Ummm ummm. I got my busted-up scanner to work. I'll be posting some more work now that I don't have to worry too much about not pursuing my true self.

I realized lolita fashion was just clothing to me and I didn't care at all about the "lifestyle" the events, the time it took, because in my truest moments I'm just a nerdy otaku fatty who loves to lay around and be lazy and dress up in a magical fantasy world when I feel like it. In fact, my most comfortable moment was sitting around playing Left 4 Dead in a bigass DragonBall Z t-shirt, eating sandwiches, and living off of soda, not caring about a damned thing! Omg, I'm so crazy! Hehe...guys

I feel like drawing some boobs. A lot of them. No regrets. I think I'll just draw a page of boobs. Yep...man I love boobs LOL!

Recently I worked with an artist that goes by the name of Momo or Pattern Factory here on deviantart. Momo does excellent commissions, takes directions well, and was very refreshing to do business with. I personally did not pay in money though, hehe, I traded with her because she really loved the jewelry that I make.

Thank you for your support, everyone. I come back to DA after being gone for nearly a month or so without posting and I see that my inbox is full again! I'll try to get to everyone's messages, but it's difficult. I have commissions to do and many different artworks to catch up with.

Thank you for commissioning me to do art! It helped me while I was in between jobs and now that I have a new job at the library I'm doing a lot of reading and have a more stable income. Still not full-time, but part time is good for the moment. I revamped my room setup and threw out a bunch of stupid things like props that would never see the light of day (Old master sword, etc)

For anyone who hasn't gotten their commissions shipped to them yet : They're on their way. When the power was off during the hurricane I noticed that some of the paint on props has melted a bit (AUuuuuuugh Houston) and it even melted some of my Hello Kitty figurines. So I have to strip paint all off AGAIN and redo. D: My life = silly.

I'm into Sweet Lolita fashion now so I think after I make some outfits I'll submit photos to DA? Would that be cool with everyone? Not many drawings, but some photos too? XD I know you will say no lol.

October 11th was Zachary's birthday. I had a really terrible cold, but I made sure to drug myself up good the day before and the actual day. I was really excited about the little party I put together so I couldn't sleep. I was up at 2am and at 10:45 when Zachary came to pick me up he could see I was a bit worn out. I made 25 chocolate cupcakes and even bolted back to the grocery store to get more mix for some white cake ones. In the end I made over 50 cupcakes with the best ones being the light white icing on white cake. The triple chocolate with cream cheese icing was alright, but I love white cake. I gave him his first bday present! I put it in a Wall-E bag and it was Wall-E stuff. I even made a Wall-E container for him to put stuff in. He opens at the front. During the day we went out to Phoenicia's Speciality Foods and checked it out. There were so many neat world foods there, but I was mostly interested in the bakery and the exotic tea and soaps. I would love to smell like Jasmine and Lavender all the time!

Not realizing that Planet Zero arcade was right next door we drove off the in opposite direction in search of it. XD Then we turned around (20 minutes later) and discovered it's location. There Zachary and I played some Bullet Hell shooters, many rounds of Arcana Heart 2 (I kicked his ass LOLOLOL) and Gunstrike (a Capcom Beat-Em-Up shooter featuring guest characters such as Megaman and BB Hood)

Street Fighter IV looks so goddamn beautiful in person and I'm glad that Planet Zero has the game featured on the projection screen. I also got to try some delicious Dango that one of the workers made. Para Para Freestyle is fun when you don't use your hands. Zach lol'd a bunch.

After we played games for like an hour (or longer I can't remember) we picked up Robert for the party. Night and Rei and Megumi and Omni were there. All of us went out for pizza buffet whee. Afterwards we played Raving Rabbids, Wario Ware on the Wii and Karaoke Revolution/Sing Star on the PS2. Also got to play some video games on the computer. I made Wall-E themed cupcakes because it's Zach's new favorite character. The cupcakes were white and yellow for EVE and WALL-E. Everyone loved the cupcakes Shedrick came over later and joined in on the fun. I remember drinking a lot of soda, doing very bad Karaoke because my voice was going away and going nuts with a NERF Maverick and shooting the framed paintings. Marverick Russian Roulette lulz and moar. Went and ate at Floyd's Seafood House in Webster. The Cajun food was alright, but I'd have to say I loved the shrimp! *brain scattered* Drove a little further to Texas City and took in the beauty of that place. It is a whole 'nother world when the flora and fauna begin to change. Further up, drove to the Kemah Boardwalk, since I was very eager to see the ocean. Got a glimpse of it from the second floor of Babins. Sad sight that most of the Boardwalk was messed up. A lot of little places destroyed and damaged in the surrounding area as well.

Stopped at the Walmart in Kemah, though. Got some mint gingham at Walmart. I also found lots of Rainbow Jewelry! The rainbow bits are going towards my Rainbow Brite costume. I have decided that I am going to do Rainbow Brite for the night of Halloween and Ms. Frizzle while I'm at work.

