So, the last few months have been crazy. I am back at uni and into second semester already. I have been living in Gladstone for almost four months now, and am loving it here. I am finally starting to make friends and settle into my own groove. Josh and I are enjoying living together and actually, I kind of love having him all to myself and it being just us at home some nights. Things are starting to become so much less complicated.

At the moment, I am writing assessments, working and applying for jobs. I already have three part time jobs (Partylite, ACN and being a mystery shopper) but I would like something more permanent and possibly in the Marine Science/Environmental Science field. I am almost finished my degree... I am getting a little worried about what will happen next year. I want so much to do my honours, and then my PhD, but am I ready for it??

I am missing my friends from home, they are so far away and I can't wait to see my girls when I get back to Wollongong/Sydney. It's crazy, but I honestly miss Richmond and Penrith. I miss the 2 hour drive from my parents place to Windsor every weekend. There's so many little things that aren't the same, and it's sad to think they're not going to happen again for a long time.

Well, it's 2:20am and I have alot to get through in the next few hours before I get a couple of hours sleep, then go to pick up my cousin's girlfriend, back for another hour or two sleep, more assessment writing/uni work and then a one and a half hour drive to a job interview in Rockhampton.

My Christmas/New Year was kind of whitewashed with a disastr of a camping trip. Josh and I went away camping with some "friends" and before we even left it was doomed. Firstly, one of these "friends" insulted my mother and was incredibly rude to both of my parents, who were kind enough to allow them to stay the night so they didn't have to travel so far. My parents were so offended that they just packed a bag and went to Sydney for the night, so they wouldn't have to be insulted in their own home. Then when we arrive at the camp site, this same person stated that she had invited her whole family camping, after making a scene when I asked if it were ok if I invited a friend.

To make matters worse, this same person began insulting me by stating that she and her husband had only been invtied to stay at my parents house to "rub her face in the fact that my parents have a nice house with a pool and a few nicer things". Mind you, my parents have worked hard for eveything they have and have received some of their "nicer" things as gifts frm my sister and I.

In the end, I couldn't handle her anymore and packed everything up and came home. Then when we got home, because I put a status on facebook stating that we were home early due to such a bad camping trip, she made comments stating that I had lied about everything and made things up to make her look bad. One thing I don't do is lie.

After all this, I just feel like shit all the time. I honestly feel like I am always doing things wrong and upsetting everyone around me and I don't know what else to do.

I do apologise for having spilt all this, I just needed to get it all out. I am cnstantly having this person state things about me and I just can't handle it anymore. I needed a space of my own to vent without repicussions.

So, firstly, I would like to wish everyone a happy festive season whatever it is you may be celebrating. And, I hope you are all safe and well.

Secondly, I have started drawing again, as you can probably see from my latest submission. I have been practicing my marine animals in hopes to create something worthwhile in the coming months. I know it's been forever since I last updated anything, so I am hoping that going back to being a student will help with te creativity/inspiration.

So, I guess that's it for the time being, I don't really have much to write at the moment.
I promise to write a little more when I have some more time.

P.S. Seeing as I have almost finished reading every book I have ever owned, could someone please :begs: suggest something for me to read. I am getting desperate.

Things have been a little crazy in the life of me lately, I am now working two jobs, one fulltime and one parttime, as well as considering going back to university.

But, in better news, I have added some new deviations for your perusal. Yes, as always, some are photos, but I have added a drawing and have just completed a second drawing which I have to either scan off or photograph to put up here. I am also working on a new drawing, however, I am not quite sure whether or not I like it enough to put up here.

Well, that was my rather quick little "yes, I am still alive" journal. I promise that the next one will be a little more enthrawling. :S Or atleast, I hope it will be.

About three weeks ago, I started volunteering at Symbio Wildlife Gardends [link] in Helensburgh. Symbio is a smallish zoo, which houses many native Australian animals, domesticated farm animals and some non-indigenous species such as Red Pandas, Meerkats, Tamarins, Marmasetts and Spider Monkeys. Over the next few weeks I will be putting up photos that I have taken of the animals that I have dealings with while undertaking this volunteer work experience.

Of recent, alot of not so pleasant memories have been resurfacing, many of which are steming from the ever present media attention surrounding the court case relating to the death of some guys I used to work with. I know that the death of these four guys was unjust and completely unwarranted, but why does the media find pleasure in disturbing the memories of already grieving friends and families who are just coming to terms with the loss of such great guys?? I just wish the person involved luck and I hope he knows that no one really blames him, they just miss their loved ones.

