Most likely I'll keep this account and eventually I'll clean it up. Most of the art work will be thrown away, and I'll prolly make this a permenant writing account for all the fun little short stories that pop into my head.

I plan on creating yet a THIRD account that will be purly for stock photos. But as many of you may know, I'm a procrastinator and so we'll see how that goes when the mood finally strikes me.

Ok, so not only is she an absolutely awesome manga artist, but she has the best kissing tutorials ever! (And not it's not just useful for artists either!)

How I found her:
I wanted to draw a couple kissing... ok. I wanted to draw me kissing my crush. But I couldn't make it look right. So I started to browse DA for good pictures of people kissing, and then BOOM! There was this tutorial on the first (or maybe the second) page. Anywho, it really belongs as the first, because it's just that damn good!!

Now granted, there are tons of totally awesome artists on DA that I've run across and I don't normally rave about them like this. This one though, wow. She actaully read the comment I wrote on her kissing tutorial, responded to it, and then followed through with my request for a "where to put hands while kissing" tutorial. How many artists on DA do that now a days?? All the good ones are like "Yeah sure! That'll be $5000.00!"

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:

Knowing when to come in out of the rain;
Why the early bird gets the worm;
Life isn't always fair; and Maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but
overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6 -year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or a band-aid to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and planned to have a medical procedure.

Common Sense lost the will to live as churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason.

He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on.

If not, join the majority and do nothing.

So after a chiropratic adjustment, and a massage from a professional massage therapist.. Cherokee is doing much better. However, both people gave us homework, and we're looking at a new saddle.

Dr. Froeling the chiropracter/accupunturist/vet gave me a list of stretches that have to be done everyday... Carrot stretches with the opposite front leg held hoof to belly, 10 tail pulls in each dirrection, and what she calls the "scissors" on her withers followed by getting her to bring her back up. She also said that miss mare is a tad over weight and it may be due to the fact that she's part draft, something about insulin. So she's getting put on flax seed to help boost her metabolism, and she needs 30-45 minutes of "aerobic" work out at least 3 times a week. Aerobic being fast walk/trot.

So then... Joan the massage therapist took a look at her and found she has inflamation in her back, and called it a "cold in her muscles." So in addition to all the loosening up she did, she also used some herbal remidies on her spine to encourage her system to flush out what ever was in there. Then she wants us to get actuall herbal flushes that will take about 10 days, and she receives them orally. One for any harmful micro organisms that are living inside her body, and one to help clean out her liver. Joan said that the flushes will help her body to shed the fat also. In addition to that, the flushes are in general going to clean out her system which will cause other nice things like improvement in her skin hair and hooves.. yada yada yada. Oh and she also wants us to put cherokee on a supplement that has either kelp or seaweed in it to help her thyroid incase that's coming into issue with the weight.

Plus, Joan sells the WOW saddles and is going to be bringing a demo saddle out for me to try next week and see if that works better than the tree less. We already measure Cherokee, and she takes there second WIDEST gullet plate. Plus theres other costomizable features that will allow it to be a "perfect fit" for my mare, and easily adjustable for when her muscles change and build, at which point she'll probably need the widest gullet they offer. Yay. Plus the seat is customizable for the rider too. So we'll see. I've been trying to figure out if I would take the WOW or Linda Parelli's new all purpose saddle, and I think I might just be going with the wow.

But yes, there is a light at the end of this tunnel. A big bright light. There's also a toll booth sitting at the end of the tunnel... thank god Dad loves to spoil my mare. Mom finally figured out that she and Dad could retire a few years earlier if it wern't for Cherokee. She just hasn't figured out how many years, thankfully. So anyway, my mare although many of her habits will be changing, is going to be just fine.

Oh, so last night while she was getting her massage, Joan would hit a sore spot and Cherokee would make an ugly face and try to bite the nearest living thing (usually me). Then after the massage she was still arguieing and fussing with the horses on either side of her stall. I made some comment along the lines of "If she's feeling better, why is she sill being so ornary?" Then Joan explained that the better she feels, the more of this we're going to see. Great... That's an appy mare for ya.

