I'm going to be sure to take a lot of pictures both with my Sony & my Holga. I'm going to start using 35mm rather than just start using Polaroid as well. There's so much I can still do with Holga I haven't tried yet. Might as well master it the best I can. I mean, 120 is $11 to develop in my area when I can go to Walmart & get 35mm developed at $7 a roll. No-brainer to me.

Had an awesome Thanksgiving with my family so now it's back to school work. I really can't wait till Christmas break. I hate school I can look forward to the second semester though; I'm taking a web designing course for the hell of it. Maybe digital photog as well if I get my request in on time. All of this on top of swimming, gah. I really need to get my mind out of the gutter & stop screwing around on the net.

But lulz, I'm seriously doing better. I can't believe it's November already! I love it, but man...I'm so not ready for it. Swimming's coming up. I hope. If the high school gets their pool back this week anyway.

I need to finish up my logo for Tsuki Club. I'm so proud of myself I got an anime club started. Let's just hope I can keep it going, yknow? We have to get started on our little project and everything.

Once I get money and buy Orange Box + Gmod + Left 4 Dead (1&2) and play legally for once, I'mma start investing in different film cameras and more film. I miss the magic of my holga (still have three rolls left to develop) & I want to start using my No. 1 Pocket Kodak. I think I'm getting a Polaroid 1000 for Christmas...I didn't realize how expensive the 600 film was. It's more ridiculous than the 120!

For now I have two computers. It's a pretty nice set up. Sasha (my current school laptop of failure) is on my left and Viao (the new one) is what I'm using right now. Sasha has her own purple/green/yellow screens of death now and again so it's hard to do anything on her. So hopefully Viao won't be as much failure, considering he had a previous owner.

Funny story you see. Last year, my dad got a new digital camera to replace the one I supposedly broke but that was almost 5 years old already. he went to Philadelphia with it, but couldn't find it when he came back home. So, he said whoever found it could keep it after he got another one.

Then on Thursday, as I was looking for the newer family camera, I found the old camera bag strap in the back. I went to grab it thinking the new one was in it. Turns out, that It was the old one in perfect condition while the new one was in the other closet.

So I get to keep the new one! Yaee~

While I did not know any one who was killed in the attacks, the crash of Flight 93 in Shanksville, PA hit very close to home. Literally. I've been to the site. It's a serene and windy place. I left my prized Pittsburgh Penguins hat there. I'm hoping to go back and leave flowers some time.

My uncle had worked in the D.C. Mint at the time of the 9/11 attacks and saw the damage that had been done to the Pentagon from the Mint's roof. That, to me, is very chilling.

Another year I've grown and built upon these thoughts. After the attacks, on Wednesday, September 12th, 2001; I went to school. It was a day to draw in our journals. I drew the towers collapsing. Apparently I had been the only one as I witnessed teachers looking through my notebooks rather concerned and I had been called to the office.

I had always been a mature person. And I do not blame the past few years of depression on the attacks of 9/11. But, I do believe that me being me, having such a complex understanding of the world already, that it forced me to grow up faster. I don't regret it. But, sometimes I wonder. How different would I be if I had not realized the significance in the loss of life on this day eight years ago? It was the moment on T.V., at eight years old, when I saw the towers fall for the God knows how many times repeated, that I would join the armed forces and fight for my country when I became of age. My decision has not swayed since.

Right now, all I have left to say is that everyone who died that day, in New York, Virginia & Pennsylvania, are not only my heroes, but America's heroes. Let their souls rest in peace.

So I was chosen for a Jr. High art exhibit (in my area the junior high goes until 9th grade). Because the deadline was yesterday, I have to finish this 9 x 11 sketch to fit into a 18 x 24 matte that I have to do myself. It will be very interesting. More epic part is the exhibit date is the same as my swim team banquet. I just hope everything turns out alright and my mom doesn't slow me down.

Hoping this doesn't jinx me, school's slowly (painfully) improving. My D- in Geometry's going up to a D+ (lulz, not that much better but we're getting there). So if I get it back up to a C, all my grades will be the same as last semester. I'ma try to get my World History up to an A.

I'm seriously thinking that I'm getting the social exposure I've been praying for the past three years. It's just overwhelming me all at once. School advisers actually paying attention to me, friends from swim team, and then this art thing. I hope it lasts. Because if it does, then I don't think I'll need the public school since I'm still iffy about the whole idea.

Kay, second thing. Twilight. whatthefuck. I saw the movie, read the first two books and honestly, I am NOT impressed. Anyway...for once, I don't feel like making any resolutions. And if I did, they wouldn't be about my weight (wow, I know right?). The only reason I'm not is because I don't have time to be ambitious about a few specific things because they're all being thrown at me. It's like I'm just living life to live it rather than enjoying it, and it stinks. Bad.

