So I finally got logged-on to my online banking, and WHERE DID MY $800 go??????? I spentsed it all and I haven't been working much, that's where!
Shit. Well, at least I have a fair bit in savings, and I just got a check from the WIRS to pad it a little. And I'm getting $1200 in a couple of weeks, which I can hopefully live off of for the ENTIRE summer (that would be sweet!) Then I can save the other $2400. Also I'll be selling textbooks back to Conkey's... And I accidentamally paid ahead on my CC bill. So taht's nice, I guess.

Anyways just kind of startled at the SUDDEN LACK OF FUNDZ. But it's my own fault I'm a consumer whore.
Also I'm almost out of Viking Gold and Grill cash. mbleh. but it's 8th week so I only have to make it thru finals.

a little life & loss

Those of you who know me IRL (or are somewhat familiar with my photos) know about my family's dog, Paddi, seen here > [link] and here > [link] . Recently she's been very sick, and we've discovered her kidneys are failing and as a result, her blood chemistry is shot. She's been acting happy recently due to the IV fluids Mom (who's also her vet) gave her last week and the canned food she loves so much, but really, one day without eating and we lose her... she may have days or weeks, maybe a month. It depends on how long the happy holds.

I go to school about 100 miles by freeway from my family right now, which is close enough that a day trip is feasible. Mom might bring Paddi up so I can see her either today or Thursday, because it'll probably be the last time. (Typing is so much easier than talking...)

So yeah. She's not really that old for a smallish dog.. I don't know for sure, but it's probably 8 to 10 years old. She's never been the epitome of health, but it's never been this bad.

So if you believe in a God, I ask you to pray for Paddington Rose Marheine. And if you don't, please keep her in your heart.

Hi all!!! just taking a break from physics to let you know everything's kind of awesome I made a pot of some of the coffee Mom got me a while ago, I'm listening to the guitar hero music, and enjoying my day off!! I went to the Kohler 10-minute dance party last night with Alison and Lizzy while the boys stayed here (at swing house) and played Risk (Erik was America and got crushed by Europe/Africa (Sean) and Asia/Australia (Eric) because he was being a typical American to them ). I also had enough extra time yesterday to have a Buffy Date (TM) with Alison which was GREAT and we drank decaf and watched James Marsters and David Boreanaz be awesome.

OH AND!!! The Hamburg Symphony Orchestra played at the PAC last night and Erik and I got student rush tix (show up at the door and pay cash) for $10 each!!! TEN DOLLARS EACH!!! It was AMAZING!! They played a Mendelssohn overture (The Hebrides), Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in DM (one of the coolest things I've ever heard), and Brahms' 2nd Symphony (is that the one we saw?). And the encore was Trepak from The Nutcracker Plus we had absolutely KILLER seats that normally cost $55 ea but Student Rush is about the greatest thing ever. Orchestra, row J, right in the middle! The violin soloist made some awesome faces, and I could see the 2nd clarinetist, too -- he looked silly when he played (big guy, poofy face!). And the trombone section was half tiny Asian men And it started snowing on the way home Before the concert we got Sal's Pizza for dinner which was cheap and delicious. DESPITE a notice in the program AND a verbal announcement with the "turn off cell phones" speech, people STILL clapped after the first movement of the Tchaikovsky. It was super terrible. Luckily there was no break btw mvts 2 and 3, and in the Brahms only about 2 people tried to clap after the 1st mvt. So now the Europeans know we're uncultured Midwesterners who don't know beans about concert etiquette XD Though I think I've been seeing too much Jazz because it was VERY hard not to break into raucous applause after the violin cadenzas. Holy wow. Srsly. Apparently in Mozart's time (this is courtesy Erik's music history class), things were a lot more like how we do jazz these days, and people would mill around and clap whenever they wanted to, not like today's silent sit-downs. I like it the old way a lot better, actually, but I have manners....

The snow looks AWESOME and is totally great (Erik frolic-ed in it last night -- i have video!), except for the plowed sidewalk outside my window. Not as pretty. As a double bonus, lunch at Downer today was grilled tomato, basil, and mozzarella on sourdough which is probably the best thing they make!

The physics homework is nearly done, and I'm very happy with myself since Jason said they spent half their time at BJ working on it together and didn't quite finish -- also most of these people were already halfway done!! I don't think I'll have any trouble finishing on time and getting plenty of sleep Though if it comes to it, coffee exists and I have tomorrow off, too. Except for some reading, but that's an hour, tops.

