So it's time for Christmas holyday. Today I still have to get my
ass to school, meet my swedish teacher about attending already in
progress swedish courses. 2 of them. I missed 2 weeks so far but
it appears I'm able to get on with this, meaning that I will finish
my senior high on that part. Then I do have class to actually attend
today. Philosophy. Which ends 14.00.
During the week or two off I get from school I should read some
boring book, finish final sketches for my art diploma to show
on 7th of January next year. Today or this weekend I should have
to wrap a drawing of mine, or atleast put it into frames so I
can give it to my mom on Christmas (so brother, if you are reading,
no word to mom).
I hope I won't have to be Santa this year for my sister and her kids.
They'll just recognise me and it won't really be all that fun.
Altho I did get 20€uros for it last time I did it.
Also, my other sister has told me she would love to have a drawing for
herself too someday. Maybe I'll sketch some scenery. Have to buy oil pastel
crayons, or whatever they were called to color a final drawing. Same I
used for the painting I give for my mom.

...or almost done. I did ink them, and I did upload them. Half in scraps, half in my e-mail. Had to scan them in parts which I have to photoshop into complete pages. 4 pages altogether. More than likely, they'll end lookin like crap. Why didn't I take simply photocopies or even used digitalcamera? I'm lazy and I don't have to bother my teacher this way.
So on this week I'll have exam on swedish, I'm going to do some horrible photoshopping so I can post my work which I originally inked with my shaking hands. Looks horrible in my eyes already, will be butchered further with my horrible editing skills.
Jokes are also poorly written. Or the only written joke.
I'm hungry, woke in 7am and it's now 1.30pm. I haven't eaten anything, I been drinking tea like crazy and now I feel that I have to get to toilet. Fast. So all is well.

~EDIT~
Holy crap! I managed to screw up scanning by being careless. Should have taken 4 more scans as mid section of pages are missing. So no finished comic posted right now. Also, waiting for dad to finish cooking. Funny enough, I haven't yet had a pause and get to the toilet.
Another thing I nearly screwed up was putting myself in for the matriculation examination on next spring. Headmaster called my brother to inform me to arrive at school before 3:00pm or I wouldn't be able to get to exams. Appereantly they couldn't find me in the art class for some reason. Had walked home to get finally something to eat, but instead had to head back.
So now I should study english grammar (grammer?) for next spring. Only subject I can achieve good results from.

So, I'm at school as I write this. I sketched something out for my art class, and my teacher is kind enough (all art teachers here actaully are) to let me use computers for my own purpose, meaning I'm writing this and scanned few sketches (posted in my gallery, finally little update).
This was good monday, for me atleast. I'm feeling good.

So I started to do my work for that art diploma. I spent first lesson
from 8:20 to 9:30 going through what I was going to do for that course
(we are designing some sort of installation).
From there on untill 13:40 it was sketching, planning, raging and
smiling witht the diploma work. Heck, I did some excellent things
but also one of the sketches look like shit, nothing like what I
wanted. I should propably keep some sort of journal for my progress
which I attach to my portfolio, like all the sketches and whatnot.
Now I'm bit tired, but I'm still going to grind my paladin atleast
one more level.
Atleast I have the joy to see my sister and her children this week.

As it says in the title. Art Diploma. Time to make sketches, collect
info and all that. If I succeed in this, well it opens doors, or atleast
helps me getting my foot between them.
Subject: My vision of character from Finnish folklore (from Kalevala).
Medium: Anything I can think basically. From pencil drawing into photography.
As long as it is in visual arts. I'm thinking oil pastels. Possibly even
painting (which I find difficulty and messy).
Oh, and my matriculation examinations are starting next week. Too much work
and no play makes me a dull boy. Wasn't exactly a thrilling case before.
I, seriosly, should start reading for the exams but for some reason I always
end up watching cartoons or something.

So, today I purchased what I always wanted to try out.
A grapics table. Always wanted one to see how it works and
if it's any good. It's Trust TB-6300 Slimline Design Tablet.
200 by 150 mm (8x6 inches), 512 step pressure sensitivity,
42 extra direct accessible programmable soft buttons and no
idea what to do. Well ye, I got it hooked in my computer, tried
to doodle a bit, messed around with pressure settings and whatnot.
Will be a while to actually get something worth posting done with
that thing.
So that's how I spent 60 €uros just like that, oh I bought microfiber
swiper and some sweets.
