So...Christmas Time is coming around and so shall the influx of Pembroke Welsh Corgi fans find that lovely picture of Carmen in her reindeer costume. I love that photo and what it has done to expose me as an artist and a corgi fan to this community...but now I have people requesting prints of it.

I've never done prints before and I am wary about doing prints through deviantArt. Will I be paid part of the profits of making this photo a print? Will my copyright remain intact and prevent people from staking their claim on an image that I toiled to create?

Until these questions can be answered for me, I can't agree to fulfill requests for prints. Has anyone had any experience working with dA's print process?

Wow I can't believe it...I'm 22 years old now. I never thought that I would be where I am in life right now when I first came to this community and I couldn't be happier. Thank you guys for all the support you've given me! I promise I will be posting some actual arts soon!

I lost my job at MagiQuest last month TT^TT but thats okay because I still have my job at Coastal as a supplemental instructor and I got an email last week about getting a personal tutoring job through Hitachi Metals. I get to teach employees conversational English (just like my mommy when we lived in Japan!

)! This is a big step in the right direction for me and I hope I get the job!

Thankfully, Carmen's wanderlust hasn't effected us too much anymore and we've had to be more cautious when taking her out when it's storming or there are loud noises to be heard. She tends to bolt now with that...but we are slowly training her that when it gets loud for her to just go in her crate where she'll be safe if she doesn't think Dev and I can protect her

She's actually grown to a full 25 lbs and is pretty long, just like her relatives and we have to get her a bigger crate now TT^TT does anyone want a crate for their dog or cat that is around the size of a corgi?

Also...I know I'm a slowpoke for saying this but...The Avatar Finale came and went during the period of time since my last journal. It was phenomenal but I wish more could have been focused on like Zuko finding his mother. I'm not a hueg Zukofag...it just would have been nice to know what happened to her since it was such a defining feature of Zuko's character. I also was hoping that something would have been addressed about the Air Bender population...me and everyone else right?

All in all, like all good things it came to an end and it came to a satisfactory one. Like Isaia has said, fans all over the world of the awesome that was Avatar can still continue the story one their own so Avatar will never die!

I know you guys were with me last night!

I appreciate all the warm thoughts and prayers to get my baby back home.

Devin and I looked for Carmen until about 2 in the morning before we decided we'd have better luck in the daylight. Devin's sister and her boyfriend kept looking until about 3. We searched the woods behind our neighborhood and everything and the only signs of her were from some drunk and troublemaking kids in our neighborhood (Srsly these were the same people who set a palm tree on fire for fun).

So we made a poster and called it a night, planning on getting up as soon as the light was good enough to look for her again. We left the kitchen light on in case Carmen came home so she could see the light through the back door...

4 o clock in the morning I hear sounds outside our back door, like whining and scratching. THERE WAS CARMEN! She was wet and covered in mud, no doubt that she probably sought refuge in one of the ponds with tall grass or reeds.

After about an hour of cleaning her up we all passed out together in our bed.

Thank you guys again for the support! We hope to never have to live through such an experience again!

Not like I haven't been on dA because I have been commenting on everyone's pages but I just haven't been motivated to update my journal. Nothing big has really happened that those of you who know me here don't already know but in case you're out of the loop:

>My parents got a new house in Northern Virginia and I finally got to see it.
>I got to see Danger Boy geek out at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum when we took him there.
>My little bro graduated and he's off to ODU...much to my disappointment but its no fault of his own.
>The whole danged affair of going to his graduation and all the stuff around it had me uber depressed...again...no fault of my brother's.
>Danger Boy and I celebrated having Carmen for a whole year!...Oh and it was on his 21st birthday!
>And lastly...I finished Kushiel's Mercy! It was the best end to a series I've ever read. I won't go into detail but the ending was perfect.

So...not much. But the main reason I'm writing this journal is because I got on dA today like I do 3-4 times a day and when I went to bed last night, I had 7,800 sum hits.

I got on today at 7 and you guys blew me away. I hit 8,000 plus hits! Never in my life did I think I was going to get this many hits. Thank you guys so much for letting me be part of this community for over 5 years.