I've been sick for a week, and Erik finally decided that I'm well enough that the horny outweighs the risk of getting sick and I got me some makeout lovin' yesterday!! You don't know how long a week can feel.. Anyway, perfect cap to a perfect day (of being completely unproductive. I have 6 hours of homework to do before noon tomorrow) Ganbatte!

Since I was very young, Ive been fascinated by the night sky and the idea of all the uncountable things we can find by studying it. This fascination has taken me in several different directions, from going out in the backyard with my uncle and his telescope, to downloading freeware that lets me explore half the galaxy with keyboard shortcuts, to a semester of independent study in high school culminating in my honors paper, in which I attempted to strip Pluto of its title of planet before the IAUs talk of the same thing ever hit the news. When it did, last summer, I spent a good week literally jumping for joy and telling everyone I met that the solar system was finally arranged properly.
My enthusiasm for astronomy has only increased since I started college. Though Lawrence (unfortunately) doesnt have an astronomy department, the Physics department makes a point of always having a professor on staff whose interests lie in a field associated with astronomy. I am greatly looking forward to taking one of the 300 or 400-level classes they offer now that Prof. Pickett is here, and I also hope that participating in the summer program at INSERT HERE will help me feed my curiosity, give me insight into what I hope to do in the future, and help me figure out which of the many facets of astronomy is the one I care the most about, the one I want to pursue in grad school and beyond.

In my wonderful style, I get obsessed with a new project idea during the absolute worst part of the year -- Finals Week!!
Anyways, Erik and I decided it would be great t1
o go as Arwen and Aragorn for Halloween next year. I found a pattern that will be PERFECT: McCall's M4378 [link] . I'm thinking purple, green, or blue, in some sort of satin, silk, or light brocade, with a heavier silver brocade ribbon for the borders, and an Eowyn-esque belt. The hood I might also do in matching lace.
I also went out to the bead store on the Ave today (bad! should be studying math!) and got 24-gauge silver-colored copper wire ($3 for 30yd), a tube of large clear seed beads for the circlet ($3.75), and a clear faceted drop-shaped Swarovski crystal, about 1/2" long ($1.25), for the Evenstar pendant.
For the circlet I'll twist 3 strands of wire together, then wrap a beaded wire around that and do a small decoration on the front.
For the Evenstar, I'm going to use a chain I already have (cheaper!!) and sort of fashion something like a cross between the movie's Evenstar and Sam's light-perfume-bottle-thingus. So it's not really movie-Arwen, but it'll be awesome anyways.
I haven't decided yet if I'll wear a wig or grow my hair out. I've got a while. Hopefully I like my hair long...
Also The Body Shop's hemp hand lotion is AMAZING shit. My knuckles aren't red any more!

Finished the pendant!! A lovely photo is here: [link] . I also got the circlet done, but I don't have a picture up because that's at school and I'm home for the holidays until January 2. No pattern yet -- I'm waiting for a sale.
I've decided to go with a satiny blue for the dress, with silver trim, since that's what Arwen is wearing the first time Aragorn sees her (and thinks she's Luthien ).

Went out yesterday and bought everything I need for the dress itself (not the cape yet). 12 yards of medium blue Symphony Broadcloth, 4 yards of white broadcloth for lining (not going to line fully, just the top, since I have a white petticoat), the zipper, thread, a few yards of Xmas clearance silver ribbon (3/8"), and, of course, the pattern!! Not going to start it until March, probably, since I have a lot to do before I go back to school on Jan 2.

Got a real start on it!! Also decided to forget the entire "ZOMG i teh arwenz" fangirlishness and hit the geek bit headfirst --- i.e., I'm just Luthien now, which is way better anyhow b/c then no one's comparing me to Liv Tyler.
Anyhow, I lost the zipper i bought, so I had to go get another one. Also picked up some grey/silver very narrow ribbon that I crocheted into two long chains and will use as the belt.
CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS: Body construction of the outer part is complete, lining is almost complete. Nothing on the sleeves yet, and I've decided to trim the neckline with the silver ribbon, and just do a simple double-stitch hem in silver thread on the sleeves and bottom hem. The train on this thing is ridiculous!!
More work tomorrow, hopefully finishing this week~!

A bit late to post, but IS FINISH!!!! No pics of it it yet, but I'll get some. The front is a bit lower-cut than I anticipated, but the Boy likes it as long as I don't bend over in public. Also made a short cape out of the leftover blue fabric and used the leftover ribbon to trim around the hood.

