So ~Salamandersoup and I were talking yesterday, and we decided we were unsatisfied with the art forums currently in existence and resolved to make our own, superior one. AND WE DID. @u@ Cketch Forums, ladies and gentlemens. ([link])

Since it was just made yesterday, there's .. hardly anything at all up yet. But that's where YOU LOVELY PEOPLE come in. It's for anyone who seriously wants to improve their art and get honest feedback. Also, lulz. Also, we're going to try to make it in the same vein as all the really great art forums that have come into existence only to wither and die before their time (SketchTavern, Cloud9, etc.) So join, please? It may not look like much now, but fancy formatting and such will happen once this semester at school ends and I can have time to do things other than fret.

In case you missed it, GO HERE ---> [link]

Wow, I had a feeling that sticking around here long enoguh would pay off.....

...actually, that's a lie. Deviant Art is like wearing plastic bags to a fancy shoe convention without a cummerbund and all that.

Somehow, I feel like looking at many of the resident artist's works here has finally crushed the barrier that has been plagueing me for so long. Maybe I "discovered" a better creative method for myself or MAYBE my mind lapsed back into 4th grade.

Whatever happened I FEEL ARTISTICLY FREE. No longer bound by the shackles of awesome Kick Ass-Urai (Samurai... I like(d) to draw Samurai). I've decided to stop following rules set by the art community.
Get it? Boiling noodle? Nah, me neither.

Anyways, in this new found "state of mind" I can't even bear to look at most of my work here without feeling creativley depressed.

I promise I'll try harder... Or maybe that was my problem.

I promise I won't work as hard from now on.

Since everyone else has been getting "deep" and writing about conclusions regarding life (Sara and Wentworth) and sicne Im such a tool, GUESS WHAT!?

CONCLUSIONS!

Never occured to me to write these down and share em, but seeing someone else with such similar ideals do it, hey, why the Hell not?

*Love and adoration should be reserved for things that can give it back.
--I've realized that coveting material goods is ridiculous. The only real reason I can imagine anyone sincerely loving a material good is sentimental value. Even then, the memories and meanings are not contained within the objects themselves.

*(Im trying my best not to copy people... BUT!) "Don't judge" because you most likely do not have the slightest clue why people are the way they are.

*Hate/Anger and depression are utterly useless. I can't recall one good or decent thing Ive accomplishd or gianed through anger or depression.

**People who practice Aikido may cuss alot outside of class (Ok, a really specific and not very deep one... but evertime it happens it floors me.)

*(again... COPYING PEOPLE!)"Life is what you make it". More specifically, the problems in life are only as big as you allow them to get in your head. Taken from the sissiest song Ive ever heard (and coincidentally, one of my favorite songs) "To make a mountain of your life is just a choice". If you're faced with a problem, might as well mosey through a flat plane to the solution rather than scale an enormous mountain. Catch my drift? Eh?

*If you think anyone is a bad person, it's probably just your own negative outlook on them. --This has come about specifically from observing class mates. They get called on something and suddenly their teacher is an ass.--Some people are just plain rotten though.

*As cliche as it is, Take NOTHING for granted because not a thing in the universe is eternal.

*If someone hates you, love them back.
It really pisses em off.

That's it.

Im such a copying-tool-whore.
