4 years…since I’m around here on DeviantArt. I remember the exact day! I was in New York City after attending Joe Bonamassa live appearance at B.B. King’s Blues Club. I caught the last train home and couldn't sleep because being hyper. I needed to upload my photos somewhere so I did it right away that night here on DeviantArt. I kept only a few of them in my gallery since then but Joe became the guitarist with the best sound in the whole Blues & Rock music today (he had only 50k plays on LastFM when I took over the group dedicated to him; now he has almost 1300k plays).

In the meantime I continued to shoot concerts – which in my opinion is the most difficult type of photography mainly because of the unstable WB & low light conditions combined with the handheld shooting (I am also using manual focus all the time). I still don’t consider myself a photographer but I know I advanced a lot – the reason why I’m trying to switch from Pentax to Nikon (if anyone is interested in buying Pentax stuff, please note me ASAP!). Oh, I almost forgot: it was my birthday not a long time ago and my birthday gift is my dream camera: a lovely – and for connoisseurs, a revolutionary – Nikon F5 analog camera but till next year I'm still submitting my latest photos taken with my Pentax MZ50.

I am watching around 600 people on DeviantArt but only 50-60 of my watchers are constantly watching me (don’t know why). I am not looking for fame or DD’s but I got my 25th thousand page views recently and I appreciate it because I worked hard for every one of them. I thought this is also a (straight photographic) social network therefore I replied to every comment and feature to my photos; but I can't ignore people who just hit & run on this site. Anyway, for those who care, here are the links to other places where I am present:

- my portfolio here on DeviantArt
- my concert & live shows photos on Flickr
- my musical taste page on LastFM (btw, working in Sound Production would be a dream job for me)
- my (musical) blog on WordPress

I am thinking to make a News article (actually my first one) with the most amazing photos I found on DeviantArt during these 4 years. When ready I’ll update this journal with the proper link.

In conclusion, my life changed a lot over these 4 years. I lived & moved around 2 continents and an island, I went to heaven through hell (if they exist) and came back to earth but I’m still kicking...(com)passionately, don't get me wrong!.

P.S. I would be glad to see your comments to this journal if you want to share your opinion about how (your) life changed in the last 4 years.

…And one more thing. Every day is a miracle. Live it, don’t waste it!

&

Yours truly
