What's up?

So, Supanova rocked. We met a Tifa and a Reno on the train up which was fun. And cute. Cuz they missed the train. Twice. Hehheh. But it was awesomeness. I know we weren't the best cosplayers there by far, but everyone else was dressed so well gyaah it was much fun >_<.

I can't believe nobody commented on the awesomeness of the Rei cosplayer.

Seriously, contacts and everything, she rocked.

So, Animania on Saturday. Hehheh, going as Robin from Witch Hunter Robin and for once in my life i'm actually ordering...so now i can wear the dress after the con : 3 Which i plan to do. Because it rocks and i am in love with it.

Too bad she doesn't have a remotely normal hairstyle. Pipe cleaners!

BUT ANYWAY.

New ID. I was going through my stuff and i found the Tomoe cosplay from last year, and realised that it was actually pretty good...and that i didn't have many good photos, so i re-tried it on and took some. I'm such a nerd....hguh. Anyway, they are hesitantly placed after heavy editing on the ID.

And uhm, i'm doing this painting thing for my grandma which has taken so freaking long and i feel verrrry badd because her birthday was long ago and i'm taking so long tofinishitahh. -slap-

..Since i last made a journal. I missed Christmas AND the New Year, so i wish everyone a merry..er...both of those. Yep.

Ok, yay new year, er i'm trying to get into realism at the moment...or was. I'm not quite sure what happened. But any tips would be greatly appreciated. Especially...on shading...-die-.

Going to Supanova with friends, as.....Kisame. Ok shut up. I know he's blue. But i get a cool ass sword to lug around. If one has made the Akatuski coat...how do get the clouds on there? I mean i can understand how, but the white lining is annoying me...lots. Do you just make a white cloud that's bigger than the red on and stick it on?

You know how the front page used to have stuff that tonnes of people looked at and faved? Well, to be honest the 'most popular' section on the front page is just..e_e.

Some of the work on there is just...crap. I'm all for giving exposure to un-noticed artists but there are some REALLY quality artists around who don't have THEIR images on the front page. They don't even get a look.

I've recently developed this habit of renting out DVD 1 of different anime then obsessing over it, buying the second DVD, renting a new one of a different anime and loosing my old obsession!

I got into .hack//sign. I like it. Want more . But now it's Wolf's Rain as well. Why didn't anyone tell me that's so addictive? Oh and i had this thing for 'Get Backers' for a while there...Praise be to blockbuster.
