Dear dA journal,

I'm so frickin' gay. And I mean that in a good way. I have made no new year's resolutions at all 'cept for what Fuufuu asked me to work on. I for one have no plans on doing nothing but improve on my self-esteem (aka, don't dance in public) and to better myself for my upcoming final year in high school before I weep bloody gravy tears when I am to be pronounced d.e.d. [Mexican slang for "dead" ala "Pimp My Ride" a.k.a. I hate afternoon telly] out of my lack of wonder bread. I like soft dough bread though.

Ha aha ha ha aha ha.

I plan to eat better food. I also plan to stop being a prick. These are not resolutions, these are plans. Yes, very amusing isn't it? Furthermore I do hope to get my priorities straight and to help myself learn to study when I need to.

That is all I believe.

Sad but true, I've been watching her art for ages already (okay, maybe two years isn't ages) but yeah. I swear reading this or stuff like this makes me better, but then again opinions are opinions and probably the other side of this makes a nice debate.

My take on anime art?
It's alright. As in really alright. I know a couple of people iRL who do original anime art and fanart but still have their own styles to it and do improve. I do agree also that anime art is the popular art style now because hints of it's influences are shown on some people's art now. What I don't like about anime art is when people don't find their own style and just copy off a pre-existing style or the people who do nothing but fanart, fanart, fanart all ways through Sunday and don't try to explore other areas in art.

...the battery's low so my stand is more or less short and craptastic but I just found this something that made me feel better.
I for one doodle fanart here and there but I rarely post it on dA because they end up as just sketches. In the end all you'll get from me is original characters, random art and so on and so forth and very little to do with anime, fanart and trends. (Hell I didn't do a meme yet, lawl)


I'll just end this off with the artists I look up and yet am such a loser because I don't watch them or comment them much but I admire their art so.

THE BASICS: write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!

** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

There was a virus in the computer, the CPU came back from the shop.

...photoshop didn't make it :\
A lot of programs are gone now, some of my files are gone, I deleted old ones I never thought I had still...and yeah...

The computer's better, not the same but better...and I miss photoshop because that's what I'm doing for my ten sketches which are very delayed now. -___-'

iTunes is, I dunno, the library isn't as well-kept as before but I guess it's still good. There are tons of duplicates/quadruplets in the library that I gotta sort out, so yeah, poo.
And tomorrow I won't be able to do music/band stuff because my dad's gonna take us out for fitting blah-blah...yeah, more poo but what can yah do? :\

Ugh, my head's killing me.

I have drawings I'd like to submit right now, a sketch here and even some nice lineart but I'm tired.

Last Friday was awesome, period. It's a real long story, but I swear I had a lot of fun.

Been trying to get this project of mine finished, it's a photo comic and I'll give you all the heads up about it when it's all good and done, until then nothing new to show off.

I haven't gone to church yet, goin' later with my granfolks and my sister around six this evenin', gonna have a hard time staying awake though, I should take some medicine for the head thing.

Another thing that bites, the computer's having virus things popping up. Real pits, and the memory space is gaining like crazy. It's limewire's fault really. I don't download that much any more but my dad and uncle do...well my uncle does I think. Meh.

This week, school's back to normal and hopefully this Saturday the old band I'm in gets a good practice. Yeah, here's hoping to that.

Loads of photos, loads of photos, photoshop, blah. And I think the shower didn't help me.

Will be better if I slept a bit. Yeah, I need to lie down.

I know this is whining/bitchin'/blabbing but I don't really give much care. I work about 3-4 hours on my traditional pieces. The sketching, darkening, painting and detailing with ink and they rarely get good attention here.

...then again maybe it's because my scanner doesn't scan the paper very well...

Meh, anyway I'm tired of posting them here knowing they won't get the feedback I'd love to hear. :\

What ticks me off more is that simple doodles/digital works of mine get more notice and credit.
Hell that Penguin "Squak" comic got I dunno how many +favs.

So I've decided I'll just stop submitting my traditional works here save for probably sketches.
Other than that it'll be digital all the way.

