I bought a small set of macro filters on eBay, so now, I'm probably going to be taking a lot more macro shots in my homemade studio. (as soon as I find a decent subject )

This game is one of the best I've ever played. I've only played it for a few hours, but it's fantastic!

Had a few troubles installing it though, the error: "ati2dvag driver has stopped working" kept appearing. I'd seen it a few times while playing Battlefield 2 and the UT2004 Demo.

The severity got worse, first it just showed the error message and advised me to restart, then as I tried again, the computer restarted itself with no warning. So after a quick Google I found the problem was old drivers.

What should have been a couple of minutes to download took an hour because of my very-very slow connection. (3.5 kbps download speed, stupid speed-capping) The file was 12.1 mb in total so I left the computer and went and ate some dinner and watched TV. Finally the download was done.

I tried installing when I was told I needed to uninstall the previous drivers. But for that, I needed to download the uninstaller. (Why don't the come with an uninstaller, it'd be much easier) So I went to the ATI site and got the uninstaller, (only 300 kb ) So I uninstalled the previous drivers, restarted the computer, installed the new drivers, restarted the computer, it ran a few tests, then restarted once again.

Then I went into the game and HOORAH it worked!

Then I spent the next 3 hours playing.

Wow... This journal wasn't supposed to be very long

So now, I'm going to be playing B&W when I use up my download limit for the month and can no longer play Battlefield 2.

I managed to find a game with a good group of people and started as a medic, running around madly with health packs and shock paddles. I tried the sniper, but I found it was too impractical in the urban. I keep eambling on about this game

Anyway, onto business, I've been looking for some way to turn an .swf (flash movie) into almost any sort of movie file, (.mpg, .avi, .mov, anything!)

This has been driving me nuts for more than six months, I've tried at least 20 different programs, both freeware and shareware, and even tried methods such as desktop recording.

Does anyone at all know how to convert it easily? Contact your friends! Your friend's friends! Your local shop owner's second cousin!

Onto art: I've had this piece in my head and planned for almost 4 months, but I haven't had the time or equipment to get it done. Hopefully I can get it done in the next few weeks though.

I need my own camera that I can take with me wherever I go. I always see alot of things that look good, but I have no camera anywhere near me. I haven't been looking at too many, but it won't be expensive. But I hope to get one soon,

I think that's enough rambling for now.