As of today, August 27th, I have a job. Yes, that is right, I am working... well, I don't officially start until the 11th of September, but I will be a Green Corps team leader. Yes, a job in my field, how great is that?? Green Corps is a government funded initiative that helps provide essential skills (Environmentally based) for people aged 17 - 21. So, as of September 12, I will be heading to Sydney for three days training. YAY!! I HAVE A JOB

I will be adding more to this update at a later stage, bt for now I must be off to get ready to head out shopping with a friend.

Firstly, I want to thank everyone for their support after Mike's death, it really means alot to me that so many of you care enoug to lend a shoulder to cry on. I am getting on with my life, having come to terms with why he needed to take the path he chose. I will forever miss his smile, his stupid little laughs and the way he didn't judge me, but was always there for a hug and a laugh.

Boys at the moment are driving me crazy, I had a fling with one which lasted a little longer tha a usual fling. He has since been shipped off to Army boot camp, but we have maintained a friendship which is nice. A second one, who I used to work with, kind of fell into my life again after I messaged him while very drunk about three weeks ago and finally got up the courage to send him a text message apologising for my drunken stupidity. He and I have since been swapping about forty or more messages a night. He makes me smile and laugh, which to me is a great thing. I haven't smiled so much since Dave. Dave is a whole other story, I'm not really ready to go into right now.

Today, I got a piercing, yes you read that correctly. I have had my navel pierced today. It is something I hav been thinking of for quite some time, but never though of really getting it done. So, with this new happy and spontaneous outlook on life, I got my navel pierced. I did not do it to fit in or whatever, I have wanted my navel pierced long before the popularity of it. So, I finally did it and I feel fucking fantastic. When you get pierced, or atleast when I get pierced, an adrenaline surges through your body and you feel great. I will soon be getting another tattoo and possibly another piercing. I just am wondering what my mum's going to say.

Last night should have been one such night, however, after drinking more than his fair share of alcohol and havin a fight with the love of his life he was unable to call as he felt that it would e an intrusion into a night I had planed wth someone else. He left me a note, a beautiful note, telling me that he loves me and that no matter what I am to keep living because he will forever be watching over me.

I know why he left this world, as I too have felt the need to free myself from this pain, but selfishly I want him to be here with me... I know that he needed to do this, and I really don't want to be selfish about this, but he did not deserve the life he was dealt. He was a good man, who took care of everyone. He was strong willed, funny, intelligent and most of all generous. He would give the shirt off his back to a homeless person in the middle of winter for that person to be warm.

I know that this is probably something many of you did/do not want to read, but I don't know where else to write it. I needed to put my thoughts and feelings down in/on something and I also wanted to show someone, anyone, just how great Mike really was. I want him to be remembered, but I don't have a photo of him. He hated them, even more than I do. Whenever I took a photo of him, he'd sneak my camera away and delete them from the memory stick. I alway hated that he did that, now I am so angry that I couldn't just keep one of them.

Firstly, my greatly wisdomified doctor has decided that after about 10 years of managing my migranes without the use of any serious medications, I am now going to be taking 5 tablets a day to rectify those brain mushifying migranes that have been my constant companion over the last few weeks. This also is inclusive in my whole "get well and get fit" little campaigne, in which I shall be changing my diet as to loose a good 10kg, increase my drastically low iron levels and level out my ever falling blood pressure. So, here's to my health kick and hopefully this time next month I will have maybe lst a kilo or two, whilst feeling more energised and healthier.

Secondly, my 21st party went off on March 31st without a hitch. All the drinking of alcoholic goodies and the eating of scrumptious party food in combination with the company of my family and friends ensued for a good night had by all. Other than these two major events, I have been most fortunate to visit the Sydney Aquarium with a close friend from Lismore, who I miss dearly. It started as a very early and train-delayed morning, but in the end it was all worth it just to see Nikki and Aleah. I have also posted some photos from the day in my gallery.

I have also been approached to design some tattoos for friends and family and have been asked to do some commissions for others. So, if anyone is interested please just note me with any questions or requests. I am willing to try anything.

Here, in Australia, the 21st is celebrated by a rather large gathering of friends and family, though we are not really celebrating anything. Here, we vote at 18, we can drink at 18 and therefore, there is no real reason to be celebrating the 21st year of my life.

