Holy crap, I feels old. :meow:

I had the BEST birthday yesterday! I am so blessed with so many great people in my life, and yesterday reminded me of just how much I'm loved.

To start off, my mom and brother decided to help me out by buying most of the stuff I still needed for an upcoming con (read more about that below). Fabrics, makeup, and a wig. So I ordered everything over the weekend.

Ok, now first off, lemme explain to you the situation behind this. =Teruchan is a very popular artist on dA, makes lots of money and dA lots of money selling prints.

The problem? He is a pedophile. Just look at most of his work; underage girls in panties, getting molested by Teruchan himself disguised as a "cute, innocent bunny". Also, he has been banned atleast 5 times, and been unbanned afterwards. I was under the impression that once you got banned, you were f*cked. But no, he always comes back. And, on top of it, he has a legion of fantards that come to his defense when people come to his page to express their opinions about his "art".

Ok, so please forgive my excessive ranting on my previous journal, I was very upset at the time. Everything is much better now. Mike didn't have strep, Mike and I have a commissions atm, and plushie is coming along nicely. More money issues. -__-; I swear, we are cursed at this point. Bad news, Mike might have strep throat AGAIN, he had it back in May when we went to CA.

Anywhoo, the bad news is that he's only making roughly $125 a week, he can't get a second job because school starts in a few weeks, and he needs $350 for books. Plus, ontop of that, him and I still owe his parents money for getting us back home to WI, which originally we only had to pay $50 a week, plus $88 a month for the car insurance. Mike went to get a job at FedEx a few weeks ago, his dad works there as well, and after hearing about what a great job it was, I decided to apply as well. I just found out my sweet little baby kitty, Milo, has just passed away from a stroke. :cries: She was about 15yrs old, and she lived a great life with lots of kittens, retired to my grandparents home, and now, she's running through green fields and playing with all the catnip toys and yarn balls in heaven. I wish I could have held her one last time, she was practically my child ever since I first got her. My grandma even said that Milo tried to push through it, but she just couldn't go on. :(

Ok, there is something I need to rant about due to a comment I recieved tonite.:angered:My friend Mike :icondarklordiiid: and I have been working on those Midna and Zelda dressup pics recently (go check them out in his gallery), he renders, I give suggestions, blah blah blah, and I personally don't see nothing wrong with them. They are NOT having sex, they are not dressed in any of that f*cking fetish shit, and Zelda is NOT UNDERAGE!!! I repeat, SHE'S FECKING 20 IN TP!!!!!!! :rage: It even says that in EVERY TP info thing you read!

Now, my reason for ranting is because DA is overrun with ALL KINDS of nasty things I'd rather not see, and I personally don't consider art. Don't get me wrong, I like certain types of TASTEFULLY done nudes and such, but I'm sick and tired of all the other nasty things that should just stay secrets in the bedroom. Also, I don't know about the rest of you, but there are THOUSANDS of nude Zelda pics, most of them depicting her kissing another girl character, stripteasing, and even as a f*cking DOMINATRIX. And yet, some ASSHOLE has the COJONES to comment on one of those dressup pics Mike and I did, saying, "You are shaming the Zelda fanbase with these horrible pics." :| W...T...F... I ask. So, I just ask that you consider BEFORE you comment on any tasteful nude Zelda pic, that there are thousands more out there with her doing much much worse. Ok, so if you want to do a nice thing for a fellow deviant, please go and give some NICE comments on Mike's wonderful work. :thanks: But if you see something you don't like, you have a nice little thing called the "BACK BUTTON" on your browser. :slow:

I just wanna start by saying that I'm REALLY sorry for my recent absense and neglect to my DA page. I'm having alot of health problems right now, and I'm supposed to get a bloodtest done sometime in the next few weeks to find out what's wrong with me. Well, I'm back from my housesitting adventure!! It was sooo nice to be alone in a big beautiful, CLEAN house!!! Not much to tell 'cept I got to hangout with my friend June :iconpassionate-facade03:, oh, and I got to see my BABIES!! (my three cats, lol)

Oh, and I quit my job at Wrongway(Subway). It was just getting too ridiculous; I've asked them for four months for more hours, and then they decide to schedule me five nights a WEEK!! Which means I'd be cleaning a store mostly by myself, and doing a crapload of prep work, plus dishes and helping customers and so forth. And it was going to interfere with my Tues. night Bible study.

But now I'm going to start using my sewing as a main source of income at the moment. 7. I used to roleplay Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time with all the neighborhood kids when it first came out. I was the "blacksmith"; I made all the swords, shields, and various other weapons. And we would play even when it was pitch black out. That was the most fun.

I wish I could attend Anime Expo, but I didn't know that it was this weekend. *sigh* But now I'm more determined than ever to get it done SOONER!!!! :shakefist::shakefist::shakefist: Then I can start cosplaying, and start having more fun. Also now I have motivation to get my license:w00t:(no, I don't have it yet, and yes I know that I'm weird). I found a lot of fabrics tonight and some will save me some mulah. Thief Rikku-FINAL FANTASY X-2=I love this outfit because it's sporty and sexy, and the hair style is to die for. lol

Goddesses of the Triforce-Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time=I've never seen these done in their solid gold form before.

Tifa Lockhart-FINAL FANTASY Advent Children=I love the almost gothic tomboyish look.

Princess Lily and Dark Lily-LEGEND=I freakin love these outfits 'cause they were way ahead of their time costume wise.

Necromonger Kyra-Chronicles of Riddick=I really like the cloak for this costume 'cause it's one very unique concept
