I dislike finding dried up spiders that lie in their cobweb tomb. With that notion, I started to feed it. It's belly has gotten bigger and tonight I found out why I always see the corpses in another place from where I dropped them! It drags the prey to the "feeding area" which is near the corner and gobbles it down! Probably drops it on the ground as I see the other corpses. @w@;;;

Yes, I had fun watching it. Although, I'm not sure what I'm going to do when it starts to lay its eggs. I rather not have more little spiders everywhere. ...Might call for drastic measures.

I have many photos to go through, maybe crop, and then upload. I think the Washington DC trip have satisfied my photographer needs (for now.) And yes, for those who reads my journal, we went to the Lincoln Memorial! So happy that I took a little too much pictures.

The next folder I'm going to go through is all the photos I took at the Washington DC zoo. Kekekeke, I'm so happy that I took some good shots. Although I did miss some because my camera was being slow. ;A; (And later ran out of batteries at the bird exhibit.)
I need to get a better camera because shooting through glass was horrible.

Even though the first visit I ran out of batteries, my dad and I went back to the exhibit just for me to photograph the birds! \o/ Alas, I had some good shots but I missed many good first visit shots. Birds, I can't get them to pose for me. xD

Anyway! I'm on "vacation" in Washington D.C. My family and I are really helping my brother move his stuff over to his new place. And when we have free time go actually do some sight-seeing and restaurant eating.

I tried veal for the first time...I think I picked the wrong kind of dish to first try it! By the description I thought there's going to be a lemon on the side and you choose to squeeze it on the fried veal. Buttttt nooooo, it was already in it! Guuuhhh. It wasn't that bad...just lemony. ;A;

Also, this is the first hotel that I actually like the bed! More or less, sleep in it without any itchy or hard problems. (Last hotel - itchy blankets and sheet! (I'm not talking about bedbugs. xD ))

Enough about my real life adventures, art related things:

...Massive photograph paradise in Washington D.C.! Although I don't think we are going to the main sight-seeing there (White house, Lincoln memorial, Washington Monument, etc.) We did go to Georgetown (since my brother just graduated from there). I'll be uploading a lot of photographs from there. (Editing out my poor brother for some of them. lol)
I missed some good photograph opportunities, a fat squirrel was right in front of me in a small tree. But it moved away when I was fumbling with my camera. Doh! I did get it on the branches but alas! It is blocked by leaves and such.

I wanted to get some airplane photos since they were flying lowish all above the buildings.

BUILDINGS!!! They were awesome!

My memory card for my camera was full after that trip. :3

On the side note, I really don't like city life. Everyone walks fast, the noise, the commuting, and etc. I'm a slow hermit crab. o3o;

Been reading some of my other classes' books. Extremely glad that they don't read like normal academic books. Or else, I wouldn't be be talking about them at all.

Hrm, I found my photoshop book. Now I've begun to read it to learn more about features that I was an idiot to not understand about! I'm on a journey for rediscovering my inner art. o3o

One more thing! I have an anime/manga to recommend watching/reading (if you like cuteness and kittens), Chii's Sweet Home.

The past week I've been suffering from the flu! Not fun stuff. I'm still technically recovering. I still have a cough and a running nose problem to get over. Hopefully it'll be some time this week end!

My mood says it all. I'm practically relieved right now. Our (my partner and I) presentation is over. I had my usual stage fright but I got over the river (somehow). Yes, I consider this to be something big. So I'm happy that it's over with. xD

Although, I'm mentally celebrating in my head. I have other things that will come to grasp my worry. *cough*Oceans Test*cough* in the guise of a midterm. 2D Design decided to give me something I shouldn't procrastinate on. (If I do, I'll have a dead and numb hand the next day.) D: Not something good in my category. So, I'll be working on that.

Some art idea has been nagging on my mind lately. And I think I should do it soon because I like to feel my tablet-art-mood groove again.

I finally finished that art trade as I'm sure whomever stops by here can tell. LEEK. <_<;

Anyway. So what I have been doing? My enjoyable classes, of course! All except for one...The Oceans. I need a science credit but why does it have to be so BORING? Sad face for it. D:

Other than that...Japanese class is still very entertaining. Verb conjugation scares the crap out of me still. But I'm memorizing them down so it won't be AS PAINFUL. Intro to CMC (Computer Mediated Communication) is also fairly fun. I'm required to keep a blog and make 3 blog postings every week. Ohohoho! Writing anything we want so far. It's probably going to end this week...but that's okay.

SO WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH PROCRASTINATION?
I'm getting to that. 2D Design class - value art. Shading, gray scale, and replicating photocopy. I think that would explain it. I'm almost done but it's already late at night...well early in the morning. It's not due until 7:00pm tomorrow. But... YEA. I'm paying for my procrastination. It's so bittersweet. I ran ad-aware and of course it told me MALWARE EVERYWHERE. And one of them didn't get deleted - ad-aware told me to restart to get rid of it. BAD IDEA. Restarting gave me BSOD (blue screen of death. Even while trying to get into safe mode.)

I have another sickening feeling that all my FILES ARE GONE. In other words, all my artwork that I have been doing...*sad face*.
All my writing...

