected, and it’s less busy and a lot closer to home. I’m afraid that with the possible transit strike, traveling to work will be more troubling than it already is. Having the ability to drive a vehicle would be very useful to me right now.

I'm starting full time hours at a different location, and still keeping my weekend hours over at my regular location, and so far, my schedual is two days off a week, and not in a row.
Once I save up enough money, I'm going to take my driver's ed course, and hopefully get my driver's license before the next school year starts.
I'm going to be finishing/fixing up any projects that I've half assed (I hate giving up on something and having a crappy piece laying around). Get my old and new portfolio pictures onto my computer so I can finally have something to update. I still need to re-do the portrait of my grandparents (that I started three summers ago!), hopfully finishing it and sending it to them this summer. I have to finish sewing my kitty hat, and I want it done in time for Otafest.
I still have to do my measurements and send them to Holly for the lolita yukata dress (and I must do this soon!), we also have to go fabric shopping so that I can pick out my colours (which I don't have time for). Get my hair done for the show, so I don't look completely weird in my yukata dress, which I have to do within these two weeks.
I'll also be volunteering at Otafest this year, I've missed too many meetings already, and I honestly have absolutely no idea what I'm supposed to be doing there.
I miss seeing my friends, so I must make time to see them! I also promised Shawn that we will go get Stephen Colbert's Americone Dream ice cream at Ben and Jerry's with him (I'll be so bummed if they don't have it), and go visit our art teacher from high school.
My mother pretty much demands that I stay over on every single one of my days off, she lives on the other side of the city and is an hour and a half on transit. Oh, and my roommates want to go camping... eventually. I also very desperately need to organize all my art work and clean up my living space.
I can't seem to fall asleep anytime before 3am with the feeling that I've completely wasted a day if I go to bed any earlier then that.
I miss sleep.

WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH PEOPLE TYPING LIKE IDIOTS?! MY GOD! SPELL OUT YOUR WORDS PEOPLE!

Why do people feel such a need to not type out words? Is it so incredibly hard to type two extra letters or something? I myself find it MUCH harder to type in l33t!

For example:

hv = have??
lyk = like?
rilli - really????
giv = give? (Wow, its so hard to type an E at the end!!)
thnk = think? (Again! Only missing ONE letter! ONE!)

Attention people! Typing lyk dis <-- Does not make you cool! It makes you sound like a moron that doesn't know how to spell!
So, if you're one of those people who type like this, don't bother leaving me a comment saying: "OMG, U R so mean! Typing lyk dis is teh K00lz!" or some fucked up shit like that! My best suggestion to you is to buy a dictionary and SMASH IT INTO YOUR OWN HEAD!!


Now that I've got that out of the way...


Here's an actual update! I've decided to put off my design portfolio for second year entry on hold 'til third year. I just want it to be perfect, and I don't want to rush it. Plus, this gives me a year of being DESIGN FREE, especially typography! Oh, how I hated typography. I'll be taking another year of undeclared major, this will give me a chance to get a better liberal studies grade and I can also get back into the fine arts side again. I might finally get to take the jewery course, and another of year silk screening/fabric printing! Which reminds me, I should take a picture of that sweater I silk screened before I destroy it completely...


And now for some good news/bad news.

Bad news:
I've been painting my ass off the past week trying to get my final Colour Theory project finished for Monday. I have to paint 20 5" x 7" landscapes, all of which with a different colour composition. :/ I've been painting since 9:30 this morning, I've eatten once today, and only had 2 hours of sleep. I physically ache from head to toe from sitting in this position for so long, and my hand is so sore that I'm thinking of just chopping it off! I swear, by the end of this project, I'm going to end up with tendinitis, and cadmium poision. x__________x
I had to skip out on work today in the slightest hopes that I'll have this project done, my boss was not too happy with me about that... and I'm STILL not done! PLUS! I'm going to have to miss CCEE tomorrow so I can finish this. T______T My friend has already bought me a ticket, and if she can't find anyone to buy it, I'm going to have to pay her for it. AND I WAS SO LOOKING FORWARD TO THE EXPO!!! D=

Also, not going to the expo, equals putting off seeing my friends... AGAIN! I haven't seen them in so long! I miss you guys!

