This was a very musical weekend, it was. On Saturday, we had the Ensemble Contest thing. I played a piano solo and a flute/clarinet duet here. Lisa played a solo, but she can talk about it. lol I played my solo at 8:48, so I had to get up early. T_T They rate your playing on random crap I can't remember.. lol You can get either a I, II, or III with I being the best. On my piano solo, I played the second movement of Sonatina in G by Beethoven. It's a bit of a watered down version from his, though. Anyways, I played it really well, so I got a I. Yay! OMG! I BET YOU HAVEN'T SEEN DAPHNE'S AWESOME DRAWINGS YET! I LAUGHED FOR A COUPLE MINUTES STRAIGHT! NO LIE! The first panel is right here: [link] . Rhone is my character. He's the one with the write fringe and gray shirt. He's saying "OH SH--". In this picture, Rhone is his regular age of about 24. Daphne ages him ten years in the second panel.. And some strange changes occur. I would also like to point out the Rhone does have blue eyeliner. Long story, but it naturally occurs on his skin. XD I also suggest you look at Daphne's character, Harry. The second panel is riiiiight.. Here. [link] I love this panel. It makes me laugh. A lot. Harry scares me with his manliness. Okay, I'm going to start out with the status on my requests... I'M SORRY! I'm procrastinating like CRAP. I'll finish them when I feel like it. I'm just lazy, I don't hate any of ya'll. The Spelling Bee was on Tuesday. I placed second.. D: No good.. But the winner won on the words "mahi mahi" and "spherical." "Spherical" was the winning word, and that makes me sad. I got out on some Spanish word that had a double L that I didn't expect. I should of, but I didn't. I almost won, too. D: You see, originally, I was going to win, so they gave me a word to spell as the "Anticipated Winner" word. I couldn't spell it, so the winner was back in the Bee.. And then she won. :'( I was really upset after the Bee.. I felt stupid and angry. OH. MY. GAWD. I almost gave this journal the same name as a previous one. I was going to name it "Journal Update, Wot?", but I looked down and noticed that it was the same as one I made on November 20. Show's how much my creativity is running out. DX

ANYWAYS, I did a splendid job on my English presentation. I haven't gotten a grade back, but I certainly feel like I did well. Plus, the teacher said I did well, which doesn't hurt the ego. The teacher had my classmates write down their comments on my presentation and give them to me. You were supposed to write down at least one strength, at least one thing I could improve on, and why or why not that classmate would read the book. It was completely anonymous, of course. My favorite comment is:
"KATIE
good speech
really good information
clear voice
good humor."
Yeah, that one really strokes my ego. Makes me feel all fuzzy inside. This one makes me sad:

Most of the comments were positive. I just displayed the more negative ones. XD There were a few that told me to talk louder, and two that said I talked too loud. I'm annoyed. Kayla and Aida recently got NX Cash. I guess I shouldn't be annoyed, but I guess it's jealousy. They're both way more than ten levels lower than me. Kayla wouldn't even be level 20 without my training. Seriously. I trained her from level 20 to 25, and from 26 to 27. I swear. I had Cash Shop money for a while, and I'm happy with my new hair and eyes. X3 So awesome. I have about five dollars left to revive my pet and do other stuff, but I'm using that later. X3

Kayla has the same hair as me. Same hair. Same color. Different eyes.

And Aida's getting married, apparently. Level seventeen and trying to marry. (She's also twelve years old.) I thought about marriage for a bit, but then I decided against it. Waste of book store money. XD

Oh, yeah. Daphne, if you have time, please get on. XD

Otherwise, CHRISTMAS WAS TEH PWNSOME! I got lotsa crap that I want to brag about. If you don't want to read my bragging, please stop reading. I'm not going to talk about anything else.

I'll start out with the smaller presents and work up to the big one. XD In my countdown, I'm only counting the presents from my parents. XD

First was candy. Yay candy.

Next is a FMA calender. Yay! Apparently, my mom bought it when we were at a book store. While I was there.

Some drawing supplies come next. Markers and a sketch book. XD I've drawn a cool-looking dude with black and blue hair, Lunamon, Takatomon saying "CAPS LOCK IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL [/sarcasm]", Mum(who's a demon Egyptian), and Takatomon smiling. XD I like Takatomon.

After that is my Sora doll. I already have a Sora doll, but this one is his KHII clothes. X3 It goes with my Roxas and Axel dolls.

