Through Doctor Who fandom. I had heard that David Tennant had been on it, and managed to catch that episode. Immediately after that was the one where they chase a Range Rover Sport with a tank,andI was hooked!

2- Do you watch it for the cars or the humour?

Both. I knew nothing about cars before, but now I really like them and am trying to know more about them.

3- Who is your fave presenter?

I think now I like all three of them about the same. It used to be Richard was the only one I really liked, but they grew on me, and I love them all for different reasos.

4- Why?

I suppose I should write answers for each? I love Richard because he's dead hot; I love when he gets a bit angry, and when he wears leather, and I love his hair and his shortness and how he buys crap cars off Ebay when he's drunk. James is my second favorite ATM; I love his hair, and his bad shirts, and how he keeps motorbike parts in his bath, and how when I read his columns it sounds just like how he talks, and that he loves toys and gets paid to play with them. I love Jeremy because he's so loud and opinionated, which is something I could never be, I love all his crazy ideas, and his jeans that are almost too tight, and how adorable he can be sometimes.

5- If you were to switch jobs with any one of the presenters for one day, which presenter's job would suit you you best?

I think James probably. I could never be as shouty as the other two, and I'd love to build a giant Lego house and drive stuff like the RR Phantom Drophead around.

6- Do you think you resemble one of the presenters in some way?

Probably Richard, cause I'm short and I just got my hair cut mostly off. But I think I act more like James.

7- What do you want in a car: POWEEEER!!!1one!, beauty or comfort?

I think a combination, but maybe a bit less on the POWEEEEER!!!! really. I think I go more for how well it drives and looks.

8- Got a favourite car?

Fiat 500 Abarth hands down. I want one so badly. It's adorable and the perfect size for me, but it thinks it's a Lambo.

9- Favourite strange vehicle the boys built during challenges?

Jeremy's Toybota that sank, or the swan/motorbike thing that Hammond built in Vietnam.

10- Do you often ask yourself: "How hard can it be?"

I don't say it, but if someone else does I always say "Don't say that!" automatically.

11- Hazard a guess to the Stig's identity.

He's either an alien with telepathic powers, a BBC intern, or Damon Hill.

12- Ever been to MPH/Top Gear Live?

I want to, but they have to come over to America first! We're much nicer in MN, I promise!

See above. I'd love to go over to the UK, though. Maybe someday.

14- Ever been to a studio recording of TG?

See above! But hopefully my shirt will make it there!

Oh yes. And I plan on reading more.

So far just the Big Book of Top Gear and On the Edge. I also read the magazine.

17- Did the "Good News" joke cause you to not be able to look at a Dacia Sandero in a normal way anymore?

Since I'd never heard of it before, yes! Every time someone says Good News! now, I think "is it the Dacia Sandero?"

18- Want to try blending something with Jeremy's V8 blender?

Yes please! I think that as long as it doesn't involve a brick you could make something delicious in it!

19- Did you laugh or feel sorry when Richard's beloved Oliver sank?

I always just kinda feel bad and want to hug him a bit.

20- Did you honestly believe Michael Schumacher is the Stig?

Until he started talking maybe, then I was all "put the helmet back on please!"

21- If you got to spend 24 hours in a Smart ForFour with the presenter of your choice, who would it be?

James or Richard. Either way I'd be happy. It'd just get a bit cramped with Jezza in there I think.

22- Tell us what you two did during that day you got to spend together in that Smart.

In this case, let's go with James! We could drive around and talk about all kinds of stuff, like music and cars and stuff like that. I'd probably bring something to do if I got bored, like embroidery or my sketchbook, because I'm a dork. We could sit at the beach or just go drive it around the in the country or something. I don't care!

So, I started embroidering t-shirts that I have lying around. I finished one with Oliver the car on it. I'll probably take pics of it later today and post them all. Gonna start another with a manatee on it, because I feel like it.

If anyone would like me to make a shirt for them, I'll totally do it! Just PM me or comment here and we can talk about it, since I haven't really figured out how I want this all to work. But I'm very much up for it!

Found Dead Set. Watched the first episode. Not sure that I like it that much. It's very well done though, and zombie!Davina was pretty awesome.

Stephen Fry is officially my new fandom while waiting for new Top Gear. I absolutely LOVE Last Chance to See, even though it's very sad sometimes. Waiting to be able to listen to what I'm downloading now, which is all the Harry Potter audio books from the UK, which are rad by him. Yay! and I have nearly all of QI as well.

