I’m very happy to say that I will be attending Otakuthon this weekend (August 13th-15th) as the Cosplay Guest of Honor. I’ve very excited to meet the cosplayers there! It will be my first time ever in Montreal, from what I hear it is a beautiful city! I am also delighted to be debuting a new secret cosplay costume that I’ve been working on with the help of my friend Adella. It is from a very oldschool anime. In fact my fandom for it is one of the reasons I got into this whole crazy hobby!

I'm so close to having the Fire Dragoon done! I'm getting a little nervous about the necklace, I ordered it a little over a week ago and I only have one more day before we leave for the shoot.

Just in case it does not show up I have a back up plan for the bling-bling. Today I'm finishing up the wings, they are going to be HUGE after I'm done with them. I just hope it is not too windy at the location or else Indra's going to fly away XD

Talking about the location! Indigo is taking us to the Valley of Fire in Nevada! How perfect is this backdrop!!!

Big poofy dress is big and poofy! I'm working on a Cardcaptor Sakura dress for one of my customers today. I have a old love for CCS, my sister and I use to watch it together back in the day. I even made her a Sakura costume years ago!

I've been working on the next Elemental Dragoon Warrior, this time around it is the Fire Dragoon! I've been draping micro swede on my mannequin to figure out what shape I want. The effect I'm shooting for is a flaming skirt that reaches up to cover the breast. I'm not set on what accessories to make for it yet but Im thinking a face veil would look nice (think Arabian Nights)

The beautiful :iconfantasyninja: will be modeling this costume. All the girls I've chosen to model the Dragoons have a fierceness and strength about them while still being stunningly beautiful.

Where to start?! I'm always in the mist of juggling several different costume projects, whether it's working on a custom order for a customer, buying wardrobe for a play, sewing fifty toad stool hats for a web series, or designing costumes for photo projects. Ohhhh it's so nice to rest for a little while. These last two week has been so intense and by far one of the most hectic I've had in a while. Having three different projects overlapping each other makes for no rest and caffeine highs. But its all worth because I'm doing the creative things I love to do!

I don't understand. My "There will be Brawl" CG http://therewillbebrawl.com/images/downloads/wallpaper/Brawl_Group_Wallpaper1024x768.jpg I made was taken down because of copyright Violations. I'm the key make-up artist on the web series (including the studio photoshoots like the one in the CG) and do the costumes/construction.

Was it taken down because its Nintendo's characters? Because if that is the case then all my non original costumes should be taken down.

Matt and I leave for England in a few hours! I'm so excited to visit! It will be the first time for the both of us! OMG CASTLES AND TEA TIME!! I've been working on a new costume for Aya Con. Sometimes I have these daydreams where I'm adorning beautiful maidens in garments that transform them into delicate faeries with gossamer wings. I send them off watching them flutter illuminating the world they dwell in. Lately these dreams are becoming a reality. I find myself in far off lands doing just that. It's amazing how sometimes fantasies can come true.