Finally, the little upstart known as !Daddyloveless had been banned! It just sucks that it took over a month for it to finally happen but I'm glad the admins got off their butts and took care of it. It was inexcusable that they didn't take care of him when 20 plus deviant reported his theft and vulgar language saying that there was nothing they could do about his speech and threats to others.

Now to happier news, I got my subby back!!!

Thanks to the Good Samaritan who gave it to me! I hope you tell me who you are soon.

Also...

Another Kiriban is coming up! In a short amount of time I've neared 7,777! Just like last time, the winner of the Kiriban must get a screenshot of the page hit and send it to me. This has gone on long enough and now the thief has restored to sniping at his accusers. Let me start from the beginning...

*vangelisgenesis informed all of her watchers of an art thief who had previously been stealing deviations involving tickle fetishes (which I have nothing against. To each his/her own) was at it again.

~Daddyloveless has stolen 38 deviations over the past month and he refuses to remove them even tough he understands completely that he his stealing them. Many deviants have rallied together to report his art, even the artist ~jhAceituno has reported the 21 deviations that were stolen from him.

But obviously this is not enough. Usually it takes the admins 3 to 4 days to spring into action over art theft yet we've been reporting this guy since Saturday and nothing has been done. I'm asking those of you who watch me to help get this guy off of our community. He has no respect of others or their art and has even implied that his father owns deviantArt [link] yet he hasn't given us proof (aside from the fact that his last name is Davis, which obviously isn't $spyed's or °matteo's last names). And now he is attacking those who have accused him here [link]

It gets even better from here folks, he attacked a deviant today for not doing a REQUEST within a day of putting in that request [link]

He need to be stopped before he hurts more artists, my friends. So please help us get this cruel and heartless person out of our community by reporting his thievery.

Just to warn you, this is a bit of rant.

Ok so...I get up at 7 every morning to get to school for either Algebra or to get Devin to his Chemistry class on Thursdays. And today was business as usual, dragging myself out of bed by 8 to get to class by 8:30. I get there...and the building my class is in is SHUT DOWN. Why is it shut down you ask? Because a teacher and 2 students were treated yesterday for CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING!

My school got an alert system after the VTech shooting and it didn't do a lick of good. I'm signed up for this service and I didn't get a damn thing in way of a warning until 9:30 with an email to follow at 10 am. Why did it take 2 hours to get the email to me and six to eight thousand other students at Coastal Carolina University? I can send mass email to anyone at the school with up to a 100 recepients and they get it within 10 minutes. So CCU...wtf?

What upsets me even further aside from this is that after this incident, my school is deciding to put carbon dioxide detectors in the building that was shut down plus the 4 other buildings on campus that have the same heating/cooling and ventilation system. WHY DIDN'T WE HAVE THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE PRESIDENT DECENZO?!

I appreciate the efforts that my college is trying to make in order to make Coastal more safe for the students but come on...I pay 8,000 plus a year for this?!

On a side note, I had my interview today for a new job I'm getting at the end of April if all goes well. As far as I know, my job as an SI ends in May unless I'm hired again for the Fall semester or the Foreign Language Center hires me. Only person thats talk to me about getting hired is the Director of the FLIC. I need some way to pay the damn bills and unfortunately I don't think I'm good enough to do commissions...

Anyway, I digress...I had the interview with MagiQuest today and I think it went pretty well. MagiQuest is kind of like LARPing without with smell and MMO's without the 'tards and jerks. We have electronic wands that interact with the environment around us and you do missions with those wands based on a Clan that you pick when you get your wand. You can have as many wands as you want and it will save everything you've ever done on your wand. Honestly it will be pretty awesome to work with these guys because aside from helping players do the game, we also do birthdays and carnival or festival type events with photography, face-painting, and air brush tattoos...you get the idea lol. So here's hoping I get the job!

Also DraconicDreams, I am working on your kiriban. Your character is proving difficult for me lol I haven't drawn anyone like her before so thank you for being so patient in waiting for your kiriban!

Wow...first of all I hit 7,000 sometime today. You guys are awesome. I'm not doing anythin' special for 7,000 because well...I don't have the time honestly

I'm still trying to work out Draconic's kiriban...I'm terrible but I will have it done soon...hopefully after Valentine's.