Keep in mind, that my characters come to life for me. So no, these are not real people getting mad, they are my characters. But when they're pissed they can do much worse than any real person can, they can take away my muse.

Anywho, I've been super busy, and on vacation and stuff like that. Point is I'm constantly brainstorming what's going to happen next. I'm jsut having problems with the whole thinking part. Too many cookies I think.

Until then, I write. But my desire to write is dwindling from the fact that NOT A SINGLE PERSON has left a comment on ANY of my chapters. If they suck, just say it, and I'll quit while I'm behind.

Other parts of my life seem to be taking the same road. My parelli training for instance. I lack imagination. My horse is classified as a difficult horse. Not a dangerous horse, but a difficult horse. She has a great desire to play, but look at it this way: her play area is a room with thousands and thousands of locked doors. I was given a few keys at first, but now I only get one key every so often. I use that key on a door, and the door eats the key. So I can get into her play drive room once with each key. Then I have to find a different key to get in next time. I've pretty much run out of keys. I'm at a loss, and begining to think that maybe, I should just stop. Just give up. Maybe when the 4 star instructor told me I should go to school and have a back up ready, she was really saying, "theres no way you're going to make it in the parelli world." Blah...

And so we continue to the 4th part of my life: dagorhir. Basically I've been testing for knight for over 11 months now... I'm a little tired of it. I'm barely able to drag myself to practice just to fail my test again. Somehow I keep thinking there is a lesson in there though. And it ties into my horse. I've been doing the same thing over and over and over, and it's not working. 2+2 will ALWAYS equal 4. So I have to change the equation if I want a different answer. 2+3, is a little different,but not enough. 5 is only 1 away from 4. But I guess it's a start.

Blah... go read my story. Or draw me a pic... or give me a hug. I could use a hug. I don't get enough at home.

So here's the deal- I'm lazy and busy working on my story. However it would be nice to have some art for each of my Chapters (currently only one).

Specifications:

-The art piece should NOT be too big. I want them to see your art, go "Oo-ahh..." and then focus on my story. It also should look nice as a thumbnail.

-Use my descriptions for the characters you draw. ie: Don't make my winged fox have neon green wings. It clearly says in chapter three, "four BLACK wings."

-Putting the name of the Chapter in your piccy gets you extra brownie points but is not required.

-Technically, there is no time limit. It's now down to a first come, first served. So if you have a pic you want me to use, send me a link.

-I will NOT accept anything that is considered profane. Definition of profane is for ME to determine.

Cherokee and I are to the point where I can walk her bareback, and bridless, and she'll listen to me about 80% of the time. I can also work with her off line on the ground and get about the same results.
Sounds, great, right? What am I getting so stressed over? The fact that I work at the barn where I keep my horse.

There are some people there that are throwing hissy fits about what I'm doing. Saying it's dangerous because my horse gets out of control when THEY ride into MY working circle. And then they overhear advice I give other people on the wellbeing/training or whatever of their horse, and throw another hissy fit. So you know what my boss does???

I'm not allowed to speak with any of the boarders concerning horses in any way shape or form. Nor am I allowed to lounge my horse or let her off line in the indoor ring anymore. Basically I have to go outside, or hop on ride, and put her away, just like everyone else. MY HORSE IS NOT A PIECE OF RECREATION EQUIPMENT!!!

I have 4 pics in a series that are almost complete. Only one of them has a background because I was having so much fun with it. Funny how it was the hardest one for me to draw and it's also become my favorite out of the four. So what theme could I do that would need 4 pics? Elemental!! woots! and the subjects be my favorites.... elves and dragons. woohoo!
Why do this? To expand my drawing skills from my one character (tylly), and to draw dragons again, and to get a feel for those super cool prisma markers my baby gave me for xmas!!