Sad that James May's Lego house was taken down, but glad they're doing something good with it. Wish I lived over there so I could've been part of it. I hope they find Lego!Fusker.

Got a job at Target. Been doing my embroidery during breaks at work. My feet always hurt and I'm tired every day that I work, but it's money and a job for now, so I can deal with it.

Also, the new episode of House made me cry. Can't wait for more!

Top Gear season finale was sad but lovely. Can't wait for next season in November! I want full-contact airport equipment racing with touring car drivers! Yay!

Working on a dress for a "job". Need to go pick it up again and do some re-fitting. You can't expect me to fit to someone I've never met/seen/gotten measurements for, and wasn't planning to fit for anyways because you said this was a "test" piece. I don't have a magical dress form or something!!!

But anyways. Downloading like 6 episodes of QI (this seems to be my new obsession while TG is off all of a sudden) Stephen Fry FTW! Snagging all the episodes with Jeremy Clarkson in them. According to Wikipedia, he wins like all of them. LOL

Also addicted to Twitter now. I blame both Stephen Fry for being on it, and Top Gear for having Stephen Fry on and then bringing it up. My name on there is invisiblecake, BTW.

Has anyone heard of a show called Dead Set? It's supposed to be a bit scary from what I've heard, which is very little. It's British. If anyone knows where I can find it, I'll love you forever.

I had a great time at Convergence, and I'll probably have some pics to post up here when I can be bothered to upload them and all. They need to go on Facebook and LJ as well...

I did so many things at Con that I'll probably forget lots of them here. Let's see...

I drank lots without getting drunk. I exterminated the Doctor and Doctor Horrible many times. I also stalked the both of them with 4 other girls who I was staying with. I did some karaoke, I tried to go to a panel that didn't exist, I bought a few things, I watched Dr Horrible's Sing Along Blog with 500 people and it was actually a sing along (this is surprisingly fun and awesome)... I played with LED's, and I stayed up 'til 6 AM one night, and I ate cake and tea and cucumber sandwiches and actual food. I got rained on and went swimming and played Battleship lots, and danced a bit, and hung out with zombies.

I think that's a good summary for now... So many things! And then, I went home and watched Top Gear until I passed out!

Now I'm off to watch new Torchwood and sleep, because it is starting to get late and I have sleep to make up on!

Luckily, they are doing a second run, so the store is gonna hold one for me when they come in. We (Me and Jess) went in today. The guy who was working is kinda cute, in a geeky way, which I like. I hope he is there next week if I go check again. He is nice and likes Iron Man and stuff. Yay!

Still obsessed with Top Gear. May have scared Jess probably. Mostly with the descriptions of crack fic that I have read on LJ, but it's all so lovely that I can't help it! She will be forced to watch more of it before the semester ends. Can't wait until March for season 13! Aussie TG is descent, and will tide me over for a bit.

Richard looks good in a riding coat. Damn.

I can't wait for the new episode of Oz and James's Vaguely Disguised Gay Drinking Holiday! It's not really called that, but it might as well be! Makes me want to go to England and drink lots of delicious beer. Now I want a Guinness... But we have none! Why didn't I get any when we were out?!

Doctor Who wank is turning me off to the fandom. Shut up about 11 already! He hasn't even been on yet, and everyone is already judging him. It makes me not want to hang around people.

Apparently, it wasn't quite finished, and they wanted to make it perfect, so they moved back the release date to December 24th! Which is fine with me if it's going to be that good looking. They had a few images up, and it looks like it picks up right where PK Wars leaves off, like exactly. And the art looks beautiful!

I can't wait to get it! Too bad I'll have to come all the way downtown to grab it, but it'll be worth it!

I just wish I would have known this before I spent all that time going to all those stores for no reason...

I don't understand!

Well, actually, the first place I checked was a regular book store, and they don't have any sort of single issue comics at all, which is odd since they have so much manga and all those trades of things...

I ended up buying issues of Top Gear and Doctor Who magazines instead.

So then, i went to an actual comic shop on my way back from internship land, and they didn't have it either, which is weird since I asked them about it last time i went in for my Who comic fix, and they said they were getting it. But this was apparently untrue, and they said that they have the next few issues ordered, but NOT this one. it's the first issue! WTF

So then, I called Joseph and asked him to go to another shop with me, as I always forget how to get there. But when we got there, they said something like "well, we USED to have it a while ago, but not lately", as if there were comics out before this, which I'm quite certain there weren't...

