Mural is completed!!!!!!!!!!!

waiting for coordination between contractor and building owner for it's installation.

(the priming is the most boring but the most important)

I am bushed .... so now I'm resting before I have to go to work tomorrow .. I will be painting on afternoon's after work and before supper. I have 3 months planned for the painting...

To hide deviations from your gallery list... without deleting them ( because that is very time intensive)

across the top .. shop - collections.. channels
then there is a MORE button

there under in the pop up list is Submit and Organize.. click on that
then under Manage Prints.. your entire list will come up ( one page at a time)
and you can select to have them stored...
they are not deleted but don't show up in your gallery

I couldn't make it to work this morning... I tried an slid all the way to my neighbors driveway.
I was lucky to get my car back into my garage

so I had the day to do things around the house.
I decided to work on belly dance costumes.

Specifically the jewelry part .. so the next uploads will be what I did today

but artwork wise I will be tied up for a while. I will be doing a mural on panels to cover the side of a downtown building in the spring. but I will paint it this winter.
I've posted the preliminary drawing here in my gallery which was accepted this past thursday at a town meeting.

Then when I get done with that I have a mural to do for a museum.. of a winter scene.. 3 panels size ( 15 foot by 10ft) .. Ironic - I do a summer mural in winter and a winter mural in summer

but I will check in now and again to see whats up!!

and the days are getting really short...
I have been working on lots of projects for organizations and people..
and I have some projects that have to be finished for x-mas gifts.

I uploaded a couple logos I did for my dance instructor. Now to work on Our town's 150th banner logo...the town I live in will celebrate it's 150th birthday of incorporation.. but it actually was settled earlier. I need to get a gally proof done for monday.

well the sun is up and it's another day I have to rush off to work

sorry - nothing new to submit.. painting has been on the back burner for a while...

designing an outdoor banner for our towns 150th celebration in 2009.... maybe I'll post the sketch once it's done..
I have to climb to the roof of one of the tall buildings town (only 3 stories) and take a shot of main street for the right side of the banner....

I think the "Terrace" is 4 floors but that's it for a town of 700 people. so I won't have to climb too far...

DAmn! the world moves on...
and what I think is common knowledge - i.e. cultural icon stuff has fallen away into oblivion

I have one 19 year old employee who has NEVER SEEN Star Wars!!!! DOesn't know who Darth Vader is !

Then yesterday I discovered the 15 year old employee DOES NOT KNOW who the Beatles are!

Another employee (who's 26) and I spent 15 minutes singing songs like Hey Jude, Yesterday, Yellow Submarine, Let it be,Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds...nothing rang a bell!!!!!

Am I officially old? or did those two grow up in a vaccumm????
