a little more than a year ago, i was in cali for my aunt's wedding.

well, now i'm back again, and it got me thinking about last time i was here.

i wrote a journal explaining my huge burst of inspiration and about all these things i was gonna do. well, i fail.

i barely did any. i've very slowly updated my akuroku, but it's been an entire year since i've updated my joker/harley story.
also, i havent uploaded any pictures that i had talked about.

and i STILL have yet to update my animazement pics.

*sigh* i promise you all that i will update soon. i just have a million things going on. mainly money problems, which means i'm stressing about paying things off, which means i'm stressing even more about being able to pay for cosplays and such. X_x

i hate life sometimes. i just wish i had more time to write.

but on a lighter note, i'm starting to rp again! XP

I have work tonight, so I'll only be able to play 30 minutes during my break, and I have to write a paper tomorrow , and then I'll be driving to go to 's house on Friday, and spending all weekend with her, driving back Sunday, just to finish up my paper on Sunday....

I don't see much playing in my future...

It sucks.

But onto a lighter note...
The reason I'm really glad they made this game.
Well, reasons.

Reason #1: I can delve more deeply into Axel and Roxas' relationship together. Some for cosplay purposes, others for fanfic purposes. (and it just strengthens my love of AkuRoku)

Reason #2: I can observe more of Axel's personality. Cuz so far, I have two different views of his personality. KH:CoM, He's a conniving(but sexy) douchebag, but shows what a kind smartass he is by helping Sora at the end. Then, in KH2, he's like, kind and caring and concerned...it's sweet...he's still a douchebag, but that's what I love bout him. ^w^
cuz i am too. LOL! the lil booklet that came with the game described him as such. "Although a member of Organization XIII, he's more frequently a member of Organization Himself." OMG, so hard. Cuz it's true.

And, Reason #3: I really want to see more of the reactions and relationships between all the other members more.

Oh, and playing as Axel is probably the top reason.

Btw, I will definitely be bringing this to the cons, so anyone else that has it...beware.

Who's goin to Ichibancon? All those who went to Animazement should've seen all the flyers for it, so you have no excuse not to know bout it.
For those who weren't, lemme tell ya bout it.
Ichibancon is new, and it's going to be the first con of the year in NC.
It's at the Great Wolf Lodge(awesome place) in Concord, NC. (close to Charlotte)
The dates are January 8-10.
And get this: Pre-reg is only $25 for the whole weekend.($20 for two day, $15 for one day) Sweet, huh? And even if you don't get it until the con, it's still only $35 for the whole weekend. 8D and of course I've already pre-registered.

I'm staying with . She lives 20-30 minutes away from the con, so free stay for me.

I just need to either fix up my wig a lil more, or send it to . She's awesome. Y'all should remember her as Zack from Animazement. She did hers and Cloud's wigs. So yeah, spikes seem to be her specialty.
Also, I need to finish my second chakram. It was such a toll on me for the first one that I was just...emotionally and psychologically drained. If ya have no clue what I'm talkin bout read my "I am...officially retarded." journal. It explains my troubles with the chakram. Anyways, everyone loved it at Animazement so I really want to make the second so everyone's really impressed.

And...if I can finish in time, I will also be Matt. From Death Note of course.

I FINALLY found his shirt. I have been lookin for a long while. My Hot Topic sucks but I finally found the perfect one in the Hot Topic at a mall in Charlotte. Or whereever. Somewhere near there.
Even though I have those, I still have a ways to go.
I need to get pants. I'm not sure if I want to take a pair I have, cut them, then sew them back like Matt's, or just find a pair online, or even see if I can actually find a pair already made like that. Goodwill is in my future. I see it.
I also need ma boots. I love the boots he wears. Even if I can just get a plain knee-high pair of boots, I'll be fine. Cuz then I can wear those with my Axel cosplay, and fashion some way to put the straps on the front. I plan on looking for the boots either tomorrow or saturday.
And my friend Gin is so amazing. She's making my vest. i love her so much for doin this. She's like, my cosplay sewing queen. XD
And I've technically already got the hair. I also got a fake cig(SMOKING'S FOR LOOZERS, REMEMBER THAT.), and i already got my DS, so I'm good on that.

And will be my Roxas, and also Near, hopefully. If my friend Gin can come too, I hope that she'll have her Mello cosplay done by then, cuz then we can be the Wammy boys!!! >w<

IT. WAS. AWESOME. The most amazing experience of my life. my first con, and it will most definitely not be my last. I cannot wait until next year. In fact, I can't wait, so I'll be going to Ichibancon in January to tide me over til then.

Anyways, I met some amazing ppl there. Artists, cosplayers, random otakus(XD), and many more...even an Axel rapist. lol.