So, either there's some sort of shipping problem, or these people are all idiots... or both. But I want my Farscape!!

I rally have a lot of vector things up at the moment. I need to scan some of my other stuff and stick that up, because vector isn't really my preferred way to work right now, so I feel weird with so much of it on the front page.

Speaking of TG, Jezza won Heat's weird crush of the year! That's 3 for 3 for TG now! This next ep is gonna be interesting, methinks... LOL

I've pretty much ran out of fic to read over on LJ, in terms of TG stuff. But, it's rec week in the coms, so there should be some new stuff up that I haven't seen soon enough.

I think the TG fandom may be the best fandom I've ever been in. There's pretty much no wank/ship wars, everyone is rally great, and the fic is so crack-tastic that it's scary. I love it!

Less than 2 weeks of school now! Just until next Thursday, and I'm done! Then I have another full week of internship, and I don't have to worry about that stuff anymore. Just one semester left then. *is slightly frightened*

After this, I'm going to make a quick stop at the comic store and hopefully pick up my copy of the Farscape comic! Delicious! I hope everything is as beautiful as I'm expecting. I dunno how my brain is gonna deal with the thought of actual new Farscape after so long. I hope it doesn't explode, and that I don't fan girl too much at the shop.

I now have about 30 episodes of Top Gear on my hard drive. I want to draw fan art. I talk about it constantly to EVERYONE. And I REALLY want to show it to people.

Now, most of that was going on before, but now I can add a few more things to the list.

I now spend ALL of my free time on LJ reading crack/slash fic. Mostly really cracky stuff. And they have some really cracky stuff in this fandom, which was entirely unexpected in a fandom for a car show. I still don't understand where the clingfilm came from, guys.... Please explain?

As I mentioned before, I love Richard Hammond. He's adorable, and they always make fun of him and make him do horrible things, like hypnotizing him!

But I'm slightly nervous now, as I have started to find James May attractive, too. This may be worse than when my brain decided that RDJ was hot, and I was kind of disgusted at myself for a bit, until I realized that he really IS hot, and then it was fine. In fact, I know it's worse.

Brain: Agreeing about some car stuff DOES NOT = maybe kinda hot. No. Just no.

I'm gonna go read some more of that wierd fic now.This stuff shouldn't be so hot... WTF self

Last year, I went as a space ship (there should be a drawing of it in my gallery somewhere...), and it was SO NOT GOOD for the weather here. Tiny thin dress? Bad plan.

So, this year, I am being a Dalek from Doctor Who, and everyone thinks I'm nuts, but no one has seen it all together yet, so hopefully someone will get it... I'll post pics up later after I actually take some. I need to get some glow sticks for my head lights...

My awesome sister is doing my hair and makeup at around 11, and there is the school costume contest at noon, along with the pumpkin carving contest. I made a bird with felt feathers on it. Will take pics of that, too.

Oh, and I feel much better about the Doctor Who thing now, as I got to watch more eps that I didn't have yet, and also some Torchwood S2, and I started downloading Casanova as well, since YouTube seems to have taken it down.

i just found out - literally just a couple minutes ago - that David Tennant is leaving Doctor Who after next year's specials. That means only 5 more hours of him as the Doctor.

Now, besides being pissed off and sad, I'm wondering what the frell they're gonna do with the whole River Song storyline... From the sound of it, they're together for quite a while, so I doubt that they can really wrap it up somewhere in those 4 specials, especially when they haven't even really started it yet.

I already went through this once this year, damnit! It sucked enough when it was all me being completely un-informed. Now that it's true, I just feel kinda numb, and I don't want to do anything, even though I should be working on my Halloween costume (dalek).

I know they're gonna give him a proper ending, and Steven Moffat will make sure, in all of his awesome, that the next Doctor will be thoroughly made of win, but David's the one who really got me started in this show, and I miss him already!

But hey, Patrick Stewart next year! and maybe some more Donna and the Master? Eh? Gotta make up for something... Why can't it be Christmas now?

I think it's that I really dislike Typography HW. It's boring, and we have to do, like, 25 different versions of hierarchy with the same chunk of text, AND I have 16 other expressive word pieces to do from last week. I mean, I got the 25 done, and a couple of the word ones, but I'm BORED of sitting here at my computer typing the same words over and over again for hours.