So, my take on this year is moot. It wasn't good, it wasn't bad. Just...happened. I found what it was to really work hard in school and not make it where I wanted. I got stronger and faster but still wasn't good enough in swimming to be in districts in my main events. And...most of all, I got my heart broken and yet I found a person who I love so much, but I made a big mistake, and now, there is no guarantee that we will be together. I just have to keep holding on that, I'll make it back to the top. Because I know I'm determined enough to get there, I just need the inspiration.

I hope that '09 is full of more times that I'm able to stop and just be happy and successful. What freaks me out more, is I'm going to be 15 next Friday X_X I hope at least that day won't be like these holidays which feel as if they were all pain to get ready for and just a let down of emotions when they were over.

I'm on a break for finishing up my school work before the grace period to start the winter break. I'm so mad my grades dropped. My A's went to B's and my B's went to C's. It's only first semester and I think I can make it up by the second but it's just an extra thing I don't need.

High school swimming is way harder than I thought. Practice twice a day. First at 5 then the second at 3-6 pm. And because I qualify for my districts in the 100 freestyle, my coach likes to have me in a lot of events because I've been swimming for 10 years competitively almost. The meets are always on Mondays and Wednesdays and Invitationals are on Saturdays.

I haven't been able to practice piano as much because I've been so busy. I feel bad for my teacher because she's so nice and it's taking me forever to get through the level I'm on. Hopefully the break will refresh my system.

The Y!J incident really screwed up my savings so that camera ain't coming to me any time soon. I only have $80/$325. So yeah. I'm kind of upset. And I can't ask for it for my birthday next month cuz it's too expensive.

I should get back to work now because I'm babysitting (don't worry, I put the kid to bed) and mooching off public (unsecured) internet so I'm just going to cut this complaining short

Just so you know, I was an idiot. A really big idiot. I was obsessed with Yahoo!Japan auctions for a week or so using Celga to buy a bunch of shit. I got my invoice on Saturday. ONE-HUNDRED TWENTY FUCKING SEVEN DOLLARS. I did NOT expect that. I sent the second part of my payment today. I'm so irritated that my anger cannot be identified -___- No spending till April. I better get a ton of babysitting jobs for the Christmas rush.

High School swimming is way harder than YMCA swimming. More regulations, seven practices a week (yes, that means you have to go two times to days of the week). Morning practices are at 5 am and the afternoon ones are 3-6 (killer). I'm thinking about bugging my old coach from last year's team for the satellite practice schedule and drop in on a random practice. Oh, the look on their faces would be priceless X)

Speaking of le GJY, I'm going to a swim meet for Zach in Greensburg this Saturday. It's going to be epic. I haven't seen him in awhile. It'll also be cool because that was the first place we had a swim meet and sat together <3

I can't wait to go to the Penguins game tonight. Sucks that Fleury's injured though.

The religious education manager at my church is trying to help me out but oddly I can't even find time to explain my problems to her.
A friend is using me at my wit's end and I don't know how to break it to her that she's hurting me.
Two guys from school have big crushes on me. One more than the other and he has it really rough. Why can't I just say yes? I don't like pretending I love someone so much when I don't. It feels empty. And then there's Zach. Is that why I can't get into dating? Because I still feel an emotional tug of more than just friends with him?

I feel like I'm going to just fold into myself. I think I'd like that.

I'm pretty tired. Swim practice was tough on me. We finally got a schedule for the real practices. They start on November 17th so I'm excited. Zach has a swim meet on the 22nd in Greensburg but my rents say they need to "talk it over" if I can go. Parent's are irritating sometimes.

I find it really bizarre that when I get my period or when my hormones are really raging that I have a stronger interest in Sailor Moon. Don't ask me. Even I don't know. But it seems that the want for BSSM merchandise is stickin' with me and I ordered some things through an LJ community. I found this really cool kickboard on eBay but the person wants $40 for it so I'm scanning through Y!Japan's listings to see if I can find it there cheaper.

School is kinda stressful. I have a Spanish mid-term tomorrow and I'm behind by three quizes in Geometry because I need some help from my teacher. Science is ok. I need to raise it like my Geo, but it'll be easy. I've got A's in English and History but not by much so I guess it boils down to just improving my work quality.

God, I just hope I wake up to seeing McCain winning.