My throat effin hurts man...I got my tonsils out on Thursday last week finally. Where they took them and my adnoids (or whatever the heck they are) it looks like Styrofoam now. I can still only manage super soft foods like yogurt and soup...I can't sip through straws at all TT^TT and I'm an uber straw drinker. So...now instead of taking one weekend to recover I have to take two.

Thats all for now. I have an Algebra exam to study for tomorrow morning. TT^TT

Dude if you guys have not seen Juno yet in theaters, you need to see it NAO. I really can't describe exactly what it was that made me love it

I loved how I could totally relate with everything in the movie. Juno reminded me of me (Devin said she did too

very weird) with how I was in high school. I was a bit of a social outcast I think even though I was under the impression I was friends with all the cliques in school

Pretty much not the case lol. I was friends with the weird kids, the theater kids and yet somehow I ended up with a jock as my future life partner XD (not the case for Juno but I'm just stating similarities). Juno's dad was kinda like mine with how their relationship was ~^^~ Me and my dad are very close.

But anyways, I digress...It was a really fresh movie to me. I just found out today that the director who did Juno also did Thank You For Smoking O.o. The vernacular had me captured and it wasn't so out there at older people couldn't understand what the hell the kids were talking about in the movie. Its awesome to go see with your parents! There is even minor cursing...they only say f*** once in the movie.

And the soundtrack is so very unique ~^^~ I'm listening to it right now. I highly recommend you guys go to either my Myspace (link below) so you can hear my fav song from the beginning or go to the movie's Myspace so you can hear samples from everything cuz Amazon's samples sucked...

I'm going to be quoting this movie forever XD

Avatar: The Firebending Masters Released In Canada!
I know that at least...5 of my watchers have voted in my poll that they don't really care that I post A:tLA news but this is for those that do lol.

Y!TV in Canada released The Firebending Masters at 8:30 last night and its already up on YouTube and Veoh. If your one of those people who want to wait until it comes out in America, be prepared to hold your breath. AvatarSpirit reported that Nick hasn't given out anything in the way of possible release dates even though they said it would be coming back in January after the holidays. Lame, Nick...very lame.

If you aren't one of those fans and want your new Avatar episodes NAO, go check out YouTube oR Veoh. I would trust Veoh due to the fact that Veoh has the rights to have the episodes up on their site and YouTube doesn't. The episode could or could not be there...

I'll just let you guys know that this ep is probably one of the best of the season. So not full of filler! I can't say more than that because I don't want to spoil it for you

First things first...who the HELL got my 6,000th hit? TT^TT I can't believe I missed it. My activity has been so down lately with school that I thought I wouldn't reach it till Christmas. Here you guys go, surprising me again~

Its completely customizable and there are so many different ways the story can go! Its like those pick your own adventure books from when I was a kid. Thats right kiddies! AvatarSpirit.net has released that the second volume of Book 3 will be release January 22nd, 2008. Gaze upon its splendor!

I found it on 4chan (thats right folks, 4chan.) only to find that AS released the news on the second of October. I need to lurk more on that site...

Anyways here's a quote for ya'll!

"The release date for the second DVD set for season three of Avatar has been announced by Nickelodeon and Paramount Home Entertainment. As *rufftoon mentioned in one of her recent journals and AS posted, she'll have four mini comics (just like in the last season's volumes) in each release (yays!). She has a preview posted there of the first comic.

Sadly, as I said before, I've been hanging around the /co/ boards on 4chan so the episode was slightly spoiled for me. I was expecting for it to be Katara even though I was slightly skeptical from the previews.

Sokka's little schedule was kinda funny. It looked like he ripped it from some ancient Avatar-world version of Excel XD...and when did he learn to play the flute man?!

Dock/Shu/Bushi guy?....yeah...um...

And I hate to say this, and I am a strong Kataang shipper and I am open to all ships but...IN YOUR FACE ZUTARA! XD At the sneak peak at Comic-con! You all thought she was talking about Zuko haha!

Anyway...back to the review...It was a good episode with the bending and I bet that the fact that they took out an apparently crucial factory will come back in later episodes. But...I think we could have gone with out it

OH...MY...GOD!

The season premier was everything I wanted it to be!... and everything I didn't want it to be

First things first...I want to end on a happy note so I'll get the things I didn't like out of the way.

