Lolz, I no longer have a life. XD

I had to quit Gamestop. Which makes my tears flow like waterfalls. BUT. I now work at Fry's, which is cool because I get more moneys. I just wish it didn't take like...two hours to get there. Fuck you, public transit. Fuck. You.

I miss video games the most, I think. Especially Persona 3. But soon I shall make an AWESOME MUSIC VIDEOOOOO and life will be good. Two vids, actually, now that I have all the raw footage. (Which can't be found on the internets, ohohohoho~)

Speaking of VGs, I'm jazzed about dub!re:CoM, and have it about half paid off. Not sure if want Aki bein' Marly, but we'll see how it goes. I just hope Yuri Lowenthal The Truly Awesome Who I Met At Comic-Con plays Zexion.

So I was supposed to have posted this yesterday, but I forgot.

So I'm at work, right, and the phone rings. My coworker Heather answers it, and I'm sitting right next to her, and she suddenly starts trying really really hard not to laugh. She then repeats the customer's request:

"How much would I get for trading in a Nintendo DS memory card?"

And puts the phone on hold so that we can lawl our fucking asses off. XDDD

In fact, Heather was laughing so hard she had to hand the phone to me to finish the call. And here's the kicker -- he didn't say a WORD to me about what he'd asked her. I think he knew we were laughing at him. XD

Also. FUCK YEAH MY FINAL FANTASY COLLECTION IS COMPLEATISH. I have filled the VII-y gap. Now I just need X, and I will have them all, and then I will be happyplz. :V

On a different note, Shadow of the Colossus is ttly on its way, and then I will play through the NewGamePlus Josh has so kindly provided for me~ YAY ADVENTURE. :V

I still need to play God of War II and Devil Summoner, too. They haven't even been in my PS2 yet. :c Shame on me. I also need to finish all the other freakin' games I have. @@ Blarg.

So like five million years after I get Crisis Core I finally picked it up.

Zack is officially the best person ever. I love him to itty-bitty pieces.

HAY GAIZ I LEVELLED UP YESTERDAY.

I gotted some internetz for mah birfdayz. :V

Actually, it's a wireless card.

BUT IT LEADS HERE, SO LIFE'S COOL.

I also got an artdump, of all things. O: Mii and Tsuin and Kathryn and Josh and even Michael gave me artz, most of which I can actually put up on my wall! Josh also got me Crisis Core, which I still haven't gotten the chance to play, even though I really really want to.

Thursday I went modelling for one of my coworkers who's in photography school, and after that we went to the Pacific East Mall (somewhere near Vallejo, I think) and he bought me a Kairi for my birthday so now Roxas has a girlfriend. :> Friday Mii came over and I forgotted what we did all day (I think it was sleep'd) and Saturday we had an EPIC PORTAL-FILLED PARTY at my mom's house (there was cake that wasn't a lie!) and Sunday Spike came over to chill with us (Spike r mah new frend) and Monday my actual birthday Mii had to go home. :< Booooo. BUT NEXT WEEK'S THE CHERRY BLOSSOM FESTIVAL. SO THAT'S AWESOME. (I still hope they have takoyaki.)

Today was nice. I got a card from my grandparents with $20 for my favourite store enclosed. Then me and my dad and Sam went to Fry's where I got my wireless card all shinynew, and I bought myself a cheapie game controller for my computer so my SNES roms will be easier to play. :> Now all I need is Sims 2 and my life will be compleat, huzzah~

I love my new computer~ Even if it has no intarwebz yet. I still need a wireless USB adapter thingy and another hard drive for backup, but other than that life is shiny~

Story behind this being my grandparents sent us a computer some months ago, with the one condition of our using it being we take out the two hard drives sitting in there and turn them into something dead and unusable forever. My dad, sometime last week, told me that if I could get replacement hard drives for it, it was all mine.

So I sent out the good word, and a couple days later my good friend ~Josh42 procured for me a brand-new shiny hard drive that he had lying around. The day after, I installed it, and now here I am with a shiny whizzy computerbox all for my own, with Flash and Dreamweaver and Photoshop and everything.

I still have to use my dad's laptop for internetting and such, as well as actually downloading all the crap I need for this baby to run right, but once it's up and running I'll never have to use this thing again, I hope. >_>

Although it is in a great spot to watch the telly from.

(The moral of today's story is: don't pick the scabs on your elbows. They bleed. A lot. And you can't lick them.)

I'm running off a boot disk as I type, as there's something the matter with the one we have installed; there's currently no way to get to all the files on our hard disk. It's not so terrible for me, I suppose, but I don't know what my dad's got on his end.

