The first and most expensive thing was a new computer. <3 Man, my old one pissed me off. It had problems with almost everything I wanted it to do. It wouldn't run games properly, it would shut down Firefox for no apparent reason, and it would reboot itself whenever it wanted to. Imagine you are in the middle of your favorite game (if you can play it at all) and you're maybe even having a good run, but then your oh-so-precious piece of machinery spits into your face by shutting itself down without even a warning/notice/whatever. -.- Imagine you are drawing and doing pretty well and the same thing happens and you forgot to save the progress. Or when you try to chat with someone over a messanger but the thing tells you there is a problem everytime you try to open a window to your friend. Had to deal with this BS for quite a time and I wanted to kick that piece of shit into the next town.
But now I got a new com and it's better (Durr, no wonder. My old PC was at least 5 years old), smaller, and more quiet than the old one. There are some minor things about Vista on this PC that I don't like and it won't run a game I'd like to play but I may get that fixed eventually (I don't think so. Lol.)

The second thing is a new game I bought with the com. Called Section 8. Anyone playing?
Its campaign mode is piss poor, I'll admit that. It's basically just a tutorial for the multi-player mode, on which the game is build on, and a start for the achievements and gamerpoints. The story itself is just there to let the campaign look more like a campaign but they really could've done way more with. However, I DO have a lot of fun online. It got the weapons you want (even if they are just standard), nice armaments and equipments, and you can fully customize your characters (aggresive, defensive, stealthy,...) That's not new but I think it's still nice. Lol.
But then again, why should anyone play Section 8 when Modern Warfare 2 is out? Lol. (No, I'm not saying anything against MW2. I like CoD aswell.)

The last expensive thing I bought just yesterday - finally... -.-' - was Pokemon Platin Edition.
Funny thing is: I don't have a DS of any sort. Lol. Then why buy a game I can't play? One reason is, I would've bought it some day anyway, which leads my to the next reason. There is a store going bankrupt and they are throwing out their shit, I guess, so they sell their stuff for a little cheaper. And I thought "Why not buy it now for at least that bit less?" since I'm bad at bargain hunting and I'm sure I wouldn't have seen a better price in... years. Lol. The last reason is that I just wanted to have it. Lol.
So, my next big purchase will be a DS, I hope.

And I hate my com. -.- Always got problems with everything. I want to load a site (a gallery of someone here on DA, for instance) and some problem pops up and I have to shut FireFox. FF has a problem with loading a gallery here on DA. Of course. Because it has NEVER done that before. Sometimes ICQ bitched about incoming messages. A fucking messanger has problems with messages. Now THAT is logic. I installed ICQ again and now everything is working BUT it eats 50% of my CPU if a window is open. What the hell. In skype I didn't do anything and it had a problem. And I can't play some of my games correctly. Problem. In the middle of the damn game. -.-
Serioulsy, what's up with this machine? I have three anti-virus programs here and none can find something. Though it's getting better and there aren't as many reports anymore it's still fucking annoying.

What about all these clubs?
The FAQ only says you can create one if you want, DeviantArt wouldn't support clubs and would delete them if you're an asshole with them. Didn't find anything else. Ok. That's good so far. But... What are they good for?
What do clubs do for you? What do YOU have to do for THEM? What's happening inside a club?
I always see people have this "Clubs I'm in: clubclubclubclub" somewhere at the bottom of their journals and sometimes I think "Hm... That could be nice." but I don't know why I should join something I don't even know about.

Somehow there were many journals of the people I watch which said "THIS AND THIS PAGEVIEW COMING UP! KIRIBANPRIZE FOR THE ONE WHO CATCHES IT!" so I wanted to try it. Never gave it a shot before 'cause it didn't interest me that much. But after I caught my first one I thought somethng like "... o.o Zomfg... Cool. Kekeke." Yes, I do think smilies. And then there was a second journal telling about a kiriban and a third and blah. I tried my luck at everyone and I even was lucky enough to get more than one or two kiribans.
Now I really like these things and I'll try to catch more. It IS after all a cool feeling that a, maybe, good an well-known artist draws a pic only for and/or because of you. AND a kiriban is a neat little and cheap advertise for your own gallerie. ¦3 *coughcough*

There are however some, which I didn't get.

And than there was with a kiriban, too. She informed her watchers about that kiriban when it still was 14.000 views away, so it took some days (was it two weeks?) to get near the wanted pageview. Then, some day, I looked at her profil and it said, the wanted number was still 3.000 views away. I decided to watch an anime on YouTube. One episode = 30 minutes. After this one episode alias 30 min. I looked again at her profil. The kiriban was gone for 500 views! =_= WTF?! 3.500 pageviews in a half hour! WOAH!
I mean, ok, I know that she has tons and tons of watchers and everyone knows her, so it's not a great surprise that the counter went up fast at the last couple of meters but still I wouldn't have expected THAT. lol.

Last week I tried from tuesday till friday to ONLY order it. This week i could finally order it on tuesday and had to wait till friday. So yesterday it arrived BUT then the damn car had a defect. -___- We got another car for replacement BUT we had no time today. -______-'

Durch Shinymagic's Journal [link] bin ich auf das Gradient Tutorial in MS Paint von Meezu gestossen [link] .
So.
Meezu meint, man kann mit dem Trick, den sie dort beschreibt, eben diese Farbverläufe im Hintergrund erstellen. Shiny bestätigt das - wird also wohl stimmen (sie hat auch immerhin ein Beispielbild damit gemacht, was man im Journal sieht). Da meine Bilder eben auch alle nur mit Paint sind, wäre das ein netter Trick zu wissen.
Natürlich hab ich ihn getestet aber bei mir ging es nicht. Meezu meint, man muss im 5. Step den horizontalen Grad auf 500% drehen und gerade das funktionierte bei mir nicht. Ich konnte nur bis 89% gehen... oò
Jetzt bitte ich euch das mal zu testen und mir dann zu sagen, was passiert ist. Endweder bin ich einfach nur zu blöd oder aber es gibt da bestimmte Unterschiede zwischen der Amiversion von Paint und der von uns, und das kann ich mir gut vorstellen.
Was bei mir rauskam? Einfach nur ein ellenlanger, horizontaler Streifen, denn man ewig zu beiden Seiten ziehen konnte und beide Farben hatte.

Finally I might get a Wacom. Last week i tried for 4 days to order this thing [link] (god, that child is ugly...). First they said 'isnt' there' - fine. So I looked for another. With my new Wacomfav the next day a new guy said "wha? whazzat? have to inform myself, I'll call you" - ... fine. I waited the next day and nothing happend. I called them. What was? There was a new guy AGAIN at the tele and I had to tell AGAIN what I wanted. I told I had two GTs in mind and again it was 'have to inform myself, I'll call you.' - ... ... ... -_-' Whatever, fine, im patient. So I waited the next day an nothing happend and even when I tried to call them (three times) no one was there.
Today I went there to buy a new screen (widescreen, but I think I'll swap it - it's... to wide... Oo''' ) and to talk about the Wacom directly to them and, wow, both of my fav GTs could be ordered. I chose the one above, obviously. Why did I have to go to them first? What was the damn problem?
Well, what the hell. I ordered it and this friday or next monday it should be there. Hopefully. -.-' I can imagine there could go something wrong too.
But!
IF I get it that could mean I'd draw more scrapstuff cos I'd have to get used to the thing and than scrap and... scribble and... O.o' You know? Yeah. Lol. Maybe. Could maybe. Don't know if thats important to you but... XP
