Wow. Resident Evil 4 is, like, the coolest game I've been fortunate enough to play in a long, long time. The character are great, the graphics are nice and everything is just so darn wonderful.

From the begining somethin was injected into me and now I just cant stop playing! Though it gets harder, it also becomes much more enthralling as you go on and on.

On a bit of a side note:

I hope I'm not revealing to much, but:

LUIS!!!! O,O No! Why?!! He quickly became one of my favorite characters in the game! It seems like they took him off so quickly!

The timing says I've played for over 24 hrs in total now! Its just so darn great! XD I just can stop! *bows to the creators* I think when I totally finish playing it, I'll play it again!

I honestly don't know if I can say it enough, because what I am about to say is honestly going to hurt a few people.

I take-back my last journal. I couldn't possible imagine how to get the time to actually draw 5 pictures. I can't even doodle, actually.

A religion teacher assigned her class an essay on what makes a good Christian. One student wrote about praying nightly, say no to abortion, banning gay marriage, and donating money. The other student wrote about talking to God and allowing people to enjoy their lives, and supporting gay marriage.
The day the teacher was to hand the papers back, she called up the second student and told him she would pray for him when he went to hell. The student asked why would he be going to hell, and why he got an F on his paper. The teacher told him that Catholicism is against gay marriage.
The student looked at her for a minute, then said aloud, "I'm gay." The teacher kicked him out of class as if he had said fuck or worshipped Satan. A girl in the back of class who had a boyfriend and was obviously straight got up and left too.

School...gosh. My whole life school was the one place that I loved beyond all others..and its hard to say, but I actually hate school now. Amazing isnt it? I started off school thinking that it was a fresh start, and though some things are diffrent, many more are the same. I sit with people in lunch and breakfast which would never in my life-time bring me popularity in any level...but they...I..I'm populaar in there little hyper group. Offline I'm not a hyper person, so its like seeing a huge bunch of anime-extatic and hyper jumpy kids, and me; silent and slightly slow paced when walking. I've chosen walking home, now. Why? 9:16 : Sister goes upstairs, without pencils. then soon goes back to the basement. Passing me so many times but I ignore her.

9:17 She comes up and shows me a soaked red shirt, telling me my parents were asleep. I raise an eye-brow, knowing they normally fall asleep aroun 1 in the morn.

9:18 I decide to ask her, as she walks back to the basement, if she would like some help since I know the basement must be flooded. She says "I guess" but I know she really needs me.

9:20 (yes, two mins to get off the compy) I write out "basement flood checked at 9:15 on a small chockboard and place it in the kitchen for my parents to see.

9:22 Proceed to pick up soaked clothing and shoes kept in the basement to higher ground, soak up some water, mop up some, and leave a small bit.

9:24 *yawn* I search the kitchen and pick up lost chalk from 2 mins ago and slide back onto the computer. Sister laughs telling me I spelled basement wrong.

Why should I be so used to my basment flooding? O_o?

Okay, folks. Here's the deal.

By now, you've heard that Scott Jarkoff, aka °jark, is now a FORMER Staff Member.

I'm not privy to the whys, wherefores, and whatever-the-hells are going on behind the scenes here. Don't ask me anything about that. I know probably just as much as you do.

DeviantArt, in my opinion, is becoming less about COMMUNITY and more about CORPORATION.

So what we need to do is bring back THE COMMUNITY.

Here's my suggestion.

On August 7th, DA turns five years old. Five years for a website like this should be a grand affair, one big event.

So don't submit anything on August 7th.

I'm talking a print, a deviation, a scrap...nothing.

Instead, just leave a comment. Visit a user's page and just say hi.

If someone wants to buy a subscription that day, I'm all in favor or it. It'll keep the servers going, and anything that keeps the hamster running is a good thing.

BUT...I think folks shouldn't buy any prints. No print subscriptions. That goes against the COMMUNITY theme for the day.

We want to put the COMMUNITY back into DA.

If you're in favor of this, if you believe in the power this COMMUNITY has, then join me. Post this in your own journal. Spread the word to everyone, with a and a .

We might be touting at windmills like Don Quixote.

But if enough of us do it, we might be able to remind everyone that this is a COMMUNITY first and foremost.

Onto the dream:

My brother and I were walking through a large parking lot in the back of an even larger school. (It wasn’t show why I was there or how.)

On second he was happy. The very normal, loving, funny brother I knew and loved more then anything else. Then another moment...no another second went by and he was holding a very very dark black gun in his hand...and a horrible look on his face. The look was something I had never seen before....like a mix of insanity and pure sadness. And when I saw his face and the gun he tightly gripped in his hand a pain, an emotional pain, shot through my spin and into my heart.

"That’s it~!!" He said in a weird voice I had also never heard before and waved the gun around a little bit. That voice was just as horrible as the look which had not left him yet.

Now this is the part of the dream that’s stayed in the back of my mind and heart for a reason unknown to me: Every thing but me the back top the gun and my brother was gone for the moment. I put my hands on the gun he was holding and on his hand which held the gun. The way I held him and it a bullet could have quickly shot through my hands.... But I knew, simply because he was who he was, that he wasn’t going to shoot me if his life depended on it. (He couldn’t shoot me....I know that.) I could see the deep dark black gun in detail. It almost felt like I was sick after seeing it.

I looked back up to him after the very short moment of looking at the weapon...his eyes were like a small beaten child's. "You're not going to shoot me,” I said, amazingly not scared. When I think about it now I can’t think of why I wasn’t scared (even if he is my brother.) “And I know you aren’t going to shoot yourself.” It wasn’t like I just said that sentence…I was telling him, like demanding him.

