NEWS:
I haven't been updating much, I've come along a recent artist block, plus, it gets old taking pictures outside my house all the time, i need some new scenery. I want to start trying other types of media, i want to try some things using illustrator but, i've tried before, and i cannot get the hang of it, if anyone knows any good illustrator tutorials please send them my way, same goes for speed painting. I want to get better with my wacom tablet.

NEWS:
So DeviantArt has been very distant to me lately, its not an intention, just a habit. Since I received my MAC it didn't come with photoshop, well I have photoshop for it now, and i have had it for a few weeks butttttt i've been so use to not having it that i haven't been to motivated to do any artwork lately. College started also, so I've been juggling my school work and work work at the same time, and its just draining. Just keep a look out, I'm going to try and post a few things when i get the chance. 1.) someone that i care about, came down to visit me :]
and i got swept off of my feet.
2.) my MAC finally came in, i waited so long for it to come,
the company actually had the wrong information, so i
had to wait even longer to get it fixed. but now its here.

so the MAC is a LOT different from a regular PC, but if you ask me,
is a major improvement.!!! although i recently figured out that it doesn't
automatically come with photoshop, :/ a minor setback, but i'll get it
eventually.

I went from a horrible Emachines that almost died twice and is still slowly
dying, to an amazing MAC with 1 trill. of hard drive space!! although the monthly
bill will bring me down, but not by much.

& I'm sorry to anyone that actually follows my artwork, but if you noticed, i haven't
posted anything new lately, it will be a while, since i don't have photoshop, but
I've just had artists block, and haven't been able to create anything lately.
well, i've rambled enough, sooooo have a nice day/night.

I haven't really been active on DeviantArt lately; even though I said I would try and post more things. Well lately I haven't been motivated at all to participate. I would say that school has been keeping me busy, but I'd be lying; it hasn't been taking any of my time lately. I'm acutally really self concious of my art, and seing so many other artist and how amazing their stuff it, its not a really perk. but its motivating at the same time; to try harder. Also battling the fact that I'm a homosexual at my school is not helping either. But I'm going to try and change the way most of the narrow minded "folk" at my school think. In other news, I saved up enough money during christmas and new years to by myself a new SAMSUNG 19" monitor for my computer :] and above that, to me, I think my Photoshop skills have improved. Although I would like to be able to take amazing photos and not have to photoshop at all; but I know that I have a ways to go before I am able to do that.

It has been a very extensive ammount of time since I have updated my journal and my deviations. Well I am back out of hybernation now. I have had a wishy washy summer, camp was not as good as it was last year, but at least I was never really bored. Personal problems kept me from updating, but you do not have to worry about that anymore. I am still trying to make a verry obtuse amount of alkyone stock. I am also trying a new way of self photography, using only my hand to press the button for the camera, it is a vague explination but I am sure you can figure it out.


Last night was my first time ever going to a concert, It was at the House Of Blues, I went and saw; "The Main, Boys Like Girls, The Metro Station, and Good Charlotte" All of the bands were great but my favorites were The Main and The Metro Station, I recommend everyone to give them a lisen.

So I've been updating in my deviations section but I haven't been updating anything else, I'll try and update a little more. I :heart: my newest pictures I just put up, and I hope alot of others enjoy it too. I'll soon be at my first summer program at Coastal Carolina U.; I'll be going this sunday, so I probably won't update soon at all. "even thought I don't update a lot anyways." School is finally out and I'm stoaked, I got all A's, and one C, but at least I'm a senior now. I finally got a tablet, but guess what.......... guess...... I got it for freeeee. My art teacher had one that she got for free when she went to a convention. And she gave it to me for free, she says its too complicated/sensitive to her. Its one of the smallets types of tablets, but I still love it. You can see a few of my "attempts" in my scraps section. Oh and I finally got a job at a theater near my house. So I'll be able to get that phone I've wanted for a while now. "which is the blackberry curve"