This past week has really been something of a reflection for me comparing the Chorokee of now, to the Cherokee I bought.

I bought a 15.1, 18 month filly, shaggy, appy spotted, American Warmblood, who you couldn't get on, would let you lounge her, would bite your arm off if you asked her to trot next to you, didn't want to listen, reared when you were telling her to do too much work, would run you over to escape her jail cell (stall), and would run you into walls just to get to her food.

I now have a 16.1 3 1/2 old mare, who at the slightest pressure will try her hardest to pick up the canter ON THE CORRECT LEAD EVEN! She does wonderful side passes, gives it her all in anything I ask to include poning other horses, cutting a horse out of the herd (done this morning), letting me pick up spooky objects as we run past them, riding backwards, bareback, sidesaddle, standing up on the saddle, 1 rein, no rein, neck rein, shoulder in, haunches in, turn on the fore or the hind, and just about anything else I can think up. THATS JUST THE RIDING! She can do even more with ground work, I always teach her new stuff from the ground before the saddle, so you can only imagine.

We so have this level 2 Parelli clinic down this weekend. Bring the competition, we're gonna be the best no matter what.

Ok, most of you know by now that I play a midieval hand to hand combat game where we cover pvc pipping in foam and beat the shit outt aeach other. Naturally there arn't too many girls in the sport, for some reason guys are more attracted to that kinda thing than girls are.

So the few girls that are in the game are worshipped like goddesses, right? I mean, c'mon. 700 horney nerds and geeks and "omg look! A girl!! here?? with us? I might have a chance to get laid!!!" Yeah well not all the time.

In my own unit none the less, all they can do is talk shit about this one girl. I'm fucking sick of it. There was a little drama over a year ago that she got dragged into, it wasn't her fault though. But everyone remembers it and the hate just builds from there. And I mean it was just a little drama...

Some jerk off and a few friends decided to start their own game similar to Dagorhir but they'd make a profit and call it Belagarth. Well they openly insulted dagorhir and the president of dagorhir (my unit's field general, mind you, is the president of dagorhir and was at the time of the drama). The girls part in all this?? One of the jerk's friends (we'll call him AH-1) was under the impression that she and he (AH-1) were dating when she had never agreed to it. but he's a big douch and acted as with supreme control over her. She had nothing to do with Belegarth and to my knowlegde was loyal to Dagorhir and Erekose (our prez) through out the drama. But none the les people marked her on the bad list for it.

So now people are talking and spreading rumors, (this is about the time I entered the unit) and she's stopped fighting for the most part. Can you blame her? Well it wasn't just the rumors, it was the fact that she was having injury problems and couldn't keep a bill of health long enough to do and decent fighting. Plus school was starting and there were boy troubles too. Boy troubles that lived 4 hours away.... in another state.... get the picture?

So not long after I join the unit I start dating one of the jerks in the unit (we'll call him AH-2). And he kept telling me how much he hates this girl. "Why? what did she ever do to you?" he never could give me an answer other than "she's a fucking cunt" or something along those lines. Well I was stupid and "in love" and took his word for it. So the first time I see her I give her an evil look that is soon replaced. "Ok... she's clearly not ugly, and she doesn't have the look of someone I'd hate... so why does AH-2 hate her? I'm sure theres a reason somewhere..." That was about november last year.

In May we had another campout battle. And finally she and I started talking. Shes into art, used to do horseback riding, likes midieval stuff, why am I supposed to hate her again? Oh right, cuz AH-2 told me to. Um... well no. I'm not going to.

Well on and off she's been continuing to have problems making it out to practices but makes it to battles for the most part. So people start throwing around the question "When is she gonna turn in her black sash for a red one?" black means ur an active fighter, red means ur a non-combatant. normally the wives of the older fighters in our unit wear the red.

Well Ragnarok rolls around. And everyone is hoping she doesn't come to it and cause all the drama she "caused" the year before. Much to most peoples's dissapointment, she does show up. And although she caused no drama what-so-ever, they still have to bad mouth her.