WHAT was up with Katara's sudden attitude?! I mean if she was so understanding of what her father had to do for not just their tribe but for the WORLD then why was she being all bitchy to him? And there was no explanation for it either. The episode started and she was biting his head off when he started talking to Aang. Whew...I just hope that when the two of them are together again, it will be far more calmer.

And Aang...I understand the heavy responsibility it is to be the Avatar but all of a sudden he wants to do everything by himself? Its not like Sokka, Toph, or Katara were hurt protecting him. And Katara was right, just because they didn't succeed at Ba Sing Se doesn't mean that he failed as the Avatar completely...Aang suddenly...got all emo O.o At least it looks like he perks up a little bit in the next episode.

And Yue's sudden appearance...yeah...point of that? Seemed kinda I dunno campy.

Now for the good stuff OH MAN Toph's bending was freaking SWEET! And the uber waterbending! Katara could have sunken that Fire Nation ship if she REALLY wanted to! And finally Ozai's face! O.o I would have thought he would have been much older, at LEAST graying but at least we know what he looks like. YAY for Mark Hamill! His character has a face now!

Well I called this morning...like I was told by my boss to do when she came back from her business trio...and I was all excited. I told her I was feeling much better (because on 8th she asked me to take the time off to get over being sick.) and I was ready to go back to work whenever she needed me...and the woman has the

gall to tell me thats just not going to work out with my health problems! Since March I have only needed to

take off of work twice! Both

times were once at the end of May then at the beginning of June! I had

pneumonia and I worked while I had it!

Well first things first...my subscription is geting ready to run out on the 7th of May

. I'm gonna miss it if I can't give up 5 more bucks (gah I know it just five bucks but I'm gonna be a parent as of Saturday! see below). My fav thing is the thumbnails for pictures. It saves me a huge headache of sifting through all the people I watch

And The Winner Is...!
Devin and I have finally decided on a name for our Corgi...Rikki Tikki Tavi (yes as in the mongoose), Tikki (pronounced TEE-kii) will be her pet name ~^^~ Gadget was the second choice but it took so long for hte both of us to agree on just those two names.

So we bring our puppy home on Saturday morning and our day will be jam packed full of activities to tire her out so she won't cry in her crate when its time to go to sleep. The breeder has already started to put her in a little crate of her own so she can get used to it. Devin's mom is excited for her to come home and so are we!

The Big 20
Devin's 20th birthday is tomorrow but he got most of his presents today (aside form the corgi). Because we're going to get the dog, we aren't going out for the customary bday dinner...I'll try to make it up to him some how.

Mother Frakkin' Finals! (rant)
Yeah..that time of year has returned for all of us college students again. I've already taken two of my finals and I fear for my safety....I was convinced not to do my religion journals because the teacher likes me and I could get an extention. I didn't...oh well, I understood his reasoning in not letting me slide.

Japanese was horrible because I made the script all by myself, I didn't get to the school on time to practice a lot with my partners so come test time, they weren't prepared. They were more interested in goofing off instead of steady in the hour we had before class. I knew all my lines! *sigh* but needless to say, my grammar was terrible and the fact that the others didn't know what they were supposed to say hurt all three of us.

Plus I think my iPod was stolen...I don't want to tell anyone at home...

History and Sociology are the last two and then I'm finally free! We can sell our books to help pay for puppy and then I won't have a care in the world...It will get even better when I sell my Mercury and I get more hours at work...

*sigh* just 24 more hours...

We R Sweet!
I've had a new job since the beginning of March. I've left video rentals behind (f*** you Blockbuster!) and entered into the world of making sweets. Thats right I work at a candy shop called Canipes Candies and Chocolates now were I make chocolates, caramel apples and the like all day long. Its a nice job. I actually look FORWARD to going to work.

I was given a project to do as well after Easter. I need to design our Summer window display. Thank god for the Food Network. Its given me a few ideas. Any of you guys have some ideas of what kind of summery thing you'd wanna see in a candy shop window?

Well...a time when I thought I would be excited as hell has come. Our Pembroke Welsh corgi pup will be available to take home as soon as Easter Sunday...but Dev and I don't have the money to take our baby home.

