It started off with the "grand tour", since it was our first time over there.....that and smooshing Gary with love ♥ He's one of the cutest kittins I've ever seen! After that, we put on our costumes and went trick-or-treating. (there is no age limit SHUT UP) I was the Cat in the Hat, Neko was some sort of death fairy I think, and Innu was a princess. She had the cutest dress! x3
There was like nobody out for Halloween. I think it's because of the whole Swine Flu thing. (Did you know it can now travell via candy bar??) It's too bad, I was hoping to see alot of cool costumes out there. The only costumes that were really memerable was the one guy dressed as an actual cube puzzle, we complemented him on it, and the other we saw when we got back to Neko's house. Her brother walked in dressed as Hitler xD We almost died!
We watched about 2 minutes of House of Wax, we turned it off because I almost barfed x__x then we watched Gary play in Neko's candy pile, cutest thing I've ever seen! Then, after eating WAY to much chocolate and being hyper as hell, the only lamp in the living room falls over and goes out, we crack up, then we make shadow puppets on the wall xDD I'm laughing just thinking about it x3 (I'm a swan!!!)
About an hour later, we all drove to my house and that's where we spent the night. We were so tired when we got there we barely did anything, the suger ran out I think.

And that was basicly my Halloween! Hope everyone had as much fun as I did! ^^

We got to school. Both me and ~KusuNeko have a cold, and I still kinda do *sniffle* I was very tired. Second periode science class we find out we had yet another fire out behind our school. Everyone was facinated by the big red fire fuck. The smoke was irritating -__-
Oh yea, it was also picture day that day. I'd say it turned out ok, but I don't know if we're actually going to get the picture this year because my dad forgot to sign the form even though I told him to....*sigh* I'm not really too bumbed about that though.

Okay, this part is a little freaky. After taking pictures me and ~Silvergatomon were walking back to class. Some guy behind us suddenly says, "Man, it would be great if fire alarm went off now!"

Since me and her were in the middle of the hallway, we ran for the front door xD We were like the first people on the feild too. Again, it wasn't a drill. Apparently this week we had a drug bust, or that's what is going around anyway, alot of people had there bookbags raided (not me ;3 )
So we had a little fun out there, running around, giving piggy-backs, the works. I probably shouldn't have though, I was really tired when I got home.......stupid cold.
This time they acually let us back into the school, and instead of going to the very loved subject of Tech Ed., our math teacher gave us this uber worksheet of problems that I STILL don't have done! T-T I'll get working tonight I guess....

Happened on Tuesday. We were supposed to have a fire drill that day, so when the alarm rang there wasn't really any "OMG!" sentances. We all march to the field (kinda), the teachers take attendants and then we just basicly wait to be let back inside. The first suspicians were when people started to noticed that the alarm bell hadn't stopped ringing since we got out, then the police, fire-department and a couple canine units came, started running in and out, and well, you know :D
We ended up staying out there for over 40 minutes. During this whole time, ~KusuNeko, ~Silvergatomon, ~SuperSmashBrosArt2 and myself were just sitting in the grass exchanging stories and running around finding giant mushrooms xD No one was really panicking, and I guess that's mostly because nobody knew what the hell was going on.
The principal then decided to move us to the school up the hill, which was kinda stupid because there was another school just down the street. (our city has alot of schools...) Alot of the teachers and students, including me, were complaining about it. We were saved by ~Silvergatomon's dad before we had to walk that far though ;P He drove us all up to my house and that's where we hung out for the rest of the day! Good times ^^

Oh yea, I should probably say there wasn't really a bomb. Just some idiot prank. Kinda weird because the day right before one of our high schools got the same threat O.o

Everything is back to normal now. I kinda wish exciting things like this could happen more often :P

I just discovered the greatest news EVER. I don't know if many (or any for that matter) know what my favourite game is. Well I'll tell you right now, it's Okami :love: I have so many reasons for loving it so much, but I'm not hear to rant,(about this subject anyway xD ) I'm hear to spread some amazing news!!!

It's going to be called Okamiden: Chisaki Taiyou (Okami Chronicals: Tiny Sun) and is going to be released on the Nintendo DS in Japan sometime in 2010! Ack I can't wait!!

(All right, time for some ranting. If you haven't played Okami this might get confusing...sorry!)

