My departure is getting closer and closer. In 48 hours I'll be no longer in my hometown in Italy, but in the great Great Britain, in the city of Manchester.
I will study there for the whole year, but don't worry! I will keep on drawing as long as it is possible. I have no idea of what it will be like and how busy I'll be. Sure! It's not easy: I gotta attend lessons and examination in a language that's not mine and live a life completely different from the one I've always lived till now but... I will find free time to draw. I'm sure! =D

Today I opened DA and saw again the two hateful policy violation notes.
They say:

"The work(s) listed below have been removed by staff due to a violation of deviantART policy or because its theme or content was judged unacceptable. Your deviantART submissions must obey certain guidelines and restrictions."

and

"Your deviation CH.FOUR Reborn_Pag.44 was reported for Prohibited Content."

"A member of staff has reviewed a report concerning this deviation and has found that the work contained a depiction of a penis which is considered to be "erect".

Since depictions of erections are not allowed this deviation has been removed as a violation of policy."

Now....
First of all it doesn't show any erection. Goku's naked. that's all!
But that is not the reason for which I decided to write this journal.
My question is: WHY DO I HAVE TO BE BANNED FOR A DRAWING SHOWING A NAKED MAN WHILE ALL OVER DA YOU CAN SEE LOTS OF PHOTOS OF NAKED WOMEN?
Just because they do not have a penis they can be shown naked? while the poor men should hide it... This is SEXISM! I tell you.

The woman can show every part of her (and with every part I mean EVERY PART! I don't know if you have ever looked at the collections, but there are some of them which contains very detailled photographs of vaginas, asses, boobs, in every pose and situation).

Do they suit to all the publics? I don't think so. Surely less than a drawing such as that they deleted from my gallery. If I had drawn a girl in that same position and in that same attitude, I am sure, they would have not told me anything. Why?
Because, even though people say that men and women have the same rights, THAT'S NOT LIKE THAT!

Men can see naked women and not been accused of that. Women has to have a very strong inner force not to become red when seen by an other sex gender individual while looking at male nudities.
More than that! Look around DA. How many photographs of girls are there? Lots! Of men? Not so much.
That may be the direct conseguence of the genetical behaviour of men and women. But not only... That's the result of that absurd rule that tells that you cannot show penis in erection (if you do not see any fluid, what's the difference?).

So... what I want to say is that it is not fair that we must draw mutilated men not to see one of our deviation deleted. If it so, then women too should have no holes.

I then decided to try drawing female figures too and I've discovered that I'm not so bad in it. I like them! :love: Even though I still prefer the rocky muscles of men. Drawing them gives such a sensation of freedom. :drool: well... :XD: I'm back again! :giggle:

Hello!
I'm taking you informed about my quite holiday-style trip in Salamanca. I say this, because for what concernes the time spent till now, in the afternoon I have nothing to do and I hang arond the city, looking like a tourist, sitting in some park to draw, eating ice-cream (and with 40 C it is a must!) and reading comics. Tell me, is it not like being on holiday?
Even though I'm still lonely, because I've found no friend yet to share this tiring life with me, I'm happy because this forced solitude is giving me a lot of time to draw. I've already sketched 8 papers from Monday! And I will keep on and on, and on, and on...

It is such a pity I don't have a scanner here because, otherwise, I would update everyone of them, and no blootooth, otherwise I could have used it to connect with the Pc and, alas!, I didn't took the cable to connect the camera to the computer, otherwise I could have downloaded them. Well... I think there's no other way that the one to wait till I'm back the 24th of August.
BTW, I can always tell you few things about what I've drawn. 7 of these creations are about a demon-samurai character Jinta87 asked me to think about, while the 8th, which I finished only 30 minutes ago, is about Johnson and Jack. :giggle:

I also want to keep on drawing the lastpages of Reaching God. I wll see if I'll manage to do it, cuz I dunno know with all these things I gotta do...

!!!Hola a todos!!!!
I'm writing to you from Spain, and more exactly from the state of Castlla y leon, which will be my home for the next three weeks. I've decided to learn spanish, and to learn it well, so that I'm here studying at the famous University of Salamanca. As you might understand, I will not therefore be able to update anything and (what I really hope does not happen!) to draw anything.
Here it's very hot, but a dry one, so that it's quite nice to bear, The last day that I came, the air temperature was said to be 44'C, and today, I think, it's more or less the same. I really don't know what I'm going to do here, since no friends of mine has come with me, except hanging around the city and, dunno, reading? But I've just discovered that the University library is closed till the 21th of the month. I really hope to have read wrong, because otherwise I'm dead! buuuuu :cry: I need something to read!!!!
BTW luckly I've found that there's a comic shop called Shogun that I wanna axplore a bit (hoping it is open! ^^; ). The name sounds good, very japanese. I then will tell you how it is like.