The breeder is willing to either let us pay for half and she will hold our pup until May 15th at the latest or we pay about 500 and we can take her home and pay her the rest when we have it. This is the one thing Devin and I have wanted for 6 months...and now we can't get it.

I'm about to sell my jewelry and ipod...

And Devin's laptop crashed so if you're looking at my journal spinizuey, the Phedre and Alcuin drawing might take a longer time to color now.

Kitteh's piece was like the sun on a miserable day. The past few weeks I've had a terrible cough, I was tired all the time, and I could hardly breathe. So I caved, tired of suffering, and I went to the doctor (thankfully it was free). He diagnosed me with walking pnemonia. Greeeeeeat. Anyone else had to deal with it themselves or through others..cuz I don't know how I'm supposed to handle it. I got meds but should I be like sleeping a lot or what?

Whew...well so starts a new year and a new wave of attempts to get back into drawing and art.

Classes have started back up again. I have no money for books and no money for classes due the fact that my winter break at home was spent comforting my mother after the losses she had taken this year instead of getting her to help me file my loan. I'm also trying to help Danger Boy get back into Coastal and the school's not helping by asking for more and more money and more paperwork.

Plus, I'm getting reeeeeally sick of Blockbuster but this is the longest I have been with one company so it will be very hard for me to leave my job unless my boss stops lying to me. He tells me he doesn't have enough hours for me while everyone else in the store is working 5 days a week at 6 hours at least in a shift. Surely if this is the case then he could give me two or three days for a 6 or eight hour shifts right? God its really starting to piss me off.

Classes have started back up again. New House, New Problems
Well The Miller family has finally made its big move up the highway. Over the weekend the five of us moved into the new house. Two story, four bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms...lol like you wanna know

Danger Boy and my room looks so beautiful with all the furniture we got! I'll probably take pics and post them in my Scraps. I couldn't fit my Japanese rosewood chest in there tho *sadness* We'll figure out some way to keep it from being doomed to the attic or the closet.

Plus, the air in the house is so dry and smells like paint, I've had 3 nosebleeds since Saturday! TT^TT

BIRTHDAY!
Dude! My birthday is in 13 days! October 14th! Yay!

South Carolina!
Lol thanks to ~morbidjoke, I was reminded that I haven't posted a journal since before I moved! I'm sorry if I worried any of you (or didn't worry you

). Expect this to be a long entry.

The move was pretty smooth, a little bit more difficult to leave my parents than I thought

I started school on the 16th of August. I love college lol! But all those horror stories I heard of all the school work piling up has struck me

especially my art projects. Aside form that, its going well. I have a bunch of swag from Coastal now, my finacial aid has helped me pay for it XD.

Oh btw I had such a hard time getting the school and FAFSA talking to each other! I didn't think it was supposed to be that hard to get freakin money.

Losses
I was informed on the 22nd of August that my uncle died...it was hard for me to cope with that with all the stuff I was adapting to. But Danger Boy helped me pull through ~^^~. I didn't go to the funernal due to school and finances but I made my peace in my own way.

Well good news. Things have calmed down a bit

Well not really. My buddy who had the stroke and who's left leg is paralyzed is now living with me until next weekend. A whole very dramatic situation ensued that caused her, her buddy and her buddy's six week old baby to spend the night here. Its not my place to discuss it, but if I seem distracted, know that I'm too busy worrying over the baby to really care

Kay, I give in. I really really really loved having the baby in my house. And he took so easily to me! I got to take care of him while his mom dealt with the situation. TT^TT God I know better but at least having him around for the day satisfied my hunger for a little one.

I'm sooo going to get a picture of him when I can and post it here!

But because I was up all night with the three of them before we all passed out, I missed clogging. I hope Tray and everyone will understand.

College
I started my immunizations so I'm 2/3's of the way done with all the stuff I need to do to go to college.

Now I need to look into student loans. I might have been lazy or I dunno but I think I've missed the deadline to apply for FAFSA....shit.

I've had too much happen lately to tell you guys everything that's been going on so I'll give ya short list of recent events:

darn you! This will be hard to do because I don't think there's anything I haven't admitted about myself here already.

