I finally saw Tangled the other day, and I absolutely LOVED it!! I really wasn't expecting to like it, because the last Disney movie I saw made me want to punch a baby (O HAI Princess and the Frog!!), but I have to say, I really, really enjoyed this one. I think the fact that the story had a little depth (the Mother Gothel/Rapunzel relationship) made a world of difference.

Eugene would've been such cliché character in any other movie, but here his kind of comic relief actually works because it balances out the "seriousness" of the rest of the story. It might sound stupid but my eyes are all puffy and swollen because I have been crying for the last hour and a half.

I had been working on this realistic portrait for about 4 hours, I had just saved the file (I save every so often) and I was zooming it out when my computer completely froze. Also, I've been trying to draw a funny HP comic for hours and I think at this point I have to be honest with myself and accept the fact that I cannot draw funny to save my life.
I'll keep trying though.

Next time I post here I'll have a couple of tequila shots before and we'll see what happens.

I've been posting some photo-manipulations lately, you probably noticed ;) After making the reproduction for sheispretty's contest I thought I'd try my hand at manipulating a bit, and see how it goes. I'm obviously just a beginner and my manips are still pretty messy, but I've got some ideas and I really need to practice so you'll probably see more soon.

Also, I'm getting a brand new Wacom Intuos for christmas (I've been dying to buy one for like a year but they are just so expensive, you know? But today I finally made an Edward that I like, after like 10 drafts :giggle:  I have to say, drawing boys/men is HELL for me. I've never been able to do it right, I don't know why. I've always felt much more "at home" drawing girls.