...the only time I ever got it to run right was around twelve and by then most interest of what happens online died out on me.

That and dial-up is getting crappier with each passing day.
Pretty soon all the connections are gonna turn on me...and I won't have anymore access to messenger, dA and all the other blah I check here.

Right now, my current dial-up thingie, the good one has turned on me and it gives off a lot of connection has timed out excuses.

I am very annoyed.

We got tons of stares from people but there were these two jerks who commented of two of us from the group, thinking we were performers and we were in costume. xP

Pfft. Best ignored in my opinion.

About my internet connection. It sucks BIG TIME. We applied for DSL from a different company and it's just NEW and already there's a problem with it. :\
The tech people said we should wait till Sunday or sometime this week to see if it'll change, but in my opinion it sucks ass. Dial-up is nice to me, but it's still pretty slow but it's better than nothing.
At my mum's place the computer's hard drive crash'd and now my mum substituted the CPU with our old one which is really slow, but at least the connection there is good.

No new art this week because my scanner's acting up again. D:
And I worked hard on my picture (Not that much people comment now on the new paintings xD Hahaha, nah, I'm not irked just happy for no reason)

Only when I am fed up with something do I seem mature according to a person or two, that is their opinion and I have no agreements nor disagreements to that.

It hasn't been an entire month of being in school and I swear, already my head hurts. I swear it's not just geometry and trigonometry.
Okay, I think I lied in that sentence. My head doesn't hurt. In fact I half-understand things. Sadly my brain is lazy. It has been lazy for the past couple of weeks. And I'm annoyed.

Back then, my homework was done well enough for a passing grade and I would only skimp out on it if I was either too lazy, too busy or just not at all getting it.

...I have missed out several assignments and I'm amazed at myself...

On a side note, I have never been more bored or self-blank...well maybe when I have in the second and fifth grade...yeah...that's a whole 'nother story.

I have exams on monday and tuesday. I'm gonna study to see if something good'll happen if I do try now.
Part of me is let down by what I'm becoming. Another part of me regained a lot of confidence at how my art style is going. Guess it's all 50-50.

Things are fine by the way, complicated but fine.

Oh, I was so close to throwing another tantrum on my cellphone again but I refrained. *so proud*

We all have to grow up, I'm just taking my sweet time and so are my friends who enjoy weird humor.

On a side note, internet in BOTH my homes svuck arse. Our DSL at my mum's place is on the path of 'connect-disconnect' mode and I'm stuck with dial-up here for until Bob knows when.

It sucks really and I need my Y!hell. :\

I'm tired....so tired...and I should sleep.

...But I still gotta change, wash and push all my books and junk off my bed which is a MESS all the time.

No cash, can't buy myself good paper. I have currently NO sketchbook because I just finished my last one.

One-Hit Wonder

Okay, so in order to have a hit, you need an awesome band with an awesome Band Name.
1) To find your totally radical band name, select your favorite artist in your media player. Set your player to "shuffle" (or random, etc.) and press "play." Then skip forward three times. Repeat this three times. Now, re-arrange the words in the song titles to create your band name. You must use at least ONE word from each song. You may use all the words if you like.

Current obsession? Perfume: Story of a Murderer

Read the book and finished it within two days, then I just watched the DVD last night.

I wouldn't exactly say I loved every single part of the movie...I'm still freaked out during the 'love feast' bit as I like to call it. >__>

In short, when I heard about the story a bit and of the movie I got interested. So when I saw the book, I just had to read/buy it to satisfy my curiosity.

I satisfied it...though no one warned me about the 'love feast' bit. .___.;;

Needless to say, watching the movie left me staring blankly into some endless void.

Hahahaha, damn. xD;;

Still, loved the book and the movie wasn't half-bad either. Oh and Jean-Baptiste Grenouille is indeed a lovable little lunatic. X)

Heeeeeeey all....

I got exams coming on this Monday and I haven't studied anything whatsoever.