After hyperventilating, I figured I should ask one of my technical friends. Turns out my files might not be 100% out of reach. There's some hope left.

I await his arrival currently.

Other than this amazing event, I should be studying Japanese. I have a placement test on Monday. Which, along with most of the class, we are going to fail horribly (exaggeration).

I'm spending it asking myself questions, things about the future, jobs, friends, and life in general. It's the same questions that I have been wondering ever since I noticed the last weeks in 12th grade.

Other than these thoughts, I'm working on the super old art trade that I have with rubymight. I finally finished the tedious line art and started to color. Yet another thing blocks my way. How should I do her character's wings? And how should I color? Something different?

This semester I'm taking 2D design and I have been thinking of trying out other things. I remember back in 11th and 12th grade that I always stuck with things I'm comfortable with. Never trying anything new. I drew animals in boring positions. I stayed with the principle of design and always has a very simple vocal point.

I'll try something different.

With all these new thoughts, I'm going to take even longer with artworks that I am drawing, coloring, and sketching. I'm tired of being stuck in the same mud.

With this resolution, I'm going to build my confidence this semester.

Alas, other feelings and emotions have been itching at me. Doubts, insecurities, hope, etc. I want to see what I'm good at. I'm writing small snippets, finding more ways to color, and wanting to share more with a certain someone. Expanding my horizons. Sorting out my feelings.

I need to crack my shy shell and start speaking to others more naturally in real life.

Bad news: I feel like crap emotionally and technically. (Technical as in computer stuff.)

WHY? My wininet.dll is apparently corrupted. It shuts down my internet explorer when I try to access sites that have... erm...I suppose, javacript? o.O; And one of my mmorpgs don't work anymore! How did this happen? I have no idea. My idiotic hunch is that quad c (my summer college) required me to lower my privacy and block settings on internet explorer so that a program they have will run properly. ...IS THAT HOW? ...Or perhaps it's all my stupidity with computers. ._.;

I don't know. Technical stuff fries my brain. If anyone has any advice, I'm all ears!

Until then...*reads computing forums with similar problems*

After class, I was at a lost to what to do. My thoughts elsewhere. I still had no real inspiration to draw anything. I got one month before summer school. And I need to relearn math to retake a placement test. Funny how I really don't remember any "hard" math from my high school years. Hopefully I score higher than my previous score... because I am no mood to spend all my summer over two math classes. That's just how the community college at my place works. Can't really "pick" classes...unlike the real college I go to...

To save money, you'll have to sacrifice time and sanity.

Been looking through DA contests to get some sort of inspiration. I do have one of them in mind... but I don't know if I can actually produce something. Other thoughts I'm dealing with consumes me. They aren't very pleasant either. Let's just say an old friend went and got herself brainwashed by a religious cult after an emotional event in her life. And I can't do anything about it. I'm too far away.

My peachy-happy relationship with my bf is hitting some rocky bumps. ...Or perhaps I just think too much... *sigh*

It begun in a dream. To make a long story short, two clones of my boyfriend were fighting over me. They exchanged so many arguments that it made the Dream-world me go crazy, confused, and depressed. o_O; Apparently I thought I was cheating on my boyfriend. So, I was hiding in a corner muttering how I will go about my demise.

SO I WOKE UP BEFORE MY DREAM ME EVEN ACTED OUT THE EXTREME VERSION OF DEPRESSION. SAVED!

I cuddled my stuffed panda and then I positioned it where I can see its whole body.

As for today...I plan to catch up on some ZzzZz and draw~~~ Since my family and I are moving to a new place (although basically same region) - I've been cleaning out and finding a lot of old sketches. I got this grand idea of re-drawing some of them. So maybe one of these days there's going to a be a flood of stuff posted. XD

In class today, I sketched out a new web design layout for my website~~~I think it's a better idea than my really plain one... The colors won't be as dark and fiery. This time around it'll be light green and pink (possibly some red and white...).

I probably have to change the "title/logo" of my website too. I'll use one of my other cat (girl) character, Momo... she's cute... @_@;;; Don't know, I'm still debating who to use. (Koto or Momo!? Ahaha, I like 4 letter names for some reason...)

Anyway, I believe that my opening caught there attention - which is good...since they are my audience. (I storyboard the first episode, first part - sets up how the fish dies and how there's actually a villain in the story.)

So I got comments after presenting.

Comments: "It's really bizarre, but it's really interesting."

"Awwww..."

"I like the cartoon that Mr. Simple was watching."

But on a side note...I didn't really get any suggestions or constructive criticism. I don't really know what to make of that.

Oh great fun. I still have a lot of ideas - I want to draw. It's just that I don't have the time to do so right now. Oh noes! Hopefully another time I will find the time to sit down and draw for extended amounts of time.

I'm rather sad that my mom can't accept that I'm drawing for fun to improve my skills. She did tell me a year ago that she will be glad to see me draw anything else other than schoolwork. o_O. Oh well. People forget.

And I'm typing my woes on here. Joys of this world. Maybe I should revert back to writing stories for awhile O_o...