I actually left and went to a movie by myself because I've been in here for nearly 3 days without really seeing anyone. And now I'm back, and I got some of it done, but all I wanna do is read fic and maybe paint in the little drawings in my book that's due on Thursday.

Oh, and by the way, the movie I saw was City of Ember, and I thought it was gonna be really cheesy and crap, but it wasn't too bad, and it made me feel a lot better than I was earlier. And I watched a couple DVDs this weekend, too. I officially love the show All Creatures Great and Small. Maybe it's just cuz Peter Davison is in it, and I <3 him! I need to rent more of that. And Leela is an awesome companion.

I had all my HW done for class, and it was a work day, so I drew more clothes in my sketchbook since I had some Gouache with me. They will be posted next week, prob. Along with the illustration that I did for class.

Gonna buy paper for book making tomorrow morning. The hardcover one we're making in class is gonna be covered with a fabric I have that is gray with a silver floral print. yay shiny books!

I have to get the cover paper for the other, and the pages for the hardcover one. I hope we get a HW project again! I can't wait to post up the last one. It's so cute! I miss it!

I want a Vote Saxon t-shirt bad. I saw one on Zazzle, and I want to buy it and wear it around school. And I want Torchwood season 2, and Jekyll, as they are both awesome.

So, tomorrow is Sunday (actually, it's really Sunday now, but I haven't slept yet, so whatever). Me and Madison have the first official meeting of SciFi club at school at 6. I'm so excited! I got an email last night that went out to every student, and it had a mention in it. I hope lots of people come. We forgot to write that we were bringing some snacks, though. Damn.

I have a bunch of stuff to show, but there's no garentee that anyone's going to want to watch any of it. I have various series that I own that I'll bring with so people can choose. I'm planning on bringing at least Farscape, Quantum Leap, Firefly, and some stuff that I have on an external hard drive which is all really obscure stuff that isn't out on DVD here like The Invisible Man and The Chronicle, as well as some Netflix stuff I got which is disk 2 or 3 of Red Dwarf and the first disk of the mini series Taken. All very good things, but what if no one wants to watch any of it? I'm kinda nervous.

Also, I just put a new picture up, and it got so many hits already! It makes me really happy. In under a minute it got about 5 faves, which is frelling awesome. I hope it keeps going like that.

I had a lot of fun in my classes today. In the morning, some of the guys in our class did a puppet show called "Robo Red Riding Hood", which was hilarious. It was all little puppets on sticks, and there was an Iwolf, and it was a box that spit out bits of paper with words on them instead of talking. LOL. Then we watched a horribly amazing movie in which Christopher Walkins played Puss in Boots. It was also a musical, which was mostly the terrible part of it. Otherwise it was just kinda not so good. After seeing all the actors, it was a bit like the cat from Red Dwarf, Hermione from Harry Potter, and the new Flash Gordon. I couldn't stop thinking that as I was watching.

Then in the afternoon, I had screen printing class, and we had a huge long crit, and the teacher baked a bunch of stuff for all her classes, and it was all tasty. I ate lots.

After class, me and Jess and Red got food and bubble tea, and watched XMen 3 and stuffs, and they got drunk, and now here I am doing homework. Not a bad day, cept for the coldness outside.

Tomorrow I have another crit of this thing that I'm putting together now (it is drying), which is being held together by glue and a bit of thread in places. I hope it works!

Just got done with Illustration and Patterns classes today. Hopefully I did okay on that test this morning.

And Feli and Aaron came. That was cool. Feli made me an adorable plushie apple. It's so damn cute! I asked her to make me a lemon, too. Yay!

Also, Kaylene said that she would totally want to cosplay Wing Zero if I did a gundam thing, which I really want to. I wanna be Heavyarms this time. And Jess wants to be Deathscythe. I'm thinking of moving Ulala to my secondary costume, and then having Honey as well, and making Heavyarms my main one for Saturday. it would be fun if I could make it better than last year's.

But no time to worry about that now. I have a lot to do.

Tomorrow, I am going to the fabric store to get the last bits for my Art Sale hats, and staying at home for the night. We got a kitten. She is adorable!

Then on Monday, I have to work on my furniture homework and cut all my plywood. On Tuesday, I'll do my screen printing since there are no classes, and then I can work on my illustrations, which I am loving so far, even though I just have a few of the sketches done, but I have 2 weeks, so it's fine. I hope they turn out well.

I'm gonna go to bed now so I can get up early to go to the store!

