Mood: Generally Good!

Back to school and the winter weather doesn't help the mood too much. Since it is dark more often than it is light out, but oh well. I'll try my best to get a little active again, it's been quite the dry spell, but I have two new subjects that are exceptionally photogenic. If you guys don't know what a Tegu is, it's a giant lizard native to Brazil....you can check out my video of the two here:

Mine are just babies but I love them to death. So, the next few weeks will probably be an ode to Remington and Sweet Raptor Jesus.

Mood: Bored

So, it's summer vacation, which means there are more pictures around the bend and hopefully more digital work on it's way too. I've learned so many cool tricks being at my military academy, so photography in the Rocky Mountains should be exciting during the summer. My horse also recently had her baby so there will probably be some concentration in the pasture. Bear with my overall excitement, hehe.

Mood: Frustrated

Most of my work will be digital over the next few months as I am currently at a military academy and my time is dear. I do alot of MySpace layover designs that I will be posting progressively and I will also still be doing my digital photography as things come up. Mood: Calm

After weeks of either arts evasion of me, or me of it I've finally gotten back to my sketchbook. I'm dabbling on computer coloring but it still seems that photography is my greatest artistic gift. I love using the camera, and any camera mind you that I can get ahold of. Slowly but surely I am venturing from the word of black and white to dip my toes into color. I'm working with very little color and would rather stay away from the subject altogether, but there's always a chance to try it out.

Art has totally evaded me over the past week. I can sit down with my sketchbook for an hour and not have anything come to me. Does anybody have a suggestion for artist's block?

Some new photos were taken this weekend and the negatives will be developed next week. Unfortunately, the dark room at school closes at the end of the month, so I have to have all my work done by then.