Some drawing supplies come next. Markers and a sketch book. XD

I also got a Sora action figure. I already had one, but this is MASTER FORM! X3 Yesh! It came with two awesome sauce Keyblades! One was the Pride Lands Keyblade. It has a lion on it. The other is from the Mulan world. It had a eastern-type helmet on it. They look so awesome and detailed. The figure itself is aweeeesome.

Next is a Bluetooth mouse. It goes with the next, final present.

COMPUTER. This is the big one. A new laptop. X3 It pwn big time. I got to open it early so my dad and me could install programs on it. Lisa got one too, you see. The laptop is a Dell Inspiron. It has a wider screen than normal and a 292 Gigabyte hard drive. I have used about 50 GB. lol I put all of my Naruto and VeggieTales on it. I'll never use all of that space.

I am now going to talk about the school play today. It is freshest in my mind, you see.

I think the choir should have sung a Gorillaz song. Maybe the Soulchild remix of 19-2000. That one has a bunch of things going on at the same time. And since it was a cappella, they could have some people singing the beat.. lol Their song choice was terrible. They sung a song that mentioned Jesus Christ about fifteen times. It was some version of "Noel," I think. I go to a public school. If I still went to a Catholic school, then they should do that. However, I go to a public school. If I was not Christian, I would find them singing that song very offensive. But that's just me, I guess..

We, the band, played our Christmas song. I'm pretty sure that the song didn't contain any religious stuff.. Well, besides that fact that it's a Christmas song.

Our dance squad.. They did things that my sister (~soft-pillow) has been doing since a very young age. For example, when the dancers did the splits, the audience went "Oooooh!" Also, one of the other people did a coffee grinder.. My sister has been able to do that for ages.

My birthday was teh awesome. Only, like, two people that I don't know in real life said "Happy birthday!" to me. *SOB* Cassie got a bunch of people to sign a sheet wishing me a happy birthday, though. That was really cool of her. Even three teachers signed it. OwO Not the English teacher that no one likes, though. Cassie probably didn't ask her, though. Said English teacher likes me. Probably because I'm an A student who doesn't talk much, does her work, and tries to be helpful when possible. I really hate being/feeling like a burden. But I am in PE.. One of the many reasons I dislike that class.. I just hate being/feeling unwanted.

Birthday

Tomorrow is my birthday!! I'm so excited!! I won't be on at all, naturally. I'm having Cassie and ~FlyingMarshmallows over. *Squee* They're both younger than me. One is just nearly two years younger than me. lol IT'S HARD TO FIND PEOPLE THAT ARE AS WEIRD AS ME/WEIRDER. Sorry if you're offended by my comment. You know who you are.


My mom bought me a cell phone.

My dad bought me flowers and stuffed animals. And a balloon

I don't know what else I'm getting, but it will rock. YES, I'M TOTALLY SPOILED.

Progress Report

Dang.. I got a B+ in Band. I'll just have to practice tests more. I took a test today, and I played it almost perfectly, so that should help. Everything else was A's. I got on the High Honor Roll last quarter. Yey.

Band Concert

It went really well. None of the snow fell on me, though. DX Our band director wore one of those springy Santa hats. It was really funny. The whole concert was fun.

Well.. No, I can't say that. We got scolded because of our unruliness. It's true. We are pretty uncontrollable. *sigh* She says she's never seen it like that.

You see, the new band director from the other school went out to conduct, so there was a brief moment where there was no director in the room with the eighth grade. When our band director got back, she yelled at us. She also scolded us at school. -_-

It also snowed on that day. It added to the Christmas spirit. ^_^

I got my Algebra test back, and it was a 99%. Woot! Checking really does help. My Algebra midterm grade is 97%! Double yay!

The whole experience could be described as ''surreal''. In an instant, there was food flying everywhere, but in the next, it was over. If those were thrown.. Ow...

My birthday is coming up.. It is the eighth of December. I'll make a journal on it.. Cassie wants to decorate my locker for my birthday, but I dunno if I want it to be decorated. *does best Professor Farnsworth voice* Good news, everyone! Katie has the next three days off for Thanksgiving break! This has nothing to do with me since I have to work all three days.

*cough* Yeah. Dunno if Professor Farnsworth would actually say anything other than "Good news, everyone!" Futurama still rocks.

I got a 95% on my Algebra test... I'm doing surprisingly well this quarter. Well, in English, I'm currently getting an 88%. I'll have to raise that. I take great pride in my English skills, so I expect no less than an A for myself. I just need to better on the spelling tests. That should raise my grade in no time! Those tests can be hard. One time, on a test I was correcting, this guy missed over half of them.. Ugh..

