HIATUS - POSTPONED

Aug 29th, 2008 - This may sounds funny.. I decided to postponed my hiatus coz we Malaysian will have 3 days holiday from now till 1st Sept. We're celebrating our National Day! XD

I haven't repair my laptop yet.. I'll postpone that too, to some other time. >__> yeah probably.. it's not at its best now, but still working.. I love it to death. =3

Aug 22nd, 2008 - As I said in the past updates, Leo's PC is sick.. and I'm having LAN problem (I said it in my latest deviation). Looks like the problem did not end there..
I noticed that my laptop is having browser problem and much more other unidentified problems too.. Maybe it's time for reformatting my laptop and adding "more" external hardware to it, damn. I dont know why it should happen at this time, the time I wanted to rest and enjoy myself the most - IN MY HOLIDAY.
I feel like half of me gone just like that and my whole holiday is totally wasted quarrellings with telephone operator to get my line fixed, and PC shop has been my favorite destination for the past few days. >__>

So, hiatus time. This probably take a long time coz I'm going back to work soon. *how am I suppose to live without my laptop and internet~~~ D: *

Just random talk... I submitted an entry for *sapphirez contest 2-3 days ago.. I was shocked to see that it received 40+ favs in less than 24 hours.. wow, just wow.. not so sure if it's because of the title tho. (the contest is quite popular).. XD

First of all, thanks for reading my journal (and comment) regarding the art collab I did with a friend not too long ago. I really appreciate that. Now I know some of you do read the artist's comments. Thanks and love you all.

Recently, I fall for this old japanese rock group - OTOKOGUMI (80's).. I'm looking for their hits collection album (1999) online but the only place that I can find selling it worldwide is out of prints. The rest of the sites are in Japanese, I cant understand them and I believe that shipping internationally are unavailable. >.<
Is there anyone out there can help me find other URLs to buy this CD? >.< Please contact me, thanks so much in advance.

July 13th - I was involved in an accident last night (about 2030 hrs) between a car (me and my friend) and a a pick-up Toyota HiLux (is it spelled this way? ).. The car was damaged badly, either a total lost or need months to repair. However, we are still alive with no very serious injury other than I lost my pretty face. God must love us very very much. I should start to be a good and nice person. >.<

I regret so much that the other party (the hiLux driver) was drunk. I hope he learned his lesson and receive a harsh punishment. Please, DONT DRINK AND DRIVE, you may kill the innocents.

CONTEST B FAQ.

I hope these will cover all of your questions.. but if they're still not, feel free to note us at *LeoAndBan with proper subject.

1. Do you have any reference?
-Erk, how did you get here without looking at the reference pictures first? o.0
All characters reference can be found in our contest page [link]

2. Do I have to draw all of them?
-No, you only have to draw at least 1 of them.. that means from 1 to all - choose your lucky number. XD

3. Do I have to draw the characters in their original outfits?
-Not necessary. You can design your own outfit (you can make some hairdo too) as long as they fit the character. example, NO mini skirt for Haruka, cigarrete for Suzu or odango for Hime.

4. Can I draw characters that is not listed in your list, such as Jana's stepbrother - Jan?
-You may draw them, but not as the main subject in your entries.

5. Can I draw my original characters having fun together with your characters?
-No , please.. This contest is about our character only.

6. Can I draw Reiko and Jana in their sailors outfits?
-No, those outfits are made for fun.. they're actually NOT sailors.

7. Can I draw BaN~ and freiya together with your original characters in a single picture and enter both contests with it?
-No, please don't mix them together.

8. May I know the relationship between your characters coz I dont wanna draw the wrong couple.
9. May I know the character personalities coz I don't wanna draw them doing the wrong action.
-You can find their personalities and their relation in the character's profiles. It's ok to draw 2 or more characters that is not related to each other.. but dont make them as couple when they're not or doing things that they won't do.
example :
"Hime was smiling while watching HevnDemon and Khayyin playing card tricks" is not allowed coz Hime never smile.
"Reshi and Jason were eating ice-cream together" is allowed. <--ok bad example there but you'll get the idea. XD

10. Are yaoi/yuri pairings allowed?
-If you really have to do it, please make it as mild as you can.. kissing or anything beyond that is definitely NO. However, accidental kiss might be considered.
It is advised that you contact the owner(s) of the characters first to discuss this matter. (In this case, the owners should be Leo or BaN )

11. Is nudity allowed?
-Mostly No. A topless guy is ok, but no topless girl please. A naked guy in bath tub is ok as long as he shows nothing below his waist. Keep in mind that sexy and naked are 2 different things.

12. Is gory allowed?
-No.. but since we have some demon characters, some blood will be ok.. but please make sure it's not over the limit - NO psycho killer, inner organs, dead human/animals.. come on we know that you can think of other creative way to express your feeling.

13. Can I make cross-over?
-Cross-over between Leo's and BaN's characters are recommended, but no Naruto teasing Ran, or Sailormoon standing next to Yvonne etc

14. Can I make cosplay then?
-Sorry, no.

The main purpose of these contests are to gather drawings of our Ragnarok Online characters (CONTEST A) and our original characters(CONTEST B) as much as we can. It is because we want more arts of these characters (in various drawing/coloring styles) but we're too lazy to draw them ourselves, can't afford to commission many artists and have not much time to do art trade with everyone.

err.. lets start by saying "thank you" for all ppls who hv supported our 1st illustmanga zine, and all the 5th Season staff who hv work really hard, especially (u worked SUPER HARD~!!! >_< ). I love u guys veryx200 much~!

Although Leo and me was very tired, the journey took us more than 200km, and lots of money spent (including the hotels, transport, food *yea i LOVE to EAT!* ), i think that the experience we gained is priceless. /no1

I also feel very happy to meet lots of marvellous friend-artist LIVE! such as , , etc. thx guys for those sketches.. really, really, really luv 'em.. XD after this, i wont imagining ur faces anymore.. since ive met the real persons.. hehe
hopefully nxt year we'll meet again..ur manga ROCKS~!!

BUT it's hard to get FREE internet.. so i prefer to use it at optimum. XD

SONG TALK :
currently i'm still crazy about the old L`arc-en-ciel song entitled Hitomi no Jyuunin. While searching some Kinki Kids PV for , I also find out that actually FLAME also has a good rap song - Remind. Currently i'm a bit addicted to this song too.
Other PV that i wish to recommend is KAMEN by Tackey and Tsubasa. I love the part when both of them are trying to take off their opponent's masks. XD

MOVIE TALK :
uhm.. i just watched the amytiville horror and bewitched. the 1st movie wasn't scary enuf.. and the 2nd, like always.. nicole kidman looks so pretty. but it's kinda confusing if you never know about the old bewitched series.
i also rewatched an old movie - 'clash of the titans' (1981) several days ago. Hoho, i always love the medusa and the giant scorpions.. guess that fantasy genre is always caught my attention.
