I'm hoping to raise enough money to buy a new computer, mine is around 6 years old and the fans on my video card have stopped working. I now have the side cover off and a fan blowing in to keep it from shutting down on me. Aside from that, I hope everyone has a great Christmas and New Years!

How was everyone's Thanksgiving? Full of good food and good friends/family I hope.
Mine started off rough... the day before Thanksgiving my wonderful cat Smokey got hit by a car. After driving to the local vet I found out he was out checking on cows (gotta love rural Montana) so I drove 25 miles to another city and another vet. After the vet took a look at him he discovered that Smokey had no feeling in his back legs or tail, we made the hard decision to humanely euthanize him. Its really hard to stand there and watch the life leave your beloved pet's eyes. I will miss him greatly.
Thanksgiving day was good, lots of good food and wonderful family. Got to catch up on the lives of family I haven't seen in a long time. I hope everyone had a good holiday!

Thank you to the designer/maker/assclown(s) that unleashed Virut upon the interwebs, it has managed to find a nice cozy home on my system and screw with everything. Oh, and thanks for dropping shortcuts to porn on my desktop, I'm really glad my 4 year old got to see what a vagina looks like. Eff you.

I've finished painting my Nerf Maverick pistol, I'm hoping to have pictures of it up soon. I'm doing steampunk for Halloween this year and I'm loving the extra excuse to make cool stuff. Funny, I finally figured out how to digitally ink my work with the pen tool, and I hate it. Its not hard, but I don't really like it. I think I'll just be painting on top of my sketches from now on, feels like I lose a lot of the original drawing when I ink it.

I love Blizzard

I just saw the new tidbits of the World of Warcraft expansion, Cataclysm... holy crap it looks cool. I get to play as a Worgen?!?!?!? Finally!! I love that they're revamping (destroying) old Azeroth and flying mounts will be useable there. Wonder if we'll have to pay a fee for flying there too?
Now I want to reactivate my account and play again, dust off my resto shaman. Well, if anyone is hanging around Icecrown, look me up on my shaman Cymmaren!

Well, after 5 years, my faithful computer is finally starting to kick the bucket. I have the side cover off and a fan blowing in, otherwise it overheats and shuts down on me. I freaking love Livestream!! I've learned some great things from the handful of artists I'm watching on there, I have to say, huge thanks to all of them for sharing what they do!
Here are the artists I'm currently watching (stalking):
I've been more inspired than I have in at least 3 years, its refreshing. So out of this came Copperminx and I'm really proud of how she came out. There are a lot of things I still need to improve on, but so far its the best digitally colored piece I have.

Work has started to quiet down, so much that I've been bringing my graphics tablet with to work on stuff there. I've also been considering taking some online art classes... looking at The Art Institute of Pittsburg and The Academy of Art University... any suggestions?

New pen for my graphics tablet finally showed up, hooray! I can't believe it took me this long to figure out that my pen was bad... I think I must have installed and reinstalled the drivers 20 times. I stayed up until 2 a.m. to finish the Molotov Cocktease fan art, overall I like how she turned out but I might go back and add some details, she looks too nice to be a russian spy. Anyways, feels good to be getting back to drawing, I hope to have more art posted soon!

Well, I got the bright idea to wipe my hard drive, cleaning out a bunch of crap and helping it to run faster.... which worked beautifully. Except now my Photoshop 7 isn't working.... grrrr. Anyone got a copy of mac OS 9.2? Anyways, still working on my faeries, and I have a lot of new art to upload, as soon as I get this dilemma fixed.

Hello and all that from South Korea! Besides smelling like kimchi (and other unpleasant scents), S. Korea is pretty cool. We're staying at a city (part of Seoul) called Bupyeong, and between working at the airport unloading mail and doing other soldier stuff, I've done lots of shopping!! Whee! Anyways, I'll be back in the US by the 29th and I'll have some new art to upload, and maybe some pictures too.
