I'm taking an unusual opportunity I have to grow my nails out a bit as a personal experiment of sorts. I'm currently in a bit of a situation where I'm in generally low social contact and am curious to see what it's like to have them a little long. Right now the longest is showing a full 1/16" of white at the end. Not that long, but long for me. I was visiting with family today and do not think they were long enough at all to even attract notice at this point other than the thought that I kinda need to trim my nails. I took the opportunity to paint them this week (silver) for about three days. When I figured I had to remove the paint they seemed a bit long, so instead of trimming them, I thought I'd see how long I can get them. I may be able to go another full week without anyone really noticing and have to snip them then. We'll see how long they get.

Normally I keep my nails well trimmed because having them even a little long bugs me. I've applied long false nails for short periods of time and wonder at how people deal with that on a daily basis in the real world. Guess you just get used to it. Plus those fake ones keep coming off. The thumbs especially.

So far it's been interesting, but I know I'll be glad to clip them off eventually!

I am a crossdresser with an interest in bondage. Recently I've been exploring avenues to express these things online, and DA is the most recent.

I have wound up making myself my own model, at least photographically, although I plan on branching that out into drawings as well. My drawings and photo-manipulations utilize found photos for reference or actual manipulation. Like the rap, house, and electronica music genres (as well as other art forms) have taught us, taking something and manipulating it can create something else new and interesting. As such, I borrow, too. Many photos are simply snapshots from image hosting sites. Some are from any number of free site samples and privately posted collections that I have perused over the years. I honestly cannot remember them unless there is a signature mark. None are directly taken from any DA collection unless indirectly and not to my knowledge. If anyone has a rightful claim of authorship to any photo used as reference, I will gladly either remove it or reference them as per their wishes. Otherwise I will note references if known and applicable.

In terms of bondage themes, my biggest interest is in depicting more "everyday" themes rather than specifically "fetish" sorts of looks; the "damsel in distress" image appeal. I strive to express emotive looks which I think are as important to the overall feel as ropework and positioning. A bored looking model is, well, boring, no matter how great everything else is. Also important is a true sense of restraint. If it looks escapable, something else vital is lost.

I find being my own model fun, but it is limiting. I don't seek out models and have never had any girlfriends interested in being one, but who knows what the future holds. One important part my drawings and manipulations play is to depict things I can not photographically myself.