I've read a little about it already, and it sounds really great! It takes three months anfter the end of the first game, and they changed the protagonist. To me this is slightly dissappointing (I was hoping they were going to create some kind of adventure on the Celestial Plain with Ammy and Waka....meh :/ ), but they kind of made up for it with the name of the new protagonist....Chibiterasu!! xDD It sounds adorible! Apparently Chibiterasu going to be a guy, and some kind of a younger version of Ammy....also, they're saying that Chibi's going to have a couple of partners. (Omg I hope we get to meet up with Issun!! 8D ) They say one of the partners is going to be Susano and Kushi's kid. I kind of knew this would happen, it's was kind of hinted in the Art Gallery in the first game, I'm pretty sure it was one of the epilogue-ish pictures, and he had a character consept too.
I'm also looking forward to the mechanics of the Celestial Brush. I'd say it's going to be alot easier to work with it on the DS, although the Wii version pulled it off pretty well. ^^
I wonder if they're going to keep the same kind of Japanise water-colour painting style graphics for this game. I expect...well I know they won't as great as the graphics in the origional, but I'm hoping they do a good job. One of the things that captured my heart in this game was the outstandingly beautiful graphics. :aww:

Ok, went to school yesterday to get report cards and see the closing assembly. The assembly is basicly for awards, you know like highest science mark, most musical, leadership awards, etc. Turns out I managed to win two awards, yay! I won the "Achievement Citation" award for my class (I think it's for the student that "always puts forward a good effort in class" and "is a pleasure to have in class" and blah blah) I also got an award for getting on the principal's list, which means I got 90+ on everything on my report card. I was really happy ^^ They also gave me these little gift certificates to go with them too, though I have no idea how to spend them...

I'm not sure if everyone does this, but here people usualy get presents for passing the year. Me and my sister are sharing the present this year, we got a flat sceen TV for our room! Ah God it's so awesome, I can't wait to get some watching in tonight! ^^

We also got out pool up. We've been it and out of it constantly since it was set up, even when it was raining lol xD

Anyway they actualy weren't that hard at all. It's kinda funny how people get so worked up over them and they turn out to be nothing. It was the same thing with last year to, and I came out with 80+ in everything. I really want to get all 90+ this year though. I know, I'm a total nerd :B Then next week I only have to go to school for one day to pick up my report card, go to the little closing assembly thing in the gym, and then it's summer! Ah I can't wait! Hopefuly I'll get one or to good vistits to the beach....

Hah..I'm afraid I might be lacking it the digital art department for a while untill I fix my tablet problem. Guess I gotta start pulling out some markers :D

Ok, so I go on to GIMP and I got my tablet all ready and everything, but for some reason all the drawing tools will not work for me when I use my tablet (you know, like the pencil and paintbrush tool), but when I go back to the regular mouse it works fine. I don't think it's a problem with the tablet, because when I do anything else it I have no problems, but I'm no expert so....

Anyone know what I should do?

Ok, since I have so many things I want to get off my cest, I'm gonna number them! Isn't that fun? -___- Ok, here we go..

1. Incase people didn't catch it in the last journal, I'm canceling and closing all requests, so please don't ask!

2. My subbie expired :( Gotta get a new one soon..

3. Easter break....didn't do alot. Especialy sence my computer was busted.. (see 7.)

4. Finnished Warriors New Prophecy! And Twilight Serries! And Maximum Ride Sireis! Woo!

5. Got all 90+ on my report card this term!

6. I'll be cleaning out my gallery today. It may take awhile..

7. Computer broke for a while...part of the excuse that I haven't been here for 2 mounths. Apparently it was something with the power supply, but we ended up getting a whole new computer so it doesn't really matter.

8. Had SO many projects due in school recently, and they were all around the same time. It was veary stressful. We had a book report consisting of six journals and two mini representing projects, a social studies project which needed a compleat display on a backboard WITH presentation (which we didn't end up doing so YAY!) AND a veary long paper to go with it, and to top it all off, a science project where we had to make these "foldable" thingies which are compleatly pointless and anoying peices of crap. (they had to have information from three different chapters..)


And that has been my rant! Hope you enjoyed the show. I also hope that you guys know that I'm really sorry that I left you guys for 2 months - I feel really shameful about that - and that I haven't stopped drawing while I was away! I'll be posting stuff as soon as I can!

Another year is over, and we come to welcome a new one! I had a really great time New Years Eve, even though the were alot of horizontal fireworks xDD lol heres what happend..

