Hello fellow watchers!

So, summer's almost over and a new year of work and university is right on the way. I have to film two short movies for uni exams, and one of those must be a documentary (that means interviews). I really don't know where to start, as the theme for those films is a bit unusual... So the next weeks will be focused on these projects.

I'll take part at :icondavidkawena:'s project for his "FAN Art of The Princess and the Frog" book (if you want to know more, just take a look at his journal [link]), so I'll have to find some spare time to think about a nice picture about the latest Disney hit.

You know, I should study and do videos for exams, but my laziness improves worse than ever, so I found a lot of time to take a pencil on my hand and DRAW! OMG quite a mystical feeling.

Hello fellow watchers and friends xD
I wonder why almost 3/4 of my folders are not working. I mean, all the deviations are available in the main page of my gallery, and they all work, but when I try to open one folder, the page is empty. I wanted to get a new look for the layout (even if CSS is quite an enigma to me) but that feature doesn't work too - even if I have a subscription :/ That sucks!
Is it all working at your place?

Talking about other subjects, have you already seen Earth?
I really really really would like to see it, but it is not available at any theatre near my place >:[ People at Disney Italy must be completely fool and mentally retarded...

Hope to update my gallery with some new Disney Portrait asap!

As many of you already know, Italy got surprised by a terrible disgrace. An earthquake hit the center of Italy, killed more than 275 people, and left more than 20.000 people homeless. The main town of Abruzzo, l'Aquila, is a ghost town.

I have no words to describe my feelings. I myself am fine, and my family too. The major tremor was painful to me, even if I live far from the epicentre. People in Abruzzo must face more than 100 earth tremors per day, being aware that they have no place to came back.

I truly hope this all ends as soon as possible, so that we can all help these poor souls.

Hello there!

These days were a bit strange. I had a couple of exams, they all went fine, so I can now start updating my gallery (sorry for not being so present here on DA!).
The display page says I'm gonna reach 28.000 hits soon, so -first of all- I would like to thank you all guys for visiting my page and watching my stuff :clap::clap::clap:

Here's a question for the french people now (but of course you all can take a look!): I heard about two GREAT and basically AMAZING animated project in your country. I'm talking about 'Siegfried' and 'Un Monstre à Paris'. I just wanna know what is going on about these aniamted features? Is it true that Siegfried is not going to be animated anymore? And why did they stopped the production for Un Monstre à Paris?! Can you please enlight me?
Siegfried's trailer was breathtaking (take a look with your own eyes [link] ), and the crew was full of great french artists (Claire Wendling and Pierre Alary, just to mention the best known!).

By the way, I'll hopefully add a new Disney Portrait during the next week, so stay tuned ;)

Yesterday I've seen for the first time Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron... I love James Baxter's stuff! It's awesomely perfect, I love how he uses animation to bring a character to life! Even Sinbad was a great movie (except the final...) but Spirit is definitely better.
I just can't find anything from these two movies (I mean, production stuff... sketches, concepts, pencil tests) I should try searching more.

Oh, I found Susan Kay's Phantom, and I'm trying to translate it in italian! It will take me an entire liiiiiife but I'll do it!

1. I totally love musicals, especially the french ones. So I'm "Romeo et Juliette" addicted, and I'm now watching "Le Roi Soleil". I like "Wicked" too, and I've seen "Notre Dame de Paris" (and I'm waiting to see "Giulietta e Romeo", both by the great Riccardo Cocciante..)

I loved the fact that all the young guys fight together with the adult and they seems like a big team of superheroes (:D) But I didn't like that for about 10 chapter anything interesting happens in their life. They live in that damned tent, quarrelling like fools. And, have you noticed Hermione cries every 20 sec...? I mean, she doesn't cry for 3 books, she had to give vent to her desperation! :XD:

I'm so sorry for Remus and Tonks :cries: poor Teddy!!!! How can he keep living with no parents... and Harry Potter as godfather?

I didn't like that Dumbledore got totally decried after all the things he has done for Harry. And Snape, instead... he's my least fav character for 6 books, and in the end he loves Harry? Seriously, are we joking?! Is he stupid or what? Btw... I loved the Malfoys. Finally someone mock 'em down! Bwahahahaha loved Ron punching Draco!

It has been a great, great week. Sharm el Sheikh is a very beautiful place to stay, probably because it's surrounded by... nothing! Or better, there's the desert. My God, the desert gave me such an idea of stillness, I'de love to stay there one whole day...

I really have had so much fun! The entertainers have been so funny, I used to laugh for every single stupid thing... Oh, I have to stay I have been tired all the time, I used to play 3-4 volleyball matches per day against a russian team (all composed by old people, but they were kinda unbeatable!) I have been excited every day, but the moment I sit down on a chair I started to sleep... anywhere, even at the restaurant!

And the sea... Oh, now I know why Sebastian sings "Under the sea". There's another whole world ahoy there! I really enjoyed all the fishes, so many splendid colours, so many different species to recognize.

We wanted to spend the week at the beach, but we decided to have a trip into the desrt on dromedaries... OMG I still remember how it hurts you-know-were! You all guys, remember: never sit on a dromedary without a pillow under your ass! Btw it has been a great experience (...Ouch!)

The last days we decided to do something TOTALLY fool: the ascend of mount Sinai!
It has been DESTRUCTIVE. We leaved from the hotel at 10 pm, we drove into the desert for about 2:30 hours, we started to climb (ok, it was not climbing, but by feet is exactly the same!) at 1:00 am until ***5:30 AM***!!! Once arrived, there has been a great sunrise (you MUST see the desrt when the sun's rising!) and then we started the descent. I don't feel prepared to do it once again, I will remember how it is for ages!

I can't believe it! This year my parents celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary, and they decided to have a holiday all together, as a family! Isn't this wonderful?! I mean, this period is very stressful for each of us, I think we DESERVE a holiday!

I passed the Academy (it seems a militar-ish school, but it's a school of fine arts LOL) exam (yatta!) and I've started lessons. I have subjects such as photography, screenplay, movie directing etc.

End of "the latest on me" :giggle: (as you can notice, my life's not so eventful)

Today, I'm in my sister's office! OMG it's a strange feeling (scary) I fear to do something wrong :nirvana: I'm working on the staff's caricatures for their website. I don't know if I can upload them as a deviation, but I'll give the link to the site sooner as possibile (the site is still under construction)

Ho ufficilamente deciso di iscrivermi all'Accademia di Belle Arti qui vicino a casetta mia, perciò AUTOBUS per i prossimi 3 anni =___= ||| Lunedì mattina ho l'esame di ammissione e sono TERRORIZZATO: tema principale: secondo 400 e 500, tutte cose che ho fatto in secondo superiore... Cmq grazie alle dritte di Gretuccia (miticaaaaa) dovrebbe andare tutto okkappa--- speriamo!!!

Oggi è stata una giornata splendida (finora...): ho FINALMENTE ricevuto i soldini del premio che ho vinto!! Ah, forse è il caso che vi spieghi qualcosa in più... Dunque, frequento l'ultimo anno delle superiori e studio Grafica Pubblicitaria. In terzo ho ottenuto la media più alta della classe, e quindi l'anno successivo sono andato a Torino per fare una gara a livello *nazionale*... Dopo circa 4 mesi ho saputo che sono arrivato SECONDO!!! E quindi mi hanno mandato i soldini con cui farò una settimana a Parigi (my dream...). Sono al settimo cielo!!!
