T: Hey there!
N: Hello.

So, gentlemen, I understand that you were recently involved in the liberation of Vyron from Relagian forces.

N: That's correct. We were able to-
T: Damn straight, skippy! I went two-on-one with an Overseer and a devastator! You hear me? A friggin' devastator!

T: Go ahead.

1. What about you is heroic?
T: We're Wardens. We keep the peace across the center nations.
N: Indeed. You could call us the final word on justice in Juantir, Arkos, and Baristod.

2. What about you is social? What do you like about people?
T: I find the act of being among various groups of people an enlightening and enjoyable experience.
N: I agree. It's always great to learn something new.

3. Of what benefit could you be to the current group?
T: I'm the captain of my crew. Without me, they fall to pieces.
N: I actually want to talk to you about that... oh, and I'm the highest ranking field agent in the Tribunal.

4. Why would you choose to join the current group?
T: I didn't "choose" nothing! Somewhat in bookkeeping managed to mistake me for a corpse and I got kicked out of the Tribunal! Now I run around with a group of degenerates keeping this little brat from being hacked to pieces.
N: I wanted to tell you that I could have you re-instated-
T: Not now.

5. Invent an adventure/plot that your character would actively undertake (as opposed to just tagging along)?
T: : Plot just finds me! I can just be going to get a drink, and some eight-hundred pound gorilla will smash my face in for supposedly sleeping with his girlfriend some years back!
N: : *sigh* If I had to choose, I'd say that the two of us would probably partake in some treasure hunt. Perhaps the lost gold of King Miidaeus?

1. What is your real, birth name? What name do you use?
T: Tristan L. Daon. The "L" stands for Landon, and I go by my first name.
N: Nathaniel Storm. My friends call me Nathan.

2. Do you have a nickname? What is it, and where did you get it?
T: My crew calls me "Captain" or "sir". If you're a lady, you can use the former of those two in a more... intimate context.
N: Didn't they used to call you "L for 'lightweight' " back at the academy.
T: Shut up. Your middle name's "Ocher".
N: I fail to see how that's embarrassing.

3. What do you look like? (Include height, weight, hair, eyes, skin, apparent age, and distinguishing features)
T: I'm two meters tall (six feet) with green eyes brown hair. I'm twenty-six years old, and my skin's fairly light. I've also got this black, chitonous glove-thing stuck to my arm at the moment. I'm doing my best to try and get it off.
N: Also two meters tall, with brown eyes and blonde hair. Twenty-five years old, and my pyromancing leaves me with tanned skin.

4. How do you dress most of the time?
T: I have this brown jacket with scarlet lining that I enjoy very much.
N: I prefer the black coat that is standard uniform for us Wardens.

5. How do you "dress up?"
T: Please don't ask. I had a bad experience with dressing fancy this past week.
N: Well, aren't we sensitive? I would comb back my hair to guss up for that sort of social gathering.

6. How do you "dress down?"
T: I don't bathe.
N: I wear less- wait. Did you bathe today?

7. What do you wear when you go to sleep?
T: Depends on who I'm going to sleep with.

...gee, the mad scientist in service to the one man that wants her dead or her grumpy bodyguard? Who could possibly have kidnapped Belle?

The reason Nero issued the challenge was to prove his mental superiority to Myra, and (being a sore winner) gets a punch in the teeth afterwards.

4.) Who doesn't like to play Pokemon? I bet Ten (Murdoc) has some great Pokemon! What are they?
To answer your question, Murdoc would hate Pokemon. But if he had to choose, they'd probably be Rattata, Arbok, Beedrill, and Fearow.

5.) How does Three (Jacques) like to gussy up for a date?
Jacques would spend an alarming amount of time grooming himself, and totally use up the group's hygienic supplies.

6.) Five (Myra) and Two (Nathan) take a leisurely vacation together. Where do they go?
Somewhere cold (to Myra's chagrin). To the point of constant snow in fact, as Nathan's pyromancing combined with tropical weather would give him heat stroke.

7.) Nine (Masayaf) prepares dinner for Six (Nero)! What do they make?
A nicely sauteed chent dinner with a slight POISON GLAZE!

8.) Ten (Murdoc) and Three (Jacques) team up. What happens?
Murdoc tricks Jacques into stealing some priceless relic for him, and then skips out on the promised payment.