Is anyone interested in buying custom-made paper dolls? I'm thinking I might pick up a commission or two over my December break from school, if there's interest.
I will upload some photos of the ones I made for myself.
Pricing would be something like $15-$20 for the doll and first outfit, and $5-$10 for each additional outfit depending on complexity. Everything would be on mid-weight cardstock, colored with Copic/Prismacolor markers, fully inked, and dolls laminated, each around 6 to 8 inches tall, larger for additional cost, and I'd take personal cheques (mailed) or PayPal (much preferred!!) I'd expect payment after you approve sketches and before I mail (shipping covered in price).
Please comment and tell me if you'd be interested in this, and share with your friends!! I don't care if you don't have money/wouldn't actually do it, I just want to guage interest.

Oh man, Firefox is so great! And I got rid of the obnoxious ads here WITHOUT subscribing because I got the Adblock plugin for Firefox, which is available HERE! [link] just click on install at the top! I promise it's safe and won't infect your computer or anything and costs nothing at all. Unfortunately, it's only available for Mozilla Firefox, which you should have anyways if you're running Windows or Linux because (especially for Windoze) it's so much better than IE it's not even funny. MORE SECURE, people! They might have a similar plugin for Safari on Mac, but I don't know.
Anyway, I'm done hawking Firefox and all its free goodness. Yup.

Oh man, y'all! I went to Chicago last week and saw Wicked (the musical) and I COMPLETELY recommend it to anyone and everyone, especially if you love musicals!! I cried at the end, it was so great!

If you take out the 30mins+ of filler, it's like the Pirates version of The Empire Strikes Back. Obviously second in a trilogy, and much darker than the first. Also not as clever.

But the special effects are great, the score is enjoyable, and there are lots of surprises. Overall, not great but definitely fun.

My initial reactions:
"Look! an undead monkey!"
"I've got a jar of di-irt! I've got a jar of di-irt!"

Hey y'all, this is just a journal that I'm sort of randomly posting because I'm sick of seeing that looong thing on my frontpage. Sort of clutters it up, you know?

ARGH It's fifth week and miterm break isn't until next week (sixth week -- how does that work??) But from now on my Monday nights don't include 2 hours of pep band rehearsal. Yeeeaaahh. That's a good thing timewise.

All right, and now a question for those of you who actually read my journals (and because I'm a comment whore):
For those of you in middle/high school or college, what do you plan to major in (in college) or do for a living once you're out of school?
I'm sort of interested to see how many artsy people are doing something completely different, like me (PHYSICS MAJOR!! )

a few, for the clothes, ears, and big bare feet. But a lot of that would depend on the area, since her ears are mostly concealed by her HUGE AMOUNTS OF VERY CURLY HAIR.

For the most part, yes. Although she is unusually beautiful (hence the name) and ... well, she's in love with an Ent. So.

Eh... as far as hobbits go, just that she's on the short side and her hair is a really awesome shade of gold Like mine was until I dyed it back.

Well /I/ wouldn't date her, but the hobbit lads are all after her until Fangorn sorts things out.

Over important things, yes. But she also has a great sense of humor, so that usually prevents her getting mad.

Not usually, so when it does happen it's pretty severe but luckily doesn't last long.

Some of both when it's needed. She's resourceful.

She's CHEERFUL. I mean seriously!! It's very hard to get this girl down, and she laughs at everything. And she's always trying to be helpful, though sometimes that backfires..

Well, canon Elanor was Sam Gamgee's daughter and had lots and lots of siblings Mine... let's say she has a younger brother, and her parents both died when he was young so she was mostly raised by her aunt and uncle. But she was basically too young to remember when her parents died, so it hasn't affected her much. Her brother and aunt and uncle are very much alive and looking out for her

No, not really. When you live in Hobbiton, you're not really alone, because 1. your'e sort of related to everybody and 2. even if you're not, they act like you are. Plus her actual close family is intact, and when she does set out on her own she encounters Fangorn....

Nothing really, no... huh. Though falling in love with an Ent is rather problematic.

Oh, well...... prior to the one really big one... idk, something fun but trivial.

