Personality: You are one of the realest people there ever could be. You don't care about what other people think of you, or even what they say about you. You actually feel sorry for them. 10. 9/10 of my artwork are drawn straight in pen. Great for forcing you to fix proportion issues fast. Bad for minor mistakes that you make.

9. Any art not done with pen is something serious that I wanted to draw or the pose is awfully difficult and I didn't want to mess up the pic too badly with pen sketchlines.

8. I suck at choosing colour, period. Hence I hardly ever colour my art.

7. Even when colouring art, I get bored and find it too time consuming even when I know how to shade kinda well.

6. Still have proportion problems but I kinda feel in love with Akira Toriyama's humogo muscles from fanning over Dragonball and Takashima Kazusa's long torso cause yaoi is hot sexy!

5. I draw odd/impossible clothing easier than I do for normal clothing. It must be the folds that I still have trouble with.

It's a flash which is a parody of Final Fantasy 6, where instead of the characters, the replace them with previous game consoles against the new Playstation Portable. Forget the japanese, just press "New Game" on the flash to watch the movie.

Great jokes and insults for all the game consoles and if you "pause" it (right click and uncheck "Play" to pause the flash. Recheck to start again) you get to see games featured in special game console moves. (there's a Triforce move for you Legend of Zelda and N64 fans )

General warning is that the flash is very long, 30 mins worth, and has loading times between the entire thing, but it's worth every minute. Spread the love too.

What I don't agree on is all the artist that slave away for their art that want to place it somewhere and don't know html and art told to agree or get out with a contract that tells them that DA is allowed to use THEIR work whenever they feel like it.

Now, I remember when artists had to learn html to make their own artpages to display art (good old Tripod/Geocities/Angelfire......Spree *shivers*). It was hard to get known back then (around 2000 was when online galleries was starting to get more popular). You can only get popular if you did fanart or joined an art webring and hope you are lucky enough to have people stumble onto your site and like your art and ask to see more.

The old point of art was to get people to enjoy your original ideas, it was like writing a book. You did your best, get it made, and hope to god that someone out there will like it and tell their friends and Voila, you have your viewers.

To be honest, any use of my art is bound to get me a bit more known than I already am, but at the expense of losing characters and ideas that I plan so hard and fine-tune just for some attention?!?!?!

I know one artist I watch is leaving because of the agreement. I'm sitting here wondering if I should do that as well. DA was very good in which it brought people together as a community as well as being very friendly-oriented. But they are literally taking away an artist's copyright control and replacing it with "DA now owns your art, not you."


There was also another "funny" line of agreement: If someone sues DA saying that a certain artist stole their art, then the artist in question has to pay all the legal fees. Sure, that sounds fine for artist protection against art thieves, but what happens if an "art theft" blames the original artist and demands that it's their art? Then what??

I'm very torn. But I love my originality cause I put a lot of thinking and emotions when I make something or draw something. I might have to revert to old habits of sending art links to close friends who want to see it. I dunno.

I might as well post a hell of a lot of sketches I was doing for the span of 5 months ago.

I just didn't know how/when/where/why I should post them since they aren't complete and they aren't really giftart or anything of any relative significance.

I miss you all so much. I'm finally (slightly) free of university overload for work. I can regularly go on those instant messsagers and say HI to you -_- and leave comments.

I feel like an overworked dick though. I should have at least said hello and so.

Oh well, guess I will have to make up for it. Trust me, I'll try.

Book review for anyone interested:
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
For anyone that likes reading satirical novels (satire means a piece of amusing writing intending to make fun of ideals or a person, for those of you that doesn't do literature), Terry Prachett's Discworld is a very funny ass series.

I really recommend it to everyone. The only problem is that you have to know a lot of past history, slang, or just be knowledgable about the world around you to be able to read his stuff.

I would have to say you must be around 16+ years old to read it, just because of the large amount of ideas he makes fun of and anyone younger might not have learned it yet.