I don't know what I really think or feel about my birthday anymore, I was so excited to be having this big party to celebrate my life, but it's turning out to be more of an obligation than something to be looking forward to.

Well, I think that's all of the whinging i will be doing for now.

First order of business tonight is the up coming ~sydney-devmeet, which will be held on February 10th, starting at 11am, at the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre (Across from Newtown Station). For anyone in Wollongong interested in going please let me know as I will be catching a train up there and wouldn't mind some company for the long trip.

Secondly, it seems that the very first ~Devmeethegong will be held in April (Easter Monday, at Lang Park in Wollongong.) For anyone interested in joining me and other local deviants on the day please let me know as I am hoping that this will be a rather big gathering, i.e. the more the merrier.

In conclusion, there are two great Dev-meets coming up that I would love to see as many people as possible attending.

Secondly, I think I have ruined my relationship with Dave forever. I allowed the insecurities that were left by an ex to get the better of me and I screwed up. Yes, I fucked it all up when it was starting to go so well. Now, I feel that Dave and I will not even be friends any longer.

And alas, I have decided that it is time to take some time for myself, and so I shall not be around much for awhile. I need to think about everything, and maybe apply some of these hurtful emotions to my art or something else productive.

I feel like this person knows everything about me, what time I go to bed, where I am going to be at certain times of the day, what I am likely to be doing, he won't leave me alone though I have used every legal means I know of.

Because of this person's insatiable need to be in my life, I have feelings of suicide - the feelings that my life is worthless. I want to cut myself again, justto inflict the pain upon myself before he can. I just want him to leave me and those I care about alone.

EDIT: So, with some awesome advice from ~mycheshirecat and all the support I could ever want from everyone here and Dave, yes even he is supporting me with this, I went to the police today. The person described above is going to be out of my life forever and now I can move on, making my life better and happier.

Because of this person, I have pushed the one person I want to be with forthe rest of my life away and now I have to face the consequences of my actions, though they were not deliberate. I can not have Dave as boyfriend, or anything else of that nature, anymore due to all of this. I have tortured him enough, and now I have to prove to myself and to him that I am able to just be his friend, thoguh this will be the most excrutiating thing I will ever have to endure.

Thank you to everyone who has given me their support. It means the world to me that so many care.

SECOND EDIT: Though all the above mention has happened, I still feel that my life is being controlled. I know that no matter what happens, I won't be truly happy because of all this, but I am making a start. I am trying to be there for all of my friends, I am trying to be the happy and bubbly person I used to be, and really still am. I want to make everyone around me feel happy again, but I still am crying my eyes out everytime I am alone, or I'm not being watched. I miss too much of my old self. I want it all back!!

1. You hurt me, you beat me and left me broken, but now I am finally able to start getting past what you've done. I will be stronger and more wise fro now on. I will find a way to put you in the past and though I will never forget what happened, I will not allow it to hurt me anymore.

2. I will love you, no matter what happens. I will be here for you, no matter what you do. Hopefully one day we can get past what happened.

3. You and I have been so much, we have laughed, cried, lived and will possibly die as friends. We are like chalk and cheese, we even each other out and will always be there for each other. I love you.

4. You've seen me laugh, cry, go crazy, make an idiot of myself and still you love me for me. You have never once hurt me, though you've seen me hurting. You've been there for me, made me laugh, make me feel more confident and loved. You have been there for everything ove rthe last three years. You have been my saviour and I know I can never repay you, but thank you.

5. You've sat me down, told me straight, you told me I can do what I want to do as long as I put my mind to it. You've motivated me beyond anything anyone else has ever done. You are my mentor, my motivator and my ass kicker when needed. I couldn't have achieved what i have without you.

6. No matter how she treats you, you will always love her. She is your first, your greatest love. Now she's moved on and that's ok too. You will move on when ready. You justneed to take care of yourself.

7. I'm sorry I can't be this perfect little princess that you want, all wrapped up in cotton wool and bubble wrap. I am me, all the letdowns, edges and sharp witted comments. I can't be perfect, that's not in my make up, it's not who I am, no matter how hard I try for you. You'll one day realise that the me, the one I love being - that crazy, bubbly, dark, edgy, unpolished person that I am - is who I really am, and that it is someone you can accept and love without me having to change.