STORY!!
Ok.
(quick prestory: Erik is my bf of only just one week, and my dear friend and crush of many long moons )
So last night about 12:45 I went down to the lounge and played trivia for the Tower of Righteous Indignation, Victorious for about half an hour, at which point my roommate showed up, having decided she couldn't sleep, and Erik and I had both decided that it was time to go to bed so we could get to church in the morning.
(Here begins the detailed description~!) So we got as far as my room and Erik planted himself in the Chair, so I (naturally) curled up on his lap. We talked for a while (as we usually do), and I started stroking his hair with my one hand until the conversation dwindled out, and he just gradually leaned into my shoulder and closed his eyes. So I started stroking his hair with my other hand and set my cheek on his forehead, and as we relaxed more and more I let my face slide lower against his until our noses almost touched. At that point he kind of opened his eyes and smiled at me, and I kind of let my face move just a little more, and he didn't move away. So by now our lips are probably half an inch apart, and he moves oh-so-slightly and his lips just barely brush against mine.

Nothing happened for a couple of seconds, and then I moved in and kissed him just as lightly, but for a little longer. This happened about ten more times, and each time the kiss was a little longer and a little more substantial. We relaxed again, I put my cheek back on his forehead, we sat for a few more minutes, not saying anything. Finally he looked up at the clock (it was 1:45) and decided that he REALLY needed to go to bed, especially because nobody I know has been sleeping properly since we got back to school. So he left and I went to bed, etc. But apparently he stayed up until 3 working on his freshman studies paper, and he's completely dead today.

BUT ANYWAYS. That was absolutely, without a doubt, the most perfect first kiss I could ever have imagined. So, so, SO perfect. It's exactly how i dreamed it would be.
Yeah. I said to him that this has been a week of things that I didn't dare to hope for, and he said for him it's been a week of finally realizing what he wants. And that makes me happier than I could have even hoped: first, I'm happy because he's happy, and second, I'm ridiculously happy that his happiness involves me. It's just so... wow. Yeah. Wow.

Ok, everybody, here's the deal:

ARGH, i'm going CRAZY!! and I could use some advice.
Here's the scoop, in case you haven't been following:

I have an ENORMOUS crush on one of my good friends. We get along really amazingly well and we have a shitload of stuff in common (examples: LOTR, (marching) band, science, British comedy, opera, you get the drift) and I absolutely relish every moment i'm with him. He's sweet and funny and INTERESTING and I've fallen for him utterly.

He knows about this crush. I told him just about three weeks ago (during xmas break - I live in WI and he lives in IL, so I called him ). He said he'd never thought of me that way before, but didn't (still doesn't) seem at all put off by my obvious fondness for him. He did have a crush on one of our mutual friends, but she's not interested in him that way at all and she told him and I think he's just let it go. I think. I haven't asked.

Anyways, in the two weeks we've been back at school I've been seeing a lot more of him than I did before and it's been amazing fun. Over the (long) weekend one night I was in his room just hanging out with him and his roomie and some other guys (sort of) until 5 AM, and then two nights later I was there until 2 with just him and our friend Sean who lives on the same floor. And it was REALLY fun.

My problem is thus: When I admitted my crush to him, I said if he didn't want to have anything romantic, that was fine, though I'd like to be a little more than just casual friends with him. And we've achieved that (rather quickly, I might add) and it's really fun.
And now I desperately want to take the next step. But it really frightens me. I want to be even closer to him, I want to not feel bad about thinking about him romantically. But I don't want to make him uncomfortable, and I don't want to wreck our friendship, especially because out of our group of friends, he's the ONLY one who shares some of my (geekier) interests. On the one hand, trying for more could bring us a lot closer together. On the other hand (and this is the one that really scares me), trying for more could drive him completely away from me. I'm also worried that if he says no but we stay friends I'm going to have an even rougher time of it.

It's so hard to know what he's thinking, too. He's usually very calm and mellow, and not as rampantly social as I am, and I can't read him at all. Once in a while he'll say something that I could read a hell of a lot into, but I don't want to because ... well, it could just be because he's a sweet kind of a guy, which I know for sure he is in general.

Do any of you have ideas for ways I could broach the subject with him in a way that wouldn't be too awkward, would not make him feel bad about saying "no," but would also convey the overwhelming feeling that not having him is making me crazier than I am already?

Any input you could give would be extremely helpful...

OKOK, so I told him and it wasn't too awkward and he was the same sweet and friendly to me as he's always been YAY! Which means I didn't freak him out or something.
Anyway he said he does have some "confused feelings" for me and he's monstrously afraid of change, but he'd think on it and get back to me today! Either way this goes, I think I'm going to at least not be disappointed. YAY!

