And now I'm nervous. It's not the nude thing that making me nervous, it's the poses that are making me nervous. What if I can't hold a pose for long? What if I pull a muscle while posing? That would be embarrassing!!!! O_o

Maybe I'm overreacting. I just sent in the email like 5 minutes ago and maybe I wont get the job. They are probably looking for someone with more experience and who is taller.

I've been practicing in my room (with clothes on mind you) for like 10 minutes. I'm such a loser!


EDIT: So.......I just got an email back and I may be booked for some dates in November ( November: 5, 12, 19, 24).

My Schedule for this Semester.

So far so good. I like all the teachers and the classes look really fun, although Painting 3 may be a little tough given that I have to put over 150 hours into one painting. The books and supplies are putting a bit of a strain on my wallet, so I planning on calling up my old boss at The YALE bookstore to see if he can squeeze me in some hours. I really do hope so because I've already been to all the stores around the school and NONE of them are hiring. Not only that but I have to look for some scholarship money since I've just used up the recent one I got.

Getting scholarships is such a pain. You apply for like 50 and only get one, and it's the cheapest scholarship you applied for. Fuck me!

If you haven't heard the news my PS3 died on me a couple of weeks ago. I was planning on buying another PS3 today until I heard that the new PS3 Slim was coming out in a couple of weeks. The PS3 Slim is just as powerful as the old PS3, is 33% smaller and 36% lighter, and has a 120GB hard drive (plus you can add more without breaking your warranty now)!!! And to top it all off it's only $299!!! There is a $100 dollar price drop for all the PS3s now!!! O_o This is amazing!!

On the flip side, it still is not backwards compatible and you can't get a second operating system like Linux (which I didn't use anyway so it doesn't bother me).

If you have been debating on getting either a 360 or PS3, get a fuckin' PS3!! Honestly, I own both and ps3 owns in hardware. Plus if you already have a kick ass computer like me you don't need a 360 since all 360 exclusives are on PC (which are cheaper and have more content). But you can't get PS3 exclusives anywhere else but on the PS3. And the PS3 has a nice variety of exclusive titles: Little Big Planet (awesome!!), Uncharted (awesome story and characters), God of War 3 (need I say more?), Final Fantasy XIII versus, Killzone 2, MGS4, Ratchet and Clank 5, Infamous, and Valkyria Chronicles (Lovely story and unique battle system and tons of lovable cute characters!!).

Not only that but any games that were first on 360 and switched over to PS3 gets a complete upgrade in content and in one case voice acting.

Another good thing about the ps3 is that it is region free. Meaning if a game doesn't come out in the US it's no problem. I can just import it and everything, like menus and stuff, will still be in English. I've seen some folks do this with the new Siren game.


I'm totally getting the PS3 slim!!

But let me do a little bit more research first.

I thought both those videos were pretty funny so I started to look at his other videos. He happens to be a BIG gamer; you can tell just by looking at his room how much he loves video games and he has done a good number of videos on the PS3 and Games. He talks about the benefits of owning a PS3 rather than a 360. And no he doesn't make the stupid fanboy arguments. He actually makes some GREAT points that I haven't heard from anyone! He talks about the technology and the costs of buying the equipment for the consoles. I'm not into the whole console war thing, I just thought the things he pointed out were very interesting.

I don't know if you guys/gals ever watch videos on Youtube of other artist drawing and/or painting. I know I do whenever I'm really unmotivated but want to get something done. There's one Youtuber by the name of digitalbobert who I find to be the most motivating. Unlike the other artist on Youtube he talks about his life experiences as an artist and the mindset he had during his journey. I find it to be incredibly inspirational; he has such a way with words. He also has a sweet, soft, gentle voice so you can listen to him and draw without getting annoyed. I really do take what he says to heart. I've decided that once I get a car I was going to take trips to Aquariums and Zoos on my days off just to draw- I'm really going to try my best to do so.