Am I the only one that likes that new folder system thing for your gallery? I like it. It's good for organizing things. I though you needed a subscription to use it, but I guess not. Shweet.

From organizing my stuff, I've noticed that most of my art is uncolored.. And most of it is fan art.. =_= That's it then!! I'm gonna work on more original art! I'm also gonna [try to] color more works.

Man.. You people should see my assignment notebook. Fan art and Rhone. That's all it is. I'm developing Rhone's story, but not promises on actually uploading it. I like his story, though. I just don't have any patience to write it down. =_=

The next date is four days before my birthday~

Hey, I got my report card. All A's. I didn't think I would get an A in Algebra.. I got two C's on the five tests we took... ^_^;; I guess turning in all the homework was enough to get it to an A. Maybe a low A, but still an A... I'm doing much better in Algebra this quarter. Yay! We've only taken two tests, and I got a 100% on one and a 95% on the other. Whee. I just have to check my answers thoroughly. Very thoroughly. Hooooo...

Teh friend drama was very low today, thankfully.

Yes, yes. She is. Do you know why? Well, she'll explain, but she needs to stop referring to herself in the third person first.

I finally got that English project off my back! Man, I probably didn't do so well, but it's over and done. I ended up presenting by myself because one of my partners was gone and the other didn't have her report. >.< I talked really quickly and quietly, but honestly, I don't care.

I'm gonna have to take my Algebra test tomorrow.. I missed school on Tuesday. I was sick.. Man, my head, ears, and throat really hurt hurts. Well, my head no longer hurts, but me ears and throat do. I just got back from the doctor's office, actually. There's no infections or strep throat, but I got some Amoxicillin. That stuff's for infections.. Apparently my nose was pretty blocked up (or swollen?), too, so I got some nasal spray.

Cassie(one of my friends) is getting on my nerves. Seriously, I wanted to hit her in the head with my flute. Hey, I'm not that violent all the time! She just kept ignoring me. Girls don't like being ignored. T_T Boys, remember that. Girls don't like being ignored. Anyways, I kept trying to talk to her, but she wouldn't listen to me. She seems to have no interest in what I have to say right now.. And I don't mean this happened just today. This has been happening for a while when I think about it. Well, she is a teenager.. Teenagers can tend to think their the center of the world. And better than everyone else. Yes, I can see when I've exhibited those symptoms. Hmm.. Was that the correct choice of word? Symptoms... Maybe the symptoms of teenagerism. Oh, wait, that doesn't exist? Darn.

I have two different ideas for some spiffy stories. The first is about Rhone and his curse. Yup, yup. He has a sad story. : ( I'm planning on killing him in the end. Then bringing him back, maybe. The next is kind of a sarcastic story about the internet. You know, like, memes and stuff? I was thinking this girl landed in the middle of a field. This one dude or lady will show her around. It's a really sarcastic kind of story... XD It's gonna have some sarcastic humor that's gonna make fun of everything. I'm thinking of making the main character lose and end the story with the antagonist saying, "Remember, [enter character name here], Fangirls never lose."

We went to see Weird Al in concert yesterday (Saturday). We agree this wasn't his best concert, but his concerts still tend to be generally awesome. His encore song wasn't "Yoda". D= He did "Albuquerque" instead. That song is only a good encore song in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It's just too long otherwise.

Okay, so, my parents(yeah, BOTH of them), my sister, and I went to Great America(amusement park) and it was very fun. I really suggest the Batman ride. DO NOT GO ON THE SUPERMAN RIDE IF YOU WANT TO WAIT TWO AND A HALF HOURS! The sign lies, it's two and a half hours of dehydrated fun. Seriously, at the end of the line, I stopped sweating, and I got light-headed and dizzy. My dad said it was low blood sugar. This meant we'd have to have lunch right after the ride. Well, we would've anyways because it was 2:40 PM. XD

The burger place was good. They had good fries. We bought two cups that you could refill anywhere in the park for a dollar. We stole one free refill for each cup. lol

We had this awesomely funny conversation about our school and the IDs they make us wear. We said that we should start a business of selling fake IDs for $2. The normal price for an ID is $3, and they would only cost a dollar to make. WE COULD REEL IN THE CASH! However, we would have to make the kids stay quiet. There are two options for this. The first is.. MAFIA STYLE! This means to beat up/kill any kid that squeals so that the rest won't. MIDDLE SCHOOL ORGANIZED CRIME! XD The second is to keep our faces and voices hidden and operate under more than one person so no one would know who it was. Of course, we're just kidding..