WELL, that was a waaay too long break, and being back at good ol' LU feels amazing. My class schedule is all in the morning (starting with classical physics at 8:30) but I have all my afternoons free to do the loads of homework that go along with all that jazz.

I admitted my crush to my friend Erik over the phone before we got back to school (which wasn't my plan) and found out he has a crush on someone else that he wouldn't say who, but being around him isn't too awkward. I act differently towards him than I did before, but I think that's really because I'm single now and thus not afraid of accidentally (or intentionally) flirting. I think it got him a little off guard, but he says everything's cool and he acts just the same when we're all together and didn't seem to mind me helping him bake cookies yesterday.

But GOOD LORD! The boy is *attractive*!! He put on shorts yesterday after he spilled dish water on his jeans. We were all watching a movie ("Equilibrium" - totally badass!) after that and he kept moving around and crossing his legs and I'd look over every time he moved and go ZOMG!! HOT legs. Really wanted to just reach out and touch him but that would be a BAD idea. NAUGHTY.

AND the biopsy results came back from the hugeass mole. Turns out it wasn't malignant, but it may have become dangerous down the road if we hadn't removed it. So I have to be extra vigilant in keeping track of my other moles and ALWAYS using sunscreen or I'll get skin cancer. w00t.

Anyway, yeah. Life is good except that it's too frikkin hot in here so we're gonna bug Hall Council to get the thermostat turned down. Yeeep.

Well, no stitches out until friday and my back HURTS. It's all achy and nasty and stuff and work tomorrow won't be fun. I'm thinking it's mostly because he had to loosen the skin up a lot (with his finger under it -- MAJOR ouch glad I was numb!) so it HURTS. Owie. I took a couple of tylenol but it's still bad and both sitting and standing cause extra pain at this point. Also having my arm forward to type causes pain, so I'll keep this brief.
BUT the other mole came back normal (no melanoma there) so hopefully this one is OK too. He showed it to me after he got it off and it's all big and nasty and stuff It was literally almost an inch across.
In conclusion: ARGH PAIN!!!

All of my friends from school are dispersed around the country for xmas, except I may get to see Noelle and maybe Mike and The Chosen One live close enough to get together for a guitar jam.
Also my grandpa's health is very poor. He has a lot of different problems, and some of the medications for some of them were causing new problems in other areas. And I get to see a dermatologist to see if this mole on my back is dangerous. Fun fun fun.
SO it's going to be a long 3 weeks of no new art for you guys BUT I promise in January I will have 2 new things: One is a submission to the yearbook for (a pic of me as a Ravenclaw ) and the other is a gift art for for xmas because them Weasley twins is HAWT!! The me-as-Ravenclaw will be first because all it needs is a scan and resize, but the Weasleys need major freckle touch-ups and a background, which could be a while (both of these were colored with Copic markers, which are kind of finicky).
Oh well. In the meantime I'll be adding to my favorites here on dA and reading "Obedience to Authority" for a class I have next term. AND of course I'll be commenting on all sorts of stuff and things like that.

Okay, so I'm home for Thanksgiving now and it's frikkin WEIRD. I didn't realize how much I really DON'T miss "home" - Appleton is home now.
ALSO, my ex-boyfriend Mark (who can be seen in many forms in my gallery) just asked out (on Sunday) one of my good friends (Lisa), who we've both been friends with for quite a long time. I was really hurt at first that he didn't tell me, and for lots of other reasons, but it's all worked out now and I'm going to be okay (after lots of messaging on Facebook). Turns out he was hiding his true feelings about our relationship for a lot of last year because he wanted to let me down easy, and graduating HS was a pretty good excuse. BUT the plan backfired and caused a hell of a lot of pain for both of us, but now we're squared away and honest. Which makes me very glad. You really can't go back.

Ozma278 ) after they FINALLY came and got him for his surgery today. He had a bony growth on his knee removed, but we had to wait two and a half hours longer than they said because the surgeon was waaaaay behind. So after much boredom and random chatter and long silences while I tried to read Plato's Republic, they were finally ready and Steve was surgerized and it went off 100% without a hitch! He was a little loopy afterwards, but otherwise completely fine.