The 1st player of this "game" starts with the topic "6 weird habits/things/about yourself" and people who get tagged need to write a journal about their 6 weird habits/things as well as state this rule clearly. 1. In the winter, I sleep with socks on. Seriously, if my feet are cold it will take me that much longer to fall asleep!
2. I'm doomed to never take a shower shorter than 15 minutes. I've given myself too much to do while I'm in the shower (Danger Boy, get your mind out of the gutter)!
3. I will eat things that are usually supposed to be eaten with stuff by themselves (i.e. plain bagels, lunch meats, etc).
4. When I know a cool part in a movie is coming, this incredibly weird sound comes from me and I look like I'm having a seizure.
5. I will point out things that have absolutely no point in the current subject we're talking about. Yes...I am incredibly random if you haven't figured it out yet lol.
6. I zone when I drive if I don't give myself something to do (i.e. sing along to music, talk to someone, eat..).

I know I'm not a perfect driver but now I got written documentation.

I got into an accident on my way to work on Friday. An older dude in front of me suddenly stopped trying to turn into the gas station because a white utility van was on the wrong side of the entrance! I didn't have time to avoid hitting him and I was thankfully not going that fast so he just got a slight jolt and a dent in his bumper a little smaller than a football. Of course, all I got was residue on my bumper from the rubber step on his bumper and his Triple A sticker.

I FREAKED OUT. I'd never been in an accident before and was so scared, especially when the guy yelled at me to leave him the f*** alone. Called the cops, took them FOREVER to get there. I actually flagged down a cop that wasn't even called to the accident. I was relieved when he helped me figure out what I was supposed to do until he gave me a ticket for following too closely! WTF?!

My parents and co-workers assure me that it will be revoked for just showing up in court, especially since its my first offense. The officer said there won't be points taken from my license either...that doesn't make the fact that I got a ticket any better. Nevertheless, I go to court about a month from now, so I gotta ask for that day off. Oi...

Lots of stuff going on here on my end. My job at Blockbuster is working out really well (tho I'd certainly like to get more hours). I'll be going off to college soon in South Carolina (majoring in Foreign Language). I'll also be movin in with Danger Boy while I go to school ~^^~. Needless to say, I'm pretty excited.

Black and Blue Christmas
Despite my best intentions, the time before Christmas has gone down hill in a manner of hours. I suppose it best to express this here since the person my altercation was with doesn't bother to look at my deviantART page.

Somehow I pissed off my mother, whom I thought was finally starting to get better emotionally and psychologically. The first straw was her twisting my ankle underneath the last couch we had as we were moving it out of the house (it's swollen and black and blue now). Granted it hurt like a bitch so I screamed, cried, did everything imaginable to try to deal with it. After getting the couch out, I went back inside. My mom followed and soon after started crying, blubbering that she didn't mean to hurt me. Told her it was okay and I thought that would be the end of it.

Second straw, my mom rented couches from Rent-A-Center. I thought this was kinda stupid to rent couches with her smoking but then I thought the couches would be very expensive...Well the "couches" arrived. The movers were knocking on the door but my mom didn't hear them over the vaccum as she was cleaning the air filter. I answer, let em in and tell themwhere she'd want the couches. They bring them in...they're like a light sienna color and don't go with anything in the house. I ignore it...until my mom starts bitching that the two reclining ends were supposed to go together while the middle was suppsed to sit across from them...She didn't buy a couch and loveseat but one big freaking assembly...

So she's freakin' out that the salesman lied to her and getting pissy with the movers...I try to apologize to them for her behavior and she tells me to stop and shut up...*sighs* After the couch arrived, things escalated and I removed myself from the situation, not wanting to fight with her over some stupid piece of furnature.

Later in the evening she comes back, tossing mail items at me. A bank statement ("Even though you're still dependant on us, I know understand why they f***ing give you one.") and a singles ad-type letter ("Maybe you can find someone else to run to and f*** with.")

I ask her what else is going on and she walks away from me while I'm talking to her. Things esclates into "Why should I talk to you? I'm just some alcoholic."...Truth is her now constant smoking and drinking embarasses not only me but my younger brother, too. "We can't make her stop...only hope that she'll see what she's doing to herself and us," my dad said to me a few months ago about this...I told her straight up that it was embarassing...it hurt to tell her but I did...

I need to shut up about this now.

