I've moved.

My new account. I recently decided to move, give myself a fresh start and get away from the old art here. I'm going to college for VCD (Graphic Design) and I will be drawing more, so that account should be updated quite often with projects I'm doing, and other things.

So yeah, I really am nervous. I got asked to go to homecoming at Sasha's school by her, and I've never been to a dance before, and I'm really really nervous. I'm afraid I'll let her down X_x; and any of you who even pretend to know me should know that for me letting someone down hurts, bad. Also afraid of groups, and yeah.

Last night I heard about their homecoming game (played against my school). They lost 52-7, so there's gonna be some hostility if I wear my letter jacket like she wants me to. *sigh* And I'm probably going to be forced to go to prom by one of my friends this year. Thats going to be fun since I've never been in a tux.

I also have been feeling bad because I'm an empath, and there's lots of emotion at school. I did have a shell, but that disappeared this summer, so now I feel horrible most of the time, specially when I don't get to talk to Adri or .

Oh well.

I'll probably update after the dance to let you know how bad I messed up.

Oh yeah, I sprained my ankle a few weeks back, then someone kicked me in my foot and my ankle's hurting again X_x;

Now, as the title suggests, I've gotten bored into taking the 100 Picture challenge, which I stole from, and

And for those of you who care about the pathetic thing I call a life: School gets out on the 25th, and I'm not looking forward to the last week, especially in art (cleaning/inventory and final) and I'm somewhat afraid of walking away with a D in my precalc/trig class (which I got because I can't take tests well, I flush everything).

I've had a girlfriend, but we broke up (won't go into that). I'm going through lifeguard training, and I have to miss the graduation party of my role-model on the swim team because of the training.

I get a week off from school and get to go to swim camp, which isn't good since I haven't swam in like a month or more. Right after that I'm going to visit then I come back and go down to Texas for a vacation.

Oh, and I got a DS. . .and Pearl. As soon as I can save up to buy me a wifi adapter to shove into my computer then I'll gladly play against anyone that wants it, though I'm not that strong

Now that featuring is over, here's the things going on in my life. State was Friday, and our relay team didn't get to go to state. We did get a personal best in our relay, I believe, though my backstroke was only a 30.8, which I feel is slow considering most of the other people in the meet were swimming the 50 back in atleast 29. Our butterflier went ahead to win the consolation heat (though technically he got 6th). He also got 9th in the 50 yard freestyle, and this is in the whole state.

Also going through and artist's block, so if someone wants to do a trade or sommat let me know, thats bound to help my muse get going.

And useless information: and I have finally made our guild on Guild Wars, Protectors of a New [Dawn]. We're small still, only 3 members, but if any guild wars people wanna join you're welcome ^-^

Now that featuring is over I shall complain! Mainly about the fact that I don't want to go to state this friday. I've only got one event, and personally I don't feel I am good enough to be at state. Though, if I remember correctly our team is going seeded 15th in the state, so 15th fastest 200 medely relay team in the state of nebraska (medely relay is 50 yards (down and back) of each stroke, backstroke, breast stroke, butterfly, and freestyle) At the end of metro 2 weeks ago we were still above auto qualifying time for state, and I don't think I should be the one representing my school in the backstroke portion of this race.

I just felt that I should tell everyone whats going on around here, since I haven't been submitting much lately. Right now I'm in the final stretches of swim season, two more weeks until its over, and I've been living in the pool, everything is being pushed out of the way for it, even school work and stuff, so I'm having to work into the night on that. Because of that my art has suffered.

Right now I'm the sole 500 yard freestyle person on the team, so I have a lot expected of me, and I've made it plain to everyone that I plan on taking the record, which means dropping 18 seconds off of my 5:37 swim. I know this is probably making no sense to anyone that doesn't know swimming or me. Now that I look at my wish to take the record I know that I will have a plateau, a point where I can't get any faster, and I'm really afraid to hit that point. I can't really say this to anyone because they'll tell me that I can do it.

I've also noticed as time has gone by that I have a great fear, one that I never expected to have. For some reason I reallyreallyreally don't want to be forgotten when I die, I want to leave an impression, hopefully good. I want people to know my name, and I don't mean be a movie star or something, I mean like an artist, cause most artists are remembered long after their death.

Yeah, I'm rambling now, so I'll end this. All I've left is to say that I got a bronze key, I think, in a scholastic art contest. Thankyou if you've actually read this, and feel free to say hi.

1- I'm a swimmer. but I find it extremely redundant and, during practice, boring.

So I got the lettr saying that the picture of the fountain that I did won third place in the art contest it was for in the 15-18 year oldcategory. This nets me $50, which is a nice chunk of cash to me. It also gets me a free dinner and I also get to watch it be auctioned off.

I'll put this in too: I'm sorry I haven't been submitting much lately, my muse has been raped and left on a street corner to die by school. There is a pic that I've been working on that I should be submitting soon. Hopefully. Its only taken me 14 hours so far to do, and I'm about 2/3 of the way done with it.

First it seemed normal enough, trying not to get mauled for my birthday. Then during my First hour (Geography) an office person came up with a note and a sucker, and said my counselor sent it for me for my birthday. Then the teacher proceeded to make everyone sing happy birthday to me. By the end of it I was laughing with embarrasment and bright red according to my friend Whit.

Then at lunch some people found out, I got mauled by like 4 different friends, but a couple hugs, so they balance out.

Then after lunch was gym and my friend Josh needed to borrow my North hoodie for extra credit or something, soe he actually was wearing my north gear (which right now is like coated in cat/dog hair) and we kinda doubted it would fit him anyway, but it did. So I ended up with his light blue jacket while he had my hoodie.

All in all today was actually really nice. I CAN GET MY LEARNERS PERMIT NOW! FINALLY!

Thats all really, unless anyone wants to do an art trade, I really need something to draw.

'Day of Silence'
'Please understand my reasons for not speaking today. I am participating in the Day of Silence, a national youth movement protesting the silence faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people, and their allies. My deliberate silence echoes that silence, which is caused by harassment, prejudice and discrimination. I belive that ending the silence is the first step toward fighting these injustices. Think about the voices you are not hearing today. What are you going to do to end the silence?'

I believe that this is a good cause, and should be supported. I was proud to do this (though it was kind of spur of the moment) and like 12-13 of the 15 or so people I hang out with in the mornings participated in the Day of Silence. So did about a third of the school (though I'm not sure how many meant it or anything). What I did not like, though was how the people who took the day of silence thing acted. About half of them walked up to the kids who took it and laughed at them. Some even went so far as to call us gay, bisexual, lesbian, transgender, etc. I think that they just show their immaturity.

So I managed to go more than 8 hours without saying more than 10 words. They clearly stated, though, that we had to participate in class if we were asked, and I rarely am. The only words I said I had to: 'End the War' (Part of a skit about the New Left in history), 'Cheetoes' (Because I was hungry at lunch, and you have to buy the food for a dollar from the lunch people because they turn off the vending machines at lunch time (where you can get it for 85 cents)), and 'Mom, I'm home' (To let my mom know I'm home because she wants me to do that).

So, yeah, there's the reason why I journaled. I also appologize for not paying attention to my comment thing on the main page, I rarely scroll down that far, though, I will try to do it more in the future. I hope you all find this a richeous (spelling?) cause and don't criticize me too much for doing this. (Forgot to say this earlier, but like 5 of my friends are bisexual, and most of them admit it)

Note: Just because I participated in this event doesn't mean I am gay, bisexual, transgender, or lesbian (when I say this I mean a girl liking other girls). Now that is all I have to say.