Kohler Hall is a quiet place at 3 AM. I'm up because I'm finishing my paper on Plato's Republic. I have very little left to do (basically describe how the Republic "avoids the pitfalls of democracy") so it won't be long or difficult, and I came up with a kickass title: "Democrats and Republicans: Democracy in Plato's Republic." Isn't that an awesome play on words? And my prof usually loves my titles
OMG I was SO loopy earlier!! Don't know why. I ate dinner at the Grill at 8:30 (HUNGRY!!) and then tried to work, but I couldn't focus at all and then other people came back from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and we had Surgery Story Time!! It was awesome. And it was just me and the girls -- Steve had been out cold for a while by then... he would've been scared to death by my roommate's scoliosis-surgery stories. And THEN Eric and Sean showed up and played the Forkman (Kapwing!) theme song on accordion and guitar for us, so we spent over an hour doing random shit like that.
AND THEN 1:30 hit, bringing inspiration with it
So it's 3 and I'm listening to Enya while my roommate sleeps soundly and I need one more page of Plato and I'm not tired, but boy will I need tomorrow

Okay, so here's a quiz i stole from =Tasuki-no-Miko because it looked like a lot of fun!! Here goes.

1. If you were to die this evening with no opportunity to communicate with anyone, what would you most regret not having told someone?:
I think i would most regret not having told Mark that i've moved on. He deserves to know, but right now it's still too soon. I don't want to freak him out or make him think that he didn't mean that much to me, because he did. I really don't want him to take this personally, because it really has nothing to do with him... it just happened.

2. If a new medicine were developed that would cure arthritis but cause a fatal reaction in 1 percent of those who took it, would you want it to be released to the public?:
There are a lot of things that can cause fatal reactions in 1% of people. As long as it's well-publicized and only available by prescription, i think that's perfectly ok.

3. If you were able to live to the age of 90 and retain either the body or the mind of a 30-year-old for the last 60 years of your life, which would you want?:
Body, because I can do the brain thing myself. The trick is to keep it active.

4. If at birth you could select the profession your child would eventually pursue, would you do so?:
No; that's a horrible thing to do. I would have no way of knowing what his/her strengths and interests would be.

5. If you knew there would be a nuclear war in one week, what would you do?:
Good question. Probably just keep living my life as well as I could, maybe make sure i got in touch with all my family and old friends first, in case anything happens to me or them. But other than that, there's not much you can do, ne?

6. Would you accept twenty years of extraordinary happiness and fulfillment if it meant you had to die at the end of the period?:
No. Life is not life if it's not occasionally difficult. You have to take the good with the bad and /that's/ what makes it fulfilling.

7. If the person you were engaged to marry had an accident and became a paraplegic, would you go through with the marriage or back out of it?:
Yes. It would make things difficult, but if our love couldn't survive that then we shouldn't be marrying.

8. Someone very close to you is in pain, paralyzed, and will die in a month:
Do everything i could to make them comfortable. In a situation like this i'd be pro-euthanaesia, but that's just so difficult to fanagle.

9. Given the choice of anyone in the world, who would want as your dinner guest?:
Anyone, you say? .... Emeril Lagasse. Or, if i can choose dead people, Julia Child. She's AWESOME!!

10. What is the worst psychological torture you can imagine suffering?:
Being prevented from helping someone I love.

11. You and a person you love deeply are placed in separate rooms with a button next to each of you. You know that you will both be killed unless one of you presses the button before 60 minutes pass; furthermore, the first to press the button will save the other person, but will immediately be killed. What do you think you would do?:
I'd like to say I'd press the button right away, but I will admit I'm sometimes a selfish person, so I hope i'd press my button as soon as i could.

12. Would you be willing to go to a slaughter house and kill a cow?:
Personally, no. Unless there was something REALLY good in it for me. But just to eat it? No. I like tofu also.

13. For $20,000 would you go for 3 months without washing, brushing your teeth, and using deodorant?:
$20,000, no. $100,000, yes.

14. Which of these restrictions could you best tolerate: leaving the country permanently or never leaving the state in which you now live?:
I think.... staying in WI. But I'd have trouble with either.

15. If you could choose the sex and physical appearance of your soon-to-be-born child, would you do it?:
Probably not. I mean, gender matters less and less in today's world (thank God), and a lot of people (that I know, anyhow) don't care that much about your appearance.

16. Would you be willing to decrease your life expectancy by 5 years if you could become extremely attractive?:
Hell no!

17. If your friends and acquaintances were willing to bluntly tell you what they really think of you, would you want them to?:
Of course. And i frequently ask them to.

18. Would it disturb you much if, upon your death, your body were simply thrown into the woods and left to rot?:
Not disturb so much as disappoint.

No, it won't change anything. You die, you die, whether or not you know it's co...
