Bonjour, mes amis. Comment allez-vous?

Anyway, it's back to the grind for me. Today was the second day of school, so... meh. Tommorrow is my first FULL day. (The first two are half-days... why? I don't know.)

I don't know why, but this year seems scary looming ahead of me. Earlier I was excited, but due to this afternoon's events, I'm not sure of anything anymore. Most of all, my emotions, feelings, and general self-image.

It's an issue which I didn't expect. It hurt me so much to realize it. I hadn't cried about it for two months. And now, when I should be happy, I cry.

I don't want to hurt someone. I really don't. But I am swamped between feelings of guilt and feelings of resentment and spite. It's like the emotional floodgate I held closed for two months has finally burst open.

I'm scared of many things right now. This afternoon, I thought the Linkin Park song "Runaway" describes my feelings towards this situation pretty well.

"I wanna run away, never say goodbye, I wanna know the truth, instead of wondering why, I wanna know the answers, no more lies, I wanna shut the door, and open up my mind..."

Thank you to anyone who has read all of this. If any of my friends would like to know the full story, I'd be glad to send you a note, since it's not something I want to talk about in a public journal entry.

I also want to thank you all for how kind you've been to me. I appreciate it more than you can imagine.