9.) Seven (Baine), Ten (Murdoc), Eight (Komah), and One (Tristan) all have a sitcom together. What is it called?
Three Knives in One Back!

10.) Is One (Tristan) more accustomed to tangoing, waltzing, or freestyling?
Tango! Because Tristan is adamant on being the suave type.

OHGODNO!!!

The elephant ride, partially his pyromancing would probably set the whole balloon aflame by accident, but mostly because riding an elephant would make him feel regal.

The people he works with. Either totally incompetent, or out to kill him.

14.) Eight (Komah), Three (Jacques), Five (Myra), and One (Tristan) go out boozing. What happens?
They get Komah totally plastered, and then exact horrible vengeance. Komah wakes up the next morning alone and naked in a back-alley dumpster.

15.) And finally, would Six (Nero) save Four (Belle) or Nine (Masayaf), if they were both in great danger and he/she could only save one?
Nero would save Belle if only because he hates Masayaf, but also because her being safe serves his purposes.

Among the attendees at my local church there is a very nice girl that is both my age and get along with me very well. After giving much thought to the matter I decided to use what money I had left over from Christmas to take her to the theatre. On the day I intended to make my proposal, she walks into the break room... and on her arm is a man a foot taller than me with a head as polished as a cue ball. I come to find out that this bald stranger is in fact her 30-YEAR-OLD BOYFRIEND which she had told no one about until that very day. Needless to say, she no longer holds the appeal to me as she did before. I mean, come on, thirty? *sigh*

After my internment in the local learning center that the stiffs call "skaa-ool", I will usually join my two friends (whose real names I shall withhold, thus we shall call them Ernest and Algernon) for a good round of Soul Calibur... or Call of Duty... or (recently) Little Big Planet. Today though, Algernon's sister approaches us with her things in hand; we shall call her "Cecily". Cecily leaves her things with Algy and asks him to take them home for her as she will not be needing them. Twenty minutes pass and we decide that it's time for video games. We get up, and Algy and Ernest immediately start bickering about who will carry what of Cecily's. After a few minutes of this idocy, I sigh in annoyance and grab all of Cecily's things myself so that we might depart. As we walk to Algy's car, both of my comrades begin taunting my state of carrying Cecily's things (which included her purse). Somehow, the yard teacher, whom we shall call "Chasuble", get's in on the merrymaking, taunting me as well. This goes on for several minutes, until we cross paths with Cecily herself, whereupon she exclaims, "Sam, you look hot carrying my purse!" At that point, I was unsure of whether it was a compliment or a further jab at my masculinity, she claiming that it was both.

Is it just me, or is my life reminiscint of a sitcom?

1.) They're both very good at what they do.

1.) Baine = Evil, Tristan = ...not evil.
2.) Baine's an assassin, Tristan is a soldier.
3.) Baine has a few armies at his disposal, Tristan just has his ragtag crew of outlaws

Baine: Tristan, my friend, it's good to see you.

Not really. Baine's a section 8, and Tristan just gets the job done. If anything, Tristan would be the zombie-making mercenary, and Baine would kill him so he could take his job.

Question 9: Do you associate them with any animals?
Tristan: a wolf.
Baine: a tiger.

Question 10: What are the greatest Sins (by that we mean Seven Deadlies) of your protagonist and antagonist?
Tristan's greatest would be Sloth (he doesn't like to take responsibility for much of anything). Baine is Wrath, I'll let you figure out why.

Question 11: Update them to modern times if they're not already. Who are they now?
Tristan: a con-artist who fell ass-first into a conspiracy.
Baine: a mercenary hired by big-business to prevent anyone from discovering that their product strengthens global warming.

Question 12: Favored method of transportation for the protagonist and antagonist?
Tristan: Airship (Serenity Style).
Baine: Airship (Star Destroyer Style).

Question 13: Favored weapon(s) of choice?
Tristan: Broadsword force-edge with a blue glow.

After great observation, I have arrived at the conclusion that friends are troublesome. Allow me to explain. I am planning a beach potluck with my compatriot, when the owner of my soul calls me. She says that she is happy to join us on the day of beach frivolity but then is dismayed when she hears her former boyfriend of one and a half years may be attending. While she assured me that she didn't want me put me in a situation where I would have to choose between them, that confrontation is inevitable. The situation has yet to be resolved.

I'm going to be attending PAX this year. Shout if you'll also be there.
