I haven't worked on Cadeyrn since summer ended, which is normal.

I've mostly been just hanging out at school. Sophomore year is way better than last year. I have all the cool teachers, none of the bad ones, and all my classes are without the wannabe gangsters with single-digit IQ's, drug addictions, and a whole lot of testosterone. My 3rd period is completely free in the band room, so I basically play guitar or mooch off my teacher's coffee or play video games with a friend. So, with all of this unfamiliar ease, I think for once I may be able to get started on my first school year of artistry. I feel pretty lazy just hanging out and mooching off other people's music, books, games, and other creations instead of what I usually do, making my own.

Did I mention I'm finally able to start a serious metal band? We got a lead guitarist, rhythm guitarist, me on bass, a drummer, and the best part is they're all really good friends of mine. We're deciding who'll sing pretty soon, as well, but judging by the voices of all of us, it'll probably end up being the rhythm guitarist or me. Oh, I also need to start writing songs!

Girl: pushes him harder and says, "No, don't."

Guy: getting aggravated, punches her and tells her to stop "playing hard to get".

Girl: crying, continues to fight.

Guy: punches her harder, pulls her pants off, and holds her down.

Girl: screams as he penetrates her, "NO, please don't do this to me!"

Guy: puts his hand over her mouth.


An hour passes.........

Guy: pulls back and wipes himself off.

Girl: sits on the corner of the seat, crying.

Guy: looks at her and says, "You better not tell anybody about this. If you're really my friend, you won't tell anybody about this. You know I love you." He reaches out his hand to touch her cheek.

Girl: pulls back, "Just take me home, now."

Guy: says, "Alright." Gets in the front seat and drives her home.


2 months later.........

Girl: "Doctor, what's wrong with me? I haven't had my time of the month in 2 months."

Doctor: looks at her, "You haven't been having your "time" for a reason."

Girl: looks at him and says, "Why?" dreading the answer that she was sure to receive.

Doctor: "You are pregnant."

Girl: faints.


The story gets out that she is pregnant, and people start looking to the Guy. He claims that it isn't his because she was sleeping with every guy in the school(which was a lie). He goes to her and tells her, "I'm telling you, if you lie to people and say that I raped you, I'll kill you."


The Girl is completely devastated. First, he took her virginity and got her pregnant....then he lied about it. So completely depressed......the girl commits suicide by drug overdose.......


Girls, if this story touched you, put this in your journal as "No means no!"

Guys, if this story pisses you off, put in your journal as 'I'll kill any idiot who does this to my girl, or any girl"

Everyone who reads my stuff says they love it, and that it could go far, in dA and in real life. So why isn't it? I honestly don't know...

What got me was this:
"Leo-Garth has 2,182 pageviews total and his 47 deviations were viewed 2,069 times. He watches 20 people, while 11 people watch him.

Overall, his deviations received 93 comments and were added to deviants' favourites 13 times, while he commented 340 times, making about 0.63 comments per day since he joined DA. This means that he gave 37 comments for every 10 that he received.

These statistics shock me because they seem like a lot, but somehow the actual amount of comments and faves I get don't match the feeling that quote gives.

The new friends I've made on this site was really great, but my ultimate goal here was always to get discovered.


On a side note, I recently realized something. I used to be a hater of Twilight, but then a friend who is a girl showed me a little excerpt of her copy. I still can't say I like the story, or the characters, but Stephanie Meyer's writing style is insanely awesome.

I found this article by some genius who totally says what I've been saying for a long time! I used to think only I thought this, and it's comforting to know others do as well.

As far as my writing, Winter Break starts on Saturday, so I'll be making short stories more often than like once a half-year, and working even harder on my books.

Well, for now, I can't think of anything to add to my Journal stuff besides spending a month having my stamps posted in my Journal instead of a link to my favorites... Maybe I'll get ideas later.

For the record, I finished Brisingr and The Last Wish a long time ago. I'm finally finishing Time Streams and I'm back on the MTG addiction!


I know this means I'll take longer to finish everything, but I must! For the sake of my creativity! I got another great idea for a book or series, and I'm going to start writing it. What it's about I shall not reveal, but it's pretty much Tolkien's idea of the Arthurian Fantasy--at least that's the genre--with humans, elves, and a few races of my own. This is way too long to be a short story, so it's going to be an entire book! Or series--I'm not done planning the story yet.

The story itself is heavily based on a Roleplay (which is just a long story that people take turns writing excerpts of, only controlling their own character(s) in the plot) on Kinsaki. Sadly, thanks to a big wipe caused by incompetent retarded server hosts, Kinsaki was recently wiped of everything that happened after April 21st, including that specific RP, but luckily for me I've got it all in my head. I'm not letting this strip of inspiration die so easily.


, I recently bought BRISINGR and THE LAST WISH (the day Brisingr came out)!!!! I'm halfway through Brisingr and I hope you're all jealous now. Many people in my school are...