THE BATMAN RIDE IS FREAKING AWESOME! As my dad would say, "We pulled a few G's." It was awesome. The wait was only an hour, too. I highly suggest it if you're going there.

There are also other cool rides, of course. They're all cool. I GOT ME A PINK CAP AND A JESTER HAT! YAY! I can picture it now. On crazy hat day at school, I'll be wearing my hat, and it will jingle. The teacher will be, like, "Katie, take that hat off." lol

Yeah, so, it's raining and thundering pretty hard right now.

It started at school, and they made us go into the bathrooms to be safe. 10-15 people in one one-person bathroom. Not fun. Plus, I am terrified of tornadoes. When there's a small chance of one, I totally freak out..I get sick. Like, losing-my-lunch sick. Luckily, I didn't puke OR cry. Whoot! YOU SHOULD SEE THE FLOODING! The river nearby us is very, very close, and there are puddles all around it. On a better note, the grass is very green.

I MIGHT NOT GET ART CLASS NEXT YEAR! I really hate my school. Guess what I get instead. COOKING AND 'SHOP CLASS! Whoohoo. I get to learn to bake. And to make a bird house. And perhaps some stuff I already know on the computer. Oh, god, I hope I don't get Computer Tech or whatever it's called. I already know how to do stuff a lot of people don't know on the computer. NEITHER EXCEL OR POWERPOINT STAND A CHANCE AGAINST MEEE! I really wanted Graphic Arts or regular Art. I seriously cried when I heard. I don't cry much. I'm nearly willing to drop Band OR Algebra to get Art. I might as well have done a second language. You know what? My dad is right: Public schools aren't built for smart people. They're built for the people who take just Art or just Band or just Algebra, but not all three. Katie sad.

Also, I share a PE period with my sister. In 6th grade. I'm in 8th grade. ;_;

I actually got on my IMs... Liek no way. Hm... No one reads my journals, so I'll just randomly babble on and stuff. Yuuup. Randomly talking because no one reads my journals... I wonder if anyone actually subscribes to m journals... That would be a laugh.. Hahahahaha. Ha.

Also! I got a random idea for a FanFic. It involves Maple Story! It kinda takes things from Maple Story and pretends its real life. I'm having trouble with the GMs though. I'm trying to make them seem like the law keepers... Like, they have godly power and use it to maintain the peace. They even have the power to "Ban" people. I think I'm gonna describe it like making some one's body and mind cease to exist. Their only remaining part of their body would be their soul, which would be transported via magic to a new body and mind in Maple Island. I know this seems cruel, but it is only reserved as a punishment for the worst of criminals. Since their mind was destroyed, they are clean slate, with no memories of their previous life. Of course, if a mommy and daddy love each other veeery much, they can have a kid. After the kid is so many years old, they go to Maple Island to train to get a job.

The FanFic itself will be drawn every even chapter, so it's more of a FanFicomic. XD

So... I watched the last episode (of the series) of Danny Phantom yesterday... It had a happy ending, but I still feel sad. I got one of those hormone-y sick feelings in my stomach for a few hours afterwards. And right now because I'm talking about it. Hee hee. I do wuv (not real wuv, just the "like a friend" wuv ) Danny, and I will miss him.

Day Eleven

This was the historic day! We drove from Newark, New Jersey to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In Philadelphia, we took a tour of Independence Hall a.k.a. The Ol' State House. They had that one famous painting of all them people signing the Declaration of Independence. Thus the name "Independence Hall." Ohnoes. George Washington is cool, dude. After that, we sawed the Liberty Bell. Apparently, this was the second of two bells. The first one cracked, so they replaced it. However, the second one also broke, but they kept it. Yayaya.

Day Twelve

This was the last day of any vacationing. D= We went to Hershey, Pennsylvania. We bought some stuff and took a tour. It was a simulated tour, because they can't afford to show us their actual plant. It had singing cows. Yaayz. They had one of the cows take a picture of you at the end. XD My mom said she liked that picture of her, my sister smiled, and I made a really scared face. XD They hadn't known I'd done that until we looked at the picture. It was really funny because I pulled it off perfectly. XD

Day Thirteen

We drove today. I got home and wrote this. We also purchased the next Harry Potter book. I'm done now...