Fierce, Tranny, & Hot Mess are the new fad
There hasn't been too many oppertunities for me to do anything new lately. School is time consuming, yet I have an abundant amount of free time at home, but I have no ideas. Music is normally what sparks my imagination but its not working right now. But there are also many things I want to try out. I really want to do more straight photography, things that people haven't already done.."like the color dye in water which is sooo overated" so far the best luck I have gotten were the pictures of raindrops on flowers. I'm also going to be doing requests, I'm not an artist that will just do comissions, for one: I'm not a great artist, & two: I have not the money to start making things for people. Ok. So I keep telling you that I'm going to start being more active.. I believe I'm doing half of that. I have been submitting art, but I haven't been checking my Messages or my Deviation notifications of the people I'm watching. & I'm making a new journal[obviously].:sarcasm: This time I really mean that I'm going to stay more active. If I can be on myspace 24/7 then I'm sure I can be on here at the same time. On the other hand I have made 3 or 4 new pieces, I know their not great but I am satisfied with them. Well I've went to the workshop that you go to before you try out for the scolarship to CCU's ART ACADEMY during the summer. & I have to say that they stepped up the game, its a lot harder to get into, but I don't think I'll have a problem with getting in. One thing that majorly inhales vigerously is that they are telling us what to creat for our portfolio instead of us showing them our beautiful art. & I was really looking forward to showing them my nautilus.[I might bring it anyways] oh and I only have from now till March 1st to create these things.!!! :pissed:

NEWS:
Well its been an amazingly long time since I created a journal and posted new art. My old internet service was causing a bit of a problem considering it kept me from being able to submit art on here, and even pictures on myspace. So I've been trying to fix my computer and my internet service, though I may change to a differnt provider. But now sinc I have beable to post new art it is obviously up. Again request are still open, mainly I wan major suggestions of what I should do. The only things I will not do are: Nude Art,[to me only sculptures that are nude are art, anything else isn't] And label art.[Ex. Emo] Other than that I'm pretty set. I would also like to creat a group, that has people that would share the same art/interest I do.


I no longer have an art class. My new mester started and I dont' have art anymore. But I am a TA[Teacher Assistant] for the same teacher, though it is for Basic Photography, but I believe I'll be able to get some things done. I've also posted a picture of the clay mask I made in the cls. I am stil not finisheth some things in that class, but I think I have enough pieces to qualify for the Art Academy at CCU.

So idk if you noticed but I have put up at least 5 new pieces, I guess last weekend was just an art inspired relaxation from school. I've also created a new image link icon, which can be viewed in my scraps. I'm also going to try and create/add on some new stock things. I want my stocks to be: vintage, abstract, fractal, and a wallpaper stock. I'm also doing requests, ex. ask me to make something, not in commission form but more like a suggestion but that will be one of my top priorities to finish before creating my own ideas. Ohhh and another thing, I'm trying out for Little shop of horrors, its a musical at my school :D

Our magazine recreation pieces haven't been going so well. the teacher said we cannot work on them any longer, but we can work on them at home. I guess I'd say I was about 45% done :star-half: Now were doing still life, the teacher says that we haven't done enough drawing. which is fine with me, I'm already :star-half: done. :D

NEWS:
This I believe has been the longest that I haven't Updated my Journal. && one reason is that I haven't really been making any art, that and I haven't felt like it, or had the time. && my mood which is like the stock market, it goes up and down all the time.. has kept me from my love - ART! No one really looks at my art, but I keep trying to create artwork that will catch and amuse the eyes of people on DeviantART. & thats exactly what I'm going to keep doing. But I am going to ask my fellow artists/audience to ask me to create things, give me ideas, request things, I'm always up to ideas, anything that will keep my happy & busy :D I'd rather be busy than bored any day.


My clay mask has been finished for a while now. we started on a project with magazine clippings. where we choose an artists work and re-create it using magazine clippings. I chose an artwork that can be viewed here on DA. Its the ghost frog. you can view my progress in my gallery, along with the tribute, title, and respect of the artist of the original piece. I give all credit to that person, I just thought it would be a lovely piece to recreate.

