last night i performed my last POTO french song for my parents and sister. I have 14 famous songs from The Phantom of the Opera memorized in French now. What music should i do next? another musical? Disney?

also, in my quest to read more French literature i just finished an abridged version of the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I loved it. I am currently reading an abridged copy of The Phantom of the Opera entirely in Fench. Its fun..I'm on Chapitre Trois (aka chapter 3).

As of today it has been 8 weeks since my last blood donation. Last night the phone rang, and when i answered it was the Red Cross caling for me. This guy was all like "well as of tomorrow you can donate...would you like to help us again?" i said yes and we set up an appt. what creeped me out was he said "You have a very valuable blood type." what is this guy? a vampire?

Speaking of vampires, i caught my mom watching the Twilight movie last night. haha. I plan to go with Identical and maybe some friends to see New Moon tomorrow. (FOR THE RECORD: I'm nuetral on Twilight. I am not "go to he** Bella" or "OMG EDWARD MARRY ME". I can go either way.

Something else interesting that happened to me. Today a girl i know of mine was complaining about all the rules at school, she said "what is this?! a MORMON school?!" I AM MORMON... looking back, this makes me smile.

My reaction after seeing it: did i just sit here for an hour for that? The only good thing was the voice actors. The animation wasn't that great, it was rated PG-13 for violence and crappy language, and it didn't follow the comics at all!
LEX LUTHOR ENDED UP BEING MY FAVORITE CHARACTER IN THE MOVIE!

I would almost rather have rewatched "an american carol" again! I found "An American Carol" innappropriate and just stupid, it made me laugh some of the time, but all in all i didn't really like it.

I got drafted to help in the school play, a mello-drama called "Deadwood Dan". (Real story: they said, "hey we need a 3rd spotlight and we know that you know what to do" and i said "okay") so since Monday i have been at rehearsal. Ah, the sweet love/hate HATE HATE that is TECH WEEK!

IDENTICAL HAS STREP THROAT! who the said she could get sick again?! So far i have never had strep. I have had a test, but it was negative. She has had it 4-5 times... i don't think i will get it because i have been huggin' her and stuff for the last few days an i have been fine. However, whenever stickdad gets strep he gets really sick. it's like the only sickness that knocks him down. I have an immune system like him ^^

Hey people. I got on the computer to work on a project due tomorrow in my French class, and decided to update on my being sick.

We decided it has to be something different than what ~Identical had because whatever made her sick for 2 days should have only made me sick for two days or less considering i have a stronger immune system than her. Today is "DAY 4" and i am feeling better, but not 100%. It's nothing serious, just a yucky cold and upset stomach.

As you guys know i am learning famous songs from Phantom of the Opera in French.

I have memorized: Angel of Music, Phantom of the Opera, Music of the Night, Wishing you were somehow here again, All I ask of you (reprise included), and Past the Point of No Return (ending with AIAOY included)

And now the question, should i do the Final Lair scene?
I've taken a look at the music. I can sort of pass off two people singing but i don't think i can do three. But upon further investigation, when the males sing Christine's voice is almost non-existent. I am not sure if i can pull it off...what do you guys think?

I signed up for 9:30, so i left class at 9:25. I went down there and read the information and got a number (27). When i sat down they called #25. i had friends with me who were numbers 26,28,and 29. When the doctor called me back i gave him my parental consent form, showed him my school ID and had to answer some questions. Then he stabbed my finger and took a test to see if i was infected or had a low hemoglobin and approved me getting my blood drawn. (him stabbing my finger hurt worse than the initial blood drawing!)

Then they checked my arms, decided on my left, and had me sit in a chair. Then one of the medics had one heck of a time finding a vein (I apparently have deep veins). Then he had me do some arm exercises to get my vein to pop up. He marked it with pen, smeared the area with iodine and stabbed. (i looked away). Then i watched the blood leave my arm, it was pretty neat. I had to move my fingers every few seconds to help with blood flow (they had me squeeze something).

Probably 10 minutes later they disconnected me,showed me the bag, and had me slowly get up. Then i went and had some juice and cookies and had to sit for 10-15 minutes so i wouldn't have any problems. After that they had a girl escort me to my next class just as an extra precaution, because they already had a girl faint and someone else throw up. (And to make sure i didn't lift my heavy backpack with my left arm). I arrived in class at 11:10.

