I'm doing my first contest! After many months of doing pairings with Thomas and anime characters, notably my favorite anime character of all Lettuce from Tokyo Mew Mew and my favorite engine Edward the Blue Engine, the theme for my 1st contest will be based on that. The theme is a Thomas-Anime Contest, meaning all of you willing to participate must do a pic of your favorite Thomas the Tank Engine character with your favorite anime character in anyway you want.
Thomas characters can be regular or human. However, I prefer the characters be from the TV series.
You can't do anything mature/DA blocked worthy.
It has to be freshly done.
It will be judged on creativity.
Deadline is Christmas day (Best you get it done before that :3).
Note me when you have a deviation for the contest done. If anyone wishes to help be judge, note me.

10) Sailor Moon - Probably the most classic and substantial anime in world history. I first remember watching it on some cartoon channel, can't remember which, but it was a very exciting series. It was probably the first anime I ever watched.

9)World's Wildest Police Videos - Another thing I remember well from youth, don't know why my parents restrained me from watching it when I learned it was rated TV-14. Gotta remember all the car crashes and police chases, plus John Bunnel's legendary narration. Season 1 was the best of it.

8)Bakugan - Like Chowder, it's certainly one of the better shows on Cartoon Network right now. Another popular strategy of gaming like Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon. Yet, it has a more romance story behind it, too, whereas the other ones tend to show no romance. Dan and Runo make a nice couple.

7)Tokyo Mew Mew/Mew Mew Power - Although it may seem like a copycat of Sailor Moon, it's rather relevant to what Earth is today and of what can be done if we think things through for the better of our world. I think it was good to add some romance and humor to the story of the girls who fight to keep Earth safe from it's own demise and aliens. Bridget/Lettuce also remains one of my top 5 favorite cartoon characters. Like Sailor Moon, I remember watching it at a young age, when it was on 4Kids.

6)Seinfeld - Classic, classic comedy. Can't go wrong with Jerry's humor. Kramer and Newman were the best! Newman's actor also did Mr. Blik in Catscratch, which I still like. My parents still enjoy this show, too.

5)Drake & Josh - You'd be have to be more crazy than Crazy Steve to not enjoy it! I loved it, Josh's lines are some of my favorite catchphrases and I did like the music Drake did on the show. Crazy Steve rocked, too! A home run for Nickelodeon.

4)Pokemon - Yet another icon of the anime world and of the gaming universe. One of the longest running ones, too. I guess everyone has to like one Pokemon, and it's a very friendly, lesson learning series. (I heart Eevee :D) I kind of wish romance was a more important matter in the series, especially when May was the star in the series.

3)Spongebob Squarepants - -As David Hasselholf said "He brings a smile to everyone's face." Spongebob is the absolute best on Nickelodeon and one of the most creative cartoons in America. I can't count how many times my family has also got a kick out of his show. God bless Stephen Hillenburg!

2)Thomas the Tank Engine - Best kids show EVER! PERIOD! I loved trains since age 1. You can't go wrong with trains that talk and have their own magical island away from the pressures we deal with everyday. It's truly the place where dreams can come true. I think it was the best out of it, Jay Jay, Theodore and Tugs. Mike O' Donnel & Jr. Campbell's music is just as evocative and lovable. I hope they live forever, at least 100 years. Give all our hopes and thanks to Rev.W.Awdry family and Britt Allcroft.

1)Wild West Tech - Okay, it was hard choosing between this and Thomas, I think it's a tie. The show speculates my favorite part in American history, and I've learned a lot from it. Gun battles, horses, railroading: what more could a boy want? Another thing to like is that trains appear in nearly EVERY episode, Native Americans, Train Tech (of course), Disasters, Revenge, Cowboys, even Brothels! The music was great, too, probably the best theme music I've ever heard. Rest in peace David Carradine, and god bless his brother, Keith.

Tokyo Mew Mew/Mew Mew Power's Lettuce/Bridget's voice actress, Bella Hudson, I loved and stood with.
I would like to hear all your opinions so I could express my opinions in my future stories starring Edward, and Bridget, including the one I completed already: Determination.

My parents are becoming antsy because the big holidays are coming, notably Halloween.
Speaking of parents, my mom wants me to cut down on buying expensive trains, mostly she's frusterated on how many locomotives I have. I decided to get a few more inexpensive engines (Lionel #785 Hudson and MPC Blue Comet) and stick to getting cars, track and accessories, considering I need more of those.
Most importantly, some of my DeviantArt friends owe me some things, but through all this, I've been able to keep my cool, somewhat.

Why?
Mainly because the big news is Thomas is getting his own voice. Mostly it's the buzz for the movie Hero of the Rails. They also did a brief history on how Thomas started as books in Great Britain and of how the TV series started, including a look at the narrators: Ringo Starr, George Carlin, Alec Baldwin, and Pierce Brosnan. Not to mention the big impact of the Thomas toys that sell by the millions. Good Morning America says Thomas is as much an American icon as the Jonas Brothers, the Beatles, and even Miley Cyrus!
It's very interesting how they also did an interview with Thomas of what things will be like now that the series will be animated and that everyone will have their own voice in the series. Us Thomas fans will have to see how well Thomas is received in the next years.

10: Hot Rod - Full of random comedy and practical violence.

9: Princess Bride - Great action and drama for story from the past. Loved Mandy Patinkin the most.

8: Paul Blart Mall Cop - A hilarious movie that has laughs in almost every scene. Kevin James did a great job.

7: Madagascar - Classic 21st century animated movie filled with friendship and snappy music.

6: Simpson's Movie - Laughed so much I watched it 5 times before it came to video. D'OH!

5: Polar Express - Classic Christmas book, classic Christmas movie. Tom Hanks outdid himself in this movie.

4: Cars - Best of all the Pixar movie's in my POV. Rest in peace George Carlin and Paul Newman.

3: Spongebob Squarepants Movie - Definitely followed in the original Spongebob tradition and was a great inspiration to kids.

2: Pokemon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea - The best of the Pokemon movies in my opinion. Lots of magic, charm, and love. Advanceshipping is all around in this.

1: Thomas and the Magic Railroad - Don't care what everyone else says, this is the best of them all. Followed as best as possible in Thomas' original tradition and made a shout out to all the little people around the world. Eddie Glen was a good choice for Thomas' voice and Alec Baldwin, Peter Fonda, and Mara Wilson were great actors.

That's it for my top ten and would love to here what your favorites were and why.

Kelly's Harbor Adventure story will be back on track, and my fanfic, Determination, on Edward and Lettuce will be as long and intricate as possible.

For all those toy train enthusiasts, do you know how design a layout under a Christmas tree? My specs are that it has 2 trains running, have space for Dept. 56 buildings, and be easy to handle, operate, and modify inf neccasary.

Other than that, I'm planning on giving my crush some nice gifts. DeviantArt friends will also recieve some nice surprises. My new Thomas human couples will be out soon, and so will some BBxRae, Lionel, and group Christmas pic. Expect great things soon! Hope all my friends will have happy holidays this year!

The #497 coaling station has been my first gift and is a great lionel accesory. In addition, the new Spongebob season 5 DVD set is great, too.