I made tons of new friends. OrgXIII cosplayers aplenty, even a Sephiroth/Itachi(). We were each others stalkers the whole weekend. I love her to death. I've even gone to her house for a party, went to Fort Fisher with her and her family, and just brought her to my city for a few days before chillin at her place for 5 days. i should have some more uploaded soon. just have to get them onto my computer. Our friend, Moe the Awesome, should have a few more uploaded soon as well, as soon as she gets done editing them, because she's an amazing computer whiz. ;D

I was finally getting close to being done with my first chakram over at 's house, and i was trying to get done faster so she could get to bed and sleep cuz she has an AP exam tomorrow. Anyway, long story short, i got careless with my x-acto knife, and cut a lil too fast and a lil too hard, and it slipped. Whoop! right into my thigh. i looked down and noticed that my pants were cut. I knew i had cut myself, but i couldn't help but think, "aww...now i have to fix my pants...." and that's when i noticed blood gushing out. a lot of pressure and couple washcloths and some hydrogen peroxide later...and i was terrified that my mom would make me get stitches. my skin is not cloth to be threaded. >< anyways, i get home withh a washcloth taped to my leg, and my mom and stepdad are gathered around it staring and discussing, and poking and prodding(ow.), and cleaning and bandaging. They said it should be stitched, but they know how i feel about it, so my mommy's gonna buy me some butterfly closures tomorrow. they work like stitches but without the creepy needle...woot. so yeah, i'm gonna be limpin around for a couple days. especially since i have a leg brace on so that my leg doesn't bend and stretch and the wound doesnt come open again.

but anyways, since all this has happened, i highly doubt that i'm going to be making my second chakram....maybe for anime usa later this year. i cant take it anymore. this damn thing now has my blood, sweat, and tears put in it. but it's so gonna be worth it. i'll finish the handle hopefully tomorrow. (i prolly wont...) I've decided to do a wig instead, and i think i found someone to do it for free.
and i just bought my goggles yesterday, so i pretty much have everything done. ^w^ and i bought an Ein plushie!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >w< i'm so excited...i cant wait til it gets here!

So, I have two cosplays planned. The first and last day, I'll be cosplaying as Axel.
Axel Status -
The biggest thing I have left is to make my chakrams. I've already bought everything I need for it. I'm just waiting for the main material for them to come in the mail, and they'll be arriving tomorrow. After that, the only thing I have left is to either tighten my pants so they fit better and tighter, or find good enough pants. Also, I need to get my hair cut a bit, and also practice styling it. And, hopefully, all this will be done this Saturday when me and have an all-out, all-day cosplay adventure.
The second cosplay is Ed from Cowboy Bebop. I'll be going as her on the second day.
Ed Status -
I still need to find goggles that are good enough. I also need to practice her hair too.

I want, no NEED, this month to fly by.

So, a question. I just want to know, besides the couple ppl on dA that I KNOW are going. Just let me know if anyone else is going to Animazement this year, cuz I want to hunt you down.

IT'S AT BOOKS-A-MILLION!!! i've been wanting to work there since i was 14! i tried to apply at 16, but you have to be 18. so i had to wait TWO MORE YEARS!!

if you need a tip to get the job you REALLY want, and arent just browsin around, takin whatever you can get, then listen in. I'm super glad mom gave me this tidbit. Don't just turn in your application, hoping they'll call you back. Give them a few days to look it over (hopefully), and then call, or better yet, go back to the store and ask if they've reviewed your application. This will show that you're interested. I did this a couple times, and then they scheduled me for an interview. Please dress professionally. I cannot stress this enough. My interview went great. I could tell that he was pretty impressed. Also, don't ramble on, cuz you might end up sayin somethin you'll regret. Just let them ask the questions, and say all that's absolutely necessary. Let them learn that you're weird later after they hire you. XD Then, after that, keep calling or showing up and asking if they've thought it over. I got a background check the day of the interview, turned it in right near the holiday, so it took a while to go through so I went back a few times to check and yesterday, he hired me!!! So when I say this, don't laugh and think it's a joke, cuz it's not. I'm proof. Bug. the crap. out of them. Be polite and inquisitive, but still, SHOW THAT YOU ARE INTERESTED and they will take that in a positive direction. ^w^ Like with me.

So anyway, last night, I saw one of *bri-chan's deviations that was just amazingly epic, and she had been inspired by a livejournal submission by mozart([link]) It's called Dog Will Hunt, and it is EPICLY amazing. I'm not just saying that. It seriously is. I was up til 3 cuz I couldn't tear my eyes away.

It is a Joker/Harley fanfic of epic proportions. Characterizations, visualizations, twisted humor/violence/romance. They are just all fantastic.

Anyway, you might (hopefully, if you're still with me.) be asking yourself, "Then why were you excited when you woke up?"
It's because that since I was so obsessed with this fanfic that I dreamt about the Joker and Harley. But with a complete different storyline, and I think that it will make a great fanfic.
*giddy* So yeah, I will hopefully start writing it either tonight or when I'm on the plane tomorrow.

first off, i keep frickin waking up later than i tell myself to...
then i didnt get to spend time with my bf...
then i find out my bff was just put on total lockdown by her stupid ass parents...
THEN....(yes, there's more...) two big assignments i've had for two weeks were due today, and i didnt do either one, so that's two zeros right there.
i got my first failing grade in physics, on a test.
i then failed ANOTHER calculus test....i actually thought i was doing good, until i was just about to turn it in and saw there was a backside to the damn thing...and i only had 3 min. left....so yeah.
my fourth zero in one day.
and to top it all off...i've been worried about my bf all day cuz he lost his rotc hat and fair ticket...and i feel bad bcuz i couldn't help....especially since he had to go to class and i had to leave for college classes.

oh! waitwaitwait. i forgot something...after more than a frickin week of waiting....i STILL havent gotten my credit/debit card in the mail...I WANT MY DAMN MONAY!!!!!!!