In the last six days that I've been really paying attention to the election, I can really say that I'm fearful of the outcome. Yeah, I'm conservative. Is it really a surprise? I'm homeschooled and my parents are doctors. Why does it scare me? Wellllllll,

1. Obama wants to "redistribute" the wealth. Which is basically code for "give money to the people who didn't work for it". And I'm not saying this because my family is "wealthy". We aren't. My parents have four kids and my dad basically runs his medical associates company. So we are doing well, but not as great as we could be. And when you think about it, we aren't the only type who will suffer. Small business owners look like they make a lot, but once they pay their employees and health benefits, it really diminishes. When the government decides to "redistribute" this money, they are SOCIALIZING the country and basically saying, "You work for me, you give me your money, and I decide how much you keep and I give away to other people." Like if you go trick or treating and your next door neighbor is lazy and doesn't. But you have to give him candy anyway. How is that fair?

2. People are voting on EMOTION rather than what's good for the country and it's really bad. Why? Because they hate Bush so much. Granted, the way the war was executed was not well planned, but it was necessary because we would have been attacked even more if we hadn't. However, people are saying they want ANY kind of change no matter what the guy is like. And THAT is a problem. A big problem. Put out this election for a moment, and just think, if people really just vote on emotion for the future elections, how many bad turns will this country take before it's totally collapsed?

3. The media is totally for Obama. There is NO way around it. None. If you really look at the magazine covers like PEOPLE, and look at channels like MSNBC, AND REALLY PAY ATTENTION, you'll see that Obama gets a "get out of jail free" card basically. If you look at history, you'll see that all the liberal candidates in the past 20 years or so and compare it to the crap the republicans got and it won't come close to the shit that the republicans got. It's just not fair! And people believe it is what's worse. And it's only now that McCain is jumping on this stuff that Obama's putting out. And some of this stuff is just plain LIES. I don't like McCain all that much(And I think Palin is a very wonderful and intelligent woman, but she wasn't the greatest pick for VP on the ticket) but I find him a lot better than the alternative.

4. If by now you haven't figured out I'm republican, then you must not be an Obama supporter. People on Socialvibe really ruffle my feathers because their excuse to vote for Obama is, "He thinks about the Middle Class", "He's a good speaker", "Palin is crazy", and "McCain is too old". WHAT? ...and I ask again, WHAAAT? That will be what decides your vote for the president?! WHAT is wrong with you? They also say, "Haven't you noticed McCain supporters are mostly 14 year olds?" Hey! Haven't you noticed that a whole heck of a lot of Obama supporters are college students that haven't really gone out and made a living yet(my observation. you rant at me, and I will shoot you. so shut up if you are an Obama supporter and think otherwise. Just shut up.)

Also, keep this in mind if you're thinking, "What do you know about any politics? You're still underage you stupid kid." Yeah. I can't vote. But I pay attention, and I'm still an American. And eventually I will vote. So I'm going to do what I can to express my opinion because I care about it.

While at my grandparent's, I spilled all my issues with my rents and school and my depression to my grandma. I could tell she knew it was worse just by the way I act. She said she had no idea that I was so depressed. I know when I give into her about this stuff, that I'm going to eventually tell my parents. Just a matter of when. So I feel really bad about making them worry. I hate people worrying about me, so I shut myself off and eventually take things out on everyone. Which has already started, so I know my parents are going to want some excuses for my aggression. I just can't win, can I?

When we got back, we found out the heater blew out. So it's like 52 degrees through out the house. It makes it hard to do anything so we'll be sleeping by the fireplace tonight I guess.

I figured out why I prefer winter over fall. The transition to getting used to looking outside thinking it's 3 when it's actually 1. And in winter, there are more cloudy days.

Oh yeah! My school's art competition is tomorrow meaning I have to have my submission in by 5 pm...and I haven't started yet. AGOASUPGOAISG I have to get my history done first. Just an essay on how the Romans kicked the Etruscans' asses.

My mom's ready to decapitate me and sever all relations to swimming in order to raise my grades. Does she really think that will motivate me? That'll just piss me off and get me even more depressed than I already am. She's so stressed and depressed herself, I can't bring myself to tell her how bad I really am right now.

I'm still way too overweight. IE: I'm a size 6, but I still need a 38 for my swimsuits. I know this only because I out grew my 36 by height and had to shop for a new one hoping to fit into another 36, but had to settle for a 38 which was actually comfortable. At least I'm not as over weight as Austin (that's so mean of me...). I think I'll starve myself on days I don't have practice. That'll be hard next week though because I'm going to my grandparent's and my grandma likes to stuff me like a pig.

"Santa" is considering getting me and the mushrooms (siblings) a Wii for Christmas instead of individual gifts cuz of the money stuff. So far the mushrooms like the idea. Hopefully we'll be able to find one.