This was really fun, and I'm glad I went.

Day Nine

Nintendo World~~ Well, not yet. We went to the World Trade Center site, but there was, like, a wall around it, so we couldn't see it. There was a thing that showed what they were building. It looked interesting. Next, we went to Nintendo World! Yipee! I bought a doll of K.K. Slider from Animal Crossing, a demorphed doll of Latias, an electronic brown-colored lab, (it was a little dog that would bark, wag its tail, and move its head if you talked to it) and a mug with various Mario characters on it. I also bought Cassie a little Dalmation plush. I got another friend who hates it when I use his/her name on the internet a mug with Link on it. I do hope they like their gifts. We went to the NBC store next. We bought my dad a mug that said, "Frak" on it. He likes saying "Frak" and likes Stargate-SG1 as well. We were originally going to buy him a shirt that said, "Frak Off" on it, but they didn't have it in his size. D= My sister got some crap as well. We went to a Build-A-Bear Workshop next. I got a T-Shirt that said "I < 3 New York" on it and a little sequinsed skirt to go with it for my bear. I also go a Statue of Liberty getup and a Queen outfit. I like it. It came with a crown that was attched to your bear's ears. We ate lunch at TGI Fridays. It was seriously expensive. Seriously, seriously expensive. Eep. Nextly, we took the Night Tour of New York. It was pretty. I'll bring pictures as soon as I can.

Day Ten

Today, we wadered around New York. We ate at a place called Mars 2112. It had an interstellar atmosphere. At night, we went to the broadway play, "Mamma Mia." It was romantic, but funny. I enjoyed it.

I would write more, but my mom and sister say we have to go.

Day Seven

The trip is officially half over!! We basically did nothing this day. XD It was a drving day, though. We drove through... Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and briefly New York. In Rhode Island, we drove through Newport. We tried to see the mansions, but there was some tennis tournament going on so parking was horrible. We ended up just seeing some on the way out.

In other news, at the hotel, I finished the game "Final Fantasy Tactics Advance." I had started a new file about a month ago, and about 60 hours later, I finished it. Yay. I can't wait for Final Fantasy Tactics A2. I hope it doesn't suck.

Day Eight

We went to New York today!! ^___^ It is so very busy, though!! >.< I didn't like that as much. We took a 45-ish minute train ride there. We got lost almost right away. XD We did end up finding the tours company we were going to go with. We bought our tickets and boarded the bus.

We got off in Battery Park, a short ferry ride away from the Statue of Liberty. Of course, we went there... I ended up falling asleep in the grass which improved my mood. XD We wandered around for a while, then went back onto the ferry which took us to Ellis Island. This is where they would take the immigrants first, so there was a museum there. We wandered around for a bit, and got back onto the ferry. It was the last one for the day. ^_^;; When we got back to Manhattan, we got back onto the tour bus and rode it back to the first stop where they forced us to get off. We were going to stop at Rockefeller Center to go to the Nintendo Store and Pokemon Center, but there wasn't enough time before it closed. D= However, we're going tomorrow. I can't wait!!

DAY FIVE - Friday, July 13, 2007 (Friday the 13th XD)

Whale Watching
This was THE AWESOMENESS! Very fun, indeed. The tour was four hours long, but it was fun for all four. Our tour started out with us seeing dolphins traveling with some humpback whales. They said they hadn't seen dolphins for two weeks. We were definitely lucky. After that, we saw some more whales. Even later, we saw a baby whale that was jumping out of the water! The tour guide said it (I dunno if it was male or female) must have had some extra energy. Since it was too young to dive for food, it would play around while its mom ate. We definitely were lucky. I think we saw fourteen different whales.

Weirdness Dream
I had the weirdest dream on the night of day five. I am unwilling to say it, as it is kinda personal. And, no, it was not a pervy dream. It's just not one I'd like to share on the internet. I just need to put this iup to remind myself of it so I can write it down when I get home. (Yes, I'm using your idea. You know who you are.)