One example is his joke on the legend of how Rome was founded. For those that don't know, the legend goes that the two brothers who built Rome were found and raised by a wolf (which was the general ideal of Rome: When danger comes, you fight it head on).

So, the legend of Ankh-Morpork (the big city in the Discworld series) is that the city built by two brothers were found and raised by a HIPPOPOTAMUS. So when danger comes, THEY RUN AWAY)

The second legend is also funny as hell, but you need to read it to see. I first found the joke in "Pyramids" and I have only read about 5 of the 30+ books out there.

I have a long way to go, but I'm sure anyone who enjoys anything satire would love Terry Prachett's Discworld Series.

I already got past the sobbing, suicidal mood *shivers*, I'm just more pissed off that someone who uses people with no remorse can walk around in public.

I. Hate. Fads. Period.

I was finally able to get the full reason why my ex-girlfriend of one year bothered to stay with me for so long and then dump me and date someone else the day after. Why? Because being queer was a big fad and she wanted to try it out. To make matters worse, she was basically guy hunting while calling me a girlfriend so that she wouldn't have a period where she was alone.

Makes me wonder how many other people out there are just like her, selfish pricks that think people are to be used and thrown away after they are no longer useful.

A fad. That's all I was. And I know very well I wasn't the only one to suffer from this. Oh no, there's a big list of REAL queers that were used because "someone wanted to try being queer."

I'm starting to see the fad start again and it's making me sick! Honestly Sick!

From a queer perspective, I'll tell you how it felt to find out that I was queer (separate from actually getting OUT of the closet):
~ resentment for being something that was seen as vile (keep in mind that I was raised in a traditional Chinese home).
~ horror that I couldn't be a normal, straight female.
~ fear that I would be hated by all my friends if they ever found out.
~ pain for liking my friends and knowing that they will hate me if I ever remotely showed a little bit more than friendly care.

I wasn't happy to be queer at first. I wasn't like "Hey everyone! I'm queer and proud of it!" No. I was scared and felt like the lowest of the low. It did killed whatever self-esteem I had (which wasn't much to begin with), and avoided any physical touching, like a simple hug, or conversations of the sort.

Bottom line is that it was like I was killing a part of me that I felt everyone would be disgusted to find out.

Main point:
a) It is not easy finding out you are queer. It also takes a while to process you are queer in this straight majority world.
b) Don't say you are queer just because all your friends and/or your mentors say they are.
c) Queers are people too. We are not "something" to experiment with, nor are we "things" that you use and throw away after you find something "better".

Don't do something because it's a fad. You are disrespecting yourself and the original concept. Question fads and maybe you might find something interesting out if it. Don't be a follower, be a leader so STOP WITH THE FADS!

I can even bet she threw away a lot of my artwork cause I'm missing some and I can't find them throughout the house. She even gives people gifts that my friends bought for me. Even stuff I bought to collect with my own money and she still gives them away. It really pisses me off.

For all those I owe art trades with, I have done or started on the art but I can't scan it cause my scanner is at home. I can give the finished copies to my friend when I get in contact with her and when we can meet up after we both finish work.

This is one of the worst artist block I've hit. I find the energy to start a pic, much less finish it. I can do small small sketches here and there, like head shots and small pics with less detail.

I am willing to do an art trade, mostly I would like to do a maren art trade since I haven't drawn them in a long time.

It won't be a big big, OH MY GOD! SO DETAILED, pic. Just a simple pose of one character with/without colour. Haven't decided.

I think that drawing other people's chars might snap me outta this artist block. I really hope so, since drawing fanart for has made me quite happy and motivated me to actually finish and do a good job about it.

Downloading Malice Mizer/Gackt music. I love visual rock clothing but listening to Malice Mizer with Gackt in the band makes me drool. Even watching a video, he has such emtion when he sings!! AHH! Just amazing to watch him. Very hot too