My opinion on worldly news (not that anyone cares)in a few sentences; democrats are being assholes, people with stocks need to keep their money in the market because taking it out will just destroy it more and they'll miss out on money later.

Hopefully I'll be able to pull myself through the obstacles without falling into a pit again like a couple years ago.

We should never let these wounds heal. We should be fucking pissed off that the people who did this to us are still in freedom. The individuals may not be alive, but their leader and followers are.

We all know where we were that day. I was in second grade, and my mom had come to pick me up when we were being released for lunch. We always had lunch early for some stupid reason. I asked why me and my brother were being picked up early. "Two buildings have been hit by airplanes in New York City."

Me, a child still, with the knowledge of only two buildings with names in that city thought it was the empire state building. Before then, I had never heard of the Twin Towers. On the ride home, we heard over the radio, "There has been another plane crash...in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. In a field." I remember seeing my mom pale at that. We live 45 minutes from there. And that's when I understood why she had taken me home early. Though she had heard it earlier in the morning, it still caught her by surprise.

I sat there, watching the second tower smoke on the replay and my dad came home. I was too sick to eat my lunch at the site. I watched the second tower fall sitting on my dad's lap. I buried my head in his chest and cried. I was scared.

I've been to the United Flight 93 site since then. I left one of my hats on the fence. I cried remembering. I could only thank those heroes that had saved so many lives.

My uncle used to work in a building across from the Pentagon. I can only thank god he hadn't been closer. He told me he and his coworkers climbed to the roof of their building and watched the site.

And, I have been to New York. My heart still aches. I won't forget. I refuse to. I can easily say that the day changed me. I used to draw twin towers in my notebooks at school, and eventually the principal was told about it and they looked through them. I was very disturbed about it, and the only of my classmates that paid such close attention to the tragedy.

May those souls rest in peace. America, as a whole, and the world, will never forget.

The only reason I had to sit through orientations was because I'm a freshman and new to the High School system. This upcoming week won't be as bad because the Elluminates won't be as long but the Sophies and Juniors have called it "The First Two Weeks of Hell". Even without being in a real high school, I've found that it's already very time consuming. On a more optimistic note, I've been placed in the advanced classes for English and History.

I'm saving up for my first Digital SLR. It's an Olympus and I have just enough money to get it and a memory stick. But, my parents say that I should save a little more just in case I want something else. I think I'll ask to order it this week though because my dad got a replacement for the old camera and said I can't touch it. It's so shiny and really is a motivation to bug them to let me order it. So we'll see how that goes.

Oh yeah! had her first dA anniversary(congrats!), and I forgot my second anniversary was three days ago. Yay me?

I've abandoned 90% of my accounts on net communities. Just too busy to keep up with them. Right now it's this place, fictionpress, and gaiaonline. I've just about halted my AMV's. I haven't been on Gaia as much as it is. And school hasn't started yet. AGAUGOIAGU. Zach started school already. He keeps begging me to go to a regular school that it's so awesome and that the social stuff is even better. AHEM; I started homeschooling because I don't give a shit about the social scene. I've got swim team and my phone to talk to my friends. I'm all set. Even though I'm not on the same swim team as last year with Lindsy, Ashton, Jaymie and Zach, I'll meet new people on the local High School swim team.

Oh! I and I got my laptop from my school. It was a pain trying to name it. Austin suggested "Navi 2" but I said the curse of the computer would live on if I did that. So it went from Kanso to Arisu to Alice to Sasha. Cassie named it Sasha because she named hers Tasha. Wow. Just wow.

I really can't believe how much has changed...

In other news of my sad life(or lack there of) My camera is close to totally being dead which is depressing for me. I've decided to start my own cartoon based off my siblings at my Grandad's request/idea. I think it'll be fun in the end. Also, I'm auditioning for xKaosu's OVA Sacrifice as Sailor Saturn on YouTube. It's based off of Sailor Moon, so I thought it would be cool. Wouldn't hurt to start voice acting

Oh, and also, can anyone pray that I'll get a new laptop from my school? To put it long story short, I missed the deadline to get one due to misinformation and I really can't take my already five year old computer for another four years.

If I hadn't watched it that one night a few years ago, I never would have gone to Airbender.net and met the awesomest people like Cassie and Brit and pleanty of others. They've really helped me along the way. But in the end, I have to give some credit to myself, something I NEVER EVER do. I fucking can't believe I'm going to be a high schooler...SHIT

All in all, the finale was pretty awesome. Sucks for me and other fellow Zutarians though. Ah, the post-fandom raving...I can smell it >D