Faster then my non-dream mind can comprehend I was running and dragging him with me. Through the big parking lot. And I could not see my brother I just knew he was behind me, I felt it. And now came the tears. The tears flowed like rivers, they didn’t seem to end. And they hurt as they fell, they stopped my heart with each falling tear at a time.

Now I was in the school. And looking down what seemed like an endless hallway that was dark except for dim lights from every other door and the two large windows at the far end. Two people stood in silhouette at those far windows. “Help please!! Some body help me!!!” I yelled but very very quickly knew they wouldn’t help in anyway. ( after the dream I realized the silhouettes were my parents. And I remembered focusing on my mother in the dream for a second.)

Now I was in a small office with a black man in glasses who I thought to be the principal. But I didn’t think it for long. “Please help!! He’s trying to kill himself!! Please please please~!!” I don’t know why but then I put down a very small version of the gun my brother had on the mans desk. The man looked calmly to the side of me. I assumed, for a moment, that he was looking at my brother….but when I looked to my side, tearful I saw that my brother wasn’t there and at that second the scenery changed to the big black parking lot again.

My brother held the gun to his head. It was like I had imagined me taking his hand and the gun and running for help. It was a horrible feeling knowing I hadn’t moved a muscle when I saw my brother with the gun.

The with the gun to his head and the trigger jiggling in his twitchy finger he yelled (what I remember) “____Lily! Because _____ no ___!” And then I woke up. At 1 a.m and walked to his room to reassure me he was really alive…I don’t know what this dream means…but if anyone at all can help me to finger it out please tell me…no opinions will be considered wrong…if you want anymore info Note me. Please…I can’t look at my brother the same anymore….

On another note I had a pretty good weekend. I went to go see my grandma. It wasn’t too fun but I liked being in a different city and hearing all sorts of different languages.

I love its beautiful-ness. It begun as such light drops gently falling onto the freshly growing grass and carpeting the fields as the moon shone it light and they all sparkled. Now the rain is hard. You can hear it beating against the roof as if it wants nothing more then to touch me. It is slamming hard to the ground, bending the grass and flooding the streets as cars make the air thick with mist, smoke and carbon monoxide.

The lights try to burst their rays of light through the fog but it is to thick and so, I believe, the lights have given up.
Lights..

The stars, those few stars I can see in this city, are hidden behind the thick dark clouds and the moon hides along with them.

My father and sister have left. Gone to check the lights. Gone to see if they all work and shine bright through the rain.

My sister is so happy. She has learned to draw what she thought she never could and I am proud of her. She is talented and one day ,I pray, she will know it and show others her talent.

So many things to thing about....so many things to do.

I was happy. happy because my father bought a scanner/faxer/printer/copier for his birthday. I thought I could use the scanner to show how much better I am at using a pencil and paper then I am at using a mouse. But the scanner doesn’t work. My dad is bringing it back to the store. He may get another...maybe more people can appreciate my art when I get this new scanner.

Spring Break stars on Friday for me...but who cares, really? On spring break I don’t leave my home. I don’t "hang out". I don’t call and chat to friends. I watch T.V and eat and draw. Boring to many, interesting to me....

Hmm...its odd to me that people, nearly all people, can think something and not have the will to say it aloud.
For example today my Internet stopped working and I couldn’t believe it. I was devastated and already believing the worst things. My dad said" Lear to live with out it. There are other things besides the internet." Ok sure, there ARE other things but I still said. "No~~ come on!" And begged him to fix it. That is what I said. And yet I thought "No! there isn’t! All I have is the Internet because I am caged in this home! It’s all I have! Fix it! Fix it!" And tears even came to my eyes. Why couldn’t I say thins aloud?

Is it because you are born with the undying fear and love for your parents? Did the undying feat and love tell me that if I were to say it aloud my dad may feel hurt or angry? Or was it that I also knew if I were to say it he would scoff and say "Stop whining. Yeah right, don’t act like you don’t go nowhere."
I wonder..hmm...I wonder so much.

My art on the computer is lacking as of lately...I don’t understand what is wrong. I think I just need inspiration.
But I know, and I wonder, that when I get inspiration I will copy directly from another's picture or writing. I need to learn to be independent in my art..

Independent....that reminds me. My older brother, my best friend, part of my support, the most loving person to me is going off to the Navy in...some amount of months that I don’t wish to count.
Count...count count....
I will count the day until I am 17 and can go back to [link]. I have a life there. But I had a nightmare. And wont go back for a very long time...

A song I made up. ^^ It sounds great with the music behind it. Its about a boy who lost his sister and thinks the world is over. He only sees the bad things around him: his familys divorce, his grades lowering. And so he cant see the light thats begining to shine and the great happiness that comes after all the pain. Yup. Its the theme song to a manga I'm drawing, and its about how I feel now. So I feel it makes a suitible journal..

I've gone through deaths and stuff. Its so wierd knowing that even though I went through all that..my family has no idea how I felt. ^__^ Thats pretty strange in my eyes..y'know that the ones who love you the most cant see when you are your sadest. I'm happy I have good friends around me.

^__^;;; Oh yes time to explain the pictures I've been doing about death. I'm sorry if it hurts any one or anything but I drew it to let my feelings out when I felt my sadest. And the thought of death and dieing and stuff makes me happen to draw wierd/sad pics! Forgive me!

Any ways my brothers leaving soon...which makes me even sadder but I know he's going to go on and do all the right things!! Yay! Woot to my mature brother!!