Ok soo I haven't updated this journal in a while.. time for some changes. [even though i seriously need to do homework right now] life is pretty much the same, just more happiness. I found an old window at the dump the other day.. && i'm going to paint it over and put a picture behind it.. since i've noticed its the new fad, but i'm going to use an actual window instead of a fake one. Also I created an image link for my art site here, you can see the image in my scraps.


well we have almost finished the clay project in art class. I have these symbols on my mask; nautilus shell, Christian fish, moon, Polaroid, and bars on my mouth. Also someones face exploded while in the kiln.. which blew up a couple few other masks, I was praying that mine didn't explode also.. luckily mine was on a different level/shelf in the kiln. In art club were also doing some fund raiser like things, one is for the animal shelter, & i'm going to draw a sad-like cat, and i also want to do a painting of one.

Well I know you guys have seen more of my art, and less of me :invisible: well I'm going to try and change that :D. Currently school has consumed most of my free time, as usual. And while at home, I get online to take my mind off of things. Lately things just haven't been going my way. I also need to start saving up money.. I basically blew all of my money :[ I really need to get a tablet!


Art class has been a lot better lately. We created plaster faces of our faces. then we put clay in them, to create a clay mask. We are suppose to find 5 symbols to add to the face. I really haven't figured out all of my symbols. Also on the subject of art, I've been adding a lot more art to my portfolio so that I will have enough art to apply for the summer art camp at coastal carolina university again.

Today was an ok Sunday. Yesterday was the best!! i went to the mall with my friends jade & jess.. we had a blast.. i took pics and vids.. of our mall adventures.. also we got in the photo-booth soo i'll be updating pictures of my photo-booth stock ;p also if you have noticed the outbreak of fractals that i have been uploading.. well .. fractals are very fun to create. most of my creations are from pure dumb luck ;p


well art class has been going all right... we are now doing magazine/comics && mine is titled "llama luvz" its hilarious && i'll scann them && put them in my scraps if&when i get finished ;p


OoOoO also.. i'm going to all state tomorrow with my a cappella class [choir] in columbia so i hope i make it.. && after we audition we are going to eat at the columbia mall then go shopping :]]]

First News of the Day:
Today was a normal Thursday, I couldn't wait to get back home from school to get back online XD. Cross Country practice was very tiring && i have it again tomorrow v_v. As you know I've finished my wire sculpture of a Nautilus && how amazing it is.. i'll try and take some pics of it and put them on here.. i guess i could just label this section the art section.. but i'm lazy n_n go figure! Now were working on icons for a color wheel.. sept it doesn't have to be a wheel.. YAY!.. I'm doing something like lightning bolts!!

First News of the Day:
The best part about today is basically that it was a friday :) my English teacher gave us ANOTHER project... 2 projects at one time is totally unfair. A Capella is awesome, i know one of the songs without needing the book *yay* i know it seems dumb but i'd like to see you sing it && start at the right moment :0

Secondary News:
ART was good, I made the Shield part of the nautilus and its very nice, now i need to finish the shell.. which is the hardest part :( I'm going to finish that piece with chicken wire then wrap it in caution tape :)

Other News:
Even thought I've been on :devart: for a wile now I'm still new at a few things. One thing being Commissions. I don't exactly know what they are but i do know that they are things that people request I make.. so I guess I can try that out... if anyone wants one.. or something like that I can try.. && I'm not guaranteeing you it will look good. I'm not going to charge money like the regular commissions so I guess this is like requests and such.. I just want to get the hang of it first.. so if any one wants to request... fell free to "note me".. because i don't really check my profile comments.. or you can comment this journal. Also if you want me to make prints out of any of my art tell me && i might consider. thnx && go check out my gallery :)

I actually have money to spend now cuz i finally cashed my 200$ check..:thumbsup: but i think I'll use it for clothes and such.. i am saving up for a Wacom intuo3 tablet, but since I'm about to turn 16 i can finally get a job somewhere and pay for the tablet in no time. oh and if anyone uses my art.. I'm also happy to say that i will be getting an art studio.. [not the cool nice kind]. i'm turning my old little shed/club house/ware house, into an art studio for my art supplies ect. but the sad thing is.. i don't have much supplies so i'm hoping to get a job so i can buy some new and fresh stuff.
