Wow man...the inauguration was something else. The speech was wonderful, and exactly what we all needed to hear, I enjoyed it immensely.

Props to him for knowing that the speech was messed up, but just running with it. Very cool.

Little Rev. Dude at the end. XDD Hilarious, and great.

The parade...x.x Looooong. I went to sleep during the lunch, and came back to see the last 40 minutes of the Parade. Espanola Vally High School's Mariachi band, well, they are lucky. They're from my state, not far from where I live.

I must say, Good Riddance, to President Bush. I cheered out loud when he got on the helicopter and flew away. Back to Texas where he belongs. 8D

Well that's about all I have to say on the days events right now. XD My mom and I spent most of the day glued to C-SPAN watching the whole thing, and will be watching the Balls as soon as they come on, though due to Ted Kennedy collapsing at the lunch, they're late. XDDD About 2 hours behind schedule. But you know, life happens, and he'll be fine, so, it's all good.

Well, goodbye to 2008, and hello 2009. I sit here as the New Year is already sweeping throughout the eastern world, and I wait for it to arrive here.

Good morning! This journal has no point, other than for me to just...mumble about whatever I feel like. XD

Maybe like the fucking dog not shutting up. >> Fucking stupid thing won't stop whining, and my dad won't take them out. And it is fucking cold so I am not gonna take the fucker out, so I am not gonna take the idiot dogs out.

I wanna coooookie. XD But I am too lazy to get up. And I dunno what kinda cookie I want, if I want a sugar cookie, or a ginger cookie, or a powdered sugar cookie. XD Cooookies. And I want to decorate the damn tree, but my lazy ass dad won't bring in the lights or the decorations or anything, so we can't do any of it.

But! Speaking of Christmas, I got a really nice box for my mom, which I managed to finish paying for today and bring home. XD I managed to sneak it in past her so she doesn't know I got it, and it's gonna be really cool when she opens it on Christmas. Yay!

5. I only take a shower every other day, because I hate water. I love swimming, but hate showers. ><

It hasn't really hit me yet, because after being up for well over 18 hours yesterday and on the go for most of it, on 3 hours of sleep, I've been in bed all day. XD

But I had a great time. I found the most awesome coat at Hot Topic, and it looks a lot like Bill's from the Spring Nicht video, which I love! I just have to do a bit of altering, because it's way too long. XD

I found some great earrings at Wet Seal, and some cool sweaters at Mervyns. We all went to see Twilight, and Ozzy and I did the silly photo booth at the theater, then later realized there were a bunch of 13 year olds watching from outside on the screen. XDDD But who cares, we had fun!

Then we went bowling! And I was mad to find out, due to the serving of alcahol, I'm not old enough to be let into a casino yet. >> At least not that one. XD Oh well. Someday! SLOT MACHINES!!!

That's pretty much it, we got home at 10 something, had cake and ice cream, and Ozzy and I burrowed into the couch with comforters, a heater, and my new book on the JoBros. XDD

FUN!!! So that was mah BD!

I'm gonna take pictures of the coat, and scan the photobooth pics, and put em up pretty soon, cus they funny. XD

When we came home form the vet, my father asked my mom if she wants to go back to Dallas. While he was searching for something for work, (He works with computers.) he found a site for Corgi breeders, one county away from where my mom's friend April lives.

Obviously, if certain aspects of the legends are true, like being able to fly, and superhuman strength, being immune to illness, and such, quick healing, almost impossible to kill, sure.

But what about everything else? It's a lonely existence. Everyone you know, will eventually grow old and pass on, leaving you alone, always alone. What happens if you love someone, and they die? How could you handle that? Or if you had to watch them grow old? How could you live with it?

And the wars. How could you stand being there on the sidelines, and watching the world destroy itself? It's already bad enough, what little we see of it happening, but, so stand by for hundreds of years, while people never learn to live with each other?

The utopia of futuristic books doesn't exist. It never will. More like, the destruction of everything, like Battlestar Galactica, or the complete overpopulation, and subsequent desolation of the planet, like in Bladerunner.

Why, would you want to live forever to see that? The future can't hold anything so wonderful as has been imagined. It's never been like that, why should it make an exception now?

Thousands of years, we've been on this Earth, and one way or another, we're always trying to destroy each other.

Why should we hope that it will ever be different, when it never will be?

So no, I wouldn't want to live forever. 70-80 years it plenty thanks. ><

I actually really liked it. It was good, and the humor was great. Bella reminded me a lot of me actually. Never fit in at school. XD Wish I'd had a vampire to sweep me off my feet though.

That would have been a nice way to end highschool...Instead I come out of it with not even one date. >>

But I'm getting off topic. I like the imagery that vampires shine in the sunlight. It's a beautiful picture.

1. Read the remaining 917 pages of my American History Text book.

2. Finish the French course I'm on, and start the next one.

3. Go back to throwing away shit in my room, so I have hardly any stuff. Or advertently, ask my mom if there's any room in the shed, and pack it all up and put it in storage. Stuff like say, the dollhouse, and doll beds from when I was 5 and so on.

4. Get in shape, and get toned! I look like a flabble loser! ><

5. Learn to spend less than 15 hours on the computer/TV a day.