Danger Boy
Currently in the middle of the ocean on his way to Nassau. We've had problems trying to communicate over the waters...mainly because the cruise ship he's on charges 8 dollars a friggin' minute from ship to shore.

Good thing is he'll be back in the States on Friday and on his way home. As you can see I really miss him

Sorry I subjected y'all to my rants and such in this journal and in the past. I feel like people listen to me and care here.

There's plenty of sex in the media as it is but now we have to deal with it here! There is a difference between nudity as ART and PORN! Hell, just to see what all the fuss was about in the first place, I took a look at that particular gallery. About one out of 24 freakin' pictures might have been "art" worthy. The rest of them were just people showing off their asses, tits and genitals!!!

Its a shame because there were actually GOOD photos in that gallery but they were snuffed out by the sheer volume of pornographic type deviations.

And why the hell aren't the moderators - or whatever the feck the owners of this community are called - doing about it? Their putting crap up like this [link] and this [link] and calling it superb and beautiful.

I don't want to see another man's wanker or woman's breasts and genitals as a form of art when it isn't...

*sigh* Ok, now I got that out of my system...

Its freaking cold here in Virginia now! Fall seemed to last a total of 3 weeks...and it happened while I was in South Carolina for Thanksgiving!

Oh, well. I hope to God it snows around Christmas (but not until Danger Boy gets here. I don't want him driving in the snow around here) because the last "White Christmas" had was in 1999 around here. Last year it snowed the day after Christmas (thus trapping me an hour away from home in a foot of snow ). I'm hoping that it will be on the button this year or some time after it while Danger Boy is here for New Year's

It's the Most Frustrating Time of the Year!
Its the holiday season once again! Oi...at least I don't have to suffer it alone this time. I'm currently writing this journal from my boyfriend's laptop, in SC. I convinced my family to spend Thanksgiving with his family.

I was desperate not to spend all day cooking with my mom only for her to go to sleep before we ate aut because I'll be around my family as a whole, I came down early to spend time with Danger Boy on my own. So far I've had a great time...its always sad for me to go in the end...I really want to stay for good soon.

But anyways, I'm really looking forward to spending Thanksgiving the right way

Meanwhile..Back at the Ranch...
It's proving to be a museful event because I found the perfect song for my kiriban for Morbid and finished that for her birthday and.....My boyfriend revealed that he'll be taking me to this breath-taking botanical garden and a castle that is nearby the place. I ended up forgetting my sketchbook so Morbid's drawing and all the sketching I'll be doing will be in the brand new one he bought for me~

Well now my time as a subscribed member of deviantART is over.

It's sad and all the stuff I could do kinda makes me wish I could afford to get it. I'll miss it...but not that much After being a free person for so long, I've grown accustomed to it.

Well today is my mom's 40th birthday and I'm hoping I can make it special. I wanna make breakfast for her and do all sorts of chores. LOL She just wants me to clean my friggin' room XD

In less than a couple weeks, I get to go down to South Carolina to visit my boyfriend I can hardly wait! I miss him so much! My mother is giving me money for gas when I go...I just wanna worship her for that!

Well, even in my absence, cool (or odd) things still seem to happen to me. I get on deviantART today and this page pops up instead of my screen telling me I've accquired one week's free subscription... I dunno about you but that kinda freaks me out.

Don't worry! While I was gone I did do some art...sadly pretty much none of it is finished . Since I don't start school after Labor Day (or before like my bf is), I plan to work on this and get them scanned and posted for you all.

Speaking of my boyfriend...I miss him so much!! TT^TT I wish it was September 3rd already so I can drive down there and be with him for week....it really is a shame he starts college on Wenseday

Happy New Year!: Yay! today is the Chinese New Year! Happy Year of the Rooster everyone! I myself was born in the year of the Tiger rawr~ Odd that my bf was born in the year of the Rabbit. Oh Danger Boy!

School: My grades weren't as good as I wanted them to be. I failed one mid term and failed two classes for the 2nd nine weeks (and one for the semester). Pray I bring them back up because if I don't I lose my car for the rest of the semester TT^TT.