Work doesn't have enough hours to give me full time, they only have me schedualed in for Saturdays! I was supposed to pick up shifts at another location, but because I'm not a key associate yet, they don't know if they can use me. So spring and summer will equal me hunting for a second job! AGAIN! I thought I was finally settled at this job, I don't want to have to leave again!


Goodnews:
By Monday, I should be free of school, so I can finally relax a little bit and work on some "leisure art" aka "art that isn't painting 20 freaking landscapes!". I can finally continue with drawing some comics that I've put a hold on.

I'm $200 away from affording a driver's ed course. I'm hoping on getting my licence before the next school year starts.

Otafest is coming up! A con that I KNOW I'll be going to! I'll also be volunteering there this year, I'll be in the vendors room mostly though.


And the in between:
My high school finally contacted me with the scholarship money that I won. But the money will all go towards student loans, boo...

I've commission ~DustedRose to do a gothic lolita yukata for the lolita show at the con, and we're finally getting started! :3 I'm hoping it'll be ready in time for the show. I'm so psyched to see the final piece, I'm sure it'll be amazing!
Except... I just have no idea how my money issue might turn out. This month is going to be a bit tight, with one shift a week and all. (Even though I'll have Sunday to Saturday free pretty much 24/7! x___x )

Of course I woke up just as he said "Oh, she's sleeping.", just in time to reply, "I'm not sleeping... I'm meditating." He ran into me in the hallway during break and asked if I was sick and maybe that was the reason I seemed so tired. I told him that I've been sleeping maybe eight hours every two days for the past little while.
After the break, he announced to the class "Those of you who haven't slept yet...", he paused and looked at me "... Or those of you who are sick... go home. Don't waste your time here, but that'll count as an absent." I didn't leave, I wanted to come back after lunch to work, so I did.
After lunch, we're all sitting around, talking and working and he askes me, "Do you drive home?" I tell him no. "You take the bus home?" I tell him yes. "You're too tired to be here, go home." So I did, and he totally didn't care, he encouraged it more or less.
I guess I should really go to bed, but I know I won't be able to fall asleep... Hmm... at least I'm past the point where everything is either funny, or makes absolutely no sense.

I decided that I hated my new work location and my new boss, so I quit. I'm still in the process of finding another job, my last day was not even a week ago and the idea of being jobless has already driven me insane.
My birthday was on Wednesday, I am now nineteen, I feel so old. Haha. I celebrated the day with my roommates and a few close friends by going to our usual wing night at Bootleggers. They now have incriminating photos of me attempting to shoot a Muff Dive, which I must add, failed horribly.
I will have to celebrate my birthday again tonight with my mom and my sister at their place. And then again on Saturday at the club. I don't think I've ever had such an exhausting birthday that consisted of three days of events, but everyone seemed to have insisted on me making an appearance, instead of hiding away like a hermit like I had originally intended.

First semester of ACAD is almost over. I'm so looking forward to winter break. The next semester is going to be brutal. I'm taking three design courses, and all my design friends are telling me how hard its going to be, but I guess I'll have to wait and see.

Today is Chinese New Year Eve! Gonh Hey Fah Choy! (Happy new year!) A bunch of us went to Dim Sum, and it was yummylious :3 I spent all the money I had on paying for the meal, so I couldn't get Madi part two of her present x_x I'm gonna have to get her a real present when I get a job and money again (And I'm going to Madi! No matter what you say!!!) Ty was sick and couldn't come, so me, Bec, and Madi brought ice cream for him. :3 China Town was so fun today, hopefully I'll get to go back tomorrow and maybe with money this time if I could dig some up! >.< Madi got me a Nightmare Before Christmas purse as an early birthday present *-* (Like I've said so many times before... I LOVE YOU MADI!!!!!)