I will come and see my page evryday, I think, so don't have problems in writing to me. I'll answer you very soon! =D

So I'm back again.
I switched on yesterday my MAC to check my account and, you know which surprise I found? A magnificent Policy Violation note from the staff of DA for my drawing A rose rain, which was obviously, deleted.
Second piece of art of mine hit by the puritanism of this community.

Fortunately I've opened a new account on Y!Gallery, so that anybody can see everything of my art.

BTW, I really like the new DA version. When i first saw it yestersay I was confused because for what concernes the messages part everything has completely changed, but I think I will get quite used to it in a short time.

What else can I say?......

I enjoyed myself a lot during these summer holidays and I've had the time to start reading a book by Burne Hogarth about how to draw clothes on people. I did a lot of exercise copying and redrawing and a lot of projects sprouts out in my mind.
I now have three weeks before leaving again for Spain, where I will be away for the first three weeks of August. I've a last exam on Thursday and then I'm free. I really hope to be able to keep on with Reaching god, cuz it's becoming an agony! :XD:

Hello to everybody!!! It had been a long time since I let you heard of me. This was for the exams. Sorry! :XD:

BTW I'm attending a comic course with Claudio Sciarrone (a Disney illustrator) and it will last for a month (twice a week=4 hours a week) and therefore I have 2 weeks left more.
What we are going to do is to create a 5 tables comic having as theme "the journey". I choose to set it in a Victorian Era England, in particular in an opium den and my main character will be a 40 yrs old english man who has troubles in life and that therefore keeps smoking opium.
He wishes to escape from this world, and at the end, he manage to do it, dying while he's smoking.

Of course I couldn't avoid to add a yaoi part in it XD (about 2 of these pages will be about that!. Am I a maniac? ahahahaha :giggle: )
The scene will be this: He's thinking about the reason of life and an illusion created by the smoked becomes reality for him and tries, with another male illusion, to persuade the main ch. that the only aim in life is to have phisical pleasure. So there will be some shounen ai scenes (nothing serious. I don't want to shock anybody in the comic class, since we have to speak about our project in front of everybody :blushes:. I also discovered that I'm the only mad- head-yaoi addicted!!! :shocked: )
-.- depressing, isn't it?

BTW this is to explain to you why recently I'm not adding a lot of deviations. I have to look for a lot of things: costumes, hair, settings, information about opium dens, how to smoke opium, how it works... really a lot of things!!!! And I also have to create the main character. I think to have found a shape for this man today, but it's not ended yet.
Work work work!!!!
Even tonight I think i will stay up till late to draw.

It's very hard, but I really love it! :heart:
When the comic is ended I will post everything on DA: the 5 pages result and all the sketches! =D

My friend TMB and I have created a forum dedicated to the Yaoi World. It's in italian, so it can be difficul for those who does not know it, but you might take a look and find something you like.

The peculiarity of this forum of us, is that you can adopt a Yaoichi.
What is it?! A Yaoichi is a Chibi cutie Yaoi. It means that you can have your faved character transformed into a Powerpuff girls like style.

Here are some of them, but you can ask whatever you want. The only restriction is that you gotta be subscribed to the forum (this is just for Italians. If you do not know italian, don't worry. Just tell me what you want your Yaoichi to be, and I will draw it!).

Eeeeh... In life there's the time to have fun and to fulfil your duty.

And this last time has come to me in this month, so I cannot be too much present here on DA.
I quite can't draw because I have to study a lot...
...
I miss my papers and my pens!!!! :crying:

And to add a malinconic tone to this tragedy of mine, just yesterday I was sent the Zebra nib pens I had ordered before Christmas. So, I have them there, in front of my eyes the whole day long, but I have to restrain myself of thinking how wonderful it must be to use them! =(

Sigh... the only thing it's left to me is to dedicate myself to the exams so that I pass them quickly and I can come back "working" on my art! =D

Hello everybody! :wave:

forgive my absence of these last weeks, but I don't have a lot of time to sit down in my room and start drawing! XD
But, between a run to catch the bus and the homeworks, I've managed to draw three more pages of my doujinshi Reaching God.
I've informed a bit about how to ink in the best manga way, and I found out that in Japan they don't use the ink pens I was used to use, but the nibs!!! So, I've started a long research around my town to find these magic nibs and finally I got them. They're not the perfectly right ones, but since they're fabolous and they say that japanese ones are even better, I think I will buy the Zebra ones as soon as I can.