So here we are, about 4 months or so after Rag. And what's going on? She's just started a job, and college, has a fiance that lives 3 1/2 hours away, and the unit is still trash talking about her because she doesn't make time to come fight. Yet she still makes it to most the battles.

Well she realy does want to fight. Or she did. And she wanted to be more active in the unit. So she comes out to a few practioces, and even makes it to a shield build. Gets started on a shield, which I finished at the next 2 builds for her. Now our general wants to auction off her shield if she doesn't come pay for it and pick it up. Ok, that's understandable. But with most people he's rather leniant about it. But no, because no one likes her, he's willing to be cut throat about this one. So I have until tomorrow night to get him her $42 to pay for her shield and pick it up because she doesn't have the time to drive 30 min here and 30 min back home.

Not much of a problem right? It gets better.

Now she wants to quit. I don't blame her. I'm just as sick of all the shit as she is. People in our unit are being complete ass holes to her and have absolutly no reason to do so. Go me! I gots an interview at bath and body works tomorrow!! *crosses fingers* Unfortuneatly.. it's retail, and retail means nights and weekends... the nights part i don't mind, but i only get to see my hawk on the weekends due to we're 3 hours away from each other. *sigh* just gonna have to make the few times we see each other count more than ever.

Cherokee is gonna be in her first show on the 26th!! why?? because it's an in barn show. woohoo! no trailering required! walk out of the stall and boom! were there! We're gonna be doing a Parelli Natural Horsemanship Demo with another horse and trainer, my partner in crime, Robyn. Then we're gonna try our hand at the obsticle course, and the games, and in-hand showing. Oi.. we're gonna bomb it all. I just know it. that's ok though, it's all good expieience.

This weekend giong up to phillly to see my hawk! and go kick some taurendor ass!! Nedryck's got a gestiguiste out post in the taurendor chapter, and there's a new girl. gotta get up there and show her that there are other gesti-girls and we do kick ass. you know, the whole welcome wagon thing? gotta make her want to come back and be part of gestiguiste. goal is to even out the ckick to dick ratio at rag next year. well.. not completely even, but more even.somewhere around only 12-14% of dagorhir fighters are females. we need to change that, and the guys agree. only 9 1/2 months till rag!

I'm hoping to redo my pheonix chic picture sometime in the near future.. I've been wanting to for some time, maybe now that I've found new inspiration things will get rolling again.

As for now, I'm just recovering from mono, the kissing disease. We thinks I got it from Rag somehow.. not sure. Whatever, the point is there is hope at the end of this hell fire that's slowly dying within my thorat.. the fire, not the hope. And once it's been extinguished, I shall go to see my little hawk up in PA.

Too bad I'm already like... OMG! Can't wait for Rag next year!! WAHH!!!!! And the countdown is 10 1/2 months right now. lol. I'm so silly sometimes.

Once I get all the avatars done for NDA, then I think I'll take a request or two... maybe.. No promises cuz I'm a procrastinator.. but we'll see.

I spent 45 minutes today hauling around jump stands at the barn, putting them into a circle and then put my horse inside. I wanted to work her off line a little bit. Thought.. oh, she's soo lazy, she doesn't even like walking over a 4 inch pole, and she's never jumped more than 18 inches, so she won't attempt the lowest jump ( 24 inches ). Ok filly, start a circle that dirrection...*points*. "What? Run around in here? I don't think so.. BYE!" and away my horse went over the jump... well.. there's no excuses when I ask her to jump 2 footers in a year. Silly filly...

I've been really into this whole hemp necklace thing since I got back from Rag. Need to get some clay and start making beads for it...

I've been trying to draw.. really.. and I did a nice one of my character (Tylly) being a total slut as she walked naked into a lake looking over her shoulder with this face like "You gonna join me or just stand there and watch??".. and then when I inked it I ruined it.. bah... Must try to re-draw...