So lovely being with Zachary this weekend!! I'm glad he had a happy birthday! He seemed sooooo happy to get my WALL-E presents and be with some of his friends. His new haircut was cute too XD Rei, you and I need to meet up for making stuffs for Onicon, though. And you totally need to get an art table *shakes fist*

Some people seem to think that because I am doing commissions now, I am going to stop updating my deviantart. Is there something wrong with offering a commission service in case you want a commission? I have had many people inquire about it so I posted very low prices for if people do want commissions, they can get them. I see that because I offer this service everyone runs away from me. *laugh* It's rather the opposite reaction, I thought I was doing good. Oh well :/

I'm not forcing anyone to buy stuff...did I violate someones rights today? I'm feeling a whole lot of hate lately, for something so simple. It has been a rough two weeks when the power was off and my city was thrown all apart. All in all, I've been swamped with work and school, finding very little time to devote myself to art all of the time. Hard to resume what I'm doing after all this...honestly my room is a mess here, I've been cleaning but with two weeks of my life just at a standstill from the hurricane stuff sucks.

You could commission your favorite character, original character, love of your life, or Gaia character, it's up to you! I love drawing all sorts of different characters and this is a way to get your ideas out on paper and help me with my portfolio and finances all at once! Since this is my first time offering commissions I have my prices very cheap.

If you buy more than one at a time, you get two dollars off your commission (Any type that is 10 dollars and higher). Anything that costs $30 and up gets a free print of the work mailed to them

Guess what everyone...Centerpoint Energy LIES like fools. According to them, our power in our neighborhood would be restored last Monday...only then it was to be last Tuesday. Then Thursday...then today. Now I have gotten word that the power will be restored Wednesday. Should I believe them?

Yeah, I'll believe em, but I'll probably be ;__; when I realize it's a bunch of hopeful for nothing.

This weekend was fun though! I got to hang out with Zachary and we got to shop and get a lot of neat stuff. Finally got the Gothic & Lolita Bible (A Japanese fashion magazine that has been translated into English) Volume 2 and 3, got to eat lots of deliciously evil foods, surfed the net, acquired adorable fabrics like musical and rose prints, and got about five new sewing patterns. Time to work on cute skirts skirts skirts! Mmm and Zachary and I had dinner at TGIFridays...

XD Too bad I'm going back home to no power *flail* I was enjoying the air conditioner and lights so much. At least I have a generator, but I'm getting SO behind in class because I can't sew at home. I have to go to friend's houses...and darn it my friends live SO far away.

So going home to no power, but I had a fabulous weekend so I really *can't* complain. Nachos, lolita shoppins, new magazines, mah friends, sewings, American Psycho = its all good!

UPDATE: It's going to be a while before I am able to go through all of these messages. According to Centerpoint, I will have power tonight or tomorrow. Here's hoping. Grocery stores are opening up and power is being restored all over. Funny thing, I won't know when the power is up and running in my 'hood because we have the generator going directly into our house XD


I have a few pieces that I need to scan once the power gets back. Right now I'm using the computer at school.

A lot of them feature video game girls...that's not too big of a hint, is it? I also completed about 6 requests so expect those too. Can't wait to go home and sweat in front of a fan for another night blegh. At least I get to use a lamp and draw at night again. The good thing about all of this, is that I sleep for like....a nice amount of hours instead of staying up all night to draw. Kinda hard to draw with little light. I cleaned my room a bunch

UPDATE: Kyandi is safe, update via boyfriend,

First of all I am safe, I survived. We only have so much food here, yet a grocery store opened up. Over half of the city is without power. I have no power but I got to go to the grocery store. We have a few things running on generator power like the refrigerator, the freezer, a small television for updates from the news. Gas is scarce and so is water. Feeling a bit dehydrated and FEMA is not doing enough for those who are much worse off. I am in Houston but Galveston, our sister city, has been declared unlivable and the remaining people have been ordered off by ferry and bus. Phone lines are down for most homes, cell phone connection is up, water is no longer contaminated. Cerfew in effect. Many places off limits. School's still closed. Streets still not safe. Live powerlines around and trees still could fall. Some are falling still and telephone poles. People remain relatively calm. No traffic signals make for an exciting drive!

I got photos of my neighborhood and the surrounding areas. Lots of trees uprooted, downed powerlines, and hanging wires. Luckily I was with Dad and his Toyota 4 runner.

Overall Houston is screwed, for a while. Billboards are on the highway, houses torn down, people walking aimlessly, many confirmed dead in Galveston, and all sorts of terrible things. Since I am relaying this with telephone someone with internet do a google search on hurricane Ike, Houston, Galveston, and keep up with the news.

Was notified that it may be 2 or 3 weeks without power. Hopefully much sooner. School opens up on monday. Continue to be safe and see you later.