Here's my new inking set:


I adooore it!!! :love:
It's completely another thing! You got to try to ink with the nib! You have the blackness and the precision of a rapidograph pen, but the flexibility of an ink pen, with the advantage of modify the line's dimension with the pressure (something the rapidograph does not have).

So, after having bought these nibs three weeks ago, I decided it was time to test them with my next Doujinshi pages, so here are my last creations:

Does this change something? hem... no! Why should it?XD But we use to give party in these occasions to celebrate, what? I dunno! I see it as a new occasion to mess around, to meet with friends, but I don't really think that when you are at a Bday party you're thinking: "Oh my God! I'm older! I'm older! I'm older!"
Oh well... This is what I think for my life. :giggle: There are people for whom Bday is a very important day. Never understood them! XD

BTW Yesterday i had my small party with my 3 best friends. We had a dinner in a fabolous Mexican restaurants (a bit heavy to digestXD) and then we had the brilliant idea of having a walk till the high city of Bergamo (with 2 degrees: you cannot imagine how cold it was!) and we all went back home with a wonderful cold, that today will be my sunday companion.
I love them all: they're wonderful, everyone with her difect, but always my REAL BEST friends!

I know I've been away for a lot of days this week, but University is taking a lot of my DA life time! So I keep drawing, but I'm slower then usually. For istance, if during a normal holiday day A drawing takes me just one day to be finished, now It took me quite 4 days, and working till 12/1 o'clock of night!

I'm now drawing the next 4 pages of the Doujinshi "Reaching God" and I've decided, while you're waiting, to post some previews of the panels I'm working on.

1. I always eat (in the limits of possible) with chopsticks, and I'm learning to use them also with the left hand

2. Last year a friend of mine and me have worn and created A blues Brothers show in front of the whole school. We sang and we made the idiots when everybody was watching us. Our two friends didn't speak to us for some days (I think ashamed of our ridicoulos performance, which wasn't as bad as they think!)

3. I started watching DB 8 years ago, and I've seen all the series (first, Z and GT) but never a movie. Therefore, being Vegeta absent in the first one, my first hero was the young Goku. I loved him! :heart: I kept drawing him. But then, I saw Vegeta, and I watched DB only to see him! :love:

4. I got a pair of handcuffs with a longed chain in my room, hanged on the wall above a wushu changquan sabre

5. I often wear man's clothes... and now that I think at it... anybody of my female fiends does... well, Better! =D I'm unique!

6. I still sleep with my puppies: a squirrel, a black sheep, an orange bear, a white mouse (diddl), an old lion, a sausage-dog, a black and huge bear, two more mice (the parents of the white one) and a big tourtle.

7. My first mouse peluche was the father of the family of before (a grey diddl with a red salopette) and I called him vegeta, then I decided to buy the white wife (bulma) and then the young Trunks and, at last, the key-ring Goten! Then I decided to stop or my parents would kill me! XD

8. I've organized a CCD (cena con delitto, in english, dinner with murder), a sort of show casted by my friends in my house. Everyone has to choose a character and impersonate him/her for the whole evening. One decide the plot, one is the killer and one the victim, but anybody except this three people know nothing on what will happen during the night. And then there's a detective who has to discover who's the killer, why he/she did it, and with what.
I was a Las vegas prostitute. I still laugh if I think how I was dressed: very very short skirt, bored stocking, singular shirt, with a very big neckhole! With a make up of horror! Terrifing! XD But I would do it again, at any moment!

Well, in the meanwhile I've decided to start drawing a Doujinshi. It wasn't my first idea when I drew Reaching God_page1, but it sounded a funny entertainment for my lonely schoolless days. Xd
Now i'm working hard to create a sort of story... but it's difficult: I wake up thinking how to draw a face, I spend the whole day drawing and inking the pages, I go to bed still thinking how to draw the next scene! It's getting me mad! :crazy:, But I love it! :love:
I love fly away in this fantastic worlds and lose the sense of reality! I'm a cartoon addicted! aaah!