DAY SIX - Saturday, July 14, 2007

Bonston Tour
This is gonna be a long one. First, we stopped at this one church. I honestly don't remember its name. XD Nothing important really happened there.
Nextly, we went to Longfellow House. We saw Harvard among other colleges on the way there. The Longfellow House is this really old, yellow house with a beautiful garden. They did tours, but we weren't there long enough.
On the ride to the next stop, we saw maaany important things. It would take me a while to recall it all. Our next stop was the Old North Church. That's not actually its name, but everyone calls it that. It really is old. There was a cemetary nearby that had really old grave stones. They went back into the 1700s. There was also a dock nearby. Across the port, the U.S.S. Constitution was docking. She is a beautiful ship. She had many banners adorned with the flags of different countries hung upon her, and, of course, gigantic American flags. Apparently, the U.S.S. Constitution was made in the 1700s and is still in use.
After that, we went to lunch. We ate at a replica of the bar from the '80's TV show Cheers. I have never once seen Cheers, but my mom has. XD There were many little shops by the slew of restaurants there. There were also many people doing performances including a breakdancing group (they were cool), a magacian, and a person that played percussion on some common household items.
Our next stop was were the U.S.S. Constitution was docked. They cgave tours of her, but there was an enormous line, so we didn't go. They did have another ship there. She was a retired World War II destroyer called U.S.S. Cassin Young, I sometimes find war stuff interesting, but I wasn't as interested in this. We went to a museum dedicated to the U.S.S. Constitution. They had lots of information on the Battle of 1812.
Our final stop was the Bunker Hill Monument. If you wanted to, you could climb 294 steps to the top of it. I did which is interesting if you consider my out-of-shape...ness. I had to stop every 25-50 steps to catch my breath on the way up. On the way down, I didn't need to stop once, but my legs were getting shakey from the exertion. Luckily, I didn't get asthma. After I was done, if I tried to stand on my tip-toes, I would start wobbling. It felt really wierd.
On the way back to the hotel, our bus broke down. XD We ended up getting back later because there were two flat tires. XD We still got back, though.

Maine
Mmmm! The lobster was good! Lisa kinda went insane, though, and started playing with the claws... -_-;; We also played around on the beach. Lisa and I made a sand castle complete with moat, servant's quarters, water hole, main bridge, and servant's bridge. The difference between the servant's bridge and the main bridge is that the main bridge is much bigger and it the front of the castle. We made the castle without shovels or anything, too. DAY THREE

We didn't do much yesterday or today, but it was still tiring after Niagara Falls on Day 2. Yesterday, we (as in my sister, my mom, and me) wandered around Niagara Falls, Canada for a while. We went to this Butterfly Conservatory. It was beautiful. Very... I shall upload pictures very soon.

Our hotel yesterday wasn't so great. We had crossed back into New York for that night. We stayed in a Quality Inn, and the person working there at night was rude. Plus, my pillow was really flat. There wasn't much space between the bed and my face.

DAY FOUR

We didn't do that much today, I guess. We did go to this tubing place. They would take you up a river, (not in the river, but in a bus) then you would gently float down. I was able to stay with my mom, but my sister drifted towards the back. It was a very large group. Over fifty people, I'd say. We ate at a nice Italian place.

For the rest of the day, we drove. I woiuld say more, but it is 12:30 and my sister keeps whining about how she can't get to bed. Ugh.

We're currently staying in Canada! Yaay! All we needed to get in was photo id or (for my sister and I) birth certificates! Next year, though, they said we'd have to bring passports.

DAY ONE AND TWO

Yesterday, we saw the Niagara Falls. They're so beautiful!! We took a tour called "Over the Falls". It took us all around. We went to the Maid of the Mist tour first. The ponchos they gave us were so annoying so I took mine off. I got totally wet!! There's so much mist stuff there! Next, we went to the Hydroelectric Power Plant. Turbines! 4000 foot drop! Etc. etc. After that, we went to Whirlpool National Park. There was this Cable Car in Canada. Apparently, some Canadians had fooled immagrants into thinking they were in America with it. They were caught in short order, though. Lastly, we went to The Cave of the Winds. There is no cave, but even with the poncho, I got totally soaked! I picked a bad day to wear jeans... -_-

We're staying in a Country Inn and Suites here in Canada. However, I have to get off the computer, because check out is at 12:00 am and it is 11:40!!

Yup! I'm going on another vacation, but this time it's with my mom. We're going out east. Like, I get to go to the Nintendo Store!! YAY! They say to bring my DS, so I will for sure. WOOT! That being said, I won't be on for two weeks. D= I might be able to get on dA and MS a little, but no IMs. This is because I will have to use my mom's computer. She has Maple Story and Internet (duh) on it, but no IM programs. Too bad, so sad.

