Yessss... I passed. My first university degree. It was long and bloody fight but it's over now

There are some things I will never forget now. Ever.

Phosphorylase cleaves both (alpha 1-4) and (alpha 1-6) bounds because glycogen is branched and therefore contains both of them.

Calcium oxide is made by heating up calcium carbonate, carbon dioxide is a second product of that reaction. This calcium oxide when in water, it changes into calcium hydroxyde. Calcium hydroxide in its final use takes back carbon dioxide from the air, the water goes away and the hydroxyde changes back to calcium carbonate. And that's how we build houses.

These are things people learn in elementary school - yet I felt like I discovered the America again, when I realized'em during the exam.

Oh well. Two weeks of holiday before the school starts again

Kat

there's no doubt.

the more i need to work or study or anything else that might require my attention, the more ideas for sketches come. or wonderful piano sheets that have to be played. or short stories that need to be written.

these pre-exam periods have certain drawback too, though. the exam at the end of that period, for example. or just that annoying fact that i ain't able to sleep, one gets tired of waking up after three hours of sleep, unable to get any more.

i even declined most of the rpg sessions, even though i always said that nothing can stand between me and my rpg. well, obviously, there is something.

i wish it was half of september already.

kat.

meh computer went comatose. it's in the computer hospital nao and clever people are taking look at it. i am afraid they say there's no help

which brings along the fact, that at the moment, i am without a single graphic device i would be able to use. from what is available to me, i hate GIMP deeply and with passion, and as for winpaint... no, not really...

basically, even a simple rescaling is a challenge. not even mentioning some cleaning.

so until the problem is solved somehow - either by a successful ressurection, or by obtaining another electronic slave - i will post ugly uncleaned versions of pictures. no, i can't wait. first, i hate waiting to present something that is finished already, second, i don't have the slightest idea when should the situation improve.

i hope it gets well soon.

kat.
