First thing in the morning, I have a math test to finish, of which I do not fully understand (...thaaat's not good).

This weekend, my half-sister and her fiance came to visit. We gave them their Christmas and birthday presents (Yeah, it's been a long time.). My brother showed them how to play the Wii, and that's basically all they did for two days. Then we went to our uncle's house to celebrate his birthday.
All in all, it was an eventful but uneventful weekend, if you know what I mean.

I found out how to add color to a black and white photograph. It's a lot more work than I thought it would be. I have a really good idea in my head now, it just needs to be set up.
So, hopefully I'll have some new styles of photographs coming in soon.

Agnorant... Teens today lack even the basic vocabulary to pass a simple high school exit exam. They shouldn't be using a word that was created from two other words that they probably don't even know how to spell.

Thanks CNN, now I'll know which one to back-hand the hardest the next time I'm offered the opportunity to surround myself with the adolescents.

I don't know which I'm more annoyed by: the words, or how happy and excited those men seem to be to talk about this on the news... cause the nation totally gives a flying fuck, am I right? Anyone you know that's died of cancer? Today, my mom wore a bandanna that her mom was holding when she died of cancer.
My thoughts are all jumbled. I'm really tired. I haven't stayed up this late/early in a while.
I don't know why I am making a journal right now. I'll write more later, and smooth out all the jumbledness of this journal when I am thinking coherently.

Where I live, there is a small church across the street, and on the 16th it was broken into through a window. It wasn't repaired, and then next night it was broken into again by the same window, and burned. I was still awake listening to music at the time, so I didn't think to randomly look out my window. o_O I heard sirens, but as soon as they got past our house, they stopped, so I didn't think it was anything.
My dad happened to be awake and I /wasn't/ supposed to be awake, so he came into my room and said to go to bed. He turned off the lights, and I was facing my window, so when it got dark, I saw flashing lights. Looked out the window and there were two firetrucks and a police car in front of our house...They were more in front of our neighbor's house, so I thought the neighbor's house was on fire. I also thought that since my dad was up, he had seen everything going on outside, so I didn't mention anything to him (and of course, he hadn't seen anything... -_-). The firetrucks and police car left at around 2:48 in the morning, and then I went to sleep.
Nothing happened yesterday, but today while I was home alone, someone came knocking/ringing on our door. I first looked for a car in the driveway, and there was none, so I tried looking out the window to see if I could see the person. He was trying to look in so I ducked out of the way. I saw his face but didn't know him so I didn't open the door. He stayed there knocking away and I got /really/ creeped out so I called my mom (she was almost home anyway). The guy had left by then and went on to another neighbor's house. He saw my mom pull in the driveway and he came back over to our house.
Turns out he was with the FBI and was investigating the arson on the church. He wanted to know if we'd seen anyone hanging around the church or a gray pickup truck. We hadn't, and he left to go to another house.

It's been really weird around here lately...I mean, we get drive-by shootings a lot, but never arson or break-ins...
(as far as I know...)

Oh darn. I already am crazy. It's my own fault so don't worry!

I'm trying to make this journal without using any emoticons. This is hard. No, this is very hard. It should not be hard for a normal person. Something else that is hard is trying to keep a certain gnat that somehow got into the house away from my rice, at the same time typing, drinking iceless tea, singing along to Nausea & Shudder by GazettE, answering private messages from Stephanie on Gaia, finishing up requested avatar art for BoldHeart11, and trying (and failing) to download the manga pages of Gunslinger Girl.

I want to upload something, but since Elley and Joe are gone right now, I don't want to overwhelm them with deviations...

I just read this book called "It's Kind Of A Funny Story". It's about a guy named Craig who is depressed and almost tries to kill himself. It goes along with it's title, and it is actually a funny story. I liked it very much. I learned more about depression from it, and it is a mood and it is a disease. It scared me a lot because I think now that my depression is a disease...

But continuing with Craig: He plans his suicide and decides he wants to throw himself off the Brooklyn Bridge. Before he leaves, he finds a book of his mother's, and he opens it. On one page, it says something like, "If you are struggling with depression and suicide, then call this number." Eventually he winds up calling 1-800-SUICIDE and the guy tells him he needs to go to a hospital and that he made the right choice to live. He goes to the hospital and checks himself in.