Have you read the His Dark Materials trilogy? Well, you should! I just finished the third book, (Seriously, like, 6 minutes ago!) and it's soo sad! Scenes of love usually make me feel awkward, and this book was no exception! Love isn't really my thing at this age in my life, (Speaking of love, have I made my "middle school romance" rant yet? No? I'll include it at the bottom, then) so scenes just kind of make my stomach go, Eeewww... *ulp* This made my stomach all "Ulp", but also my head feels sad. Spoiler Alert! Will and Lyra get separated! -___- Makes me feel emo, you know? Not fun. Plus, these kids.... Are, like, only eleven or twelve, right? Too young, man, too young.

Middle School Romance Rant
I come from a nice, little school where everyone is friends, and everyone knows everyone. Well, one day my mom had to move. (No big deal for me, I'm not really leaving anything behind; I'm still staying in contact with almost everyone) I moved from Nowheresville, South Dakota to Suburbia, Illinois. Of course, the first thing I notice is that everything is bigger. (Compensating? lol) More concentrations of people in smaller areas, et cetera. My new school is called . My first few weeks are so awkward and scary; those people seem to know their place, while I do not. I'm a newbie in the land of masters, or so it would seem. Well, eventually, I make a few good friends. One of my friends, named , got a boyfriend. I was really uncertain about this. In my old school, there were no boyfriends and girl friends in middle school; that was unheard of! Yet, at this school, it seems everyone has one! Being raised in a stranger way than these people, I thought (and still think) the idea of dating before high school was frowned upon. Eleven to fourteen is a horribly tender age for children to date in. Plus, as my dad once pointed out, it's embarrassing if you need to meet outside of school. Sixteen in when you get your driver's license, so having to be transported around by parents and family is horribly embarrassing. I would rant more, but my desire to rant has become exhausted. Again, please don't spam me.

Hey! We went to Applebee's to eat out today, and I had held the guinea pigs before we went. Well, they really needed a bath so I got really, really bad allergies. Plus, we got seated really close to a big group of smoking people so my eyes started burning as well as the itching from the allergies! Eventually, though, we switched tables. Our waiter brought me a lemon when he got a refill for my Diet Pepsi! That was awesome! He had noticed I'd stolen my mom's and given me one with me refill! Yaaaay!

Today, I wrote up part of Bandages... It had been lingering in my head for a while, so I decided to let it out... Have you noticed that the Segments are named after songs? Well, here's what song titles/Segment titles I plan to do:

I showed my sister the sketch of the guild picture. She hates it because of the way I draw her. Whatever. I was trying to be silly, yes I was, but she's too serious. Lighten up, Lisa!

I have regained all my armors (on Rune Scape) thanks to Kevin. He's totally annoying sometimes, but really nice, too. Jack, however... Ugh, if I ever meet that kid(he's actually older than me... ;_ in real life... He's getting a good whack to the face...

I like playing low notes on the flute. They really sound good on mine, methinks. There's this sad sounding part on "Ceremony, Chant, and Ritual" that I really enjoy playing. *hums*

And, please, if there's something you think would be cool for me to draw, I'm open for suggestions. As long as it is appropriate for a thirteen-year-old girl to draw.

Oh yeah! Yesterday, I got Pokemon Diamond. It rocks, but I wasn't able to get very far because I had to go to Mass and such. We went on a hike. I got this silly idea to bring my DS, but I lost that crappy stylus. My mom, being my mom, freaked out. We went back and walked around until we found it.

Ugh. There's a half hour left in the one-hour special, but I'm not going to watch it because I have a feeling what's going to happen.

Yesterday, I was scammed on Rune Scape... Embarrassing... Yeah, so I need help getting my Addy armors back if anyone would be so kind as to help. Also, I've been totally scared to get on MSN 'cause I sorta yelled at one of my friends. Hey! That scamming put me in a sour mood and he was being sarcastic! Well, like always, I'm putting off getting on MSN because of that. I am, however, on my other IMs, so you can talk to me there.

Nextly, I have decided to take art requests. I suppose they aren't commissions because I'm not costing any money for them. But, yeah. Request something. As long as it doesn't contain nudity, profanities, or anything else that's classified as "inappropriate for kiddies," I shall draw it. Keep in mind, though, I am a procrastinator. lol

Nothing else has really happened... Oh yeah. My dad... went to the doctor because Lisa and I had been commenting on how he went to the bathroom a lot, and he said the doctors said it was diabetic. OMG! Well, my dad assured me that he wasn't gonna die, and this wasn't going to shorten his lifespan... So, I guess it's no biggie... Myah... Hopefully, but I'm sure it is.