If we don't go to a friends house for New Year's, we go to the playground the across the street from my house to launch some fireworks, but it didn't work out quite as we planned. My dad went and lit one of the fireworks, but before it could shoot into the sky, it tipped over. It ended up lying on it's side, spewing colourful flares towards the open road, and one almost hitting a car XDDD (good thing it was parked) The same thing happend again, only one almost hit my brother and it sent all the moms running everywhere :rofl: It was really funny, my sister even got it recorded on her camera, so we can whatch it again and again :D

Other then that episode, it was all safe and fun. Our last firecracker, (so called "The Grand Fanalle" ) was absolutely beautiful. Everyone was oooohing and aaahhhhing the whole time X3

I hope everyone had as great a New Year as I did! :)


In other news, I took off the old Christmas CSS. Once I get a new one, I'll post a new journal for you guys ^^

So anyway, I was talking to some people about subscriptions, and looking at people who had them. They looked very tempting and looked like there was alot of features inclueded with them. So, out of curiosity, I checked out the subscription page. About $10.00 (Canadian) for 3 mounths. Pretty good I think.
I mentioned it to my dad the same day. He said he'd take a look at it, which he did today. And you know what? He actually bought me a subscription! Out of the blue, out of nowhere! I hugged him pretty hard, I can tell you that!

We are still waiting for an e-mail from Pay-Pal or something, which might take a few days according to my dad, but I don't really care.

Now it says that I'm acually subscribed! This is so cool! I'm off to explore the subscription world!! See ya!


EDIT: After finding a tutorial for CSS, I decided to change my journal around to make it more Christmassy :D Hope you like it guys! ^^

This is a beautiful poem, and it's perfect for Remembrance Day. It's called, "A Casualty" and it was writen by Robert W. Service, not me. The saddest thing about this poem is, that it actually happened. :(


Anyways, I didn't post a journal for Halloween because I was really busy. But sence I was free tonight I thought I should put one up for Rememberance Day. (which will be in about 8 days here) We read this poem in Language class today and I almost cryed. :( I thought I should post it here too in spirit of all the solders that died in the first and second world wars plus the current wars going on as we speak.


Now please, on November 11, take the time to remember!

First, many of you know that Dawn of the Dragon is coming out this mounth is Canada, which is very exciting for me for a few reasons.

1. I've been a Spyro fan since I was 5, so it's only natural :D

2. It's the last of the triligy

3. The promise of outstanding graphics

4. You can play as Spyro AND Cynder

5. YOU CAN FLY!!! :dance: (I mean in the game knuckle head ;P )

6. They brought back Hunter!


I've alreay pre-ordered the game at my local game store, they're going to call me when I can come pick it up. The game officialy releases in Canada October 28....I think. Correct me if I'm wrong.


Another reason why I've been so "out of it" this weekend would be because of Wolf's Rain, the greatest show I have ever seen in my life! I don't know if any of you guys have seen it or not, (except for ~Silvergatomon ) but if you love wolves WATCH IT!!!!!!!! It's an animie but they got it in english too.

My favourite character would have to be Tsume, (pronounced su-may) but I really liked Kiba too. Toboe (to-bo-ay) is so cute and Hige (he-gay) was halariouse :D

I guess I was so too myself because I was trying to figure out the ending, it's very confusing but don't worry, I won't ruin it :D

Well, I've had that Lugia Avatar for a long time now, (made by :iconcynder-and-spyro-fan:) it's time for something new!!

Some of you may reconize the Espeon head from here [link]
I took the head shot and then animated it to make it blink! (which wasn't easy! I actually had alot of trouble with this avatar... -__- )



In other news, school has been pretty good. I got Home Ec. and Art this year. (yay art!) Luckly my homeroom class is with :iconsilvergatomon:, so I'm quite happy! :D So far there hasn't been much homework, thank god, but I guess I should expect a little more after the weekend.


Art Trades an requests are WIDE open! I'm compleatly free at the moment, so don't hesitate if there's something you'd like to see! :aww:

Unexpectedly, my computer crashed and I almost lost everything. We only just got the thing hooked up again last night, so thats why I haven't been on. The good news is, the guys at the computer place recovered most of our files. The bad knews, I have to redownload GIMP, so don't expect anything from there for a while, just simple pencil.

Also, I know that I promised some of you guys some pictures, and I haven't forgoten. I just haven't had a lot of time to draw lately, so please excuse me if the pics are late ^^;

Anyways, I guess thats it. It's good to be back on dA and I hope people didn't miss me too much :D Peace :)

EDIT: I just found out. I know some of you may never of herd of :iconspyrodudelolalbum:, and neither have I, but when :iconcynder-and-spyro-fan: made a beautiful piece dedicated to him, I thought you should all know..

This great artist is dead. From what I herd, he died in a car accident recently. :iconspyro1000: was with him when it happened, and I feel so sorry for her....

Even if you never knew him, or herd of him, like myself, I think you should pay respects to him, I'm sure he would have liked that.