Report card came in yesterday and I got two line of 70's on it. Math & MIP. Bullocks really, because I know other people who got low on those subjects too because of the friggin' teachers. Bleh.

I'm happy I didn't fail though, that's mainly what it is for me, having no failures on the card ever. I'm still keeping it up as of late, so woot points for me.

Oh, and I went back to one of my oldest video game loves. Ragnarok.
Hehe, my friend Maan is ultimately wikej for tanking me and giving me stuff since my old accounts are prolly dead by now. <3

So currently in a net cafe' where there's still no available comps with the game installed. D:
And about 75% of the people in here are guys playing Warcraft...noisily. <.<

I'm actually not in the best of conditions with certain people as of late. It's all McShitty when I think about it but basically I have issues...problems and I'm thinking of seeing a guidance counselor as a LAST resort if my relations with these people get even worse.
For the record I loathe the guidance counselors in our school, or at least on of them. Well, not exactly loathe but I just dislike having to get counseling from her.

Last Saturday I got babies, six rat babies. They were found in school by one of the teachers and I offered to take care of them because...I dunno, I'm like that I guess.

Me and Kat took care of them a bit for the day, we even went down to the covered court to get them a proper home. All I could afford was this fishbowl worth Php70. It was enough and the nice pet stall owners gave us free wood shavings too.

We even named all of them and as crazy as it seemed I could tell who was who and which was which. They had hair already but they had yet to open their eyes and yes, in my opinion they little brown ratlings were indeed cute.

For the first night I tried to see if they could eat, in the end I managed to feed them with a syringe. I was actually happy they were eating and it gave me hope that maybe I really could raise them up on my own. I researched on how to care for orphaned rat babies that night too.

To be honest, I'm not the most responsible person. My rat Oreo prolly really died because I didn't take care of him. But...I really was taking care of those baby rats, I was really feeding them, all of them, hoping they'll be alright and stuff.

I guess I was hoping I could make amends with them, and because I wanted to be responsible for once in my life.

Last night my mom got mad at me for those rats...well, she got md the the decision I made to raise them. She said they were pests, they might have dieseases, rabies and all of that shit.
Perhaps they have, but as of now they were helpless. They still can't see. And my mom was mad at me.

I cried too. At everything my mom told me, about the rats, about me, about how all of this just isn't right.

But, they don't deserve to die.
My mom said they do, because they're pests and no good comes from keeping them.
Nothing deserves to die just like that unless they do something that may irk you or whatnot.

They're still babies. Babies shouldn't die.

...this morning I woke up and they were gone...

My sister said mom found them dead in the morning.

Of course they would be dead. My mom told me to leave them in the room with airconditioning.

COLD.

They died because of the cold.

Not even my hat could bring them warmth.

I left them in the fishbowl and covered it with my hat but with space for oxygen to come in.

...they still died...

I found the fishbowl empty, no rats, no wood shavings..just...yeah...

I barely had those rats for two days.

But that was enough for me really.

I loved those rats. I really did. I didn't cry so much with Oreo compared to how much I did last night and today...right now...

Why the heck, how the heck...they're just rats...why am I so emotional about them?

...I guess it was because I was really sure I could raise them, or at least sure that at least one of them would make it...

Maybe I should stop having high hopes...but yeah...I'm just sad really

Hoping they're in a better place, maybe with Oreo...

I just spent half the day with my friend Kat and it was trippy. X)

First off, we were waiting for our friend at school who asked Kat to come to school tomorrow for some project or evs. I just decided to tag along when Kat told me about it.
So we waited, and waited. Then we tried calling, then we met her cousin, and said she'd come around by three o' clock.

Me and Kat had to wait for two more hours. X(

...so, insert us going around the school parking lots, me buying food (Bread Pan!) and talking to Mr. ID Man about Star Wars. xD;;

Me and Kat couldn't skate so much in school because the guards are real killjoys.
Oh then Mr. O' Riley came by......<3

Then I headed over to Kat's place and yeah, pretty trippy day.