And also, although my brother ~Tharikifa is at college, that means I'm getting to use his awesome computer and play video games without lag for the first time in my life! Good news for me, but... I guess you didn't care about that little sentence there. Well then go suck--

I've suddenly become inspired with an awesome new short story idea. This will be my longest short story yet! I'm writing it as we speak

I know my story isn't done yet, but school has started and entering high school takes a lot of time out. I will have it done as soon as I can, though; just expect everything I do from now until next summer to be not as quick as they all were in summer.

My loyal lovers of me probably already know what I'm talking about--Remember that old story with Leo Garth in it that I threw away because of too many plot holes? Well, I'm gonna FINALLY get my buttered ass out of the gutter, and I'm beginning to plan The Real Clone. I'm gonna fix all of the plot holes, change the characters, and give it a way better feel. Yes, this is no story thought of by the Zelda-obsessed 8-year-old Jimi Bove. No, this is the bad ass 14 year old Jim Rhodes's version of it. Expect some kind of update soon enough, but for now I'm off to FIX THOSE PLOTHOLES!!!

Anyhoo (always wanted to say that!), I wrote a song that I actually managed to FINISH!!! People have told me the guitar solo is strange and sounds like jazz--hear it yourself!

I also got Halo working again and beat it for the very first time. The very first time because, the last time it worked, it was on a computer so crappy that it couldn't survive Chief being blasted by his own shield.

And the Writers-Club will be forming a new contest soon, which I will join and submit something awesome to! I love writing short stories .

In other news, a piece of my bass's bridge chipped off and so I can't play it for a few days.

And I have just heard of the British literary magazine, Bottom of the World, and that they get their literature from submissions from anyone. I've subscribed to receive issues, and you all should, too! Sadly, it says in the rules any submissions to them must not be published ANYWHERE else, electronically or on paper, so I'll find out whether I can submit my Bottom of the World submissions to dA AFTER it's been published on Bottom of the World, but I'm not making any promises. But really, I should be able to; if not, I'm not submitting anything to them because it would mean they practically had ALL of the rights to the prose. And selling out is not how I roll.

The best part is, if I win all of the contests I've entered, I'll have a full TWELVE--that's a year!!!--months of subscription to live on while I try to win more. And that's not including this one, which has yet to list the rewards and receive my unfinished entry for it. I just may be able to have a subscription live on contests for a very long time. BUT--dA is so awesome, I would hate to not support them with a paid subscription once I can!

My dA 1st year anniversary of joining is coming up--I thought I'd do something special. Who can help me think of something?

I have finished my deviation for that contest with unknown rewards, which I've found is, among other things, 1 month of subscription. So that's THIRTEEN months!!!

Heh, has anyone noticed the Watching value of my entries have lately always been based on the title of the song I'm listening to? Me neither!!!

Well, my brother's new girlfriend, who's actually had a crush on him since they were little, is very cool. We have a lot in common and already call each other "brother" and "sister." But what's been bothering me is after spending a lot of time with me, she plainly said:

"Jimi, you are so awesome. You'll have no trouble finding a girlfriend. Unlike someone over here! (Heh, a joke.)"

Now, that bothers me because I find that hard to believe. Because of my metal, computer skills, non-interest in sports, and the fact that no one ever really sees how much ass I kick with bass, I'm sorta thought of as a loser among them. Most of the girls say they would never like me in that way.
So now, I could use some help. Compliments? Hell, I have songs and writings up here; who would like to help convince me that I have many talents, and they just can't be expressed at my school without me looking like a total ego-freak?




As a non-personal ending, I would like to mention I've made some progress on my contest story. It's comin' soon, just like WALL-E.
And who noticed I found and joined two more writing clubs?

For the record, I decided to make that book be in first person, because wouldn't it be an awesome idea to do a first person story through someone with amnesia?

And most of you have probably noticed that I randomly posted a bunch of photoshoppings up here. Well, Mario and Luigi and Geordolf Bushler were both made long ago, and I'm not perfectly happy with them. I just posted them here for what little comic value they had left.

Whereas, This is Bob and Big Fat Starcraft Rip-Off, I scrambled to finish in a few minutes, the very day they came on. I think they're great, but don't forgot almost all my work says "Advanced Critique Encouraged."

I've also started planning a book that's set in the near future, the mood will kind of be like the mood of National Treasure 1 & 2, and the story is quite solid. It's sort of post-apocalyptic, but later into the story it gets majorly post-apocalyptic!

BTW, I finished the Red Dwarf series long ago! And Arch Enemy is my new favorite band.

Anyway, about my new book--since I'm writing fantasy, I'm gonna do it the old fashioned flawless way--I'll plan it out, then come up with the story, and then write the actual book. Considering that's true, I'll need to start actually using my journal.

Now, my novel(s) is/are called "The Chronicles of Cadeyrn." Cadeyrn is a Celtic name, because the Human societies he was born into are based on the Celts, and have a similar language. I always loved Celts and other Pagans because I'm a descendant from them and they seem all dark and metal-ish. I'm actually learning the Celtic language and naming places of my novel(s) after names like star, roof, mouth, so on.

I've already planned out everything except for the history and religions. Then I can start writing the storyline bulk.