I wouldn't say it was fun, but I would do it again no problem

anyways, considering drawing has to be kept at a minimum, i next plan to read "The Angel of the Opera" by Sam Siciliano. It is a Sherlock Holmes meets the Phantom of the Opera type thing...interesting. Then i will look into Susan Kay's "Phantom".

Today was my first day of Physical Therapy:

so ~stickdad took me (we got there at 2:00) and we were stuck in the waiting room filling out paperwork until 2:30 (my appt was supposed to be at 2:15)Then my therapist came and got me and figured out where i was in pain. she said tendinitis people have more distinct muscle pain (well i have had this for nearly 3 weeks and the pain has gone down!) so she thinks maybe it's nerves. so she had me do some exercises, and sent me home with some exercises i can do at home. i see her next week. My arm was sore after that from all the prodding and use. As for drawing: she says for now, don't draw (or write). Sorry guys

Diagnosis: tendonitis. the tendon around the ulnar nerve is inflamed and interacting with the ulnar nerve causeing the pain to go to my shoulder.

Treatment: Physical Therapy. keep icing it and taking pain meds....don't use a sling.

IT'S NOT CARPAL TUNNEL! still hurts though...

* still don't expect new art. i will be submitting some stuff i drew before all this but other that that...

went to walmart and bought the season 3 box set today while i was out with ~stickdad and ~Identical

AMAZING EDIT:
well my referral should be accepted soon so i can start physical therapy. Good News, i drew a comic last night. I had to stop A LOT for ice breaks and because my hand was in pain, so it took longer. BUT: I DREW! The Physical Therapy will help with the rest of the pain and prevent this in the future.

i am in pain from fingertips to shoulder so...much...pain

it is either
a)return of the tendonitis
b)nerve problems

I am currently TRYING to find the brace i used last time and the sling.
i hate typing one handed

EDIT: WE CAN'T FIND THE BRACE and the sling was returned to its original owner

EDIT2: we wrapped my wrist and hand in an ace bandage and i am using a scarf as a sling

EDIT3: well it can now be said that ~Southern00Belle is awesome. she refilled my subby ^_^.

also, to quickly update on my arm (or as fast as i can type left handed) i am on strong pain meds and i am on orders from my mom and sister (dad too but not as much) NOT to use this arm

However, right now we can't even get the thing to open (and yes i made sure its on). Photoshop is actually cooperating pretty well. It's just DA. DA is taking FOREVER to upload art. I told it to upload a picture i drew,i told it to start, watched a half hour cartoon, came back and it was still UPLOADING. is anyone else having problems with DA? or have an EPSON scanner?

Now that i got the CSS to work i will now reward you with a true and hilarious story. (just don't tell the cops )

Yesterday my dad (~stickdad) took the recycling down those giant recycling bins at a nearby 7-11. Well, he came home and realized he couldn't find his cell phone. He went out to the High School (he teaches high school) and tried to call it. No dice. So he goes to 7-11 and calls me from a payphone and tells me to call his phone. I called his phone about 10 times. Then he comes home and says "*Lord44's real name*, my cell phone is in the recycling container, and you're skinny enough to go get it." I thought he meant the container he used to take the recycling to 7-11, so as i was headed to the backyard, he said "No, get in the car." OH... so we are speeding down the highway (don't tell the cops), because my dad is scared they are going to dump a whole bunch of paper and we'll never find his phone. So we get there, and i look at my dad and ask him: "how am i going to get in there?" and my dad looks at me and says "I'll pick you up" so my dad picks me up, and hangs onto my ankles so i can get into the hole where you put your paper. then he has the nerve to tell me "rememebr it is against the law to play in, on, or around these things." so i get his cell phone and he helps me climb out. Then we see these old ladies, and they are like "You're kidding right?" and my dad just looks at them and says "Hey, at least it wasn't on vibrate." Afterwards, my dad let me go into 7-11 and get a slurpee and an icecream treat.

However, after fighting with my sister i have learned it is the squeaky wheel that gets the grease. When I take my case to the DA help desk i will be polite and calm.