I'm not saying any more, but it is a seriously awesome book and everyone should read it, even though a few parts are a little pervy.

(I actually did want to write more, but I lost my train of thought when I played Nausea & Shudder again, and I got bored typing.)

Sorry for my lack of journals lately.
My surgery is in 4 days. He said it was better to have it than just forgetting about it and having my eyes sink into my face and not be able to breathe or something weird like that.
But I have one question. What kind of professional tells someone that someone they knew died of the surgery I'm getting?!??!?! (it was my orthodontist to be exact) Maybe she didn't think that I would worry so much that I would cry every night? Maybe I WANT to die? What does she know anyway!?!?! My other half-sister had invited her over for Easter dinner, but she didn't really want to come, so she went back home. Her roomate saw her let the dog outside, and never saw her alive again... She noticed the next day that the dog was still outside, and knocked on the door to Margaret Anne's room. No one answered. The door was open so she let herself in. I'm not too sure about the next part, but her roomate found her in the closet hanging with a belt around her neck. The police ruled it as a suicide...
I found out on Tuesday while finishing dinner. I was so upset that I didn't do any of my homework (I did math, but only because I have that first period) and just sat in my room until I fell asleep at 11 or 12. School yesterday was really bad...-doesn't go into detail- but at least I managed not to get sent to the councelor... ("Erin, are you okay? O_O" "Uh, yeah...I'm just tired! ^_^")
Bleh...
I won't be at school today or tomorrow because we are leaving for her viewing at 12, and it's a 5 hour drive to where it is and Friday is the funeral...
I just keep thinking that she will be at the funeral, mourning for the person who died (whoever that may be) and not the one going to be buried...It just can't be her...She's not gone...Not Margaret Anne... ;_;

Anyway...
About a month ago, my mom was at my little brother's school to pick him up. On the grass, she found a jawbone. She thought it was human, so she called the police. A few minutes later, a policeman showed up. He said that it looked canine, but the back molars were round and not sharp, so my mom was not convinced. He took it with him and joked, "You'll probably find out faster than I will!"
Some people in the area where I live may have found out that a police man died a few days ago after spinning out of control in the road and hitting a tree. He died from massive internal bleeding. That was the same man who had helped out my mom when she found the jawbone.
I didn't know him or anything, but it's still kinda sad...

It was a place where people fought for order, food and freedom. It was there where Shou (Gackt), raised as an orphan and Kei (Hyde), who could live forever because he was a vampire, met and became the best of friends. But, they were unable to escape from the fight for power involving gangs of different ethnicity on the street of Mallepa.
I'll admit, it slows down a little bit in the middle, but please don't let that stop you from finishing it. Moon Child ends up as a very memorable movie. ;_; I will never forget it... ;_; -cries-

I already drew "Life," but I need to scan and upload it, and I don't have any time. I have to finish a poem for school, do a dichotamous key for a science project thing due tomorrow and it is exactly 7:00 PM right now. Plus, I want to play Kingdom Hearts instead of doing what I should... -pokes mood smiley- We only had 2 days at school to work on it (Thursday and Friday) and now the weekend.
Weekends are for sleeping all day and being lazy! No fair...

As you can see, Hunter (my brother) and stairs do not go over well together.
Something else that I think is strangely funny is how Hunter breaks a bone every two years. And I always seem to switch schools every two years; the same year he breaks a bone.
I have been to four different schools in my lifetime. One school I went to for one year though.
Hunter has broken a leg, collarbone, arm, leg again, and now he has injured his ankle. I don't think it is broken because it has only been a few months since July, not 2 years.
I think I'm turning into Neji, saying all this kind of stuff. xD
School tomorrow...

Well, Thanksgiving just got over and now it is almost time for Christmas/whatever you celebrate. Wow. '06 is going by so quickly. One thing that aggrivates me about this time of year is how easily Thanksgiving is looked over. They start playing holiday music right after Halloween! o_o; Don't get me wrong, I like holiday music, but poor Thanksgiving.... -patpat-
