Hey folks! To those who answered my survey, I really appreciate it. I'm going to be drawing some Pokemon cards for a playing card Clubs suite and I needed 9 types (The other 4 cards are gonna be Q = girl trainers, K = boy trainers, J = rivals, A = legendaries) for each numbered card. AUGH House Season 6 premier made me want to cry. Augh a lot of things in that episode made me so sad and remorseful and it was a bitter and excellent start of the season!

The Drawbridge

As he left for a visit to his outlying districts, the jealous baron warned his pretty wife: "Do not leave the castle while I am gone, or I will punish you severely when I return!". But as the hours passed, the young baroness grew lonely, and despite her husband's warning she decided to visit her lover, who lived in the countryside nearby.
The castle was situated on an island in a wide, fast-flowing river. A drawbridge linked the island to the mainland at the narrowest point in the river.
"Surely my husband will not return before dawn," she thought, and ordered her servants to lower the drawbridge and leave it down until she returned.
After spending several pleasant hours with her lover, the baroness returned to the drawbridge only to find it blocked by the gateman waving a long, cruel knife.
"Do not attempt to cross this bridge, baroness, or I will kill you," he cried, "The baron ordered me to do so."
Fearing for her life, the baroness returned to her lover and asked him for help.
"Our relationship is only a romantic one," he said. "I will not help."
The baroness then sought out a boatman on the river, explained her plight to him, and asked him to take her across the river in this boat.
"I will do it, but only if you can pay me my fee of five Marks."
"But I have no money with me!" the baroness protested.
"That is too bad. No money, no ride," the boatman said flatly.
Her fear growing, the baroness ran crying to the home of a friend. After explaining her desperate situation, she begged her friend for enough money to pay the boatman his fee.
"If you had not disobeyed your husband, this would not have happened," her friend said. "I will give you no money."
With dawn approaching, and her last resource exhausted, the baroness returned to the bridge in desperation, attempted to cross the castle and was killed by the gateman.

YEAUH! We're totally rockin' the 9 cosplay at Fanime 2010, so watch out Californians! I'm going to keep a track of our costume progress on this here journal so our group can keep in touch online, since we're scattered across places and meeting will be sparse for some. Right now we're missing a 2 and we're trying to confirm a 7, but this project's started enough to be on launch! 9 was great!! I loved the characters, the animation and art was ASTOUNDING, but the plot was short-lived when Acker had so much to go from!! But all in all it was amazing and it tickled my imagination, nearly enough to get onto my list of favorite movies. 3, 4 and 7 were my favorites though.

Inglourious Basterds, on the other hand, I couldn't really stand. This might be a bit of stretch since I only saw 50 minutes of it, but really? I can understand that many critics say you must understand the 'sophisticated' venue of witty dialogue and as do many readers, but it just didn't fancy my tastes, and by the end of the near-hour I was hungry as hell. The Bear Jew was rad though, since he pretty much had the edification (or the lack thereof?) of a TF2 Scout.
