And yes, before you ask, I was good. Not a single sproglet landed in the tide. The photocopier however, is a different story altogether

Anyway, we took a tour around Vanuatu, New Caledonia and Noumea, then another to Whitsunday Isl, Cairns (and stayed overnight because of rough seas that kept us from going to Port Douglas) and a sail-past Willis Isl, populated by birds, trees, and two meteorologists.

All in all, t'was a fun experience (aside from a few attacks of seasickness) and who knows, I might even do it again some time. But I'm quite glad to be home.

So far the police and the military have turned Waiouru upside down and found nothing. It's altogether possible that they're not even in the country anymore. If anyone hears anything about them, please, let the nearest NZ Consulate know, and pass the message on.

Those medals were earned by the blood and courage of New Zealand soldiers. They're our history. And we need them back.

Spread the word. The more people who know about this, the greater chance that somebody will hear or see something and tell the authorities about it.

Except the last wedding I was at was several years ago and I wasn't paying much attention.

So, this question is directed to all whom have been either a bride, groom, best man, maid of honour, bride's maid, groom's man or know and have had a good long talk with the in-laws and have a fair idea of what it's like to be the mother of the bride and father of the groom.

Can you tell me what it's like? Feelings, reactions, the best man's/various relllies' speeches, drunken speeches, worst fears on the day, the little details that itch at you, what you pray will or will not happen, did something itch, if there was a mysterious panic induced rash, any pranks that might have happened, if the suit was too tight or some other last minute catastrophy that might occur.

1- I have been known on occasion to hold a 'conversation' with one or more OCs while writing
2- Ex-trekkie, 'nuff said
3- I love chewing on liquorice root, as in the actual root from the plant
4- It is very hard for me to go to sleep and stay asleep if there's any light in the room