8. I can't trust you, I can't believe I let you into my life like I did. Two days of stupidity and you know so much more about me than anyone else. I can't let you in anymore, I thought you were different, I thought you were sweet, but you turned out to be another creep.

9. I don't mean to hurt you, I don't want for you to hurt, I just couldn't resist the feelings I had. I couldn't change how I felt, how I still feel. I know it hurts, but I can't be any different. I can't help who I love.

10. You're crazy, loveable and you aren't scared to be you. Without you I would be alone, I wouldn't have anyone to go crazy with and I wouldn't be accepted in my own family. You are my crazy one and you'll always have me to lean on.

11. It's better love love and lose then to never have loved at all. I will love you unconditionally forever, though you have hurt me, and I have hurt you. We were once happy together, and I know I that we could work things out, but that first we must deal with our own issues. I will be here for you whenever you need me. I love you.

Wow, that is a whole lot off my chest. It feels good to have that all out in the open.

I need something new to do with my time at the moment, so why not try to get some of the more local people together for a meeting of minds in Wollongong??

I think I am going to try and organise the very first one for the Australia Day long weekend at St. George's Basin during the long weekend festivities, so any expressions of interest would be much appreciated.

My love life is currently in a very confused state, as is my (not so) private life. I am currently trying to avoid an abusive ex who just doesn't understand that it is not appropriate for him to be anywhere near me anymore, let alone trying to get me back. I am not sleeping, due to nightmares resultant of having that ex's presence in my life again, in culmination with the extremely fucked up middle of the night phone calls from people in Lismore trying to get me upset. I wish people would just grow up. It's alot less effort than trying to make yourself look "cool" by acting like a 15 year old kid.

Where my art is concerned, I have put an update of the 100 piece challenge list below. I really don't know why I am even bothering to create art anymore, it just seems like a waste of time, and has done for awhile. I finially start creating things I like only to really hate those that I have previously done. I want to be able to draw alot better, I want to be able to paint alot better, I want to be able to take a decent photograph. But, it seems everytime I try I fuck that up to. . I am hoping that maybe over this weekend or next weekend I might be able to get some time to go and view Sculpture by the Sea held between Bondi and Taramara. It's a selection of sculptures which have will be exhibited around the area for two and a half weeks.

I really don't know what else to say... seems like no matter what I say, it will be turned into some soap opera-worthy drama and I am so over drama... drama drama drama, I am so fucking sick of drama.

The 100 pic Challenge [link] has proven a little harder than I thought. I have created three pieces so far, but I think I might replace atleast one [link] of them, if not a second [link] . I just don't think I am completely satisfied with the above mentioned pieces. Hopefully, I will have a few more to post when I get back from Heron Island.

Heron Island [link] is coming up alot sooner than I thought it would. I leave for Brisbane on Monday, then fly to Rockhampton [link] on Tuesday morning where Tara (one of my uni friends) and I shall catch a train to Gladstone before catching the catamaran to Heron Island on Wednesday. But, with that all said I really can't wait to get to the Island. As part of the stay, we get to go snorkelling and explore the reef around the Island in great detail. I am so excited about going... I should be gone about ten days in total, so if I'm not here for awhile it's ok... I'm just off sunbaking and snorkelling for uni Ahh... life as a uni student.

In other news, I'm currently in the middle of a very boring assessment about oil spills, I don't know why I am finding this so boring because I am so interested in the topic, but I think it's because I am a little preoccupied with thoughts of someone else and Heron...

I have also found some exciting new artists... I have been studyng, really I have, but I found these interesting people and I think you should check them out



I would also like you to check out some artists I've been watching for awhile



I am going to start featuring one deviant or deviation in each journal so please keep an eye out.

I have black hair, black nail polish on, black eyeliner, mascara and lipstick, so fucking what. I am also wearing black clothes, woopedy fucking do. I am comfortable with how I look, and actually enjoy the fact that I am for once comfortable and don't have to live up to the standards of everyone else who looks and dresses the same as I do.

For that matter, why should anyone be able to judge anyone else for how they look. Inside, we are all just cells and frankly, can you tell one cell from another??

Emo, is basically defined as someone who is highly sensitive to emotional stimulation and somewhat lacking in swelf-confidence, so therefore I guess everyone between the ages of 12 and 21 are emo.

Why categorise everything and everyone, there are so many differences between each and everyone of us that we are each special and wonderful in our own right.
