Well...I'm still in shock to be honest....I've seen many.. MANY horse fights (and no, I don't mean like the forced fighting in china, I mean like when you see too stallions in the wild fighting over a mare, or when you first put new horses together) but never have I EVER seen something so violent and I've been working with horses since I was born and I work with aggressive/abused horses, so I've seen my share of violence. This is just one of those unbelievable things that even if you've been doing something for 20 years you still get knocked on your ass because it surprises you so much.

Well today I was working with a 17.2 huge dutch warm blood stallion, who had extreme aggressive problems. Everything was working just fine, we were making progress. Then comes along a little 6 year old girl for lessons, of course I had NO idea that they were coming, because people are dumbasses who think that they can just pop in for a lesson when ever the hell they feel like it without even calling (which is NOT how I work, you have to make a appointment for lessons, I do not accept walk ins) and so this little dumbass girl climbs under the panels screaming "HORSEY!!!!!!!!!" Of course the mother does nothing. So this huge stallion goes charging after this little girl for blood (We were working in a large round pen so I didn't have him hooked up to a lung line) So I grab this little girl and throw her out of the pin, of course by doing so I put myself in the line of fire. I was knocked unconscious, when I regain consciousness which was only like after a minute I wake up to see my little 14 hand Hannah violently attacking this stallion, so Hannah had broken through the wooden fence that she was being turned out in and jumped over the 6 ft panels (like I said shes only 14 hands)and attacked the stallion. Not only were they fighting, she was clearly wining, she had his windpipe in her mouth while her front legs were beating him. In the end it took like 8 people including myself to get Hannah off this stallion, and the stallion had to have reconstructive surgery on this neck to fix this trachea and several vital veins in this neck repaired, along with a few stitches to close up some gashes on his chest and back. I know this isn't the first time Hannah has protected me, I've just seen nothing like this.

I know someone is going to ask this, the stallion, (or Corey, his barn name) had hit the back of my head with his front left hoof, I had a MRI and a X-ray, I don't have any major injuries, just a headache from hell.