If I don't post for a while it's probably because a monstrous storm known as IKE is going to be tearing my city's ass apart. I know for sure the winds will knock out the power from anywhere to 3 days to 1 week. No telling how the damage will be, but I am not in an evacuation area, but not too far away from one. I'm a little worried, very antsy seeing as how it's unnerving that I can't look out my window without seeing plywood boards. My family and I went out to eat tonight together and we picked up some alcohol. Needless to say, we may need it for our nerves. It's so quiet, so that's the most disturbing part. I live near an airport, so I'm used to hearing the planes all the time. There is always a bustle but now the calm of the storm has gotten me on edge. As soon as I got off the phone with my friend Pancakes, I start to panic. I can't get ahold of Zachary, who is having to stay in an extended stay place, because his house is currently being repaired (all of the flooring must be torn up and more craziness)

We have enough supplies for few weeks, gas in all three of our vehicles, the outdoor furniture tied down and put away. I need to bring in all of my costume stuff thats out in bins outside so it wont get blown away. What worries me the most is that there is a very large tree limb right above my room so if the wind picks up I will have to leave my room to the central area of the house. Just typing this is putting my nerves on end. I think I'll have a slice of cake and a cup of tea before I faint. XD

Edit 060908 Here is the skirt, wig, tie with tie clips, base shoes for the boots, and belt. I like how it's looking so far, but I'm going to remake the skirt. It was my first pleated skirt and it looks amazing, but it's longer than I'd like it to be. I had to raise it up higher for these photos. Sadly, I got sick a few days ago, so I could not attend the convention that I was a guest at. Megumi and Omni are attending without me, so this is good. ;__;

Trying...to...focus...on making my Vocaloid cosplay. I'm working on finishing up the sleeves right now. The serger did not want to do what I wanted it to do, but after bitch-shlappin' it around I got it to do my bidding. Muaha!

Two days left in my 88-celebration month, and I'm like...passing out or trying to keep working on my cosplay. The cosplay is more important, because it has to be perfect since I'll be wearing it at Realmscon as a cosplay judge. XD I still have five more drawings to post XD Chuuu~~ I shouldn't have stayed up playing video games with Zachary, but Persona 3 FES is so much fun.

Kiriban Status I am working on all three pieces. I liked to do the Summon Knight one first, so I did that. Need to scan it, ink and color.

Secondly...GOOD NEWS!! School's out for about four weeks. Tropical storm came and ran. Forecast for next week is rain rain rain, so some inside things will be needed. I have my Vocaloid costume to work on and a bunch of cosplay commissions that need love (but commissions are for outdoors, so they cannot be tended to atm ;___

I'm currently getting over my lack of sleep for the last three days. Finished my project for draping. I'd post photos of it, but it's zipped up in a 'body bag' and not here Sleep will be happening. Again, no real updates art-wise for a while. Yami and I will be making some "secret costumes" next week and possibly have a photoshoot the following weekend depending on things.

Thanks for everyone's support, lately. You have answered a bunch of questions, and I'm going to be taking a week break from art, until I get my stuff for class finished up. I might scan some journal pages...

I am currently working on my Queen of Hearts outfit for my draping class. It consists of a bustier, a flounce skirt, and an under shirt. I hope when I complete it, it fits on the mannequin or it's going to suuuuck LOL. I also have a bunch of other finals stuff during the weekend to complete.

I also can't seem to find any of my .5 pencil lead >w< I'm making a Queen of Hearts bustier and coordinating outfit for my Draping class. RULES AND INFO ABOUT FREE REQUESTS

1. I will not take all requests. Some requests fall into COMMISSION status. If I refuse to do a request, it is because it is too complex. You can commission it though.
2. Please make requests politely. If you can, please send me a note with character references after you have made the request. If you continue to pester me about your request that you made, I will abandon it. I'm doing this for fun. Not to be irritated.
3. I do not take original characters (OCs) UNLESS I really like the design. If you would like, you can COMMISSION a drawing of your OC in AUGUST. COMMISSIONS ARE NOT OPEN YET. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A REQUEST FOR A COMMISSION
4. I do not work on requests in order that they are received. I work on them in order of simplicity or desire. If it's something I really like, I'll work on it first.
5. Due to the amount of requests I received last month, I will only be taking a limited amount. Keep in mind that this month's requests will not be complete until the following month.
6. I will post preliminary sketches of the request in the form of a note to make sure that your idea is being portrayed clearly.
7. Whatever you request may be possibly sold as a completed piece at a future convention or online. When you COMMISSION something, this piece is solely yours and yours only. If you REALLY wanna inquire about a commission, please note me.
8. If the request has more than three characters in it, then it will count as a COMMISSION. All inquiries about commissions should be made in the form of a NOTE
9. GAIA avatars will NOT be done as requests.
10. I do not want to see ANY alterations of these pieces. It is a REQUEST. You do NOT have rights to change my work in any form.
