It would appear that I have found a new happy place, and this place exists where I do pictures for the characters in my local Dungeons and Dragons campaign. It makes me want to squeal with happies!

My dear friend HollowKonpaku was being pokey about finishing up her sketches of characters, so a couple of us confiscated her pictures while she wasn't watching and scanned them off real quick. Alas, she caught us anyway. I still took one copy home and inked in the major lines, drawing in the parts that needed finishing up. Then I colored it! Whee!!! It was so fun! So now I have a lovely picture to post up here on deviantART. Better yet, she liked it so much that we had a drawing/coloring party and now have a few new drawings to color in along with the old ones (now finished). I love D&D and my deviant friends in the campaign with me (HollowKonpaku and EbonyAddict).

Well, anyhow, this has just become a delicious new pastime, and I sincerely hope for more.

Oh, how it's been too long! I started this account at the beginning of spring last year and became too overwhelmed with school to do much else with it. Then I worked for the summer and it never occurred to me to update my pictures.

But now is the time for rejuvenation! After all, it is the midst of winter and soon will be Break. Plus, there's the whole rebirth thing with Yule and all of the holiday tidings!

And so, with the advent of a college painting class to kick my butt into gear, I bring you new pictures!

Well, as being a new member of deviantART I am driving myself crazy trying to make an avatar picture to the required specifications. I CAN'T make it work! All the pictures I've tried to shrink down that far cease to be discernable, AND they're still not down to 15 KB. Oh, well.

And living down south is messing with my mind. I see all of these robins and mourning doves everywhere, and my mind tells me that it must be close to spring. But it's NOT! Then I get sad thinking how long it will be before the weather warms up and I have real sunlight again. I do love birds, but they are giving me a false sense of hope. Aren't they supposed to migrate further south than Georgia?

But on the bright side, my birthday is coming up this weekend! I intend with every particle of my being to go out and buy myself a cake! I may not have any family here, but I WILL have myself an itty bitty birthday celebration.

Anywhoos, I suppose I could brighten up my life by posting more sunny and bright-colored pictures. Perhaps I shall do so.