Axel and Reno from "FF7 Advent Children" have the same seiyuu, and even almost the same appearance and image. Did you intend that?
To me, Axel is an existence close to Reno, created in the same concept, but they are different people. Those two are different people but subconsciously alike. I wanted to see how it would be to have completely different characters that are really similar to each other but hold different kind of roles in different worlds.

Got a couple new games since y'all last saw me. Which is why y'all haven't seen me. One of em I got free since no one else in my store had a DS, and the other for 30 cents, an old GBA, and some ancient Gameboy games. (Trade in your old shit at Gamestop/SoftwareEtc/whateverthefuckelsewe'reknownas, guys. TOTALLY WORTH IT.) My snazzy game case is full now, meanin' thar's gonna be some issuez come 358/2 Days tiem. Or maybe xmas.

ANYWAY. Start with the free one. Phantom Hourglass? Fun as all living funny fun. Fun. FINNY fun, even. But then, it's a Zelda game. Course it's gonna be fun. (Not as fun without sound, though.) Linebeck is in solid third for best Zelda sidekick evar, after Sheik and Midna. He and the fairy ttly don't get along and it's awesome every time. But that is not the best part. The win part is the way this game uses like...EVERY PART of the DS. There's even one thing where you have to close and reopen the thing to put a thingy on your map. (Thanks for tipping me off on that, Josh. I never woulda figured that out on my own. XD) There's shit you can only defeat if you yell/blow into the mic at it, blow dust off maps, etc etc. (The mic is actually used a lot in this game.) The bow and arrow controls kinda rly suck, but the tell-bombs-where-to-land-and-they-actually-land-there part makes up for it. I also like the shovel.

UNFORTUNATELY. I have been distracted by my only-slightly-less-expensive newest acquisition which, had 7 through 9 not been stolen and/or lost, would complete my "I HAVE FINAL FANTASIES ONE THROUGH NINE" collection. As it stands I now have 1-6, 9 (thanks to a coworker), and collector'sedition!12. 10 and a new copy of 8 are within my reach, but I will never even touch 11. An online Final Fantasy is not a Final Fantasy. X-2 can kiss my ass, too. 7, though...7 is so fucking expensive these days I think I'm probably never going to own it, which makes me a very sad kitty indeed.
The acquisition is Final Fantasy III, by the way. Which is distracting and addictive.

I should go play Dawn of Mana.

Okay, so we(Rai and I) have a really important question for you guys pertaining to OthersÂ Road.
A detailed, thought-out response to this journal would be highly appreciated, and responded to as promptly as possible.

That question is why donÂt you guys like Olivia? Seriously. Is it because you think sheÂs badly written, or because you donÂt like her personality, or is it something else?

Over half the readers who have commented on the story have left negative opinions of Olivia. As a character designer, I personally find this worrisome, especially since Rose is being so well-received in comparison. Neither of us sees any problems with Olivia as she is now, and if we come across them, we will do our best to work them out and fix them, just as we did before we even started writing the story.

Thank you in advance for your input; we value it greatly -- after all, if we didnÂt, this issue wouldnÂt bother us.

ANYWAY, my fellow Kingdom Hearts geeks, my darling Rai-muffin pointed out something to me while we were watching this movie, and I can't believe no one's noticed it beforehand.

Lucius Malfoy looks almost uncannily like Vexen.

Ridiculously picky, mostly about texture. Actually, almost entirely about texture. I won't eat sashimi or unagi because of the texture, even though I really like how it tastes. I don't like hard pretzels cause they taste like sand, and I'm a wuss about spicy food.

6. What do you do outside the internets?
Go to school, go to work, come to one of my various homes (I have like three, counting Rai's house) and play on the internets.

Kingdom Hearts, obviously. Fushigi Yuugi and Yoroiden Samurai Troopers big time, and of course practically everything CLAMP pushes out, with a bit of Princess Tutu on the side. Thinking of dabbling slightly in Bleach, fairly knowledgeable about certain characters in Naruto.

9. What attracted you to yaoi?
Y'know, I'm not sure. I have a gay uncle or two. c: I think my first pairing was when I was around 10 or 11, and it was in an RP. As for my KH thing, the look Riku gave Sora at the end of KH1 really cinched it for me. That look that says ÂI love you so much, but I'll never see you again.Â And then in a plotbunny I had for another RP, Emyd and Ienzo gravitated towards one another without my intention, leading me to think I'd made the pairing up myself(there wasn't much in the way of Zemyx in those days).

10. How gay are you for reals?
Personally? I can't stand anyone even looking at me. >>; Because looking means they'd rather be touching, and touching disgusts me. I'm not sexually attracted to anything, male or female; I simply find both very aesthetically pleasing. I don't know if that counts.
