I have had some painful contractions before, and seen sent to the hospital once for them. Luckily, I wasn't dialated to they were probably Braxton-Hicks which is not harmful. But more like practice contractions instead.

In my husband's latest journal, he has spoken about selling limited-edition items such as CD's and prints. There is not much time to get the prints, and here is when they are being taken down: When Zachariah is born, which is in late August or Early September.

I will still have my print up for Serpent Lord's Son, but it's not a very big picture. I'll take care of that soon enough.

My character Leen has gone through some redesigning- I not liking her look from before. It seemed too dark for me, but I wanted something brighter but not too bright. The lightest thing is just platinum blonde hair that's nice and layered. But it seems pretty to me.

I am sorry I have not been on DA for such a long time, but the site pisses me off a lot and I just leave it for a while. I'll start being on here more often, though.

In all honesty, I get annoyed every now and then. But it's not on DA, it's in many places.

It's terrible when one has so many lip marks on their ass that they think "Hey, my art's good enough. No need to develop any more!", and then I have seen some occurences where some folks (I don't need to mention them) treat their fanbase like utter shit.

You can draw shitty Powerpuff Girl-esque art all you want, but when you try to draw in another style and it's horribly diproportioned- that's saddening... because you draw those Powerpuff Girl-esque drawings all the freaking time, and you will get nowhere, yet your mass of stupid air-headed fans will fave it regardless.

Yes, to those reading it you may have an idea of who I am speaking of.

I know artists on my watch list who have more talent than some of the crocks I am talking about. There are artists on here who do shit for Marvel or DC but don't get featured on the front page. Yet some googly-eyed little... thing that threatens to kill itself will.

I know am not material to get up on that damned page, because I am now still experimenting. So if you are offended by this, don't even presume such bullshit.

Then here's another bitch of mine.

I am usually not one to get so easily agitated that I make a very large journal entry out of it, but this has also got to be released or I'll stay annoyed.

Coloring over a peice of fanart, usually it be Sonic art- does not mean that you drew it. All you did was color over it with your crappy MSPaint, and do nothing except add some badly drawn hair.

I mean, I am fine with using references, but that's just downright sad. Considering that Sonic is rather simple to draw and many artists who draw it seem to be new to the art field, why not try drawing it instead of just... coloring over it? Otherwise, you'll hold yourself back. But I wouldn't suggest going overboard and drawing it all the time. Just be sure to not go into another Sonicide like in January this year.

Then, there is the "overreactive artist", one on DA that is particularly famous for not taking critique too well. They treat their fans like shit, answer to almost none of their replied unless they are being critical of her, and seem to think that they will go through life professionally without improving in the slightest bit. This person even wishes to make an animation or whatnot of her characters, yet I doubt anyone in their right mind would take her in seeing that her entire portfolio will be consisted of anime characters. Never once had I seen this person reach beyond what she is now, and I have seen her entire gallery and even scraps.

Hey, I don't mind people drawing in the anime style. But she can go so much further if she left this...

This person would not have such a bad reputation, if she were able to handle critique well and treat her fanbase a bit better. Otherwise, I don't think she would be as infamous as she is, considering she is the absolute worst case. of critique sensitivity I have ever witnessed.

Fact is, nothing you do will ever be perfect. Never. Ever. Ever. No asspats for you. You have your huge crowd of fans doing this.

I may be a tad overcritical some think, but I have fucking standards.

Yep, I am three weeks along. I am very happy, because we have a new member of the family coming in and it is a product of me and my husband 's love. <3

I have a feeling it's going to be a boy. :)

I am a bit scared, but I just hate the morning sickness that is bound to come because I have this avid phobia of vomiting. I am not even that scared of the labor and birth because of the painkillers they would put on me, so I think everything will be fine.

I think this baby will help me out, and it will be a peice of me as well that I have been searching for. At first, I was terrified- because I didn't think I was good enough. But now I know that I will have to buck up and get rid of that fear and strengthen up, because I won't get rid of this baby.