Hmm... so tomorrow I'm meeting up with Orry and my friend Rachelle, and I have to stop by my ex-work to visit and bother them about my checks, then I'm gonna go to Red Lobstar and apply for a hostess postion. Then I'm going to meet up with Ty at China Town so he can go to the festival :3 Yay ^^

On a completely unrelated note... Gah! People are already asking me what I want for my birthday! x_x As most of you know, I don't celebrate my birthday, so I don't expect anyone to get me anything, plus no one ever remembers and I never remind them XD So for those of you who are stubborn like me, and insists on getting me something but are having trouble, here's some suggestions. Most of this stuff I actually need! XD

For the past two weeks I've completely insolated myself from everyone outside of school to study for my diplomas. I haven't gone out to see my friends, this is the first time in a week I've been online and I told all my friends not to call my house and I haven't called any of them... I miss my friends...
Two exams down, one more to go...
Now that my Chem diploma is done and over it, I can start to relax a little. But now I play the waiting game for my marks to come back. The anticipation for it is more frustrating than the preparation and the exam itself.
Gah! I can't believe there's still one more week of all-work-and-no-play-makes-Jack-a-dull-boy! >.O
Going insane isn't good.
At first I thought this whole isolation thing was nice, I didn't have to deal with all the emoness and drama that existed among my group of friends (no offence to anyone), but now I'm just... loney... puu... u_u
At least I have Madi's birthday and Chinese New Year to look forward to. ^^

- Lost interest in gaia (again)
- Slept over at a gay boy's house
- Slept in the same bed as a gay boy
- Kissed a gay boy
- Kissed a girl (several girls hehehe)
- Left a heart shaped bite mark on someone's neck (heheheh)
- Got a bit better at DDR (I can do heavy now!)

Stuff I wanna do in the up coming year:

- Pose nude (or at least topless) for art photography (I'm so serious! I still wanna do that XD)
- Get snake bites
- Get a cell phone
- Quit my job and get another one that isn't in a smelly thrift store >.>
- Kiss more girls (hehehe XD)
- Not get involved in a relationship! (They're too complicated! Being single is easier! Lol)

Went to China Town today with Madi, Ty and Adri. I decided to spend all the money I saved up for a cell phone (which was all the spending money I had) on xmas presents for my friends instead XD I'm smart, so my plans of getting a cell phone by the end of the year is pretty dead, but that's ok, I can always save again. :3

We went back to Ty and Leon's house and played poker, I was out by the first hand, smart of me for never folding in a poker game. XD Then we went over to the Leather Pocket for DDR before we went to dinner at the dim sum place at Deerfoot mall. Ty payed for me and Madi's dinner. *SPOILED* Damn, I feel so cheap!
I LOVE MY FRIENDS SO MUCH!!!!! ;.;

So I've gotten sicker since yesterday. I was getting better, then I figured, "Hey, I'm already sick, so it won't matter if I share a frozen yogurt with someone who's also already sick." Well, I was wrong. n_n;; Hehehe.

I miss Orry, I haven't seen him in so long! He showed up at DDR yesterday with his boyfriend, he's so cute. ^^

Ty and Leon lives so close to the Leather Pocket! I was very Oh Em Gee about it when I found out.

Grrr, I hate flaky people. I went over to pick up Riss from work, I got lost for about five minutes, I couldn't remember if her work was upstairs or downstairs, so I show up there and I figure she was in the back changing or something so I waited there for about 20 minutes before I left, I then ran into her at the train station and then she tells me that she didn't want to come to dinner with us anymore cause she wanted to hang out with Mitch.

The waiter accidently spilled soup on me... so we all got free soup. XD It was a good dinner. :3

Jeshi went crazy with eye make up, she made me look like crazy cat woman... it was the scariest thing I've ever seen. >.>

Went to the unofficial Fur Dinner that Madi planned at Chanti's :3 Ish was yummers... Got to see Orry (and Orry Bear), Adri, Madi (of course), RadicallyCanadian, Bri (I miss my Basil-Bat! <3) and met Iron-Wolf :3.
I wrote Orry up a budget!!!! XD He better follow it *shakes fist* =_=
The waiter spilled water on my sketch book! ;_; some of the signitures on the front cover are a bit ruined, but its ok overall... this is what I get for being a starving artist...
God, we're all so effing ADD... did any of us ever tip the waiter? ._.
We wanted to go to Adri's house, but her dad kicked us out... so we dropped off Bri at her house (Me, Madi and Bri sat in the back, and Orry laid on our laps XD) After we dropped off Bri, we went to Eau Claire, foos ball is fun... I scored on myself! XD (I let you win Ty, you know it )
We got lost trying to drive to my house... XD
We sorta just left Orry to walk home... alone... in downtown... I hope he didn't get kidnap... o.o he can protect himself with his hangers! The Crazy hanger man!