On PFU, LatiasGuy and my sprite shop ([link]) has officially gone out of business, but I won't stop taking requests. There are examples as I've posted there. I'm not good at human sprite manipulation, but I am pretty good at splicing and recoloring. I haven't really tried revamps, Pokeballs, or any of those things that are popular right, but I'd be happy to try.

Please don't hesitate to request.

The only thing I won't do is nude stuffs. Well, Pokemon are normally nude, so I guess they don't count. Hah.

Okay, that caps lock was annoying... I'm going to talk like a sane human being now.

Did you see the first character to take off his helmet? It looked so much like Riku. blue hair, blue eyes... I was reading comments, and some people think he's Zexion's Somebody. That second guy... Looked too much like Sora. Well, he also looked like Roxas, but there's no way he could be Roxas. The third guy... He looks like Axel, but Axel's hair and eyes don't look like that. Axel has green eyes, and his hair is spikey. Could be Axel's Somebody. Hrm... Normal humans don't have yellow eyes, though...

The unmasked enemy is definitely wearing Xehanort's clothes, or a replica of them. His accomplice is wearing Riku's dress ( *poke*) Also, I don't this the bald guy is Xehanort. Xehanort usually has a tan, and isn't that wrinkly. Plus, if those three masked heroes (hopefully heroes) are really the Sombodies of some Organization XIII members, then this would take place (most likely) before Sora was born. That would eliminate Xehanort from just being old. Plus, Xehanort is a Heartless; I don't think they age. Oh, and the baddy's accomplice just looks like he made up on the spot. A clone, perhaps.

Lol, Mickey Mouse.

I really, really, really like that music. It's really sad, though. It almost makes me wanna bawl. Almost. Not really. I do think the soundtrack differs from KH2, though. Oh, if you did get the soundtrack, you'd need to make suck the KH:Re:CoM soundtrack with it, which it most certainly will.

I've decided to develop some general helpful hints for staying up late secretly.

1. Wait until you know you're parents are in bed.
-Watch the lights.
-Listen for sounds.

2. Do everything you're doing quietly!
-Having music playing helps.
-Don't get up and jump around; try to have the things you're gonna play with (e.g. Nintendo DS) hidden close by. (e.g. under your bed)

3. When you hear sounds, shut up and listen!!!
-Hear something? Turn whatever you're doing off!
-Be ready to hide your stuff somewhere safe! Under a pillow is usually good!

That reminds me... At our last band concert... (The 8th grade sounded awesome; we didn't, just FYI.) Before the concert, there was this guy (or girl?) in a wooden Spongebob Squarepants outfit. After the concert, he was gone, and I was in a bit of an insane mood. I ran up to two of my friends and said, "I wanted to hug Spongebob, but he wasn't there anymore." They laughed out loud.

Okay, I'm back. Guess what! I was showing my dad a picture of a made up character named Cherry. She was a ten- or eleven-year-old, and I meant no sexual meaning behind her name. However, apparently, "cherry" is slang for "virgin." OMG! That ruined my day! *sigh* Well, I'm still going to draw the comic "The Adventures of Cherry and Vanilla."

Since I let out that bit of info, I suppose I could explain the comic. Cherry is a young Waterbender, not very skilled at all. She could, however, turn stuffed animals into real ones. The comic is about her adventures. I don't know if it will tie into Avatars: The Last Airbender even though it takes place in the same world. She might clean up small messes in a cute manner. Maybe it'll be humorous. I dunno. I am not funny. I would appreciate help on anything. I guess I'm really gonna make it up as I go along.

"I've decided to talk about my favorite instruments today. I dunno why, so don't ask. XD

Anyways, my favorite instruments are the oboe, bassoon, harp, and anything that belongs in a stringed quartet. (That would be violin, viola, and cello for those of you that don't know.) I remember in some tv shows, people always complain about playing the oboe. I haven't the slightest idea why. I think it was an excellent sound. It's high, but not too much so, and the sound is indescribable. I just like it. Same with the bassoon. It has a nice, low sound. I just like the harp's sound. It sounds cool. Also, I just love stringed instruments; I would love to learn to play one. Well, I do know how the play the piano, (I've been playing it for six years and counting.) if that counts.

However, I absolutely hate cornets. I just dislike the sound. I wish they would just shut up every once in a while. Well, I suppose this hatred could be related to the fact that I play the flute. Those darned cornets are always stealing our thunder with their obnoxious honking noises. Fweh.