I have a class this afternoon, which is cool, but I think the illustration I did for homework kinda sucks, and I also slept through my morning class. Again. This is the second time now, though last week I managed to get in there and sign in without the teacher noticing, but not today. Luckily, I managed to take the test I missed yesterday, so I'm all caught up.

Then I have work tomorrow, which I really don't wanna go to, but I will get to see my mom and sister, as they are meeting me for dinner. I have to remember to call them and have them bring my sewing machine and dress. And then after work, I have to do my homework for my morning class the next day, which is a lot of reading and a short essay, I think. But I don't get home until around 9:30, so I'm gonna be tired again.

I also have sketches and another short essay due in the afternoon on Thursday, and I have no idea what I want to do. Luckily, we are going on a field trip for part of the day. Woo!

And also on Friday, my furniture class is going to IKEA. More sketches due there, which bugs me, as I have to rethink most of my design to include metal. Also, my teacher says that my favorite part of my piece is not IKEA-like enough, and that I should re-think it. But then it would be just a bunch of straight lines and that would be boring, and I don't want to make that. Whatever.

I also have work on Saturday again, for 8 hours, and I have to find time to go home and get my hair fixed, and sew my halloween costume, and I have Junior Reviews on Monday morning. Hopefully, I won't have horribly too much homework and I can go home for a bit on Monday afternoon to at least do my hair or something.

I think I am going to explode.

But yeah, this weekend has been crazy fun so far. Every night I get back to my room and pass out because I'm just so entirely exausted. It's great! Even though I had trouble staying awake through the yaoi last night.

I got a couple commissions yesterday from the bazaar. One is Gaara from Naruto, and the other is a character from Kingdom Hearts who's name I don't have with me at the time. I hope Crispin likes his Allen one, and I'm sad that I didn't take a pic of it before hand.

Anyway, I will once again have many extra pancake plushies from this weekend, and tonight I'll post up a list on here of all that I have left. If anyone would like to buy any, I'd be happy to mail them out to you. Just message me if you want one.

I guess I should list some of the shows that I want to show at least the first week. I plan on letting the peolpe who come bring things or make suggestions. There may possibly be voting involved. Here is my list:

Farscape, from the beginning
The Chronicle
The Invisible Man
New Flash Gordon
possible Quantum Leap if I can get around to buying it
Maybe Firefly, though it is rather well known, and I'm not so much into showing things people have already seen a lot.

I expect that other people will have other tings they'd lie to watch. I like showing people shows that they probably haven't even heard of, and would like the poster to reflect that somehow.

So, any ideas?

Anyways, I'm bored and without a class today. I am also unable to work on any HW, as the printmaking shop has a class in it at the moment. Damn. I have 8 screenprints due on Thursday, asn so must go back in tonight around 9:30 to atleast get 1 color done for the day.

Has anyone else seen the new Flash Gordon? It's rather good. I have the 3rd ep downloading right now. I like the humor in it, and the way the wormholes are done. They're pretty.

And hey, if anyone wants a custom plushie, I have some to make soon anyways, so go ahead and message me for stuff. Also, I'm gonna be selling what I have at School Girls and Mobile Suits during the Otaku Bazaar, so look for me there!

Oh, and just to warn you, I may have pink hair...

1. I just got back from Hawaii, where I got a quarter from a sea turtle!

I finished the One Piece commission I got at Detour. 2 left! Human Shigure and Rock Lee. I should be able to at least get them started in the next week, and I'm gonna mail out the finished one tomorrow. I have pics taken of it, and they will be posted when I can get them to my comp.

Got bored and made TekTeks of I-Man characters. I was really bored. I don't think I can put them up here, but I'll put them somewhere...

I am moving soon, and at some point during the packing of things from my dorm and then re-packing them at home, I misplaced all of my plushie patterns. Hopefully they will be found soon after getting to the new house. I have 3 commissions left from con, and then I can start ones from on here. I'll probably do both plushies and hats.

I'm sorry if you had a comission from Detour and I haven't made it yet, but it's finals time, and I will get to work on them first chance I get, which will probably be next week sometime.

Also, there are still quite a few plushies left over from Detour. For a full list, see my previous entry. It has a list.

I should have a load of things to put up here next week if I can get my computer hooked up right away at the house. I'll probably put them up slowly ovr time, as there are so many of them. Lots.

Finally nearly done with my huge drawing final. I just have to go back in tomorrow and add some details and layering a little.

Well, off to do HW for tomorrow so I can spend all day with the drawing final!