Sunday:
Left at 3:30 in the morning for Ohio. Took us only 5 1/2 hours. I almost ran off the road once trying to get cookies from the back seat, hit the rumble strip twice while falling asleep at the wheel, and then almost hit a sign when I got distracted with the excitement of being only 5 min away! Teehee. Makes you wanna ride in my car, doesn't it? Then we un packed the cars, pitched the tents, and lazed about for the day.

Monday:
Weapons Check-in was a pain in the ass. They bent my shield in half! My only shield! Did it break? No, but now my core has a crease in it and the foam has come unglued in a few spots. Grr... Then they tried to fail our flails because fabric was sticking out and not taped down.. oh no, not the fabric *Rolls eyes* Well we finally got around to fighting. Set up three teams, they tried to divide the units instead of the realms. Gestiguiste (the unit I'm in) was like, "Hell no! Aratari(our realm) fights itself 12 times a year! We're not doing it at Rag!" They finally let us be together with Rome, The Gaurd, Thalendor, and Elletheria.
Senario of the day: 3 teams, one caslte with archer's towers. Each team had a turn at being the "defenders" and defend the castle, while the other 2 teams banded together to be the "attackers". The attacters could reserect, the defenders could not. Being outnumbered 4 to 1, Aratari came in Second place. GO US! We might have had 1st but they didn't count the time that Erekose was still alive and walking around with his arms behind his back because he had lost them both to arrows. Bah, stupid harolds...
The Banner Wars started that night. Each unit gets a flag that they post just outside there camp. It's capture the flag with like 15 teams instead of just 2. once we died, we had to go back to our camp and wait out a 5 min resurection. Mirkwood gave us hell that night. I was sent over in my feast grab (the pretty stuff) and a flail hidden under my cloak. I never got close enough to the flag to get it. Oh well. Surprised a few when they saw me fighting for Gestiguiste the next day.

Tuesday:
Weapon's check was hell again. They were getting anal with the arrows. I had a black eye from an arrow the day before.
Senario of the day: 2 teams, each with a castle to defend set on opposite sides of 2 bridges. 2 dragons gaurded the bridges. I was the head of Dragon Bob. The other dragon was named Steve. 7 people to a dragon: The head(an archer: arrows became dragon's fire and burned anyone it touched), the body(5 shield men, one for each limb and another for a tail), and the heart (also a shield man, or in our case a shield woman). Well.. Dragon Bob had a very small, black heart. Black because she's from Gestiguiste and that's our color. But she was surrounded by people a minimum of 5 inches taller than her. Made for some fun! The enemies couldn't find her. Unfortunately for them, you have to kill the heart to kill the dragon; the head, tail, and limbs are invincible to damage. So we packed in tight and kept her safe. It was fun. The aratari team won with like 14 points. Hurray for my home team! (Sorry for killing so many of you with my fire) Did I mention the really cute guy that was a limb on Dragon Bob? Teehee... Dragon Bob went for a swim in the lake after the battle... or most of us anyway. That cutie being from Torendor... But I guess we can forgive him, he is Silk's little bro and she's with GTG in Aratari.
That night the bannerwars continued. I went back to Mirkwood dressed as a GTG member to talk to them. We'd been told 10 feet from the flag, they'd been screaming 5 the night before. M'dog came out and was like, "We can do 10. Actually, we just want to party tonight, you wanna just take our flag?" *Jaw drops* Uhh... sure. "Well I can't just give it to you, we'll have to fight for it, but you'll win." Uh.. ok. So there Corpse and I stood, only 1 beatstick between the two of us, facing like 20 guys with shields and armor. And a tapped M'dog on the chest with my beatstick, taking his one armor hit away. He then took my left arm. I hit again on his chest for the kill blow and Corpse and I returned to GTG camp with Mirkwood's 20 point flag in our hands. We then fought with Torendor all night. Something like all but 2 of the flags were ours by the end of the night.