Kiriban - Ok so no one got my 2,222 kiriban. That's cool. However, quite randomly I got ~vangelisgenesis's 3,333 kiriban! Took me a while to figure out what I wanted. I hope she can do my request

Not too far from Christmas vacation! Aunt's coming down from Chicago this year so I get to stay in the comfort of my own toasty bed with my lovely new computer~ I got her perfume for Christmas, that Happy flavor from Clinque...Man am I glad I found alternatives to their products otherwise I'd be one poor ass girl.

Speaking of being poor...I spent my entire paycheck from work and my babysitting job on presents...I only got one thing for myself. Now I gotta dish out money for a SAT in January. Pray that I make the deadline...I dun wanna pay the extra 20 on top of the intial 20 for sign up. TT^TT.

I HAVE A KIRIBAN CHALLENGE! I've finally passed the 2,200 mark. Your challenge is to get 2,222 I'll draw a special pic of your choice and have it to you within a month of aqquiring the kiriban. Man..now I sound like an infomercial *twitch* But yeah. Good luck everyone!

A few of the artists here at DA (including ones I devstalk) have gone to Sheezy Art. Because they don't have nearly as many bars and rules (or agonizing steps for posting), I decided to try it out. I hope its a bit better than here but I have no intention of leaving until DA steps beyond my tolerance boundaries.

Stop banning arbitrarily.

Unless you have the balls to ban every OTHER sexually-themed gallery that you've consistantly missed and stop picking on one ring of people (and it's ONE RING OF PEOPLE, don't think I haven't noticed), just cut it out. Zero tolerance means all or nothing, darling, and I've realized you're quite off the mark. Spread out the pain, please, you're making the wrong people afraid and disbelieving of your message. I'm happy that once and a while you find an art ripper or two, or a no-good slanderer, but your efforts to quell gay-based artwork disturb me a wee bit. It's quite puritanical. I suggest a quick name-change to something less misleading than 'DeviantArt' if you'd rather adhere to your policies.

Yes, yes, I realize that blatant pornographical images are most likely something that no one wants to see. I'm okay with that. But...we have...a fetish gallery? Come now, isn't that a double-standard? This isn't, I'm aware, an everything-goes site. Your efforts to house so much wonderful art (and not so wonderful) are to be applauded. However, with a zero-tolerance policy, you have to be prepared to go to extremes: ban all sexual imagery period . You heard me. Ban it ALL. Obviously you don't wish to allow for it somehow, nor listen to suggestions on how to compromise, so go the distance. Walk the walk. If it looks sexy, ban it.

This would make the name change an absolute necessity, by the way.

I know me threatening to leave will do absolutely nothing for you, and frankly I like having some free advertisement. The symbiosis is not without reward. You're a huge site, there will be other shiretokos to flock to your shores, I know. But for a brief moment, I'll ignore my better judgement and assume that DA is hip-deep in civil, logical people who'd read this and go "well, damn, maybe there's a point to this...we'd better work on this some more".

So if polite confrontation means nothing on your radar (I suspect it doesn't) I'd like to offer this last thought: You're alienating a large amount of your most faithful group. A mass exodus will not harm you in the least, but the stigma it'll leave behind will.

Best of luck in your endeavors. I hope I won't have to serve divorce papers. If I do, you can keep the couch to sleep on.

Got this from ~mikata , recently peeved by the amount of banning that has been going on, particularly to yaoi artists. I sincerely agree. Why the heck do you call it "deviantART" if you bann devious things? You're gonna loose a lot of clientel dude to your recent homophobia.

October 14th-
Joyous day! I'll finally be hitting the big 1 8. I think I'll just have a regular party now..I wanted to have a skating party..but I can't really afford it and my schedule for work is so erractic..I can't be sure if I'll get the 15th off to party. Plus I have to work on my bday I get the feeling...none of my friends will remember.

Its down to the final hits on my page..for a little over a year I've been here and now I'm hitting my 2,000th hit!!! Just about 6 months ago I hit my thousandth so I'm pretty elated~ Whoever gets my 2,000th hit will get a special drawing. I need more motivation to draw!

Neko-con 7!-
This years Neko-con is rolling around and approaching quicker than I expected! I need to get to teh bank and get a money order thingus so I can get in my registration! I have a bunch of costumes to make too! TT^TT time to empty out my savings and checking to buy cloth!
