Can anyone suggest me a good DSLR camera? Something cheap but decent? Willing to spend up to $1000 AUD on it. I want to make myself a new goal that I can aim & save up for.

I don't know why, but I've just been feeling down with my photography lately.

*sigh* I should feel flattered. I mean people keep asking me to photograph them, & are willing to PAY me for my services even. But I don't know. Maybe I'm just my own biggest critic. I'm not so sure.

I keep thinking, if I had a better camera, I could do a whole lot better.

I still have a big zoom camera, but someday I will be able to afford a DSLR!!

I have two huge projects I want to do for photos. Fairytales; taking photos of people in my own interpretation of the fairytale, as well modeling with the same theme. These are TWO different projects, I assure you. It will be hard, but I think I can do it.

Help me name fairytale stories? Since I'm only an amateur photographer, I'll take the photos that I find will be in my creative power.

I don't have a DSLR, or portable lights, so whatever I'm physically capable of creating, I will.

I can't think of anymore. UGH.

These are not the only projects I will be doing, there are more but I'd like them to be a surprise.

I've also been very slack in writing in my Livejournal. I must apologize, but I don't know. It's not like I've been doing nothing. I guess I haven't felt like being in a writing mood.

I want to do more RED BLACK WHITE photos as well, so expect to see more photos!!

So instead it became two male models & one female model. It worked out good I guess!!

I want to take some photos by the beach sometime... probably not anytime soon as the weather is having PMS down here in Melbourne. But since I've got my "RED BLACK & WHITE" series out of the way. Now there's more room for the other ideas I've wanted to execute.

I've been asked to take photos at a wedding next year too by a friend, but I'm only an amateur photographer. I have a BIG ZOOM camera, not an DSLR. I've never studied photography in my life, & I'm still learning... so I don't think I should.

But it IS next year, so I'll focus on my other photo projects & see how I go.

'Tis going to be in first person this time, & also updated in REAL TIME mode. That's right, so for example if it's Christmas, it's Christmas for our character too. If that makes any sense...

This means I'll be updating it REGULARLY, at least four times a week.

Also if you comment on any of the journal entries, it will be the character responding to you, not me. I will make out of character entries once in a while... but mostly it will be the character!!

OH I FORGOT, I haven't told you what it's about!!

This story is about a girl called, Junelle who is a teleporter. The story is situated in real time in a city called, Espersan. She works as a personal assistant to the editor of "The Daily Herald", Mr. James Cardigan who has absolutely no idea that his assistant is the one & only, "Shuttergirl".

She has been working at The Daily Herald for a year, keeping her powers secret for two years. Everything is fine & dandy, until Mr. Cardigan employs a new staff member, Cael, who will do his share photography & articles for The Daily Herald. This wasn't a problem before, however unlike the other staff members, actually knows what he's doing, & he suspects our hero, Junelle of not being exactly honest about her identity.

But is he really that attentive after all? What will Junelle do if her Shuttergirl identity is found out?

I've also been to recent gigs... seeing Thirsty Merc, Evermore, Powderfinger, & this coming Wednesday I am seeing Aqualung in their solo performance. I will also be seeing the musical, Miss Saigon this month too.

But that's not what I am blogging about. I am blogging because I would like to let you guys know that I am working on my own avatar site.

I've been wanting to have one for years, so now I've finally found a team {actually they found me}, we've all grouped together & we'll do our best to create the next best thing slice bread!!

I'll be admin, in charge of concept, NPCs & storyline. I'm very excited because it will be a challenge to write such things again!!

We have an excellent team of artists, coders, pixelists, & hopefully we will open by September this year. No promises though, as we don't want to rush things.

If you're interested in joining this site, feel free to leave a comment with your email! So when we open, I'll send you a personal email myself to let you know when the site has opened.

I'd also like to say that I'll be turning 23 in less than three weeks time. However I am no longer going to go up to Sydney for my birthday. I will be having a birthday dinner in Melbourne. I kind of regret organising it because although I am a chatterbox, I hate entertaining people. Ah well!!

We were one of the first in the line, & boy oh boy did that line grow really quickly!!

I had a nice chat with a mother who was lining up to get the Wii for her 12 year old daughter. She wanted to give it to her daughter for Christmas! I was really surprised how nice & dedicated that mother was standing around from 10:30pm to midnight just to get the Wii for her daughter, & of course her daughter didn't know her mother was doing this either! She was back home sleeping in bed. I was also surprised how much she knew about games, she knew a bit more than me!

After the clock struck midnight, we collected the Wii really quickly then dashed home. My brother set it up once we got home & started playing Wii Sports: Tennis but I was really tired. So after a few games I went upstairs to bed.

So this morning I played with the Wii again... but gosh, wow I suck! Also something's wrong, there's no sound on the TV, I've gotta check out what's wrong... later.

We bought {in addition to getting games, "Wii Play" & "Wii Sports"} Red Steel & Zelda: Twilight Princess as well to add to our collection! But I really wanted to get Rayman: Raving Rabbids to be honest! Unfortunately it was already sold out...

I guess I'll get it later. I'm not the one who bought the Wii anyway, my brother did!!

I'm very excited because I really like Evermore & End of Fashion heaps! I also *guilty* actually like some of The Veronica's songs. XD I bet they'd be awesome live. {My sister hates them with a passion!}

I'll do my best to take some photos of Sydney... hopefully. But I think I'm only going for like 2 days!!

This was a last minute arrangement as my friend Lex invited me to go with her since she had 10 tickets... {god knows how she got that many, maybe she drinks heaps of coke & took the labels}.

Apologizes to my friends in Sydney, I don't think I can meet up with such little time! But next year I might go to the Supanova 2007 convention. It's a long way from now, so plenty of time to think it over!!

Lately I've been going on www.anionline.net - we're small, but we're a nice tightnit community.

I'm currently in charge of the storyline on there, so it helps me practice my writing, especially since I'm going to do NaNoWrMo next month!

I'm also in charge of the halloween event where the staff & myself have put together around 20+ user event items to be given out?

It's going to be a headache, but I hope I'll do it well. XD Australia doesn't celebrate Halloween at all, so the whole Halloween thing will be souly through the computer... so sad.

Someday I'll fly to the states or Canada, visit my relatives up there & experience Halloween for real!!

I'm bored of Gaia right now, & besides DA, Ani & LJ I don't go anywhere. So your suggestions would be great!

I'm joining the National Novel Writing Month gig. The goal is to write 50,000 words in one month starting from November 1st - November 30th. I hope I can do it.

It will help me jump back into my writing, plus I'll be writing a new story too which has been long overdue. My apologizes to my readers.

Now the question remains... first person or third person? I'm not sure. As for a plot, I have a basic idea in my head. I am going to aim low so I don't stress myself out. At least, that's what I did with Soar*.

On another note, I found a model! Her name is Ioanna. She said I don't have to pay her, or shout her lunch or anything. I just need to give her copies of all the photos!

We plan to have a photoshoot at the beach. All I need are some props, hope for the weather to be good, & we're set!

He did so many great things for nature, & for wildlife reminding all of us in our busy lives to care about the world that we live in, & the animals we share this world with. I honestly wish I met him, like many of us do.

With his passing, the celebration of his life has touched the world. But what I am touched most by was the fact that he was a real hero to the world {he always will be}, & he makes me proud to be an Australian.

I'm sure that the many decades before were shocking for the loss of John F. Kennedy, & Princess Diana, but for me it is Steve Irwin that will be missed.

He will live in on our hearts, that legendary crocodile hunter, Steve Irwin.