I'm having too much fun with photoshop. I spent a good deal yesterday just looking up tutorials and messing around with it.

Frieday: Prom. I'll have a picture within 2 weeks and I'll post it here for all to see.

Saturday: Arrive at Marrietta Mansion in the wee hours of the morning after getting lost in DC... Thanx to my boyfriend for getting us turned around and in the right dirrection at last. Got to sleep sometime around 3/4 in the morning.. restless night on the hard ground.. BAH! Woke up, had a long day of fighting.. and I do mean LONG! I couldn't draw my bow by the end of the day, and my fingers felt like they were throbbing from pulling the string so much. Stayed up late, played with the boy toy

Sunday: A few pick up fights, no big battle. I passed 4 of my 7 tests for sentinal. GO ME!! Watched crazy people (boyfriend included) fight while dancing and jumping around a live fire in order to create a "totally unsafe environment" to encourage a drunk to leave our camp. Later that night found out I'd thrown out my back while testing for sentinal. Went home and spent the night with my boyfriend on a bed instead of the hard ground. Ahh sweet luxuries..

Monday: Slept in, went to my home and got pain killers for my back. Then it was time to take my beloved pet to the vet for SURGERY!! Wah!!

Tuesday: School. Boyfriend wasn't home when I called, pony was off being cut open, so I stayed at home and was a bum.

Today: Picked up Cherokee from the vet. 2 weeks strictly stall bound. Then 2 weeks where I can walk her a little. Then 2 weeks where she can go out in a small paddock by herself. And after that she can return to the herd. But for now, I have to administer a shot once a day for 8 days and give her pills for 2 weeks. All this, the agony since February, all over a little piece of bone the size of my tumb nail... Horses.. go figure.

I just Finished the first of the Sevenwaters Trilogy by Juliet Marillier. VERY GOOD! My best friend hates to read and she can't put this book down! Girls, have a tissue box ready when you get to the last few chapters. This one made my eyes well up and that is something of great feat for a book.
I've already started the second one and it promises to be just as good as the first.

2nd block-Japanese 1: Nothing really. I'm just pissed at myself cuz I failed a test today and I'm failing th class.

3rd block-English 12: Teacher appects everyone else's writing assn, but not mine because she feels I can do better. This is one of those classes where I'm held to a higher standard than everyone else. So I didn't fix the assn and now I'm going to turn it in tomorrow just as it was today and she's still gonna be pissy at me.

4th block-Accounting: Tried to catch up. I really did. Next thing I knew I was waking up with 15 min left in class.

Ok.. skools out.. go see pony, that'll make me happy, right? Not when
A. the horse's owner I WAS working with calls to tell me she doesn't want me riding her horse because people had told her I was riding her horse when that's what we had agreed to in the first place.
B. Cherokee's (my own horse) leg is looking even worse and I'm afraid to work with her cuz its infected again and it just looks soo gross.
C. Apperantly my training methods with Cherokee are "un-safe" and people have gotten upset to the point where they've considered requesting that I be evicted from the barn. Funny, no one ever came up to me about this until today. And I don't recall using whips or beating my horse into a frenzy of any kind. The rope slipped through my hand on Monday but there was only one other person in the ring and she didn't cause any harm to this person or her horse. I distinctly remember asking the person several times if she and her horse were ok from the scare and she said she'd be fine. Wanna talk safety? How about all the idiots that get in there without a helmet on? Got news for ya, horseback riding is one of the most dangerous sports in the world because we don't speak their language and they wheigh 1200 lbs on average. DUH theres gonna be some fucking safety issues!

Ok fine, stable throery not good relaxing point. Dagorhir practice.. ahh finally.. a nice way to end the day. Bashing people around with pvc pipe coverd in foam pretending where from the middle ages. Nice stress relief. Go home feeling happy.

Get home and low and behold, some one from the stable has called my parents and now I get to hear a lecture from them on.. what the hell was it on? Its like they were on my side but needed to lecture me anyway.
